A la carte & buffet dining room preparing a selection of Indian starters, entrees & desserts.
Best Buffet My dad and I wanted a quick bite on Saturday the 14th at 3:30. The buffet options are bad in Brantford but I remembered going here around six years ago so decided to try again. At that time it was a fairly new restaurant that was a converted fast food restaurant so the decor was dated but I remembered the food was good. Taals has had a renovation (I think before Covid) and it’s very nice inside. The decor is pretty but not overbearing. It is open concept but also has divided walls when applicable. The gentleman who greeted us was nice, well dressed and polite. Place setting was lovely with a cloth napkin, and the water is served in chilled glass corked bottles, which is super convenient. You can get four full glasses before needing another and it also reduces having to ask the wait staff for more. Washrooms were very clean! Important for any customer buying food, is to note the cleanliness of the washrooms. Solid A+ from me. The buffet itself is nicely laid out, with Veg dishes, meat dishes and sides, and then desserts with an ice cream freezer in the middle. The flow is nice because you can circle around and leave without having to go back the other way. Naan was empty at the buffet and it’s clear why: the basket of garlic naan brought to the table was warm, fluffy and delicious. Perfectly cooked. The food itself was scrumptious with every single bite. Flavourtown, the seasoning was not too hot but mild enough to have a kick. And above all it TASTED FRESH. For a buffet transitioning to a dinner menu, the food was excellent and didn’t taste stale or old. My most important takeaway from this meal was honestly the price. My dad and I went for sushi a few weeks ago and it was $94+tip for two of us. Taal has $21 for lunch and $25 for dinner (I think, please check) and I found that price point perfect. Especially since four hours after leaving I was still full from one large plate of food and a small plate with pakora and a samosa on it. The fact you don’t have to wait for the food, it’s good food, and with the tax gone you can spend $100 on a family of four means you’re getting the best bang for your buck. I live downtown and it’s $18 for a takeout of just butter chicken here, so an extra $3 for a plethora of options wins my business. If I lived closer I would be here all the time. I look forward to returning in the future.
Ambiance and Food was good. Took their buffet lunch. Loved their paneer, mushroom & mutton curry.
I have been a loyal customer of Taal Indian Fine Cuisine and always appreciated the delicious food and great service. The lady who usually assists me is exceptionally good, always polite and professional, which makes the experience enjoyable. However, my recent visit was disappointing. A new staff member was argumentative about certain details and later realized I was correct after consulting someone more experienced. Additionally, the portion sizes served were insufficient compared to previous visits. This was my first bad experience, and I hope the management addresses this by providing proper training to ensure consistent service quality. The food remains excellent, but the service needs improvement.
I had the pleasure of trying their food at an event last week in Woodstock. Good food and service. They’ve many different items on the menu. Veg Manchurian, fish, chicken everything was fire. Many vegetarian and non vegetarian options. They have a mobile catering truck that you can have at your door for any occasion. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
Taal Indian Cuisine in Brantford is a gem for lovers of authentic Indian food. From the moment you step in, the inviting ambiance and warm, attentive service set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The décor is understated yet elegant, with soft lighting and traditional Indian food. The taste was not as usual, North Indian food. Also, the service was extremely slow. I won't be coming again to the restaurant. The hygiene level was low. Flies roaming here and there over the table. Restaurant management needs to take it seriously, or else the customer won't come back again.
I had high hopes for paneer tika masala and chicken, but the service was a complete disaster and We waited over 1 and half hours for our order. The dish was overly oily and lacked flavor, spicy and sour taste making it unappetizing and chicken was half baked 🤮🤮
The food here in Taal is one of the better tasting Indian buffets out there. The dishes are flavourful and the naan is baked fresh. My dining companion can attest that to be the case comparing it with some of the other Indian buffet places present in Brampton, Ontario. Talking about the restaurant's interior, I can see that the best was done with the space available. The buffet was on its own corner of the floor properly partitioned off from all the seats in the dining area. The table and upholstered chairs were also picked out to exude some level of classiness. Additionally, I appreciate the touches of Indian sights and cultures present posted in the wallpapers. Though the food was delicious, there was not an overwhelming variety of food options present. To be fair, the other Indian food places with more dishes available are at a much higher price point compared to here. Service can be improved. No one was present at the reception desk or by the door when we came in. We had to wait for quite a while before we were attended to and escorted or motioned to our seats.
Food is absolutely delicious, usually busy. We have had the buffet and order on menu, bi Oth fantastic.
Back again with friends for another great meal. The negative reviews of the restaurant cannot be taken seriously. Especially the reviewer who indicated there were very few vegetarian meals. That is totally FALSE. There are at least THREE large buffet tables and one is completely vegetarian, and most of the other two are also vegetarian. Therefore the reviewer who said otherwise is not accurate at all. Also the restaurant is fairly new (as you can clearly see from the pictures). It is generally very clean and service generally very good. I have been here 30 or 40 times in the last 8 or ten years and it has never been anything but excellent. Vegetarian options: There is a large number of vegetarian options. One reviewer says there are not. That is false. Most of the dishes are vegetarian on all 3 buffet tables
Must try buffet
Amazing food at the buffet....so many choices ....Amazing taste ....best customer service!!....such a beautiful restaurant
We have been a regular client. We went for lunch right after picking up kids from school. We did not realize they jacked up their buffet price significantly, almost 20%, charging us price for dinner, who eats dinner at 3:30pm!!!! We loved you guys, this was so uncalled for, we will never visit again!!!!
I loved the buffet and would recommend it.
Excellent food
The best Samosa I ve ever have!
Just my husband and I this afternoon in the entire restaurant. Buffet looked as though it had been sitting for a while. No naan with our 1st plateful. Mango lassi took 25 minutes to get to us. Waiter was on his phone for a while. No lights up for Diwali. Very disappointed as we have been going to Everest Grill and it is so much tastier, freshly made food. But decided against our better judgement and gave Taal another chance. Never again. With so many more Indian options available in Brantford now, Taal is on borrowed time.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere, came from Oakville for a birthday dinner and was fully satisfied ,everything was awesome. Kid-friendliness: The food was good and the kids enjoyed the food and enjoyed the atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Supery food and service no. 1
We choose unlimited buffe. But honestly saying we didnt like the food. Every non veg items tasted the same. And no salad no ice cream were there . Only 3 chicken items and one mutton curry. Even the available items were not refilled properly and we had to wait long time to get the food. We are not at all satisfied with the food
Always good fresh food but you need to wait because it s taking time for ready don t know anything about buffe but order one very good
Great place to have some buffet Indian cuisine, from mild to spicy selections.
They use to serve fresh food but Quality of their food isnt that good.
I LOVE THIS PLACE the servers are kind and beautiful, the chef is talented, and the ambience is welcoming.
We bought today samosas and they were soggy and uncooked. The outer cover of samosa should be well cooked and crispy. We waited enough to get our order done but still unsatisfied of our order. Sweet was good. Vegetarian options: Buffet has more vegetarian option but we had take out order. We picked up ourself
I have been to Taal with my husband and we ordered Hyderabadi Biriyani. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful but the Biriyani was the worst one we ever had in our entire life. I couldnt even consider that as proper Biriyani . All I can taste was some rice cooked with a lot or turmeric and chilli powder. I hope they change the way they prepere the Biriyani.
Hlo taal tuhada good bohat wadiya aw and tuhade ik munda km krda 20 ja 21 saal da udi service better then better rabb ude km nu bohat agge like jave and is the best restaurant in the Brentford god bless you taal owner
Nice place. More then enough food. Very flavorful, quiet. Nice for date night.
I cant say enough great things. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is friendly but most importantly the food was fabulous. Great variety of options in the buffet. I left full and very satisfied . Definitely returning and recommending to all my friends. Run to check this place out!
I recently visited Taal Fine Indian Restaurant and had a mixed experience. #### Sitting Area The sitting area was quite average. It wasn t inviting, just a normal setup that didn t add much to the dining experience. #### Buffet Food As a vegetarian, I was disappointed with the buffet offerings. There were very few vegetarian options available, and the food was not very delicious. To make matters worse, some dishes were cold, which really affected the overall taste and enjoyment. The service was also quite slow, which was frustrating. Considering the buffet price, I didn t feel it was worth the money. There were only a few non-alcoholic drinks to choose from, which added to the underwhelming experience. #### Non-Vegetarian Options I cannot comment on the non-vegetarian options as I am a pure vegetarian and did not try them. Overall, Taal Fine Indian Restaurant has a lot of room for improvement, especially in terms of vegetarian options and service quality. For the price, I expected a better experience.
I have been there for two times, both time service was really bad and slow. In buffet, most of the time all the containers was empty and they are not restocked.really bad experience
The service
Very best option for buffet. The staff is also friendly.
I dont like their service. Nobody asks you anything. You have to keep calling again and again so disappointing.!! I have visited here several times and this happens with me all the time. They can literally do better.
Where is the naan? We always have to wait and we are lucky if we get 1 wedge with our buffet. Food is good but many of the buffet items are not replenished quickly.
Worst service everytime,
Worst place . Don t visit here . No customer service . No value of time
Worst service. Worst of worst food ever tried in my life time. Took more then 1 hour to serve.
Impressed all around. Food was fantastic
Delicious work lunch.
They dont mentioned correct timings I came all the way from paris they said we closed at 9 whether the time online is 2 am Food
Delicious food. Nice decor.
We just had our meal from Taal for our daughters birthday It was excellent, so delicious, authentic and the service was great! Highly recommended Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from, everything delicious
The food was stale, i ordered samosa channa and as soon as I opened the container , I could feel its not fresh, i took a bite and found it was not something I should eat, i could tell it was bad, i did not eat after and unfortunately had to throw it.
Visited this place for the first time, we tried their buffet...The food was really good especially their desserts, and the ambience was nice... Also their service is good... Highly recommend Taal Fine Indian Cuisine
coperative staff Good food Must visit Food : 5/5
We ordered a food truck to prepare delicious tasty food that was served hot for our guests in our home. Lakhi and his team especially Pammi arrived on time to set up and did an awesome job again! Everyone enjoyed the food tremendously. Food
didn t like their food because all Indian veg dishes looks like they were made out of ready to cook mixture. Not only this but also of food was also cold and chole looks left over of previous day .even they are not feeling empaty container regularly. To be honest Their panupuri, ice cream and Mango cream have delicious taste. This is my overall honest feedback.
Tonight i had a dinner at taal, i had multiple items and all are extremely bad in taste, the only thing i like is ice cream and their veg. Spring roll. Atmosphere was good and service was average and also utensils were extremely smelly.
They should start serving noodles as well for small orders or just one plate serving. Its so yum Food
It was ok, way to much chicken and not a big selection, Im sure its nice for a lot of people.
A great variety of Indian cuisine that is always fresh and delicious in my experience. I never get tired of eating here, hands down my favorite place to eat. Update: 5 years later, Im still obsessed and it is still my favorite place to eat. Food
Taal never lets you down!
Greatly enjoyed the buffet meal here with friends. Its buffet style so not much service required. The flat bread could have been replenished more quickly. It was delicious. The servers could be more aware of when guests need a water bottle refill. But it was a great time and great price.
Indian food with good quality and taste. One must definitely check out the buffet option they provide! Worth the price I must say!
I dont expect the best service in the world at a buffett but some service? Maybe take a drink order? Clear the plates in a timely fashion? This place is being run by a bunch of young boys and it shows. Also the food is full of msg cos you will be full after one or two plates so the $25 mark is a bit ridiculous. Food is ok but I wont be going back.
Today is Mother s Day . Arrived at 4:35 for early dinner . Many tables were not cleaned . Saw only one waiter and one waitress . Our table had no utensils . Waitress did bring water for us . That s last time we saw her . Food was leftovers from lunch . Some were crusted over and lukewarm . Naan and rice was dry . We did have dinner but were extremely disappointed . We have been going to the Taal for many years . It looked like orders for delivery were more important than patrons in restaurant . There was a good 5-6 couriers waiting for their orders . Won t be going there again .
The place is beautiful, staff is very friendly, and the food is impeccable. Overall an amazing experience! Will for sure visit again!
It is the must try indian buffet that who so ever is around should try the food is amazing staff is amazing and even the atmosphere is clean and very nice. Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian option
Delicious food and best service Vegetarian options: Verity of dishes Food : 5/5 |
Food
The food is delicious. Amazing variety.
I ordered two plates of cholle bathure on March/27/2024 on the name of Karan. They mentioned in MENU cholle bathure(2 piece , Raita , salad ) but only gave 2 piece of bathura and cholle even very cold. Even white cholle are sour in taste. Food
My family and I have been coming to taal for years. Most amazing food, amazing staff. Lakhi and his family are the loveliest people we have had the please to meet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to go.
Delicious and affordable indian buffet with a range of dishes. Loved their mutton and garlic naan!
Sorry to say, but you guys need to work on the food. Only few items tastes good and moreover should be warm enough until reach to the table.
Appetizers - Fish fry, cheese balls, chicken drumsticks were good. Chicken tikka was a bit dry and stiff. Main course- mushroom masala, mutton curry, chicken tikka masala were yummmm with fresh served garlic naan. Dessert - Mango fruit cream and gajar ka halwa were so gooood! I have already been here twice. Will be visiting again soon. I hope they add different appetizers next time Im there.
Affordable and good quality. Clean. Server was friendly. Nice place to eat and talk without loud music. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was good, we needed salt but the server was great and brought us salt and pepper as well as a toothpick upon request.
rude behaviour by evening staff.. will not let me sit and eat if i order just samosa and tea.. thats lame.. thats not how you talk to customers if you want to run a restaurant
Very tasty and delicious Unlimited food Food
Every night is buffet night Cholle Bhature 6/10 Veg Pakore 9/10 Paneer pakora 7/10 Paneer butter masala 8/10 Paneer jalfarezi 6/10 Dal 6/10
Food was very good.
The food quality is inconsistent..Staff didnt show much courtesy...They Atleast have enough options for dishes on their buffet.. Vegetarian options: Sepetate Section for vegetarian who are on strict deit..
Best Indian food in Brantford .
Good dinner buffet.
Its been a while since our last visit, and the restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. The food tasted good, but unfortunately, it was really cold even for a buffet. The food that was refreshed was also cold. The wait staff were pleasant when around, but seemed to be very busy with other duties. All being said, it was not worth the money.
Always have yummy food!! Love everything here. My top pick for an Indian restaurant in Brantford. Prices are reasonable compared to their competitors.
Quantity, Taste and Price everything so delicious
Their food was so good according to Indian taste. Their Buffet - lot of options freshly made and it was delicious. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarian like paneer tikka masala, kadi pakora, zucchini masala, mix veg and many more. Different types of sweet dishes too.
I had been eating here for years, but I find the food sub par since its been renovated. Take out takes forever, and whatever time they tell you on the phone for pick up, you can add an hour to it.
The food was amazing. Very authentic flavours. We loved it. Will definitely be back. We tried a few different curries and they were all delicious.
Great service
Absolutely excellent... Fantastic service.. nicely decorated restaurant.. Excellent food and food selection Food : 5/5
Great place for a small town however service could be better. Fairly priced.
We have always found the buffet to be a excellent. So many incredible flavours and plenty of variety. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself has been beautifully and tastefully renovated. Can t recommend highly enough. We travel a long way, since we moved from the area, to eat at Taals. Mouth watering cuisine!
Good, clean buffet
So me and my friend went there to dine in today. And there s this girl came up to show us where will be sitting with absolutely no customer service skills we said hii to her but no response. We sat down and decided what we want and then wanted to give order but no one came to take order & we were just sitting there and waited for like almost 15-20 minutes then my friend went to the cash counter to give orders again no one was therr and again waited there for like 5-7 minutes no one came up then we just left the place.. awful experience!!!!
Decent spread of Indian dishes. Its a rather small buffet space to actually walk around but it works. Highly recommend the mango lassi.
Good food with reasonable prices and a variety of different options. We tried Paneer Achari with garlic naan and it was delicious. I certainly recommend it. Parking: Enough of parking spaces.
Being a buffet, I expected the food to be mid-tier, but it was excellent. Every dish tasted top-tier. Bathrooms were clean and the dining area was nice, only thing that couldve improved was the speed the food was refilled - some of the dishes werent replenished for the entire hour we were seated. I was shocked they only charge $20/person for this. Definitely will return!
Its been 15 mins waiting for someone to take the order nobody came to take the order. If the restaurant is busy I understand But there was only one table booked But still no one came to take a order Ended up leaving the restaurant.
The food was cold. We did tell the waitress, and she said the food needed to be flipped, but I do that anyway before I serve my food. She said to get new plates of the flipped food but it was still cold... didnt say much more. Disappointing considering alot of people rave about this place. Been thinking a few months about trying it and unfortunately I wont be back. The flavourful was good. The food was good but it was cold.
Food quality is average; service is very poor. We went for buffet and asked them to deliver naan, waited 40 min and nobody delivered it even after reminding them multiple times.
Ive eaten a lot of Indian food all over the world and the best Ive had in Canada is the Taal
Always get delivered never been to the buffet before but would like to because this is the best Indian food in Brantford maybe even best just food in brantford. Thank you for your time.
Tried chicken jalfrezi and chicken lababdaar, its kind of ok and would not say very bad but dishes are very mild and not spicy i think its because of considering the white people coming in. I would suggest to change the spice level based on Indian crowd as well.
One of our go-to places in brantford for Indian food. Love the butter chicken and mushroom marsala. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is always clean and well kept.
I didnt think there was enough variety on the buffet. It was okay and the service was fair.
We order mix veg pkoras and paneer pakoras but when we opened packing at home there was only veg pakoras. They skipped paneer pakoras when we phoned them they didn t accept that we ordered both. Very ignorant behaviour and not good customer service.
Good options for buffet! We had a family dinner here and enjoyed the time there! Staff was accommodating to our needs as we had 2 year old with us!
I bought the veg samosa and pakora today from here and the samosas are old and smells so bad I feel so disappointed in front of my guests really disappointed will never go to this place again bad food
Vegetarian options: Alot of vegetarian option. Food
Heard a lot about this restaurant. Tried today but highly disappointed. Only good thing was Achari Paneer. They have worst tandoori chicken .felt like chicken was years old with very bad smell. Naans were not even wrapped in silver foil .were cold before reaching home. Lamb was uncooked, chewy like a rubber. Overall ..won t come back ever again
Not a great experience this time with Taal, We ordered Paneer bhurgi and veg kolhapuri and I am not sure which sabji we get(mentioned in image),you can guess! Thats whats we did. Overall, both subji has big chops of coliflowers, taste was decent but much more expected.
Ordered chicken and fish pakora. No salad given, served samosa sweet chutney with chicken. Fish was literally disaster. No taste, zero quality. Very bad experience.
Bad customer service This restaurant really need financial help bcz they can t afford cutlery with order Guy on phone Sunny malik don t know how customer service works He said all of their order goes to home and if you need cutlery you have to mention This is my first order how could i know that your restaurant don t send cutlery with food. I am at my workplace and I ordered chicken briyani please answer me how will i eat it
Slow service and uncooked chicken
Best place in town for real authentic Indian cuisine been going here for dine in and take out over 7 years now. Tastes delicious and you can tell they love what they do. If you like Indian food a must go place. Also newly renovated and looks great inside. Clean environment and polite staff. The food is always consistent because the chef and cooks are the same. Portions are always plenty for take out. Wait times can be long for take out put order in early you will be good. Would highly recommend Taal for real authentic Indian food. Have read some reviews with low ratings. Must be mindful this is a restaurant not your mothers or grandmas cooking. You cant compare restaurants to your personal cooking.
Great food but the female server with dark hair at front cash and seats you didnt get her name is rude..you guys need to hire better server
Lamb tasted good, but the rice was not good. Hope for better biryani in the future.
Food is so tasty here. Everyone like the food which we ordered. Excellent place for having Indian food.
Unfortunately, I tried to enjoy it, but somehow I couldnt, the area is nice, the seating area was clean but the staff was, hmm, interesting, the food was questionable. Honestly, I had better Indian food.
Went on a Sunday evening as 6 adults and 2 kids. They have a choice of buffet/a la carte .. we chose a la carte .. Had ordered a veg Thali (bread, 3 gravy, rice, raita and dessert), chole bhature, veg meal combo (roti/rice+gravy) and Kadi pakoda combo. Despite a steady flow of customers, their service was quite quick. For the Thali and veg meal combo, they give us a choice to choose gravy and dessert (for thali) from their buffet menu and this gave us many options to choose from. In my opinion, the portions were more than enough for each person. The bhature had 2 big pooris , with chole, raita and onions. The gravy was all flavorful and very rich and creamy. The decor of the restaurant had important monuments and culture representing India. Staffs were all active and cheerful in their service and kudos to the young gentlemen who served us for remembering all our orders and placing them correctly. Vegetarian options: They have a wide variety of vegetarian menu. Kid-friendliness: They have few high chairs, which are very sturdy, with safety belts and the cushions comfortable.
Just got Channe bhature from the restaurant. These are disgusting and everything is clear in the photo.
Tried for first time . Worst aloo tikki chaat and chaat papdi .
LOVED it!!! My husband wanted to try it their open buffet and it was very tasty. They have a nice variety of food and it was very cheap too per person. Will definitely go again.
Amazing food, the best Indian restaurant Ive been to in years! Had a little bit of everything, and it all tasted fantastic, come hungry! Vegetarian options: Large amount of fresh vegetarian options
I really loved the place and the hospitality, but the food at the buffet was not fresh. Don t go for buffet at this place. If you order food separately then only they make it fresh.
Great for COLD BUFFETTE. Never coming back for COLD meats. Terrible.
Perfect place to eat with fruit flies.
Terrible customer service. Staff doesn t care to pick the empties for buffet. Even have to ask for water as they seem least concerned about their customers.
I eat here regularly..do I have to say more...
Food was cold and test was okk, I personally dont recommend you the food because it does not have indian test.
Last time it was such a bad experience for us.I didn t like their food because all Indian dishes had same taste(like they were made out of ready to cook mixture). Not only this cause of dislike but food was also cold. By the way, Their panupuri (pakodi) and Mango cream have delicious taste and texture. This is my overall and honest review.
The service is terrible
Vegetarian options: Aloo Gobi Food
Good amount of choice. Lots of flavors. Refreshed often. Enjoyed my Chai tea. Food : 5/5
Food tastes awful. For the prices they charge they should put some effort and make the food better. Had ordered bunch of items last night but none of them were even close to good.
Pickup order - I placed my order for thanksgiving around 5.30pm for 7pm pickup. when i got there Someone told me its gonna take another 15-20 minutes. I am standing here right now and its 7.30pm and still they said its gonna take another 5 minutes. This is not the first time it happened with me. I always have a late service for my food and have to wait here for good 30 minutes. I would appreciate it if we get to know this in advance so we dont come here and all we just do is stand and wait for the food.
butter chicken is to die for..
Had some friends treat me a while ago. Great food, great experience.
I love this place, their food is delicious and the cost for value is unbeatable.
All around excellent experience, cant believe this was my first visit. Lots more to come for sure. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Ive had staff overly check up in a demeanor that was a slightly off putting as if my guest included myself would dash and dine. Kid-friendliness: Has a family atmosphere in the sense families enjoy gathering there for a good meal. Wheelchair accessibility: Has no stairs or awkward obstacles, bring a friend for the door
If you are looking for great Indian food and a great atmosphere, this is a great place to go. Not only is the Indian food the best I have ever had but they have a big selection.
Super food (buffet ), decent price. Love it .
I would rate it minus for everything, service horrible, buffet was empty, I had to continuously ask for item to be bought. Servers didnt even take orders for drinks and she was busy gossiping on the phone and asked us to wait. Owner had no respect to speak with the customer. Me and my family literally left the place because the service is horrible. This is not the behaviour we need when we go out to eat. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.
Worst experience I had here. There were no service on time and even if you ask for service and complain about this ,the staff and owner will fight with you for your complaint.
Extremely incompetent staff, rude owner. Couldn t taste the food because it never arrived, even though it was a buffet. Staff kept reminding us of closing time an hour before. Would definitely recommend it for Kitchen Nightmares
Really great buffet, everything was delicious and had really attentive staff. Buffet was filled till the end. Had a chance to talk with the kitchen staff, they are really great. Today there were some stupid guest yelling at the kitchen staff and front staff as well , i don t know why people act out and shout on the staff. All in all everything was so well and nicely managed.
Taal is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The restaurants ambiance strikes the perfect balance between modern sophistication and a welcoming atmosphere. Service is attentive and impeccable, enhancing the overall dining experience. What truly sets this buffet apart is the exceptional variety and quality of its dishes. From the melt-in-your-mouth Naan to the curry extravaganza and delightful desserts, every bite is a revelation. While it leans toward the valued side, the experience is well worth the cost for those seeking a memorable culinary journey. Whether its a special occasion or a desire to indulge in a diverse range of dishes, Taal guarantees an unforgettable dining experience.
Really good food, we had a big order for our wedding and the taste was really good. Even on big orders the taste and quality was superb. All our guest was really happy and enjoyed the food Thank you so much to the enitre staff of Taal restaurant for making food on our special day.
Great buffet !!
The food is so nice here but don t come here If you are about to die and need food because you are already dead here! The waiting period for the dine in is like If we come here in the daytime we will get the food at night! You people need to improve in dealing with diners and make the orders fast asap!
We have been here twice, after passing by it many times while driving, and we were absolutely delighted with the quality of the food. I think the option to order off the menu or buffet is genius. Although, I will say, because we have only ordered off the menu, due to wanting our food to be dairy free & at mild spice level, we found the portions to be a bit small. Normally when we dine-in or take out Indian we have leftovers, but not here. As a recommendation: label each buffet item for common allergens, and fill the serving bowl for off the menu dine-in. May return in the future. Vegetarian options: We are vegetarian & dairy free due to being lactose intolerant.
I was here in the afternoon for my brunch and trust me the buffet was horrible , their food tasted so bad and i eventually fell sick being here , the potatoes were cooked in such a bad oil that they were smelling . Every other vegetable curry was tasteless. Very bad experience will never recommend. Most of the time staff is not in the dining area and you have look for them to call them for anything. The samosas and pakoras were old they were not made fresh and it was clear. Pretty sure they do not change their oil. It was so bad .
The buffet is amazing so many choices, so fresh. It is beautiful inside, so unsuspecting from the outside. Costly, but worth it. Will be returning as this was already our second time.
Tonight was the death of my dinner takeout participation at Taals, I am not sure what happened, I order a full meal, nothing was good. The rice was not the usual way it is, it was clumpy, Palak peneer was watery not thick,it seem like it was not cook enough, the chilly chicken was not reddish like chill, it look like boil chicken, vegetable pakora were small and hard I felt like the rice was leftover from earlier, and Pakoras were heated up and once the air hit them there got hard and dry. This is unacceptable, I am not happy, now I got to go and cook.my wife is to nice, she is who bought supper and she did not want me to call and bitch you guys out. But this review will hurt you more than a bitch out.Respect people money!!!!!! Hopefully you will response.
It s a buffet but somehow, it was really not warm enough. The bead ( could not taste the garlic ) lacked the warmth & crispness you get when it s just out of the grill - just sitting there too long Ambiance and service average as well. It s very very bright - like having a flashlight all over your face. Not quite what I m looking for when thinking « fine dinning ».
The food was amazing so good we went two days in a row ... You have to go get your own drinks at the bar I think as they dont come to the table lol but we dont really care the food was so good and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . Definitely one of our new favorite places to eat ! :)
Ambience is very good. Staff is helpful and friendly. Variety of items were kept. Service was good. Taste can be better. All items were Indian items but missed the Indian touch in terms of taste. Good place to go with family and friends. I loved the Pani Puri and salad. They have sweets and other items for sale so if you wanna buy Indian snacks or sweets you can buy from here. They have buffet and à la carte. I chose buffet. All buffet items are in a corner so Id suggest you to choose a table thats near that corner because youll have to go for taking food many times.
Food was so good but service was toooo slow
Good quality food and good service

Bhature was awesome,
Best place in Brantford if you re looking for an Indian buffet. I have been here many times and the food is amazing!
Love the food. Hard to describe, you have to teast it.
The ambiance is perfect for family dining or spending food time with friends. The wall paintings beautifully showcase Indian culture, featuring Taj Mahal pictures that enhance the overall atmosphere. During our visit, we opted for the one buffet, priced at $19 on weekdays, and Mutton Biryani at $14. While the buffet met expectations for its basic price, the Mutton Biryani was disappointing. Unfortunately, we tasted they used the same Jeera rice to mix with the mutton, resulting in a less than satisfactory experience and terrible. We can call it as meat rice bot Biriyani for sure. Although the buffet was acceptable, we hesitate to label the overall culinary experience as authentic Indian dishes for all tastes. On a positive note, the staff provided commendable service, earning kudos for their efforts to improve and win customers mind
Food here is amazing!! Mushroom Masala was surprisingly fantastic. All other dishes were great. My favourite was the chilli chicken & naan. A little cramped in terms of the buffet area but plenty of space in the seating area, and fancy atmosphere / decor. Great classic Indian music plays in the buffet area to immerse you!
Hardworking staff, great customer service and delicious food!
I went the restaurant, we order briyani and some did buffet. The service was wrost, Whenever they respond very rude. Especially there is one guy, he was just screaming in front of us. We are really disappointed.
