Ordered an 8 piece chicken finger meal with an upgrade to poutine, order came without poutine and the chicken fingers were so dry and over cooked! Would not recommend

Ive not been to Broasters in awhile and today I was in the area and went in for a dinner to take home. I got 2pc dark meat with fries and it included the very best coleslaw ever !!! The meal was hot, fresh (not sitting on a warmer) and tasty !! It will become my favourite again ... such wonderful food , great people /owners - very polite and they have created such a welcoming feeling when you open the door. Give them a try the next time you crave fried chicken . Truly, support local.. this local shop is truly awesome. A bit more choices than I remember - Jerk Chicken, plus more - check the website . Parking: There is parking right in front of their door. Being in a strip type mall, there is no worry about getting a parking spot. This shop is located at corner of Dunsdon and Brantwood Park Road, at the end o the end of the mall closest to Dunsdon Street

Best fried chicken in Brantford hands down . We moved across town and lost touch with this place. They moved from where they were when I lived in that part of town. Now that I found them again I will make the trip across the city to get the yummy fried chicken. Planning on trying their jerk chicken also.

Tried 2 pieces of fried chicken and 1lb of wings. Chicken pieces were perfectly crispy and the wings were just right with a good amount of sauce. Owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome.

I love this place, I never asked, but it feels like a mom and pop shop. Just walk in and see what I mean. Its an experience the feal hits you right away. Support them and try the peas and rice, best value for your dollar in Brantford. A hole in the wall worth visiting, ask for the special on Tuesday youll be glad you did . Just watch them work it fused to sole they are naturals, real honest people. Thank you, great price, tastes good, and a getaway when you need one. Im surprised they arent busier. Always greated well even when they arent open they ask when you drive up if they notice you what your order is. Tried Broasters for the first time. I had the 5 piece chicken dinner with fries, and a pound of wings. Was I ever shocked, their food was amazing and the portions were great. Good bang for your buck. I definitely found my new go too chicken spot.

This is the only place in town that Ill order stewed chicken, oxtail etc. from. Ive tried most in town and nothing is as close to the real deal as here. The oxtail and curry anything is so delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Love a good dinner from here.

I ordered a 15 piece all dark meat and the fact it cost $35 wasn t the issue the fact that most of it was chicken wing drums was awful and so dry, I ve had it before and was satisfied, I will never have that chicken again, it was a total turn off.

Last week was the first time I ve ever went to Broasters, a couple people told me to try it out, so figured I would. The food was extremely spicy, even for jerk chicken. I have tried almost every place in brantford now, rice and peas was dry, coleslaw tasted like it was pure vinegar. The lady who served me was cold and not very friendly, didn t even smile back at me, it looked like she was pissed right off both times when I went to order and then came back to get my food. Not sure which was worse the food, or the customer service. Definitely won t be coming back here nor would I recommend to anyone. **Edit** and then the owner replied back with Thanks for your one time support Sorry food wasnt to your liking and you didnt get a smile she was smiling on the inside.. .. doesn t try to correct any concerns or issues and actually stands up for his rude employees. No wonder the customer service is bad, the owner isn t any better.

This chicken is better than KFC I didnt find it greasy. The fries were crispy and fluffy inside. We would definitely return.

This place has THE BEST fried chicken, hands down!! Our usual place to get fried chicken was KFC and pay an arm and a leg for subpar grub...none can compare to Broasters since we discovered this hole-in-the-wall gem (I say that lovingly!). Large pieces of chicken that is nicely well seasoned and juicy, they dont scrimp on the sides, and the coleslaw is amazing too. I paid $58.75 for a 20 piece bucket, 2 large onion ring boxes, and 2 large coleslaws...this would have been close to $100 at Kentucky Fried Grease. Put the chicken in the air fryer the next day and it tastes as fresh and delicious as the day before :)

Great people run this place. You know your at the right spot when you hear them great everyone on a first name basis. Jerk Chicken / Chicken Roti / Chicken Soup is amazing! Worth the 20 minute drive over on Fridays .

The BEST FRIED CHICKEN. I drive from Hamilton to get it at least once a month. I dont know what their secret recipe is but they have it on lock. Yes there are fancier fried chicken places in the Hammer, but on price and mind-blowing melt in your mouth flavour, youll be racking your brain on why does this simple fried chicken tastes SO GOOD!? Their coleslaw pairs perfectly and their fries still taste awesome even non-crispy due to the drive. Fair warning: Take-out only, call ahead, open only 4 hours and they get busy. Dont forget your thermal bag & Serve with a wedge of lemon , trust.

First time trying their food, we had curry chicken jerk chicken and oxtails. All of them were yummy. And most importantly their rice was cooked perfectly. Can t wait to come back for their fried chicken.

This is the worst fried chicken I ever had. I came in the night and ordered a 20 pc meal, when I got home the chicken was full of oil and cold and I was missing 2 Pieces. Also the fries where cold as well and over cooked, for the very high price I paid I was totally unhappy with the order, I tried to call back but they were closed.. This place must be run by packies that have no idea what they are doing I WANT A FULL MEAL REPLACEMENT FOR FREE IF I EVER DECIDE TO GIVE YOUR RESTAURANT ANOTHER CHANCE

I went in and order from here on Friday I got 5 pieces of chicken and 1lb honey garlic wings the wings I didn t really like but my children did because it was sweet ..but the chicken it self was good very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside could use a bit more seasoning but overall it was goood I would definitely go back

Awesome chicken

I was recommended by a couple friends to give Broasters a try. So I decided to go earlier today and order some food and man, I must say I was impressed. The ox tail was phenomenal, as was the fried chicken. Im somewhat disappointed in myself for only finding out about this gem recently. You can count me in as a customer for life.

Best chicken in town

Bought their fried chicken with a side of fries and gravy. The gravy was so delicious and the chicken was crispy even after a day in the fridge. So so good. The price is really good too and they were accommodating to pick up 10 minutes after we ordered. Pay attention to their timings though as they are not open in the day and are closed on mondays. Definitely recommend over the more famous places like kfc or popeyes or whatever.

I rarely comment on a Fast Food facility. Broasters chicken was just Okay. The bad part is, I pre-ordered and showed up on time. Stepping into a not very nice pick up area, no one spoke to me for 7-8 minutes. Once I peaked around the cash register, a couple of time, some said I will be right with you. Barely glanced at me. She went about her business, then spoke to another worker, who then indicated it would be another 10 minutes. I said thanks and left a very small uninviting area for the comfort of my Covid Free car. I waited the 10 and then went back in. More if the same and another 10. Totally NOT Worth it! The Colonel, here I come!!!!

I was so angry because google lost my last post so I had to retype everything!Yep best fish and chips, also double the post COVID portions as joeys and the Walmart plaza shops. I have been a customer for over a decade the food is great. This is a proudly owned mom and pop shop! The food is good and so are the prices.my son was a vegetarian this was the very first chicken he ate and he loved it. Now he is big and strong. My daughter like all skinny girls is a fussy eater she also loves Broster chicken. Good conversations and yeah they do get busy like all good restaurants but worth the wait. My only idea for improvement is that they make the menu boards and prices more readable on the home page website. Keep going you two, the whole community loves you b9th!

Simply one of the best fried chicken hands down. The batter is light and crispy while the chicken is juicy. The fries could use a touch more salt and golden crisps, but lets be real. Youre here for the chicken and best of all its affordable. Broasters has mastered the art of fried chicken.

Honestly don t know how they are making profit here. The chicken tastes fairly good but the shocking thing is the portion you get for your price. I wish I am closer and have more chances to come here. Never knew I could spent below 5 bucks per meal before. You guys are doing a fantastic job, keep it up!!!!

Great value. Good quality. Youre not gonna lose weight eating here, but youll enjoy it. Chicken and rings were great, coleslaw has a sweet dressing. Wouldnt get the DF pickles again, taste like they were from a freezer aisle, not up to the standards of the rest of the food, although cool that they were an option

Really feeling the Broasters! Crispy, juicy, flavourful! Everything you want from a broasted fried chicken, but is also a really good deal too! Onion rings are also delicious. For some reason its even more delicious the next day cold, right out of the fridge. Depending on where you live, it could be worth the drive. Closed on Sundays (for now)

We had the Tuesday special. 2 pieces of chicken and fries for $3.49. One of thr dinners had a smaller piece of chicken so without so without asking they added a 3rd piece. Tons of well cooked fries.

Best fried chicken and Jerk chicken in town. The fried chicken is easily a notch up from KFC but without being soaked in oil. Try the homemade coleslaw its great as is, similar to my Grandmas which is why I buy a little extra and add in some celery seed. Let it sit in fridge overnight and fantastic the next day. In comparison here is an honest review of one or your completion I reviewed (Mary Browns Fried whatever: Its overpriced and less grease impregnated than KFC but a blemish compared to the price and quality of Broasters on Brantwood Park beside Frankies Bar. I received no compensation for my genuine recommendation and no animals except for certain delicious chickens were harmed

Friendly staff, quick service, outstanding fried chicken. The best Ive had eating out, ever. This was our first experience eating fried chicken here and it did not disappoint. The spices are fresh, chicken is meaty and skin is crispy and delicious, even after the 15 or 20 minutes it took to being it home and get the family together to eat. The only thing it could do better is maybe add fresh cut fries to the menu, but they probably dont have time or space. The place was hopping tonight. Compliments to the chef!

This is the best chicken youre getting in Brantford and probably anywhere within a 45 minute drive. Places like KFC or Popeyes cannot compare. This stuff is delicious, super crispy outside and moist inside and the value is amazing! They sell out often so get your order in early - and if theres a line, its worth the wait!

Normally Ive had good experiences here with the roti and chicken dinners but unfortunately this last time I purchased the chicken roti I was not happy at all with the quality. It seems like they are starting to use either left over or lower quality chicken. Im used to white chicken breast looking chicken in my roti which they used to have but this last time the chicken was dark, overcooked, or cooked more then once, and I even thought it was beef for a moment. Did not taste right and I even found a sharp bone inside it was also fatty! I will not only not be ordering roti from these jokers anymore I wont be ordering anything. One good way to lose customers; lower your chicken standards. Just because its inside the roti doesnt mean I wont notice. I have a picture I will be posting in discust. Almost didnt finish it once I saw how dark the chicken was. If thats even what type of meat it was.

Delicious fried and jerk chicken if you are lucky enough to go when they are open. Ive often gone based on their posted hours, only to realize that they are closed, and they also dont pick up their phone if you call ahead to check. Still delicious food and kind staff!

Very light coating on the chicken and not too greasy at all.... well be back again, no question. Cash only and the coleslaw is a little sweet but nicely done for sure, very reasonable price!

Great food. Friendly staff but the level of professionalism of the business is very poor. They basically open and close, and answer their phone or not on their own decision. It said they open for lunch at 2pm(who eats lunch at 2pm?). I called multiple times at 2:15pm, nobody answers the phone. I arrived there at 2:30pm. Someone is there preparing to open the restaurant. I asked as to why nobody answers the phone. Her simple response was it becomes too hectic and confusing with the orders. She said she did that before and it made the customer angry. lol.... She just made that stuff on the spot. Again, great food. Chicken is great but the staff/owners level of professionalism is what will steer me away from this business. I would rather drive further down the street/road for KFC or Popeyes than buy chicken from them again.

Not often do you find great food, value, cleanliness and fantastic customer service all rolled into one. The chicken outshines any major franchise around. Its made to order, crispy and no pools of hot grease. The coleslaw is to die for as are their fries. In all sincerity this establishment is a gem worth taking notice of.
