This is my first time eating braised beef rice bowl, save the money, it s super delicious, highly recommended

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Everything was delicious and staff were great. Chow mein was the best I ve had and the sweet and sour chicken was so good.

Four of us went in for lunch and we were hoping to get combo meals for one. They don t have such a thing so we ended up ordering a dish each and sharing it along with the appetizer of spring rolls. There was even enough food to take home and the food was delicious.

Would never order from here again. We ordered $100 worth of food, and we did not have enough food to feed 5 adults. We asked for paper plates, we received desert size small cocktail plates. No sauces like soy sauce or plum sauce even tho we asked for it 3 times. The kung pao chicken had 4 pieces of chicken in it, the rest was literally just peanuts. And it was sooo salty. I also found a hair in my serving of fried rice. Quality is not good and definitely NOT worth the price.

Thank you for being so kind to us and our daughter on our first experience. We won a gift card at an event at Harmony Square. We only had limited funds plus the gift card and they took care of us. Much appreciated, return customers here.

Grabbed some chicken with pepper and cilantro, and vegetable chow mein for lunch, it was amazing! My husband and I each had a plate and theres lots leftover. I highly recommend!

Me and my wife drove down from hamilton to eat here and it s our new go to, hands down best Chinese food I ve had in Ontario, with extremely fresh ingredients and made fresh upon order. The young gentleman of a manger is a very hospitable individual who constantly comes back to check up on you, to make sure all is good. The food is spectacular!

Decided to try this Chinese food tonight. Absolutely delicious. Possibly the best Chinese food Ive ever had, and Ive worked for 3 Chinese food restaurants. Had the sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mean, and beef and broccoli. It doesnt have that heavy greasy feeling in the chow mein, the s.s. chicken is very well done. Definitely recommend this place. Really friendly staff. Parking is rough if youre picking up.

Fresh and hot

We had take out from The Chinese Sisters, and we were amazed how authentic the flavours of each dish was. Every dish had its unique flavour. Beef noodle soup, sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice, beef with rice, were all better than the other. It is worth driving from far to enjoy the meal. We will definitely be dining in next time. Hands down the BEST Chinese food my husband and I have ever had. The food was fresh, real, and house made. I had the sweet and sour chicken which did NOT consist of the regular neon sauce youd expect but one that was tomato based, with fresh chopped tomatoes and lightly deep fried chicken. My husband had a sauté dish- delicious! Cant wait to return!

I have no idea how this place is so highly reviewed. This was probably the worst Chinese food weve ever ordered. The spring rolls were literally empty and had no flavor. The chicken brocoli stir fry had no sauce, no flavor. The chicken chow mein was reasonable, but flavour you could expect from the mandarin. $70 down the drain.

First time there tonight got spicy wonton soup and spring rolls absolutely loved the food I will be going back to try other dishes

I have been looking and looking for a Chinese resto in GTA found everything else but a good place thats reasonably priced and serves good food. We google this whole passing through Brantford. I went there with zero expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. The food is amazing we had chicken fried chowmein it was enough for two people I also tried the spring rolls......... I was not very hungry but then I just wanted to keep eating. Very delicious food. Staff is active and super friendly..... the chef came out to meet us she thought of someone else but then she chatted and we complimented her food. She gave us complimentary dumplings to take away. I have to say never had dumpling before but they were fantastic....... I know where I am going for Chinese food now and the best part they serve halal food.

Dont get fooled by an $8 charge from the store that she told me was for her driver to show up and claim they receive nothing of the $8. Food wasnt in a heated box and had to give another $10 because it wasnt the drivers fault. So my delivery about 1.2 km was $18, Food is amazing.

Presumably the only HALAL Chinese restaurant in the town. Therefore, if my kids crave for Chinese food, this is the only place to go to if you are not willing to drive to Hamilton or Cambridge. The menu is pretty limited and not lots to chose from. Mind you this is not Hakkah Chinese, so don t expect those flavours. The quality is acceptable although won t rank it among the excellent. The staff is nice and friendly though. The order was ready on time. No parking in front of the shop so find a street parking a little further down if available.

Do not eat here!! I was looking forward to Chinese food but what we got is indescribable. Another review mentions the sauce tasted like ketchup, and I second that! It was watered down ketchup. My stomach is killing me. 3 of us went and all 3 agreed it was the worst Chinese food we ve ever had.

Did we get the sister that cant cook? Ordered $80 worth of takeout - beef with broccoli, black pepper beef, chili chicken, beef chow mein, chicken fried rice...we were the FIRST in the store at open today, so everything should have been fresh. What we got was 5 dishes of bland mush...and I do mean no flavor mush. Everything was either overcooked, over-sauced to the point where meat and vegetables were disintegrating, or had only one over-powering flavor; we went here after a friend recommended...what a disappointment. The black pepper beef looked like a bowl of dark gravy, and tasted only of onion. The beef & broccoli had the same consistency you get with previously frozen vegetables, but tasted of corn starch. The chicken fried rice was over cooked and chewy. The beef chow mein was cooked nice, but the only flavor was a hint of soya sauce. Lastly the Chili Chicken, looked good, was cooked well...but tasted only of overpowering raw green chili. Weve eaten at a lot of different Chinese and Halal restaurants, and this one ranks at the bottom. We definitely would not return, nor would we recommend to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.

Ordered food from this place for the first time. Sweet and sour chicken was sweet chicken no sourness at all. Spring rolls were under filled. Quantity of chow mein was very less for the price. Woudnt be reccomending or be buying again from them.

Some and I used to eat here and it s one of our favourite restaurants. But after today we will never going back here again. The food has no taste at all. Super expensive, nearly $17 for a small amount of shrimp fried rice, not how it used to be sadly, I wont be going bad. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but after this experience I wont be back

Really hope they open a location in Mississauga, the Muslim population there would absolutely love it!! We were visiting from New Jersey, we stopped by to pickup some food. Awsome authentic Chinese. The lady in front was super nice, totally helped us figure out what to order. We got chicken with broccoli (she customized it for us) chilie chicken, Kung pao chicken(customized it without peanuts) and the best one was chicken mushroom noodle soup. Everything was fantastic!

Ordered Chicken Fried rice. Amazing . However I gave only 2 stars because of the price. I paid just over $16 taxes in. Container was only 3/4 full. Very expensive for an order of rice. I cant complain about the tender chicken and freshness but too expensive for a single order.

Refreshing and clean taste! Unlike many Asian restaurants out there, the dishes here were not overflowing with oil or spice. There was no greasy aftertaste whatsoever. The pictures on their site dont do justice to how good the food looks (and tastes)! I also liked the fact that you were not overwhelmed with menu options. Also everything halal! Met with one of the sisters (Candy). She was very hospitable. Definitely worth the 40 -50 drive to get there. Parking: Large covered parking lot nearby as well as street parking options.

The best place to have authentic Chinese cuisine is Brantford. Located in the downtown of Brantford, they have a spacious dine-in area. Tried kung pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, beef fried with pepper and cilantro, and hand sowing cabbage. Everything was good. Staffs are so friendly. We had the opportunity to meet the chef in person and took the time to appreciate her for the lip-smacking recipes. Highly recommended

Excellent food and customer service. Went above and beyond to ensure our kids were welcomed even after being fussy after their zoo visit. The portion sizes were good for us adults and 2 kids. The food was extremely tasty!! Will definetely recommend them to anyone visiting Brantford and we will surely visit again!!

2 days back, I ordered broccoli chicken stir fry spicy with gravy and chicken fried spicy for dinner. However, when I opened the box, there was no gravy at all (pictures are attached) and the chicken pieces were few. Unfortunately, our dinner got ruined and it was late so we couldnt go back as we didnt want to wait any more again. Sadly, The customer service and food quality have deteriorated now.

Chinese sisters offers a quaint friendly atmosphere with authentic tasting Chinese food. The spring rolls were light and very tasty. Along with the Beef, pepper cilantro dish. The chicken fried rice was extra good with loads of flavor. Even if there is a little bit of a wait, its worth it Since every order is prepared fresh. This was our first time but we are already looking forward to the next time.

Where do I start? I tried this place due to the good reviews....very disappointed... The reviews must have come from their friends.... Circled the block four times because there is no parking for the restaurant..parked a block away and was nervous about my car (a lot of sketchy people downtown) .watch the signs for street parking,most are 15-30 min parking...which means if you want to eat in you are gonna walk half mile to park.In my opinion the food was the worst Chinese I have ever had...the rice was overcooked and had a weird taste... It cost 54 dollars for 3 items and the menu is super basic with not much selection.. I would never go here again nor refer it to any friends... I did give it one star only because the ladies were very pleasant and friendly..

We used to love the Chinese Sisters! Especially the potatoes that are sadly no longer on the menu. I notice that it s more Canadian food vs the amazing food it used to be. Also, the dishes that had spice depth no longer do, so you need to order the spicy dip to add that flavour back into the food. Sadly moving towards the same offerings as every other Chinese restaurant- bring back the amazing dishes!

Recently discovered the place even if the portions are a bit smaller the quality of the food is great! I especially enjoy the pepper beef with cilantro!

All the food I eat from here is juicy and flavourful. Last night I walked by the building to go to class and saw that the women behind the counter was wearing her mask correctly while she was alone in the restaurant... Makes me feel safe ordering from here. :)

Found this place by chance while driving through Brantford. Great hospitality, the manager was friendly and welcoming. Food - delicious, heartwarming, cooked from the heart food. We ordered the beef pepper with steamed rice and beef rice noodles. I will definitely be visiting this place again, and again, and again .

Yes! Yes! Yes! What a great meal. Ordered, delivered, and first portions devoured in 55 mins. Online ordering was easy. The food was hot and delicious. We are pleased with the portion size, we even have leftovers. We will definitely be ordering from The Chinese Sisters again.

They offer a good serving of home-cooked-tasting Asian dishes. The noodle soup could use a bit more meat and toppings and soup, instead of being 70% noodles.

Food is disgusting. Brantford clearly does not know what decent Chinese food is if theyre rating it this high. And on top of it drinks were warm. Sauce tastes like ketchup. Meat is bad quality, rice is oily. And way, way, way overpriced. Never again.

A very good experience eating here. The people here were very friendly and suggested dishes for us to try based on our spice level. Portions sizes were good and the food was amazing tasting. Would definitely visit again if we were ever in the area. The only thing that I would suggest to improve is their chowmein.

The food was okay very small portions for takeout only good for 1 person not good for sharing the kung pao could have been better, chicken was very small cut and the prawns in the shrimp fried rice were big so there was less then supposed to ! Also the fried rice didn t have much taste and no salt maybe ad less say sauce and more salt. I would come back but will definitely have to tell reception to make a few changes ..

Probably the worst Chinese food in the world! The rice was like soup? An hour later it was rice, but was still disgusting. I ordered 3 spring rolls and got 15 mini spring rolls that were disgusting. Weve been here a few times now and are never disappointed with the quality of their food. The prices are reasonable and worth it. We usually get the beef chow mein, and have also tried the sweet and sour chicken, shrimp chow mein, spicy chicken on rice and the spring rolls. Portion sizes are always great. Tried their new desserts the other day and loved them ! Would highly recommend

First time. We ordered two of their spicy dishes the beef and chicken with a third order of noodles. At roughly 10.75 per dish we did think the portion size was pretty small. The meal was good however. But if you ordered only one dish you would be hungry. It was a nice change

Ordered from here for the first and last time tonight. The food we got was good but, We did not receive any sauces and one of the dishes we ordered was not what we ordered. 15$ straight in the garage. It was extremely disappointing to say the least.

there was no meat in the kong pau chicken. 7 pieces of sweet and sour chicken. no meat in the chow mein. the rice has no flavor. this is by far the worse food and i would never buy from here again even if you pay me to eat here I wouldnt. Nasty food.

Tasty food, however the servings are tiny and wheres the beef? Ordered beef and broccoli, they should call it two small pieces of beef with a whole lotta broccoli. Sweet and sour chicken, again tasty , but more breading than chicken . Wont be ordering again, how unfortunate , was told this was one of the better Chinese Food places in town

I ordered the Stew Beef Rice Combo through UberEats. I was a bit nervous about the overall and meat portions due to some of the reviews, but I was quite pleased once it arrived! The container was packed full with rice and a generous portion of meat. First two bites of beef were very fatty, but it was cooked in a way that it melted in my mouth instead of being chewy or stringy. The meal was incredibly flavorful and filling, I have half of it saved for tomorrow because of this. I am a sauce lover, and like to mix it into my rice, so next time I would request extra sauce. Looking forward to trying another meal with them! :)

First time visiting this restaurent, we came from Hamilton. The owner was so kind, the place was clean. The food was amazing my husband and kids loved it. My daughter made sure I put lots of stars review so I am honoring her request. We also bought their homemadr hot spice jar ,it tasted just perfect I had to bring some home for myself. One of the best chinese Ive ever had. Will come again!

Sunday evening in Brantford, August 2020, with a taste for Chinese food...we dropped in to The Chinese Sisters. We were greeted by the very friendly and personable proprietor, Candy Yang. We found the place to be very clean. The menu is simple but a good range of options. The food arrived quickly and very HOT! We had Shanghai noodles and beef with broccoli. It was very good. Overall, a delicious and inexpensive meal. Highly recommended!

I had the spicy chicken and it was amazing. I was sweating and couldnt stop. Only about $11 as well.

Wow!! The food was so delicious and the service was fantastic. Spoke to the owner and her authentic food makes you want even more. All of the meat is Halal. Delicious! Restaurant was very clean, spotless!! Thank you we will return often.

The Chinese Sisters stay true and honor the tradition of Chinese food. Many restaurants around the area may claim authenticy; however, their menus are Chinese Canadian. This restaurant knows the formula of what makes Chinese food so good. Its rich, colourful, and has diversified flavour profiles. The seasoning is well-balanced. You can tell the food is fresh because of how good it tastes. To top it off, the prices are quite fair! The only criticism pertains to the portions. There should be more, especially for take out. Service was friendly and done with a smile. All forms of payment are accepted at this location. Overall, The Chinese Sisters was a delightful experience with superb Chinese food. Highly recommended for all lovers of Chinese cuisine.

We were in Brantford for a whole day of kayaking on the grand river. We found this amazing gem in downtown Brantford and holy omg the food was amazinggg, it hit the spot, living in the gta never expected to have such a great Chinese restaurant better than some in toronto!

A fantastic hidden gem! Quality ingredients, fresh food, authentic menu - no chicken balls here! I had the spicy chicken and was very pleasantly surprised at the punch of flavour and level of spice, it was very satisfying. Well priced, great service (in-person and over the phone), highly recommend.
