We had dinner here on a Saturday evening. Despite the restaurant being full and having a lot of reservations booked, we were seated quickly. Our server Adam was absolutely fantastic and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was phenomenal. We both had surf and turf and the steak, to our surprise, was steakhouse quality, cooked to perfection with good portions for the sides. We will definitely be returning!

We chose to eat at Piper Arms for their $38/plate American Thanksgiving special, wanting a special outing for American Thanksgiving. The food was _awful_. We had to leave part-way through the three-course meal. The "Texas Meatballs" appetizer (priced at $14) was partially microwaved frozen spaghetti meatballs (still cold in the middle). The mashed potatoes were similarly cold instant potatoes. The clam chowder ($8) was clearly from a can. We (unfortunately) decided to stick around for the main course, hoping the appetizer was a fluke. It was not. The main turkey dinner was similarly cold and tasted like a frozen dinner. At this point we cut our losses and asked to leave early. We were charged $40 for the two appetizers, a kids meal spaghetti, and part of our uneaten main course. We then went to Pita Pit and had a much more satisfying meal for half the price. For context, we are not usually picky or confrontational people when it comes to restaurants. This is the first time we've ever not been able to stomach the food and asked to leave early. Our server was very kind and understanding. The bathrooms were dirty and smelly. Perhaps this was a fluke? To be fair, we were eating early in the evening (5 PM) and chose to eat a one-day-only special. Needless to say, we will not be repeat customers! Update: I responded to the owner below (at [email protected]) and never received a reply.

Amazing to say the least. I have been to the Kitchener location numerous times, but today was my first time at the brantford location. Absolutely incredible food. The same pasta I’ve been eating for awhile now taste a million times better at this location. Amazing customer service also. Will be back.
A great experience tonight. From the food, service and atmosphere. We didn't wait long for anything (many reviews have mentioned wait times) and our server was right on top of drinks and food. All of our portion sizes were so good, we all took leftovers home. It was my first time visiting and I'll be back again soon. Thanks for making my mom's mother's day fantastic. She had a great time. Food was good. We stopped in for lunch and the portions were huge for the price. Server was friendly and quick. We had ruban sandwich with fries and gravy and chicken shish kabob with rice and salad. Food was cooked well and came in a timely manner. Drinks were refilled fast as well. We have only been there once but will likely go back.
We were looking for a new place to try last night and kept seeing this place pop up on my social media. We were a little skeptical about such a large menu at first, but this place definitely did not disappoint! Quite a selection of different foods! We were a little indecisive and trying to narrow down what we wanted to eat. The knowledgeable server made a few suggestions of things he really liked himself. We started with the sweet chili chicken, and curried mussels. I went with the Yorkie and Creole pasta, my gf had the Madras Seafood pasta for mains. Aside from a couple minor imperfections the food was great! We lucked out and caught their Monday app and pasta specials, which we felt was a great value! Really good bang for your buck here, good food, and good portions. Will definitely be back to try out some more of the menu.
Employee named karthik behave rude with delivery drivers. I would like to draw an attention of management to take action on him. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
Popped in for a breakfast after a night out. Our server, Adam, was so friendly and accommodating about my somewhat annoying requests. The food was excellent. We shared the this and that platter and butter chicken poutine. We had a lovely first experience and will definitely be back!

Food was pretty good. Blonde waitress with the blue nails was dismissive. Never came back to ask us if we wanted another drink after our meals came, or during our dining. My tip reflected her attitude. I think she is in the wrong industry. Customer service defo not her forte. Talk about making us feel like we were an inconvenience.....wow.

Food tasted good and the place is nice. My big complaint is my girlfriend ordered a single serving of chicken fajitas and I ordered a double steak serving. Hers had more chicken than my steak. I paid twice the amount. I had 7 tortillas and had 11 slices of steak. We did ask and confirm it was a double serving but to me thats not enough.

Its an old Boston pizza... still looks like a Boston pizza. They havent done anything to give it a pub feel. Food was clearly frozen, not fresh... ordered fish and chips. Fish was barely warm, and fries were hot. My husband and I typically stay away from chains, but we hadnt eaten all day and it was close to hotel after checking in. Nothing special about this place. Service was good and server was lovely. The TVs at the bar side were very loud. Wouldnt go back.

I m from Toronto but have family in Brantford. This is our go to spot to meet for dinner and have never been disappointed. There is such a wide variety of food options that everyone will find something they enjoy. Prices are beyond reasonable and quality of the food is amazing. Our favourite is the stuffed Yorkshire, such a comforting and filling meal. Our server Adam was very attentive and friendly. Will be visiting again soon!

Im sorry but 1st time being there and not a great experience. I ordered the curry seafood fettuccine. It took forever to arrive and when it did it was cold and been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time because the lobster tail was hard and dried out. The fettuccine was also crusty and dried on the top. For $24 plus tax and tip was not worth it. Also the waitress did not ask us if we would like another cocktail after sitting empty for a very long time.

We went with family for a birthday dinner. The menu is quite expansive, the servings were huge and we all thought everything from the appetizers to the main course and kids meals were delicious. It was quite busy, but the service was great, and the meal prices were very reasonable. We ll be back.
Decided to try something new, tried this place last night. Would not recommend, sat for 10-15 minutes before we even got asked about drinks. Food came out under cooked and dry. They gave me a new one, but it took quite a while. Server was mostly non existent, but very friendly when she was there. Desert menu was out of date, and they mixed up the bill added an extra item. They do however make very good fries.

BOGO!!!!! ..I was out and close by so I choose pick up,I gotvto piper arms a but early..they had drink specials, do i ordered a drink , then good came a few mins early...I ended up eating inside! Food was overall pretty good! Butter chicken wontons are unreal. Options for either breaded, or non breaded wings! 2 out of 3 of the flavours I tried were great, however, I would not recommend the jerk sauce. Lemon pepper was perfect though

One of the best food establishments.By comparison Zanders is too expensive.Angels food is very good,but not the quality served at Piper Arms.Wimpys expensive,but the food quality doesnt compare. The staff are well trained and very personable. We will definitely be coming here for our dining experience. My wife and I wish to thank the staff for their professionalism. Service is as expected and the atmosphere is good. The only thing is the food. The only thing was that there should be more chips/bread for the spinach dip. They give a giant bowl and like 10 chips. Other than that it was an awesome time

Got the Lobster Lovers which is reasonably priced and tasted great but you can have the best food in the world and the experience will still suck if the front of house staff just stares at you when you walk in. No greeting and an uncertainty about where they re gonna seat you is off putting. We don t need any more people in this city s restaurants who don t even greet you when you walk in the door. It s gross. My server was excellent; unfortunately I can t remember her name, but the section was very dirty. It was after 8 at night so taking some time to quickly sweep up the receipts and food all over the floor should be top priority. First impressions matter.

tonights service was not great. Ive been in the past and had much better experiences. Thankfully I dont have a seafood allergy, as my shame of a spaghetti and meatballs arrived less than 10 mins after my appetizer, which I might add the quesadillas are quite delicious! only to find a huge piece of fish or seafood of some sort mixed in with my very bland marinara drenched pasta. the waitress just kept giving a somewhat disingenuous apology yeah Im really sorry about that overall sad to say I was less than impressed. however the quesadillas were delicious and filling.
So I just ordered the classic burger with the poutine from them hands down one of the best burgers Ive tasted by far it was juicy it was succulent and the staff was excellent since I ordered it at home Id asked to have the condiments put on the side rather than on the burger which they did and they were just really sweet they called back and double check that they were getting everything right I love the customer service it was the best experience I have had at a burger joint so far hands down the best food too its a definite go to people out there that love burgers and poutine and fries great place to go

I ordered spinach dip for takeout and the whole experience was bad. I waited 30 mins for my food to be ready, if not more- and when i got it, it was cold. The pitas were dry, stale and very cold- gross. The actual dip was cold and literally had shredded cheese, unmelted on the top. I just wouldn t order again when there are so many better places so close.

A lot of factors that point out the place is really entertaining. Enjoyable, and modern setting with the cubicles and big screen TVs. The food was delivered without much waiting. My ordered liver and onions came in a good size. Id give it a 4/5 with some improvements for flavour,but still highly enjoyable. Maybe its just my pallet. Not too crowded and the servers deserve their credit for how they move around. Overall happy and would go back again for fun occasions.

Decided to try a new place for my husband s birthday dinner. We were blown away by our server Tamara, she was fantastic. All of the food was delicious and our kids both enjoyed their meals as well. Prices were fair too! We all had such a great meal we can t wait to go back.

My wife and I have been here a few times. Our past experiences are ok. Food is nothing to write home about but its cheap compared to other restaurants. Not saying the food is bad its ok. Tonight my wife and I dined at Piper Arms in Brantford and it was a bit of a disaster for my wife. She got some big salad that was supposed to have quinoa. My wife just assumed it was on the bottom so ate half her salad before she realized there wasnt any. We reported it to our server and he took her plate to the kitchen for them to look at as he said. When he came back there was about a half ton of quinoa dumped on the top. My wife ate some as she figured she had no choice. When the waiter came back for us to pay the bill my wife calmly voiced her displeasure for the meal. The waiter then engaged and escalated an argument, which he ended with well I just work here. I felt the waiter did not advocate for her very well and his demeanor and comments were completely unprofessional. The way the mistake with the meal was rectified was also unprofessional. We likely wont be back. To the owner of Piper arms. Dont bother replying with Please contact us about this matter. From other reviews Ive read you dont really mean it and wont respond in private.

So we actually travel out of town to visit piper arms...and we visited Saturday and was again a good experience....but I keep missing out on the potato leek soup, so I believe the manager mentioned that he would have it for Sunday....so we came back( from London ) and was worth it. Soup was delicious and the prime rib dinner was perfect. We enjoy sitting at the bar and our servers Tessa and Tamara were awesome. Again I highly recommend...

Place is great little gem in brantford!
It was ok, had chicken Cesar wraps and there was just way way too much chicken. It was all chicken and like 2 lettuce. If the ratio was better I would have enjoyed it more. Also had the butter chicken wontons - they were more like samosas, they were pretty good. Overall it s ok, it s cheap so like expect that with the food too.

There was an issue with one of our meals (wasn t our servers fault but kitchen) she was able to make the situation right and she did this while being super professional. Everyone was very welcoming. The bar tender was attentive. I ordered a mojito and she came to check how it was. The food was hot, cooked the way I asked and the bill wasnt too bad. The only complaint is that when people smoked outside the doors, the smell blew into the entire restaurant.

Won was awesome, and drinks are so good!
I have visited this location a couple times since opening. The food is decent for the price if you order based on the daily specials. The best thing they have going for them is the half priced apps. Unfortunately I decided to drive to the location this evening to take advantage of the late night special. The Google hours say that this location is open until 12 pm. I pulled into the parking lot at 11:05pm to find the doors locked and all the chair stacked on tables. The lights and TVs were on. I drove 40 minutes to grab a bite to eat quickly since there is no late night eats in my town. They should update their dine in hours online and THE HOURS POSTED ON THE DOOR SAYING THEY ARE OPEN UNTIL 12AM or refrain from locking the door an hour early to divert customers. Especially customers traveling long distances.
Great value for the money! The authentic chicken curry was delicious. Great lunch meeting spot.

Ben was amazing! Great service, great food, didnt have to wait long at all on a saturday night. Our server recommended our app and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
Would rate zero if I could. They treat you like garbage, especially if you ask to move tables. They cancel your order if you go outside for 5 minutes because the smell was awful ( don t go on surf and turf night the smell of fish is overwhelming). The server did nothing but give me dirty looks the whole time. The pasta was dry as a bone, the sauce was gross. The gravy was watery. They charge you for salad dressing when they put basically none on the lettuce. Then to top it off within 15 minutes of leaving I was violently sick well driving. NEVER EVER WILL GO BACK.

What a Great Afternoon!! Talk about customer appreciation!! These guys hit it out of the park!! Unbelievable BBQ. Steaks, salmon, ribs, souvlaki, burgers, hot dogs. Plus all the fixings to go with it. Im sure Im forgetting to mention some of the absolutely fabulous food too. Not to mention the Awesome prizes given away! A DJ with great Music,fun photo shoot and all on a Football Sunday!! A HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff! From the cooks who did an Awesome job, the servers who ran around keeping everyone happy, and the people who helped prep and clean up. Plus.... the Management who organized and put off this AMAZING event! Hats off to you all! If you havent yet tried this establishment. Its definitely a must! They always aim to please, and I for one have yet to be disappointed! Already looking forward to my next visit there! See you soon ! Cheers!
We enjoy our food the beers were nice and cold. Rachel service was fast and she was friendly. We will come back for sure. Dietary restrictions: My wife has a gluten allergy, we like how they have a few good options.

We went in for my son s 5th birthday and was served by Emma! She was absolutely wonderful and so kind! Thank you to Emma for making our son s birthday an awesome one! Plus the braised beef nachos are unreal!

Had the steak & mushroom pie. I enjoyed it. The beef was tender. The only problem we had was that the 7 year old with us got the spaghetti from the kids menu. The sauce had large chunks of onion which the kid didnt like. Kids are picky eaters, the sauce should be simple, and not the same sauce used for the regular menu spaghetti dish
The wings on wing night is great but the service is better. Jackie was great and Erin was as well, you never can go wrong coming here.
