I ordered a pickup from Gino s Pizza at 2 a.m., with the store closing at 3 a.m., expecting a smooth experience. Unfortunately, the store canceled my order without any notice. I was left waiting with no update, which was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If they were unable to fulfill my order, a simple notification or explanation would have been appreciated. Disappointed in the lack of communication and reliability, especially during late hours when other options are limited. DO NOT GO THIS LOCATION WORTHLESS PATHETIC

First of all here I didn t want to give 1 star because.This business consistently disappoints with its lack of customer service and disregard for operating hours. Despite being open until 3 a.m., they canceled my Uber order at 230a.m. As well as first time before i went and store closed before half hour of timing they shown that time i had querrel with them and they take my order after five minutes when i reched there before 15 minutes closing time and today when I arrived at 2:45, they refused to let me in, claiming they were closed while three staff members were still inside. This isn t the first time it s happened; it s the fourth. It s clear they don t know how to run a business or value their customers. They should seriously consider shutting down if this is the level of service they re committed to providing.I will contact hire authority about this thing not happening with other customers.

We have been giving them our business for years now, Even after some mistakes theyve made and still owing me $15 for being over charged, tonight my husband took $5 in change to get a slice of pizza.And they embarrassed him by saying omg it was too hard to count change, made him feel 2 feet tall . Money is money and you should be used to canadian currency! Dirty joint, rude people. Use the change to clean the place and wash ur windows and doors, or is that why u now have little flyers posted over the filth!

Worst pizza ever had in a while. Ofcourse should have read the reviews. Ordered 2 medium pizza bogo offer through Uber. So Ginos have some policy where there 1 toping (mostly meat) is considered as 2. But on Uber it is required select 3 topics. So these guys didnt put any single chicken on my orders. Neither called us to explain this thing. Ofcourse we would have understand their policy but atleast inform. When I called the girl was like umm sorry I dont know we cant do anything I told her atleast inform this thing to us instead of assuming on your own and send whatever you want to. Also the whole outer part was burnt as if it was made in super hurry. If you wanna make food online just to get rid of the order then dont. The girl literally said if you have issues complaint to Uber they will refund you. Why should I complaint on uber? Their delivery was fine. It was you who made the wrong order. Also she was like if you want another pizza, you come here Ill make you another. Lady, if I could come there why would I order online? Worst service and the pizza I ever had. This is a new review related to my last one. This place has gotten better I ordered on phone this time I ordered 2 large peperoni pizzas one with chicken and it was pretty good, ingredients were cooked pizza was a bit doughy good amount of ingredients. Moving on to the atmosphere, not as many bugs as last time and staff were alot more kind . Now service for 2 large pizzas they told me 30 mins it was ready in 25! The service was definitely better this time around. Restaurant not as bad would recommend for a late night snack. ( I recommend the hot sauce chicken peperoni pizza)

I wanted to order garlic bread she said was out of it? What seriously? I then asked if I could order garlic bread sticks but could they put some cheese on them. She said no. Really? No? Why not? The salad I feel was seriously too small for 7 bucks! The wedges were not even done to my satisfaction some like soggy done crispy. Mine were soggy. The bites I got did not have enough flavor what so ever tasted like toast really did NOT taste Any Parmesan what so ever let alone seen it one the paper or parmesan bite! They were burnt and dry and had no dipping sauce! When I asked for some she said didnt come with sauce if I wanted sauce I should have ordered it before hand! The service was argumentative and she wouldnt do a thing for her customer to make the customer happy. Customers on store were like wow and 1 person even walked out instead of ordering. I will not go there again. Staff there so not know how to make customers happy let alone cook. They should sell the business and go open a corner store or something. Not all staff there r like this but this is twice ive dealt with the person and now they just lost a customer and her family wont go back again. Plus costed me 40 bucks for 3 little thongs didnt even order a pizza

Yesterday, I ordered medium tandoori paneer pizza for takeout. At truck stop, when I start eating, there is bad smell came from paneer. Then I call store and informed about it. They said we are closing in few minutes, we cant make new pizza but we give you 50% refund. Next day, when I go to store, they said we donot have refund policy. Donot go there, they are using expire toppings.

The only decent thing to get from there are the big deal slices. 5.50 for 2 slices, pop and dip. I got a medium 3 topping walk in special last night, with 2 pops and 2 dips, came to $20, the pizza wasnt even fully cooked. Very little crust. Mostly dough and toppings. No wonder why my pizza felt kind of heavy. Caught between wether to go back or not after this disappointment. Such a waste. (Update) Took a star away due to calling them multiple times and going in person, asking for the manager. Doesnt seem like they notify the owner about anything, or the owner themselves, just doesnt care, and still nothing years later lmao the staff clearly doesnt care about business, making some people stand there until they are done chatting with eachother. It really is a shame, it used to be my go to spot, for pizza. 5 stars are definitely staged, written by friends/family/staff themselves or are paid for. They also seem to all know the employees by name on-top of it when there are no name tags visible.

Ordered pizza here last night as it was one of the only places open and we were close by. Turns out we should ve read some reviews first because the food wasn t even edible and the service was poor (they locked the door, and when we knocked and were let in, our order was sitting there ready and the guy said he forgot..). We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, bruschetta and garlic bread to keep it somewhat simple as it was half hour til closing time, and he accepted the order quickly so we thought that was a good sign. For the record, we were neither desperate nor drunk, we were just hungry and pizza sounded better than Burger King at 2am. However, I don t think even a desperate drunk would ve eaten the food we were served. The pizza crust was hard, chewy and had a weird flavor and the cheese was thick and cold. The garlic bread and bruschetta both had a sprinkle of cheese on them: the only 2 reasons we could tell them apart were that there were about 10 pieces of chopped tomato sprinkled on the bruschetta and the garlic bread looked toasted while the bruschetta did not either way, not edible. The whole situation was extremely disappointing. Honestly it looked like the food was taken out of a freezer and barely reheated enough to be consumed. If we d have looked at it before we got home, we would ve given it to the hungry dog sitting outside the shop. Poor thing looked hungry and he wouldn t have known how bad the food was, he d of just been happy to get a treat for once. Long story short - For a business that chooses to stay open late, they put absolutely no effort into their food. If last night represents what the food looks like during the day as well, I m not sure how they re still in business.

We stop in when we need a quick lunch that we eat while travelling to niagara. Its great when you need food on the go. The pizza is pretty good, the service is friendly and we enjoy the convenience of ready to go slices.

I have had pizzas from all over Canada but this destination of Gino s has to be the best! The pizzas are greatly sprinkled with cheese and they always have a crispy crust. The service is also awesome as the employees are super friendly and often keep me up with deals. Would recommend this place if you are looking for a convenient and affordable place to eat!

Sub-par pizza with trash customer service. Dont waste your time or money and if you do definitely dont use Uber eats. Uber wont let you cancel the order and Ginos wont edit / correct it once its submitted. Do yourself a favor and hit lucianis, if you want good pizza and service, never should gave this place a chance.

Disappointed : Sour Cheese Ruins Pizza I recently ordered a pizza from Gino s pizza, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While I usually enjoy their pizzas, this particular one left much to be desired. The first bite immediately struck me with an overwhelming sour taste, which was quite unusual for a pizza. Upon further examination, it became evident that the culprit was the cheese. It seemed to have gone bad, imparting an unpleasant sourness to the entire pizza. Despite the promising combination of toppings and a well-baked crust, the overpowering sour flavor overshadowed any other elements of the dish. It was difficult to enjoy the meal with such a strong and off-putting taste lingering with each bite. In conclusion, while I have had positive experiences in the past, this instance of a sour cheese ruining the pizza was highly disappointing. I hope they take steps to ensure the quality of their ingredients in the future to prevent such occurrences.

I bought Chicken Shawarma Poutine in a Buy one get one free offer, from Uber eats on 2024, March 27, 7.30pm. They basically split the quantity of one into two boxes, that too, without enough chicken!

I was looking for a quick dinner idea, and a pizza sounded ideal. I went online to check for specials and after finding what looked like the one, I clicked on the icon to order, but nothing happened. I tried a number of other ideas and found I was getting nowhere. The last resort was to call the order in, so I asked what the order came to. So I was told it was about $28, which seemed high, so I went back online and found they were charging $3 more to call in the order. Great scam by offering a deal, then making it impossible to order online so you end up paying full price anyway. I called back and was told it would be $28, and when I said I calculated it to be about $25. Thats when he told me thats if I ordered online, I was told it would still be $28, and I cancelled the order. A short arguement occurred because he had already put the pizza in the oven. Too bad I said, I hope you enjoy it. Well I was told he would send it at about $25. LOL, but when the driver came he asked for $28, and we told him thats not the agreed price. Bottom line is we won this time, but how many times have we been overcharged because we havent followed a pizza joints instructions to a t. I may be getting old but Im still a math wiz, so I am starting to check everything.

Ordered chicken swarma pizza in Indian style with chilli flakes and cilantro and asked if they could add swarma sauce at top as it ehances the flavour and they did . I did not see cilantro but may be they ran out of it . The pizza was fresh , hot and top notch. Thanks for adding that swarma sauce at top . Made my night with delicious dinner .

Won t ever go back here again changed my five star rating to a one star my wife and I ordered a party tray and ended up with a larger pizza and conveniently the teller could not provide me with a receipt and then ask me to see my bank account when I complained that this was the wrong Pizza. They told me that this is what my wife ordered and that it s her fault and then spoke about me in Hindi. Didn t offer me to make me a new pizza and fix the problem zero star service. This happened on Saturday, December 23 at approximately 5 o clock. I hope that the owner will investigate these issues if they want their business to survive.

Honestly, I would never recommend their pizza. I usually order chicken pizza from this store, chicken is never fresh, its always too hard as if they are using old frozen meat. I always get stomach ache after eating their pizzas. It has happened to me thrice in a row. Try exploring other good options for pizza. This would be a least recommended place.

This is the third time I have experienced this from the employees of this particular store first two times i just ignored it as i can understand that they were in rush or may be they were busy somehow but this time they just got into my nerves. I went there to pick up my order that i ordered directed by doordash and when I went there and told my name, they were not ready with the receipt and they seem confused. If you guys are confused, don t try to make a scene, I have paid full amount and not taking any free food so just stop acting like I owe you anything. Ive always liked Ginos Pizza. I order it a lot through Uber Eats. This location on Brant Street though...they really need some consistency with their food. Its different EVERY SINGLE TIME I order it. Its dripping in pizza sauce, theres an inch on cheese on it, the garlic bread is always different...different cheese etc. Its suppose to be same all the time and its not. It really effects the taste. If its dripping in sauce it doesnt taste good. This has been going on for as long as Ive been ordering from this location....2 years +. They need some quality control for sure.

The female who took our order was polite and helpful. Our pizza was prepared exactly the way we requested. We received it on time and it was perfectly hot when we brought it home. I am a dominos pizza fan, but Ginos pizza is more authentic in flavour and taste and the toppings taste better and their sizes are bigger than Dominos Parking: There is 18 parking spots shared by the stores in that building.

I can t speak for everyone s experience but this is one of the most consistent locations I ve found for pizza. I think this particular store offers great quality and they take what they do seriously. (Quick thanks to each staff member I ve dealt with to-date). I m sitting here enjoying their pizza so much I had to leave a review in the middle of my lunch. It is extremely unprofessional and VERY unacceptable to close 15 MINUTES before closing time, and refuse to take an order why are you open till 2am? You are opened till means YOU TAKE orders till and sell food otherwise if you want to close shop at 1:30 don t put open till 2 because you are NOT opened till 2 you are opened till 1:30 when you refuse to take a order at 1:43. Never eating here again or ordering food from here again, I went to pizza pizza and they took my order at 1:55am without any issues, they close at 2 so they take orders till 2, learn the business before you try to run one.

If I could give this place zero stars I definitely would. I decided to order a pizza for delivery and when I called and placed my order at 9:14 the lady told me 40-45 mins, I then called back at 10pm and the lady said that once the driver comes back then she will send my order, not to mention I couldn t understand her unfortunately. I politely asked to speak to someone else because I didn t understand why I would be waiting longer for 1large pizza. Then this rude man came on the phone and told me the driver was coming, I then asked if the pizza would be free since it was over 45 mins. He told me no and when I asked for his name and the store number he told me his name but said he couldn t tell me the stores number. After asking for the stores number multiple times he said he would call me back and hung up the phone. When I called back he didn t answer the phone I had to call from another phone and he answered. He then began to argue with me and all I was asking was for the stores number, once he finally gave me the number I hung up the phone and waited for my order which came at 10:15. I got my pizza cold and basically half way out the box. I will definitely be calling head office but I will NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

I went there for food pickup and there is one bald guy i dont know who he is and i think he dont know about word like excuse me, thanku he dont know how to tell anything to others, he should know how to speak instead of doing gestures in attitude

I usually like this place, despite the extremely unhygienic practices. I especially liked their poutine, but this time the treatment myself and my partner received was horrible, and so was the food. It was cold, tasted bad, and just entirely ruined my appetite. We were the first people in the building but the last to receive our single item order, even after another individual, who arrived after us, received several pizzas. We waited close to 20 minutes in the extremely unclean, hot, cramped, seating-less space for our single poutine. One would think they would fill orders as they come in; but being the only white people in the building and receiving our order last, despite ordering first, and receiving the food in the horrible state it was in, I now believe that this place is very racially biased; and I really dont like having to say that. I witnessed the individuals handling the food directly with un-gloved hands, (while also handling a cellphone the whole time), unclean and clearly very old tools (which were dropped on the very unclean floor), and there were insects everywhere; including all over their display pizzas. Ive had poor experiences with this establishment before, receiving undercooked pizza crust and rude treatment from the staff but today is definitely the last time I will be visiting. The food this time around was so inedible that I consider it a total waste of my money and wait time. I absolutely do NOT recommend purchasing any food from here, if you care about your health. With the state the inside of the building is in I have no idea how they are permitted to be serving food. Its actually gross.

ripped off. Was charged $90 for two squares after ordering over the phone while reading off online and ordering the $28 squares. After calling to find out what happened and why it was so much we were hung up on. And when i called back I was told I wasn t hung up on and in fact this is what I ordered. When it wasn t. Don t order from there unless you want to be ripped right off

Terrible pizza, and worst customer service ever. Filthy store that was just shut down by the public health inspector on August 22 2022. What a s@$t hole!!

Used to be good now its very hit and miss. Like sometimes the dough is bordering on undercooked and really chewey. Also theres been a few times where the slice isnt hot out of the oven. Its barley lukewarm, Pizza is best when its hot doubt I will be going back Kid-friendliness: Which kids dont like pizza?

I had order two veggie pizza last night . The pizza was over cooked and when we try to check the taste it was not even good because they don t spread pizza sauce proper on dough and the slices was dry . I had also call twice in store to talk with manager and I didn t get any reply from their employe .

Pizza was too dry, get pizza for big box pizza instead
