I recently came from India and was craving for fish from last 2 months. Someone recommended me joey s restaurant. I went there last night and enjoyed a lot. It was very delicious fish. One I ordered was pan fried fish with cajun spice that was also amazing. I will definitely visit again there.

Servers need BETTER personal Hygene and we had 2 different servers, BO was BAD very hard to hold our breaths that long. Food was good but not great. was a time that the resturant was closed for some reason, so now hopefully new management and will improve

Served coffee cold and bitter beyond drinkable.meal served on steel cafeteria trays. NEver saw a server after we got water, . No one checked back offered anything else Kitchen staff brought out meal. And removed coffee cup. 3 tables in use no staff did anything except take order deliver food and take money

Yesterday i went with my girlfriend at joeys seafood brandon for supper. The meal was marvellous. I ordered for fish and shrimp combo. I guess the best seafood in Brandon is at joeys. Must visit!!

Server was trying their best, our food took forever, & when we did get it, tasted like it had just been over microwaved ; chewy, old tasting. Fries were luke warm & kinda rubbery ; I am not sure who took over this specific location, but it s a huge disappointment. Joeys in brandon never used to be like this at all. Big waste of money, disgusting seafood. Do NOT recommend.

The owner is a complete jerk to his staff after a customer was very very rude to the waitress he then proceeded to give her heck even tho it was not the waitresses fault I felt so horrible for her He should spend more time cleaning up restaurant and even hanging his sign right inside and less time being a bully boss Won t ever go there again needs a new owner as every time I have been in there it s more disgusting and he is more rude to staff

I ordered fish and chips. The service was prompt, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended

Restaurant almost empty, had to wait 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks. The menu came, but there are still no drinks. Another 15 minutes waitress came back to take our order, still no drinks. We ordered 2 Cod and chips. We waited another 5 minutes only to be told they didnt have any Cod. That was the final snub. We left very disappointed. I. We will never go back.

Online says open till 9 and also the sign hanging on the door. Went in at 750 pm and was told they close at 8pm. Umm its Friday night and your open sign on the door says different.

The salmon were prefect! The meal was delicious from our first bite to the last! We miss living closer to our favourite dining spot. Thank-you!

I went with my sisters at Joeys brandon . We were new at brandon and were craving for seafood . And seafood at Joey s we had was too delicious . The haddock fish we ordered was fabulous . It was first time in my life having that much delectable seafood .

Pretty sure I paid extra to have actual COD and believe it was Pollock. This was on an All you can eat Tuesday June 21? . It was a Take out order. Only one server for the entire restaurant. She was awesome!

I ordered the seared salmon with some vegetables on the side. The meal was very delicious! The restaurant was very busy when I was there and from what I could see it was because of a staff shortage. In spite of the staff being run off their feet they were always friendly and helpful. My server apologized for how long it took for me to be served but I really didnt think an apology was necessary because of the lack of staff. Everybody at this restaurant was friendly and did the best they could. This is a great place to eat because not only was the service great the food was delicious.

Entered the restaurant on Friday, September 16th, 2022!! Was seated at our table! Place was busy, but overly!! Server took our order at approximately 5:30-5:40pm! Received our lemon water and anxiously awaited our meal!! And waited, and waited!! The clincher came when the table next to us, who came in after 6, Received their order and we were still waiting!! Asked a server where our order was, she checked, and reported that it apparently went in but the tickets did not print!! Wow!! Had to wait again!! Almost 2 hours later, we finally got our meals! Asked to speak to the manager, was told, he would be out, hes just finishing orders in the kitchen but was offered 20% off our orders or a free dessert!! I advised that I would like a complimentary meal but was so upset that I asked for takeout containers!! Server came back with our containers and advised we would get a $ 20.00 discount!! Packed up our meals, paid the bill and left!! No plans to return to this Joeys again!! Sent an email, expressing my concerns, was told I was threatening if I did not receive a response and would post a review on the website!! Well, guess what, its not a threat, its a promise and im posting my concerns!! And my husband was accused of YELLING at the server!! At NO point, did he or any of us, yell at anyone in the restaurant!!! We have been to Joeys everywhere we travel and this is the first time we experienced such unprofessional management and staff!!

Waited 45 min and then had to call a server to take our order in the meantime several other tables that came in after us had already been served and were eating Food wasn t to bad but for the price wasn t that great, won t be eating there again anytime soon

Portions are much smaller then the last time we were there. But it was tasty

The manager is one hard working man He alone took orders and served the orders bussed the tables He did an outstanding job Ayce fish was extremely tasty and the size of the fish was too be commended Everything extremely hot I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Brandon that wants their fill of fish

Service was good and the food was good as well. Found it to be abit costly from what it use to be.

Food was okay not worth the over hour wait time!

Food came had to track down a waitress to get a fork. Finished eating waited 10 minutes for them to come by then asked for a water to wash the food down and a dessert menu. 7 mins later stopped the other waitress for the same told her Im waiting for these things. She said they only had lemon pie, but brought the water. Im only usually at a Joeys from start to finish 25-30 minutes was here for over a hour. The 2 stars are for the food and thats generous.

Came in for lunch on December 3rd, 2021. The service was incredibly slow. The only reason we got out food was we lined up at the door to leave. It was a slow day and the restaurant was by no means packed, even by COVID standards. Worst of all the food was cold. Absolutely terrible service, I will NOT be coming back ever.

They asked for 2 pieces of ID Covid health card and Picture ID. I thought that was unusual but I could see that they did not have the iPad for use for just the Covid health card and they are required by law to take pictures on their phones of all their customers. I understand and thats OK by me. I am following the law and necessary covid requirements as they are.

Probably the worst seafood experience of my life. I felt like a terrible parent expecting my children to eat their food and fully planned on all of us getting sick from the undercooked appetizers. Very disappointing and expensive. Contacted management who publicly stated that our concerns would be addressed, but they never were.

We were visiting Brandon and just wanted some good middle of the road food. The food was good and what youd expect at a Joeys - the green salad was exceptionally good ; the service was fast and attentive - or so we thought at first, but it later turned into almost harassment/stalking with the server coming running every few seconds and trying to take our plates away. Due to a medical condition, my son doesnt eat very fast, so this became really irritating really fast. It definitely felt like she couldnt get us out of the shop fast enough; funny when there were other patrons who lingered at their tables after finishing their meals. We were unsure of the reason for this - were we racially/ethnically profiled, or were they just busy and unable to handle the situation? Weird

I went in because of the high ratings for the restuarant online. As I walked in there was a bad smell inside the restaurant but I still stayed just to taste the food. I thought food will be amazing but that wasnt true. I asked the server whats their best dish even she couldnt point or recommend anything that is outstanding or signature dish. I got sick after eating there.

It s definitely on the pricey side but I absolutely LOVE their fried fish! The meals are always hot and cooked properly but there s often the odd mistake on taking the order (nothing worse than getting all the way home and realizing there isn t enough tartar sauce). Their salmon is great as well but again, pricey.
