Zaza delivers consistently amazing pizza - I moved to Brantford from Toronto and this is my favourite pizza place in the GTA. The hot oil is too much for me but other than that- highly recommend.

First time and we were impressed. My husband went in for takeout. We ordered two different types of pizza slices, chicken, fettuccine, sausage penne, Caesar salad. We were raving about each dish! We really like the flatter bread pizza and the more authentic flavoring. My husband was impressed with how very clean the restaurant was and how you can see them making your food. He said to the older lady behind the counter this was his first visit. And she said, Well, it won t be your last! . She knows it and she s exactly right! My husband was happy with the very large slices of pizza he received and the portions were good. Except that I always want more!! Lol I am used to creamy chicken fettuccine. But this was beautifully rich. The sausage has a lovely mild flavour in a lovely sauce in the sausage penne. And it s a great Caesar salad- very satisfying. Sometimes they can be a little bit skimpy on the Caesar sauce in other restaurants. This was perfect. Zaza is our new favorite. Of course, will be back! I could eat up the whole menu, it looks so good. Jumbo cheese ravioli is next! Also, this business is happy to take cash, which is nice. We felt we had very good value for what we paid. Great job Zaza!

Ordered two pizzas for take out, pepperoni pizza was great, loved it. Ordered mediterranean and it was okay, not the best. Wood fire char was so good though. Would go back.

Incredible family owned wood-fired pizzeria in Brantford.

Ive got a spicy take here, that wont be popular in Brantford. Im not a huge fan of the pizza itself. Its not terrible, just wasnt amazing for me...dont come for me folks! That being said, everyone HAS to try the pasta. Take out pasta from here is better than most fine Italian places Ive sat down and been served a meal at. Really cannot oversell how good this is, especially considering its take out. The hours are a bit odd for a pizza place, so we dont order from here as often as wed like, but I am not going to fault a business for carving out work life balance! Zazas is definitely one of the premier places in Brantford. Parking: Easy to get to and always spots to park in.

Ordered online. The site confirmed my order for pick up. I go to pick my order up and this place is closed! ON A SATURDAY! I dont usually order from here and it was a special night for us to order from here. Ive never seen a take out/fast food place closed for the weekend. Youd thing thats why they make the most money.

Its just great pizza. You taste it and you say God damn thats good. If youre like me, youre trying everything on the menu. Breaking any type of budget youve made for yourself. Not to mention your waist line, but some battles are worth the fight. I havent tried their pasta yet but I look forward to it.

When the pizza is cooked well, its one of the best pizza spots in the region. Crispy char, amazing sauce and cheese, and a fair price. Best of all, it doesnt have a quirky schedule or a pre-order policy like some of the popular places. The key is to get it well done. My first pie was perfection. The next one I ordered wasnt cooked enough. Despite that, the first one was so good that they deserve 5 stars.

Zazas is by far THE BEST pizza place in town! If you re from Brantford, or the surrounding area, you re probably lucky enough to already know this BUT have you tasted those mini pepperonis they now offer?! OMG they re delicious. Full stop. Maybe caught them on an off night because I have heard good things. Found the Pizza was pretty bland tasting not very much sauce on it and kind of dry was expecting better for the price and wood oven.

Friendly family takeout! Different from your ordinary food chains. Especially Pizza spots. Stone baked pizza, very tasty and not smothered in grease. Reasonably priced for not being a franchise! Staff is very friendly. The boys are always very kind. Highly recommend.

Expensive but I think the fettuccine Alfredo is awesome. The cinnamon buns they sell on the side sometimes are also very good.

Hands down the best authentic wood-oven Italian pizza outside of Italy. The grilled chicken Italian pizza and the four cheese pizza are to die for! The owner and staff are very accommodating and kind. Great place to eat!

*update* Since this review we have ordered numerous times. We feel this was an isolated occasion, because the pizza has been top shelf since that one time. It is the real deal. Must try pie. Can only give this place a 3 unfortunately. I will certainly say the first time we ordered from here it was impressive, very well done crust and toppings. Order again to be completely let down by a floppy crust and scarce toppings...Consistency is everything. Overall 3.

You want to know how good this pizza is? I once went hiking up north and got myself lost for 48 hours. I ran out of food and water. I didnt pack much because I was only planning on a 1hr hike. It took a search and rescue team 24hrs to find me. When they did find me I was passed out in a hollow tree log trying to stay warm and out of the rain. The paramedics said I was severely dehydrated and suffering from advanced stage hypothermia. I was reunited with my family at the park ranger station and everyone was thanking God that I was alive. But I know it wasnt God who helped me survive over those two days. It was thinking about getting my hands on more delicious large Potato Bacon pizza from ZaZas that kept me from the grim reapers icy grip. This pizza saved my life. Thats how good the pizza from Zazas is.

Great pizza. My boyfriend s family is from Windsor and he is very picky when it comes to pizza. Though it s his favourite food and he will eat whatever pizza is available, he has always admitted that no pizza around here compares to his favourite pizza shop in Windsor. That is until we tried Zazas for the first time. He now says that Zaza s might be even better than his previous favourite. I m not a huge pizza fan, however, I can admit that the pizza here is very well made and flavourful. I highly recommend if you are like my boyfriend and are a very tough pizza critic.

I am a big pizza fan and this is the BEST pizza in Brantford. They took their inspiration from a few different styles and make great food. It is family run, so you know it is consistent every time. They have never made a bad pizza for me. Highly recommend!

Best pizza Ive tried in close proximity... Hamilton, Brantford, Burlington, etc. Quality ingredients and cooked thin and slightly crispy. Friendly folks. I make a 20min drive just to get this pizza once a week.

Im not really a fan of pizza because I usually feel gross after I eat it,but I was hungry and Zazas was there so I tried it. The pizza was fantastic. Fresh proper toppings , homemade sauce cooked in a wood oven. I ate the entire pizza myself and I NEVER do that. Went back and tried the pasta and it was equally delicious and very reasonably priced Highly recommend. You wont be disappointed.

Zazas Pizzaria is one of the best pizza restaurants! We ordered a meat lovers pizza and riccota filled ravioli. Im an extremely picky eater, and I have never had any pasta dishes from a restaurant that I was satisfied with until tonight. Zazas have the best ravioli by far. Hands-down, the best pizza in town. I love the way they do the pepperoni, its sliced up into strips for maximum pepperoni per bite. Every aspect of the pizza (sauce, crust, toppings) is a 10/10. The best pizza in Brantford. You can taste everything on the pizza. Pepperoni is cut in strips and it is a very good type. Wood oven crust is great. The owners are always so nice. Never rude. Mamas meatballs and sauce are excellent.

I came across this place during a recent detour through Brantford, and when I saw the sign indicating wood-fired pizza, I knew I needed to check it out. My favorite style of pizza is thin crust from a wood fired brick oven (I.e. the kind invented in Naples, and perfected throughout Italy). I can confirm that Zazas does make delicious pizza in an authentic wood fired pizza oven. There are no propane or electric backup burners (unlike many other wood fired pizza spots around Southern Ontario), and kudos for the good selection of authentic toppings (prosciutto, artichoke hearts, etc). So why only 4 stars you might ask? It was a judgement call, and it is based on 2 observations. #1 - when I eat thin crust pizza, my expectation is that it is 1 pizza per person. At Zaza, it is thin crust, but their pizzas are more North American style - 1 pizza for many people. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just not my preferred style. #2 - and I would this one is more impact full than the previous point - is their choice of cheese. A Margherita pizza is sauce, basil, and (ideally) Buffalo milk mozzarella, OR more commonly, boconcini cheese. Zaza used what I would consider typical shredded pizza cheese, which, in my opinion, detracted from what was otherwise a very good pizza. To be clear, their pizza is definitely top notch, and better than 90% of the competition. They know how to make their dough, and they know how to cook their pizza properly. That is the foundation for any pizza spot, and these guys nailed it. In my opinion, with a few tweaks, in terms of pizza sizing and cheese selection, these guys could really take the Brantford pizza landscape to the next level! I will definitely eat here again. Good food. Reasonable pricing. And extra points for selling rolling papers lol!

Sooooo good wood fire pizza

Zaza s pizza is one of the best pizza places. We order from them regularly and they are always so accommodating. The ingredients on the pizza are always so fresh and they have a variety of delicious pizzas to choose from. Their dough is super thin and crunchy which is one of the best parts. My son has a dairy allergy so they always make sure to leave cheese off half the pizza for him. The owners are so nice and helpful, I love this family run business.

No one in town knows how to make a true Italian pie like these guys. Super authentic. Can watch them preparing the food and cooking with an actual wood oven! Amazing toppings you cant find anywhere else. Family owned, it shows.

Wasnt very flavorful. Horrible the next day. I like the different style offered compared to other typical pizza joints but the flavor or lack of just doesnt justify me eating here again.

Very good, my first time there and I love the fact that they use real bacon. The staff is friendly and the sauce is really good too. Fresh ingredients and the old style pizza ovens seem to make a difference in flavour. I like their thin crust....its a nice Italian style experience

First time coming not knowing what to expect, not going to lie, it was a little pricey but was not disappointed. The panzerottis were amazing, with stuffed crusts, sauce on the side which was also amazing. well be back for sure.

Great food but a bit pricy. The family is great to chat with as well. One of the best pasta places around.

We love to get our pizzas from zazas. It is a total hit at home with the kids and adults alike! Flavourful and yummy!
