100 Market St S, Brantford, ON N3S 2E5, Canada
Loved the food, great vibes. They delivers an authentic Indian dining experience with its flavorful dishes and cozy atmosphere. The butter chicken and naan were perfectly spiced. Their sweets, especially the gulab jamun were fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and quick service made the visit even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Indian flavors!
I love the food and vibes here. Customer service is good and fast. Whole staff was very nice and polite. The food was amazing specially butter chicken.
Every time I pick up my food, Rajandeep consistently provides outstanding service. She’s always attentive and friendly, ensuring everything is prepared just right. The food is always delicious—fresh and perfectly cooked. Rajandeep’s excellent service and attention to detail make every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Wonderful place to buy Indian sweets! We also saw someone ordering Chola Bhatura and it was huge - could easily serve 2 person. They also serve Ghevar which is very tasty !
I had a delightful experience trying out both the chicken and veg thalis. They were incredibly tasty, and the portion sizes were quite generous. However, I did notice that the restaurant could benefit from brighter lighting to enhance the ambience. While the quantities were more than enough for one person, I found them to be a bit on the larger side. Nevertheless, the food looked fresh and appetizing, and the inclusion of salad added a healthy touch to the overall meal.
we ordered fish pakora and mainly a poor fish sacrificed life for us but we ended up looking at this food item because no flavour no taste even not cut properly piece. Secondly got malai chicken with not taste i swear. So think before ordering these things from here as they won’t improve even after suggested last time.
If you are craving for Indian sweets or snacks, this is a good place to visit in brantford. Especially the samosas here are really good. You can get a Samosa at $1 only. Worth the dollar😉🤩 Havent tried anything else though but will update if i do😁
So we have tried bread pakora here and it's pretty good and samosas too but today I had the worst samosas ever. The outer layer of the samosa wasn't crunchy at all and the inner potato batter was so plain, it lacked spices and the essence of the samosa was gone completely. Therefore, their service is always slow it takes forever to get food. But we go there for the quality, I don't think I'll go back again since this time I'm disappointed.
Best place to eat samosas in brantford. Kid-friendliness: Yes Food : 5/5 |
Bad experience .I ordered sweets from here, taste was very bad cost me $50 and i garbage all, chum chum smells like petrol Don t sell items which are kept from so long , totally unsatisfied!
The staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The chola bhatura was incredible and the aloo paratha was too good. 10/10 recommend going here. We had a great experience.
Best food and sweets at this place. Will definately give 5 stars for their food and service, its amazing.
Food was awesome and i will recommend this restaurant once everyone have to visit
Nice food or sweets or good service
Tasty food
Very Fine Quality food and Sweets and Excellent Customer Service by team
Indian sweets are the BEST. The food and service quality was truly exceptional, I cant wait to come back Food
We ordered saag and curry pakora and it was the best . Everyone loved the food and asked me where i ordered from .
I visited this restaurant today my experience was so bad they have to hire more staff to focus on dine in customer because if we visited the restaurant for dine in they have to properly service the plates and spoons to their customer as well as food quality so bad so please if they open the dine in so they focus to their customer .properly and give the training to their staff how to deal with the customer.
Food n service is great always here Rajan always gives great service Food
Service not on time.
Love this place. Food is great. The only thing they could improve the timing.
Great food in the town Must visit the Indian sweets are too good
Order waiting time is very long

Best samosa and sweets in the brantford. They have mathhas, pheni as well for karwachauth which are really delicious. Will definitely give 5 stars and recommend to everyone.
The milk madam was really good and tasty I really recommend it Parking: There are lot of parking too Food : 5/5 |
Oil used is good sweets are good Kachori is also good Pedha is good Food : 5/5
Ordered tandoori chicken and chole. The chicken did not taste fresh. Chutney was terrible. The chole was not very good. Disappointed
Best street food in brantford and service is great they pick the call very quicker and Rajandeep served us in best way, she was very kind and i highly recommend to visit the restaurant if you are from brantford specially for parties and catering.
Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options, and all are delicious. Food
Tasty food and sweets.
Worst customer service ever. To pick up a order you have to order a year ago still won t get food on time. No response no matter how many times you ask
Great samosas
They have the best Veg Thali in Brantford at affordable price.
I had paneer lababdar, mix veg and tava roti s, it is complete packge of Punjab villages very tasty , best in town
They were helpful in finding the right dishes, prices were okay. for the town this small it s convenient to have this restaurant. They soon will be moving.
Good service
I come often to eat their aloo tikki chat. Their sweets are also good. But I always have one complaint, it is their customer service. Sometimes they dont pay attention to the customer standing near them and dont even ask how can I help you. Customers who came first should be handled first than the new ones. I have seen people leaving because they were not treated well. I will appreciate if they can improve in this aspect. Thank you.
Steamed Momos
Aloo tikki chat was amazing. But samosas were horrible. No flavour in samosa. It was just potato and peas, no salt, no spices. Chole bhatura were good quantity for good price.
It s a very good sweet shop. No one in the area still beats them in the sweets quality or taste except Jalebi which is a hit or miss depending on how old they are. For food I ll consider it as a pick up place. They do offer dine in option but it s not a fine dine. It s more like you order the food and pick it up from the counter and eat it on the table. You have to keep on looking at the front counter because they are very soft spoken and they don t have a mic system. It s not comparable to Sindhi, Haldiram or Gopal sweets style dine in. They dine in food will be in disposable sectional or paper plates with plastic spoons. The presentation of the food doesn t justify the food shown on the website or the walls outside the shop. The taste of the food is more like if you ever attended a marriage in a village of Punjab. The food is not bad at all it s very simple in terms of taste, spices or smell like an authentic pind style food. If you are from a city, big town this place might not satisfy your hunger. I feel it s a family run business and it s one the old shops in Brantford and people still have loyalty towards the shop but with new/other food places opening around they should raise the bar. They have the decent size place, good sitting and should travel to similar places to see what they can do differently. I wish them a very best of luck.
It was a good rainy afternoon. We arrived there with a grumbling gut, eager and craving for some hot and spicy meal;after placing and waiting for our pick which is the kadai chicken gravy with jeera rice. The one and inky thing is that the whole gravy is drenched and drowning in oil!!! The oil masked everything literally, imagine the oil was left in hands even after washing hands with soap.. totally disappointed spoiled the evening and waste of money (I can get 1.5 litres oil in that price) I gave the team my direct in person feedback and the potential health impact it can create in a hope they would improve..atlast I couldnt recommend this place to my circle!
I dont know why Negative reviews. On weekly basis I came from Niagara for my classes and one of my friend recommended to try there Chana Bhatura and samosa. I went there and ordered it and it is far from my expectations. I never tried that type of smaosa and bhaturas in whole Niagara and other then else in Canada.I recommend all you to come here. Now its my final destination to eat in Brantford whenever I makeup for my classes.
Today i and my friend ate Samosa and they are best...
Best bread pakoda in Brantford .. neat and clean restaurant
Food, ambience, service everything a1.
I bought rasgullas and gulab jamun. They were stale and had really awful taste. Please don t buy them.
Best Indian restaurant suggested by my friend and clean environment.top*
Poor customer service, doesn t treat customers with respect . ordered food recently - veg thalli - dal makhni i ordered they gave white channa instead. stale quality of food
Got some sweets just to find out they are rotten. Worst experience in brantford. Price and food quality doesn t match. Please avoid this restaurant at any cost
They gave us the spoilt food twice. One is panner Jamun and tandoori chicken and didn t pay the refund. And the service is very slow. Food : 1/5
my experience with this restaurant was utterly appalling. The food was clearly spoiled, and the customer service was shockingly bad. Save your time and money and avoid this place at all costs.
I ordered, expecting the same high-quality food that I have come to associate with your establishment. However, upon receiving the delivery and opening the packaging, I was dismayed to find that the food was spoiled. The unpleasant odor and visibly compromised quality of the food were immediately apparent. As a loyal customer, I have always appreciated the efforts your restaurant puts into maintaining freshness and taste. Unfortunately, this experience has left me greatly concerned about the standards of food safety and quality control in your kitchen.
This restaurant is a culinary disaster zone, don t be surprised if you have diarrhea after you eat here. The food was so horrendous, I wouldn t be surprised if it came with a side of food poisoning. Save yourself the agony and eat anywhere else.
The food is really bad.
Food was ok but zero star to service n atmosphere. I recommend don t go there for dine in as there is no staff.
Hey actually I am giving that review on their tiffin service actually it s really really bad experience with that restaurant. I have non veg tiffin. They have mix the food with different Garvey. Most of the time I have to throw food which feels me so bad. I m paying money for food and I got that Type of food. People paying money for getting some good food but that s worst experience I ever had in my life. Thank you for that your worst service ever in.
Best jalebi
I really dont like the customer service and food . Totally waste of money .
Jassy advise me for indian grocery and i got the best service in ontario
Good service by Harpreet
Really really good service and excellent environment
I ordered for a takeout and they said order will be ready in 15 min, I went there after 30 min still they didnt prepared the order they still asking 5 more minutes.
Please add vegetable in veggies pakoda not only besan
Worst food and worst taste
Worst food Brantford don t waste your money ( paise khrab na kro ethe )
Ordered fish pakora and malayi chicken but we got just food without any spice or taste. Pieces were not even cut properly. Wasted money again as we suggested before same thing about food. Never go for this restaurant for these two item specially.
My favourite place in brantford. Food is great and prices are very reasonable. Must try.
The chole bhature are soooo bad they gave me food poisoning and chronic diarrhea also gas congestion in my body Never going back soooo over priced and this food will make u have food poisoning for 12-72 hours because its so bad
Great service. Food was so delicious and hot. Would definitely recommend my friends and family. Had really good experience.
Had really good experience on my last visit. I went there for dinner with my family and everyone likes their food. Great customer service.
The best place un brantford for Samosa,Its just wow I highly recommend.
They are too slow in their service. I waited for 40 minutes to get my order and the end have to cancel it as they were taking forever to give me the food. Not a right way to handle their customers. Not coming back here.
The food is really good and specially malai kofta spice is delicious The quality and quantity is really amazing Vegetarian options: Too many options available Parking: Amazing food Kid-friendliness: Amazing Wheelchair accessibility: Good facility wheel chair is accessible
Rude front desk. This is not the way customers are treated
There was no spice and no taste in samosa
Ordered cchole bhature, too bland. Also, ordered gajar halwa and it tasted like oil. :(
Tried Chole and Parantha , must try highly recommend them Wheelchair accessibility: It would great to have a wheelchair accessible washroom Food : 5/5 |
Poor service
Last night I went with my friends. Channa Patura was good. Need little improvement in cooking Channas. Samosa Chaat and BHALLA PAPRI CHAAT was good too. Tea is better than Chai Wala Brantford. Reasonable prices so far. Owner should keep in mind that Brantford has mix community including Pakistanis too. They should add little spice to their food because Pakistanis like spicy food. Over all not a bad experience. Sorry forgot to take photos.
Excellent place to enjoy Indian food in Brantford and Great staff and delicious food...
One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited. The food was amazing. We got samosa, paneer kulcha and hakka noodle and it was just perfect with enough crisp and filling. And the price is also very good. Definately going there again.
We called in and placed an order of channa battura. The person who took the order said the order will be ready in 15 mins. We called in at 2.52 pm and we reached your restaurant at 3.10 pm. Went to the person at front desk and asked for the order. She asked How many battura? We answered we already placed the order. She was rude and said that s why asked how many battura? And was rude and showing so much attitude. Not at all welcoming. We were told, again to wait 15 mts. I am not posting this because I got to wait, I can understand that restaurants can be busy, but just because of her attitude and non welcoming nature I am posting this. This is not how you behave, with customers.
Taste was not match any other restaurant. Pls try once time . Food
Recently we ordered samosas. It was amazing definitely, they have changed a lot. Their samosa masala has improved a lot.
Great food.
The overpriced, large Manchurian Veg only had 8 balls, and they were nothing but pure mush. It was like eating spicy (and weirdly sweet) baby food.
Stale and rotten sweets, got food poisoning and vomiting just after eating it, which depicts this place is making money by selling expired food items. Never going to buy anything from this place again!! Worst
Food is good, service is also fast. Great options for vegetarian meals. Really like there samosa chaat and paneer pakora.
Tasty samosas
Best Indian restaurant in town I love the food and quality.
Good taste and price
Samosas are really good but Paneer Lababdaar was as sweet as kheer. No flavour in the paneer Lababdaar, felt like having sugar in the paste of onion and tomato.
Very poor flavours and quality of food. Chilly chicken s first step is to fry the chicken and the Chicken is cooked in the sauce only. Fish we ordered has too much salt in this which cannot be consumer more than 1 pc. Also who serves raw bell pepper with fish in india as a side, it could be either onions or raddish. The mint chutney is too watery and bitter in taste. Really won t be ordering from here. Indian cuisine is so sophisticated and fresh, and seeing people ruining this is a shame.
They have good sarso saag and makka roti.
Amazon Indian food
Very slow service
Best restaurant With the sweetest people
All the food was great Got samosa Aloo tiki Pakora Goat curry And 2 sweets The milk cake was sooooo good
Good place for makki ke roti and saag
Yummiest Saag and Makki Roti. Daal Makkhani is already tasty.
Best service and saviour of late night cravings
Please improve samosa quality(more crunchy ) very soggy . Rest is perfect
Tried Channa Bhattura and Aloo Parantha was fresh and yum. Will be back to try the Indian sweets !
A hidden gem in Brantford - chole bature are one of their specialties
Maybe the chef was having a bad day but my Chilly Paneer was a disaster. It was bland, not seasoned properly, and the Paneer and veggies were literally floating in the oil (see picture). Also there was a lot of cumin in it, which made it worse, weird for any Indo-chinese dishes Just ate the paneer and threw it all away, very disappointed! The Besan Laddoo was good, if not the best, the portion size was perfect for the Chilly Paneer and the lady in the front was quick hence I am being generous with two stars.
I ordered kadahi chicken from here they gave me paneer instead and didnt give me any compensation and next time i ordered hakka noodles and mancurian and it was ridiculous. 0 stars avoid this place.
I ordered veg samosa. It was Tasteless also they give me only one small container of chutney for 15 samosa, and ask me to pay extra if I want more, I pay 1:30 $ extras for each of the chutney. And chutney was also tasteless.
The food was just ok, but their customer service was even worse, the prices on their menus are outdated and will charge you more without notice. Everything is extra and the place is is not very welcoming
Tandoori chicken had no flavour.
Came here for some Samosa Chat, ended up grabbing a Lahori Tikka (mint paneer) and a chamcham (pink dessert). The samosa chat was good, lot of flavours, sauces, and spices. The Lahori Tikka was an incredible experience. It is like nothing Ive had before. It had the flavour of paneer with grilled onions, green peppers and a slight mint flavour to it. It was served with the green peppers and onions which made it all amazing! The pink sweet (chamcham) was juicy, sweet, and had a lovely texture! I would come back for the chamcham and the Lahori Tikka as I have never heard or seen lahori tikka on any menu before, a great thing to try if you like new flavours! If you are dining in, they dont have much seating. I would recommend take out.
Food was taste less and zero customer service, no staff was wearing uniforms, gloves and hair nets. Hope they can do better.
Ordered butter chicken and 4 tawa rotis. Roti wasn t cooked properly, it was more of raw atta and for butter chicken, it has way more oil than gravy
I had an sahi panner just half an hour ago. All the time we got its delicious but this time it taste like water. Its not worth it as compared its price. Poor service this time
Such a waste of money. Tasteless food ,I felt like their paneer was expired but they still used it to make my food ,Their prices have gone up so much feels like recession is only hitting Indian spice sweet restaurant in whole brantford,They charge u more than taal restaurant which is 10 time big n tasty thn them ,$4 for 1 naan $3.50 for 1 tandoori roti ,This restaurant should be closed as they think they are 5 star acc to prices but food is even bad thn 1 star restaurant,Such a cheap people with Small heart ,Bad food should be reported to Food safety department,DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE
Indian spice restaurant is a good place to eat Indian food. Staff was very good and friendly.
Very nice food i love there chole bhature And samosas . Food
Very tasty noodles ultimate
Very friendly! Food portions were amazing for the price! Great flavors!
Disappointing Experience I recently had the misfortune of trying the paranthas at this establishment, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. The quality of the food was abysmal, to say the least. The taste was bland, lacking any distinct flavor that one would expect from such a dish. It felt as though they were hastily prepared without any care or attention to detail. I found myself struggling to finish them, as they were simply unappetizing. Secondly, the front person doesn t know any hospitality rules
Very good
Lady who works as cashier is so rude , she does not know how to respect and talk to customers . When I told her I want 1 piece of each barfi. She is like what ? What you want ? I told her I will show her. She is very rude every time I visit
Food was fantastic
Worst place i order my food today and wait for 1.5 hour and then they cancel my order.Never ever order from this restaurant
The quality of samosa and jalebi has gone below 1 star. Absolute waste of money. Wouldn t go there again.
I got hair in my noodle burger. Disappointed. Food
Amazing Amazing Amazing .. we ordered bhallaa paapdi chaat, aalu tikki chaat, veg manchurian and veg noodles. Everything was so yummy. It was our 1st time trying something from this restaurant and we are definitely going back there for our upcoming parties. I have tried Indian food from Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington but nothing was so tasty. It was authentic Indian taste. Thank you chef and all other staff for serving us.
Well whatever I write in the praise for this place will be less. The food was delicious, quantity was perfect, well cooked and very friendly staff. I thank you all of the staff members of this restaurant to make our first party in this city more than awesome. I recommend this place. Thanks
What a luscious food I never had this tasty and clean Indian/Chinese in my last 4 years of experience. I would say must try everything. They are cooking passionately and deliciously, that shows in their cuisine and taste. I would request to the chef/cook, and the whole team, keep doing what you doing and giving us tasty, delicious and clean food. Thanks to the whole Indian Sweet and Spice. Brantford. Vegetarian options: Aloo tikki, Bhalla chat, veg noodles, veg gravy munchurian.
We tried manchurian, bhalla papdi chaat, vegetarian noodles and aalu tikki all are delicious. Staff is very friendly and polite. Prices are genuine. I really appreciate it. Food
As I said before, I am uttlery disappointed. Found hair in my noodle burger.
The samosa is bad quality and charged almost double what i would pay anywhere else. Sweets are mainly 80% sugar and expensive. Their quality is very bad. Wont be going back there. Avoid if you are looking for indian sweets Food
Thank you Raman for amazing service and great samosa!
My family loved the food here, it was amazing. Especially Paneer Lababdar and Malai Kofta...Its a catering for 50 to 60 people food...and My guest loved it..They were very Happy to eat.. And I love Samosas too..Its very yummy... And Thank you Raman for your help and good service...
Bought Matthi yesterday, I had one bite and it tasted so bad, it seemed like they have been frying things in very old oil it can be improved.
Vegetarian options: I had paneer pakoras as well and was made to perfection. I truly enjoyed the visit just like any other time when I do come to Indian spice. I rate the food it s good food. Food
There is an Indian cashier who doesnt know how to talk to customers, she was so rude. I do not want to ever visit this place.
Good food. Tasty cuisines I always prefer food from there because of taste and good quality
I always reach their because of hygenic and tasty food.
Good Food. Must try Chana Bhatura and Samosas.
There food are so food and tasty..If anyone miss indian food without thinking can come here....Well done
Best place in the town. Went there first time the lady at front was nice. Was getting backhome vibe. My fav place for Indian food
Amazing place for Indian food..I recommend to call your order in advance because they are very busy...the food is fresh and made to order authenticity..10 stars
Not worth. Too late service not even tasty. Food
Hello staff of Indian Spice restaurant. For starters I just wanted to say that the restaurant is amazing! However this is my second time writing a review for this place and third time ordering the same item. Since my mom came to Canada she wanted to have something traditional and I ve had good experience with Indian spice . So, I ordered the usual garlic naan, tandoori roti, with daal makni. Firstly, the daal was so salty and uncooked. In addition, the garlic naan was hard and thick, I couldn t chew it. My $35 was wasted! PS: This isn t the first time that this has happened to me. Last time this happened the company didn t respond to me. I WANT A REFUND RIGHT NOW!
Amazing Food, Amazing Service
The best place for sweets. The lady that works in the front is very nice and very welcoming. I was pregnant and I was craving jalebi. I just wanted one tiny piece cause I cant eat much sweets too during pregnancy. So there was no point of me buying in pounds. She saw I was pregnant and she gave me a piece. I really appreciated this gesture (that was a year ago). I always go there for sweets and their food! Its not very pricey too
Delicious food and friendly staff. Will be back soon!
Tasty food must come
Best indian food in Brantford!!!!!
Delicious food!!! If you love food, this is the restaurant you cant ignore in Brantford. Also its probably the most perfect Indian restaurant in the area.
The food is amazing. They have all varieties at a reasonable rate too. The food tastes like home and fulfils all the hunger needs. The only flaw was the curd that went alil sour. But other than that, everything was delicious
Best Indian food in town. Kudos to the family
Very poor customer service, person standing behind the counters was very slow. Items are very costly. Never want to be there again.
Chicken biryani is amazing, love the biryani here in general however their chilli chicken wasn t that great. I love their samosas though and good price overall.
Delicious food
The food was awesome . They treat u like their own family. Great service
Very tasty yummy food ,
Amazing.
Food was delicious
Eat at your own risk .the facility is unhygienic and they serve rotten, moldy and spoiled food. I bought these sweets recently and consumed without noticing the mold and got sick along with my family.
Vegetarian options: Amazing and very nice food on quality and quantity
Absolutely stale taste of the sweets I got and then upon complaining ladies showing unnecessary attitude and behaving super rude and not admitting any mistake! Will never recommend this place! Some other customer complained about the same already a week ago and still they wont accept.. terrible experience
Love the food and sweets
Overall experience was great. The food I bought was really tasty and My family also appreciated. The service I recieved was incredible. Vegetarian options: Sweets
I have been to this restaurant couple of times They are best in the town for fresh indian food. If you want to enjoy real taste of indian sweets and indian food ,do visit this place. Highly recommended.
Food was great.
Quantity was good but taste was okay okay. If you don t find any other good option, than and than I will recommend this restaurant. Otherwise they are making food according to your preferences if you have any special request.
The only place with pretty average food in Brantford. Chole bhature is a go to dish.
We ordered food and it was half cooked.
Worst waiting times jus ordered 3 basic items 1 hour waiting HiGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED if you wana eat quickly
As soon as you walk in the wonderful smells hit you. Portion sizes are very large so we got some delicious leftovers for tomorrow
Simply amazing food! Economical as well as hygienic. Simply loved this place
I love my first experience with Indian spice sweet & restaurant. Prices are reasonable and very good portions of food. Top of all, food was delicious.
They are great but they need renovate their place
