The food was incredibly disappointing. The veg pasty we bought was not only stale but also overfried to the point where it had an unpleasant, almost rancid smell. The texture was dry and the aftertaste was overwhelmingly bitter, leaving an unpleasant sensation.

Over priced food and food is not traditional looks some sort of frozen cheap food ,

Very very pricey for chai and snacks. 2 sandwiches and 2 Chai cost me $45 through Uber. Such a rip off! Please do not waste you money for a glass of chai. My humble request to all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Every single food item is out of a frozen food box. I can make the wraps and bowls better myself. So disappointing. Only thing good is Karak chai save your money and eat somewhere else!

Rating 1/5 I recently was at CHAI WALA OF LONDON with my friend and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. the service was disappointing. Firstly, the wait time was much longer than expected. We got 2 rolls and 2 chais and When the food finally arrived, the server was very rude and asked me to leave a review I don t care. Who says that to customer? I had to wait there with just half my order while he is giving other people their orders. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. For the prices they charge, I expected much better service and food quality. I hope they can improve, as the location and atmosphere have potential.

If you are a chai lover and want some nice time and a cup of good tasting tea this place is a must visit. Not super budget friendly but well worth it.

Pathetic service!! I called 20 mins in advance for my order, and was assured it ll be made in that time frame. Person working there proceeded to tell me to wait another 15 mins upon arrival. Ended up leaving after a 40 minute wait after walking in! For a chai flask with 6 cups in it and a bunch of samosas. They have 1 person working on a weekend with a packed restaurant. Never coming back here again! If you value your time, I suggest you don t either.

Chai s taste is not consistent. Some days are good, some days are bland. Service is really good.

This place has desi vibes with a modern feel. Nicely done up. Bright and spacious is what you feel when u enter. The menu is limited but not limited to a few things. We had the samosa chaat which was delicious. I can say it matches what we get in India. The aloo paratha with the yogurt and mint chutney was also very tasty. The chutney is the Game changer in this dish. The Bombay sandwich was ok. It could have been like a more simpler chutney sandwich rather that all the potato stuffing it came with. The Karak chai was not bad and the gulab jamuns though served hot were dripping with sugar. We were disappointed not to get the paneer chili which is on the online menu but not available at this location.

My first visit to London Chaiwala was fantastic! They had a great variety of chai options, and I especially loved their masala chai. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed to find that they had removed masala chai from the menu and replaced it with karak chai as the only regular chai option. Unfortunately, I didn t enjoy the karak chai at all. While it might be a good choice for those who like it, I personally prefer masala chai and was disappointed by the change. the atmosphere is nice and place was nice. I tried their aloo tikki burger, lets talk about the size it was very small sized bun and very small patty. there was no sauce on the bun and aloo tikki was burnt. i wouldn t recommend trying their burger.

This is a chain from England. Over there the food is freshly made and well presented and their tea is a hundred times better than what theyre serving here. It honestly tastes like evaporated milk and tea. So you get that weird film in your mouth after you drink a cup

Unfortunately, my dine in experience was so bad. It was the first time, I came to Brantford, I thought it would be great to do dine in at your place But it was totally opposite as we expected. We ordered Aloo pronthe which doesnt even look like a prontha at all- so small, feel like doesnt have a single Aloo properly in it.Pav bhaji was okay. Furthermore, I suggest you need to add more drinks.. Your menu was so limited .. I really want to drink something but there was no soft drink but still I ordered Bottled Maza - look like no one shaked it from years it look so old..You guys really need to work on the little things.As customer there are some things which you need to notice for improvement. I never wrote review for any restaurant but this time i feel its very important to write. Regardless this, Staff was good. I really appreciate them.

Review for the Brantford, ON location. Had the sugar free ice Karak chai - lots for cardamom flavor... The drink is delicious. The service staff were polite and courteous. Will revise the review once Ive tried more items on the menu.

Hop in for amazing North Indian food and chai s. Made our trip to Ontario worth.

I have been to many of their locations through the GTA. I was super excited when they opened one in Brantford. I ve been going every week since they have opened. Their pastries, food and drinks are fresh and top notch. I still can t believe I haven t wrote a review yet for this location. They are a 10/10 and super friendly and professional.

Below than average quality. Mango Faloda was not thick, took 20 min to get , size was too small, wont bother to go there again. There was one tea spoon of mango ice cream in faloda

I ordered a veg kabab today but it was not properly made or doesn t have any taste and it was little cold too, not sure if the guy made it wrong or they don t serve that item good!!!

I stopped in for the first time around 4:45pm on Friday April 26th and had veg samosa, veg pastry, Gulab jamun cheesecake, and Nutella paratha. The samosa and pastry were moist with a flaky crust and had good flavour with just the right amount of spice. They were quite big - much bigger than the samosas at other places around town. The Gulab jamun cheesecake was light and fluffy, with not much of a cheese taste. It was sweet but not too sweet, and not at all heavy. The parathas were really good, somewhat sweet and buttery. Management and staff were friendly and I thought the service was good. There were a couple people ahead of me, and the wait was about the same as at Starbucks or Tim Hortons, but friendlier. I ordered two breakfasts from Chaiiwala on Mothers Day and we thought they were very good. The eggs had nice heat and spice to them. The beans were too spicy for me (though I admit I am a spice wuss), but my husband happily ate my portion. I had a pink chai and my husband had a coffee. Both were tasty - the pink chai tasted like cardamon and had bits of what I assume were pistachios in it. Will order again.

We were out for a drive when we came across this place. Tanveer and Nabeel were very courteous and suggested us the Savoury French toast (which was Amazing btw) and my friend got the Chicken Tikka roll. Would definitely recommend, and if you find either of these two, do say hi! :) PS. This is the only photo I have, guess we were too hungry!

I visi this place frequently to have a short snack meal. The guy in the front Harshil suggested me SAMOSA CHAAT, it was the best chaat I had in overall CANADA in my 8 years over here!!! I would suggest all my friends and known ones to visit this place for awful experience!!!!

Ive visited morning it was first time here.Heard about it alot.. its really a perfect place in Brantford to spend time with friends and families and also the store manager Ziyan recommended us butter chicken roll, Desi breakfast which was aweful!!! He came to us and asked 3 to 4 times that did we liked the food!!! We loved the ambience and the food will surely recommend all my friends to visit the place and also will be here again soon!!!

This location is horrible. The serving amount is so small for the amount of money they charge. This place is a total ripoff. Guys please go somewhere else to spend your hard earned money where you can get better food and portion for the money you spend Only one girl is serving all the customers which has really slowed down the food service. The owner of this place seems too cheap as he is trying to save money in every way possible.. I can see this location closing down soon because of its bad and small portion service

Never again, I visited this place with my friends and we had ordered tea, ice coffee and veg kabab roll. Expect tea rest all are too worst to even have a single sip or bite. I don t know the reason why the front desk person have billed for double veg kabab roll though I asked for a veg kabab and it is displayed as 7$. But he charged 9$ and .50 cents for asking to make spicy. Lolll And when I realized the price and asked him he was making faces. Waste waste!!! We will never be back again.

Poori Halwa Chana were not fresh at all. Kadak chai took tooo long hence irony with the name Chaiwala. No complmentary salad , pickles and green chillies even though we asked for it. Its just UNCHI DUKAN FEEKA PAKWAN.

The girl named Saima on front desk was very nice and helpful. We visited there for the 4th time and everytime we have KARAK CHAI (just love it), butter chicken poutine and aloo tikki burger. She suggested us bombay sandwich which was delicious. Saima checked with us almost 2-3 times for food and chai. Excellent customer service by her.

Amazing ambience. Food is snack sized, enough for 1 person, delicious and decently priced. With the kind of desi ambience, expected some Indian music and conveyed it to the staff. Amazing time here. Finally opened and best chai in Canada imo. Their karak coffee reminds me of home and dirty chai is a nice touch too. Tried the chicken Tikka roll and loved that too. Gonna be a regular stop for me after I finish work cause I got no one at home lolol. They are halal.

After all that hype in the community finally decided to go here last night and return disappointed, the regualr tea i ordered was served luke warm,upon asking the server said thats the last batch we have for the day (9:30pm). Additionaly my partner asked for sugar free one that was not available at all . Despite the pleasant ambiance the above has impacted my overall enjoyment . i hope they can improve these in future to provide more satisfying experience for their customers. Parking: none
