Never has slices before or after 4 (I know they never did after 4, doesn't make it less annoying) mid week or weekend. They say they sell out, well common sense says make more if you ALWAYS sell out. Will no longer be wasting my time trying-- the pizza hasn't been the same in a long time anyways. Marias ORIGINAL at least has the quality this place does not.
Staff were friendly over the phone and in person. Pizza was hot and delicious. The decor of the restaurant gives it an inviting and warm vibe. Large 3 topping pizza with 2 dips came to $25.95. 100% recommend and will go back.
We moved to town two years ago. I was looking for an ‘old school’ pizza place that had a dining area we could eat there. Maria’s came recommended to us several times and I was even more excited to find they are licensed and i could have a beer or two with dinner! Pizzas were perfect and EXTREMELY hot. Give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes to let them cool (or ‘rest’) before you indulge. They would definitely still be hot if they were delivered (even to us in the north end). Sauce actually tasted tomatoey, a good amount of cheese and the crust was what pizza crust should be. You didn’t need to chew it off like a dog and it wasn’t extremely thick. Definitely going to be our pizza place from now on. If you’re planning on dining in, the dining room is small with just a couple benches, and I’d recommend you phone your order in to help eliminate some of the wait time if they’re really busy (they can be on a Saturday night). Can’t wait to go again!!
Hi This is from last visit, i ordered early due to an upcoming work engagement. I was stuck on the call and had a slice of pizza. As you can see the crust was burnt and the bottom of the pizza as well. I called and was asked how burnt is burnt I said my mouth tasted like char. I was offered a $10.00 credit, i said well i guess i won't be calling back. The reply was great. She said Fine and HUNG UP.
Heard about Maria’s West over and over since moving to Brantford so decided to give it a try Being new and not knowing what to expect I went to the location to order a pizza. Upon arrival ordered and was told it would be an hour wait. That’s ok, it’s my fault not knowing and not realizing how busy they are. I think this restaurant has to be the busiest in Brantford. People in and out none stop . I suggest calling in at least an hour in advance The staff are extremely friendly and personable. As people came in to get their pizza they were greeted by name more times than not. While I waited they conversed when they could and kept following up on my order with the team in the back You know walking in it’s a local establishment. Family pictures and awards are hung with pride throughout Now for the pizza . We got a big square pizza . You can taste the “home made “ with their sauce and dough. The toppings were plentiful .It tasted good. My only issue was the dough in center of the pizza was “soft”,maybe a tad under cooked .it fell apart as we tried to pick it . That didn’t stop us from enjoying it with a fork ,knife. I will say for $50 you get your moneys worth That won’t stop us from ordering.Next time we are thinking of a regular round pizza

Maria's Pizza West - was in the area and dropped in for a slice. It was Good! They have a nice menu. I was there for lunch and this place was hopping Busy. Since 1968. A gem of a place, in Brantford ON. Good stuff :-) . Update, 2020Mar. - another visit to Maria's. GREAT PIZZA - tried a veggie slice this time. . Update 2021Mar. - visited again, in the area. Still wonderful pizza! Yum. So good.

Definitely the go to place for pizza, do not mix up Marias West with Downtown Marias, Downtown has gone down hill and is not the same at all as West, I gave Downtown 3 more chances and all 3 big fail and receives zero stars, Downtown crust thin over cooked, less amount of sauce and items, dont know what your gonna get just plain horrible but as for West the crust is thicker, fluffier, more sauce and items and is just awesome every time we order and the staff are great and friendly without attitude..
ordered Saturday night, the pizza was sloppy and the girl serving me was rude. Ive been there a few times hoping it would get better, but nothing has changed. Time to find a new pizza shop.

Im sure their pizza is good, but Ill be honest, Im in it for the flakeys!! Hands down the caramel is the best, but they are all excellent. Parking: Somewhat limited amount of spaces around the strip mall. Especially around lunch time or ice cream season.

We tried this Marias location when we moved to West Brant 10 years ago. Compared to other pizza options in the area , we found Marias to be middle of the road and had not returned since. We gave it another recent try, 1 SML and 1 MED with 3 topping on each. Our previous thoughts remained unchanged. We get a pizza perhaps once a month, and while Marias was okay, there are three other pizza options within a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk in the area that we find a bit better for both quality and value.

The original go to location has always been downtown but I tried the West Brant.Marias Pizza and got 6 meat balls. My gosh, they were nothing short of spectacular, big, , and ever so good.I also got 2 Cannolis, NEver hadvthem before but eating them was a huge mistake because I drive past the place at least 2 times daily, now I have to fight off pulling in. 6 lasted 3 meals.
We ordered 6 - 35 piece square pizzas last night for our wedding. all were so hot and delicious - it was a huge order and the staff did not disappoint

My Uncle Michael Yurczyszyn hasnt tasted original Marias Pizza for 47 years and what Unc wants, Unc gets! Angie Risi of Marias Pizza West, personally made both of his Pizzas and prepared them for shipping. We remembered Her family and happy tears & memories were shared. This family owned business went so far as to send 2 t-shirts with our gift to make the gift complete! Thank you Angie Risi and Marias West Pizza! I always stop and pick up a pizza from here whenever I am in town. Tonights pizza was the best pizza I had ever tasted. Yes Ive had pizza in Napoli and Rome and Marias pizza is the best. Thank you for being so consistent. Always so delicious. Cooked perfectly.
Delicious food! We always get a cheese pizza and the Nutella tarts. Only thing is sometimes the pizza crust isn t cooked enough. Staff are great & the home made garlic sauce is fantastic!

We were throwing a Christmas Eve party at our home for about 30 people. I asked Angie @ Marias West to help with the food. She put an amazing meal together for our party and there was leftovers! The lasagna was the best we ever had! And MW accommodated our friends dietary needs as well. The Cannolis were out of this world! Everything was perfect. Wife and I ordered pepperoni pie from here today and what a great experience it was ! As soon as you walk in you are treated by very kind workers! They make jokes and really make you feel welcomed. I got there when it was busy and the first thing that came out of the ladies mouth was I m so sorry for the wait ! Wow I was taken back never heard that from a restaurant. Anyways the pie was awesome and the estimated time was bang on ! I would even say it s the best pizza I ve had in brantford !! Next time we re gonna give the pasta a try! I don t see any reason why people will go to the other pizza spots on this side of town especially the one named. B_ _ B_X . The owner is a real prick and the whole staff has terrible customer service . please support good people who actually care about their product

One of my favourite spots around is the delicious Marias Pizza! ~$8 for a large slice and a half with a drink and dip, cant beat the price point. Pizza is made fresh every day, never frozen and the customer service is phenomenal! Im from Ottawa and havent had such quality pizza in a long time; you can tell the joint is family-owned and operated, the ambience is light-hearted, welcoming and invites the customer to return again and again. Big thanks to all the staff for fueling this guy so he can walk the city every day! See you soon
I mean how can you go wrong with 1-1/2 large sized slices of pillowy crust pizza, a can of pop, and a scrumptious Portuguese tart (these are hard to NOT purchase) for under $10? I even drove a pizza back to Hamilton one night just so my wife could try the pizza I d been raving about since I discovered it early this year.
No one answers there phones. Where is my pizza .oh were looking for a driver 2 hours ago I placed an order...Im sure when the founders of Maries would have gone our of their way for customers.

A couple of weeks ago, we had ordered a large pizza and when we got home we found it did not have the toppings that we had ordered. I sent them a message and they didnt hesitate to offer our next pizza free. Picked up our free pizza tonight and as usual, was awesome. Best pizza place.

Was a snowy blowy day and happened to be in Brantford, picked up a square and brought back so many delicious memories. Been a while since having a Marias pizza that was cooked to golden brown perfection. Service was wicked awesome, so friendly with smiles which really made my day!!!

Hands down! Absolutely THE Best Pizza ever. Taste the freshness in the sauce. Baked to the perfection. Not to mention her handmade meatballs spaghetti sauce and lasagna. They even have hand made cannolis June 2022 Went again this week. Definitely NOT let down. Staff are so friendly patient. We took home 2 spaghetti and meatballs plus another 6 pack of meatballs. I CANT EXPRESS enough the flavour and freshness. You can even have it as a take and bake. Next time I do believe I will be ordering Lasagna, Meatballs, Pizza AND Spaghetti with Meatballs!!!! #SATISFACTION #100% #MUST TRY

Best Pizza I have Ever eaten. I have been eating Marias Pizza since 1970. As a child it was exciting to drive in to pick up a Marias Pizza on a Saturday evening and eat it at Mohawk Park or take it back home and watch the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoy a Pizza. Thank You Marias, always Delicious.

Terrible customer service. We recently moved to Brantford and had Maria s once through take out, food was great. Attempted to walk-in and order, and the service I received was by far the worst I ve received in all of Brantford. I boast about how friendly everyone is here and I was not expecting to be left waiting at the till and then have the staff argue over who was going to help me and then have the person who help me treat me as if I was irritating them. I can understand if you stop serving food at a certain time, but you should turn your sign off, have a notice, or kindly let the customer know. I arrived 30mins before close and was turned away, how was I too know. Unfortunately, you have lost a customer forever. Customer service out weights quality sometimes.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression, and Maria s Pizza West nailed it. TL;DR: Superbly accommodating staff of special request led to an amazing experience. Will come again. 10/10. It was my first experience with Maria s Pizza West. I asked on the phone if they could accommodate a special request: a heart shaped pizza. Instantly it felt like they were on my side. They showed genuine willingness and care towards my request. When I arrived to the store, I spoke to the owner and learned a little about the deep history of the brand. When my heart pizza was ready (it looked amazing), the owner mentioned it would ruin the look to cut the pizza. Therefore, she let me borrow a pizza cutter to cut the pizza myself. This thoughtful accommodation was the cherry on top of an already positive experience. Because of the care Maria s Pizza West staff gave me, my event was even more special! I can t thank them enough. The pizza and pastries were delicious, and I will surely return if I m ever in the area! Service: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Price: 10/10 ($25 for large pizza, big pastry and 2 drinks)
Best pizza in West Brant. Always great tasting. The interior of Marias Pizza looks amazing. If decide to dine in enjoy your pizza with a cold beer! Marias also sells pizza by the slice and it always hot and fresh. They also have a variety specialty pizza slices available. The cannolis are to die for many different kinds to choose from and they sell there house made Caesar salad dressing which in my opinion is the best in town. I always get compliments on it when I serve it to my friends and take all the credit for it. The pasta is also very good. They sell it fresh and frozen and yes there is many varieties available!

Went for pizza half mushroom half not & they gave mine away - had one with full mushroom - said I m allergic and don t want that. Front of house staff asked the guys in the back if they could make one and coming on closing time seems like they didn t want to. Left. Won t be coming back again.
I tried it for the first time and was told half hour pickup wait time. Showed up, and the pizza has been sitting for at least 20 minutes, cold, and overall tasted okay but it was way too over hyped. Better pizza and price in the city in my opinion. Might try again. Might not.

The pizza here is excellent. I go regularly and try to time it for the slice of the day. They are always doing something new. There are salads, pastas, and bakery items available that are always a treat and if this covid stuff ever ends they are licanced. If you want a little extra treat on your slice ask for them to add pesto and parm to your pizza if you love pesto its the best. If ordering for a large event or work the pizza is sure to be a hit.
