Service is a joke here, & no exaggeration every time ive gone here, EVERY TIME they try to sneak a mistake on the bill to get more $$/tip it s kind of sad.

Meal was simple and delicious. However I go back for the service. Always excellent. Thanks Mathew for the great service.

I love the vibe here, friendly come with family or just just freinds. Always find something good on the menu.

My grandfather found a couple hairs in his hamburger, the fries where a little bit over cooked, it took my family like 15 min just to get seated but either then that it was decent I guess

Steak was like leather

I visited on a Thursday with the family. The patio was closed, so we dined in the restaurant. The staff was very polite and made sure everyone followed proper mask and hand sanitizing rules on entry. I had tacos and my wife had a chicken sandwich. Everything came very quick and was cooked perfectly. The kids enjoyed the chicken fingers and pizza. We thought the kinder egg with the kids meal was a great idea. We will definitely be returning, even if it is just to order for take away.

Friendly staff, great food and great atmosphere.. allows willing to listen and pull up old menu items to accommodate all asks.. Kid-friendliness: Always treat kids as a person and makes them feel welcome..

Great sports bar to grab some food! Tuesday nights are my favourite time to go. Cheap wings, cheap appies!

Was sat and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and nothing. Several waitresses walked by us and still no service. When leaving we told the hostess we ve leaving due to no service after 10 minutes were simply told okay . definitely will not be coming back.

Went there to watch the leafs game and as soon as we arrived our waitress was almost annoyed we were there. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and food, sat there to watch the leafs game like everyone else on the bar side. Everytime we would order another drink our server rolled her eyes or made a disgusted face, even yelled ugh can t hear you . We thought maybe she was just having a rough night.. but seemed to be smiley and kind to the other booths next to us? When we got our bills she came back in a hough and angrily threw the mints on the table.. maybe because we re younger she thought we wouldn t tip?? We did anyway after the rude service. Every other server we ve had there has always been pleasant.

Went to Crabby Joes Branford the girl messed up our order obviously she thought it was someone elses fault not hers then began to mope around took forever to get ketchup took forever to get another glass of water never offered my wife another cup of coffee, some people should never be waitresses, food always good first time Ive ever received bad service

The service was amazing. The hostess was very much dismissive to the fact that we had a reservation. This caused a wee bit of confusion for the other part of our group. There was a VERY nasty customer but the staff pulled together to help the waitress. Our waitress was amazing, food was incredible.

Sat at the bar to watch hockey with some beers. Although quite busy (Friday Dinnertime), the bartenders were constantly attentive to our needs, making sure we didnt wait in between finishing one drink and ordering another. Great service, good atmosphere. Service

Slow service to get seated and even slower to get a menu and be asked if i wanted a drink. Food took a long time coming and was not asked regarding a second drink. Getting the bill and paying ws also a slow process. And it was not busy at the time.

Tuesday night wing deal is the best in town. After going weekly for a while the service gets even better as the staff gets to know you.

This place was good in the past. Last we went, I wasnt impressed. Ordered their rib and wing dinner. Ribs were suppose to be a half rack, but ended up half of that. Also ordered sauce on the side instead of mixed with wings .. they charged me for that. Ill give them one more try and see.

We go here frequently for half price apps and wing night and it is always amazing! Last night was no different! We had issues at chucks so we took our business here. Denise has been our waitress a couple of times now and she is absolutely amazing! I have never had a waitress more attentive or positive. Crabbys is lucky to have her. Check this place out on Tuesdays for wing night or every night after 9 for half price apps!

Nice place with good food. Hostess was not very pleasant, but the waitress was delightful. Food was very tasty but the amount of sauce in the chicken bowl was excessive.

The service was good. The food was excellent. I had the Avacado Peanut salad (it was called something like that). It was amazing, I didnt expect it to be so good. And it was actually a little spicy, something in the dressing. Im going to see if I can find the recipe online to make at home.

Great food and cocktails. We had some shots while we were here and the waitress was quite knowledgeable. Fantastic wings!

Always great food and atmosphere

The food is great but the coffee is terrible, it was fine until the beginning of 2023 and the coffee supplier was changed, it is bitter and strong. I no longer order it here. So as a person who drinks lots of coffee and enjoyed the free refills I am disappointed.

Best chicken wings!

Our waitress was helpful and efficient. I had the delicious chicken fingers and the other person had wings. It was wing night and both dishes were on special and delicious. The blueberry mojito was reasonably priced and so very yummy. This is my new favourite place in Brantford.

Great Thursday night deal for a rack of ribs and a pint while the leafs played. Down side was the waitress got my receipt wrong and I didn t catch it until after I payed, she then gave me the new bill and refunded part of the money in cash, and the bill was still wrong so she refunded more money. Too bad I tipped on the original bill amount. Lesson learnt, check your bill closley.

Loves it they completely rebranded went there for a dinner double date with our friend had a wonderful time the food and people rocked price was good too.

Food is pretty awful.. they advertise fall off the bone ribs... maybe true if you first wrestle them off the bone? Some of the toughest ribs Ive ever had.. feels like a crime to even pretend that they are fall off the bone. Nothing else was remotely worth paying for or remembering.. all bland and low quality food, Im just upset I had to pay for it

I usually don t write reviews however Crabby Joes absolutely deserves 5 stars. The food was hot, fresh and delicious- the trifecta. The service was great, super friendly and helpful. Best meal out in years!! An experience out that was truly enjoyable.

Cashew chicken bowl was great. Service excellent. I only gave atmosphere 3 stars because of the noise from the bar area and the music.

Brantfords Crabby Joes service is almost second to none, and they offer a fine burger. That said, of the 4 burgers (from 4 different restaurants) Ive had over the past 3 days, it was a distant 4th. My side of fries was a significant let down, having nearly no flavourful. Additionally, this particular location wasnt particularly accessible lacking automatic door openers.

We went here for my sons birthday. We all enjoyed delicious dishes. Thursday is rib day and I enjoyed a full rack. Well be back.

Alot of good food beer was cold

Was there for lunch. There was one waitress working that afternoon I ordered French fries took 45 minutes to get them. I would not recommend going here if you only have 1 hour for lunch

Great service. Good view of sports when sitting at a booth in the bar area. Food was hot and delicious. Wait staff came along frequently and asked what we needed. Kids liked the food and were happy with their free drink refills :)

What can I say, its Crabby Joes. Nothing thats gonna blow your socks off service or atmosphere wise, but the food is consistently good and Ive never had a terrible experience here. Pretty good overall.

We visited this location on Sunday night for the first time when passing through Brantford. We came in to take advantage of Kids Eat Free on Sundays at Crabby Joes. We have been to multiple locations over the years to have this special. This was the first time I had been asked to purchase a beverage and an Entree to get the kids meal for free. It states on their website and the kids menu in front of us that you just need to purchase an adult entree. I tried to reach out to corporate through there website to clarify but the contact us wasnt working. Besides this issue, The service was not adequate. The meal took close to 30 minutes to come out. It was close to 10 minutes between when my kids food came out and when my wife and Is order arrived. They had made a mistake on my wifes meal, which the server blamed the kitchen, but after seeing the bill, she most likely made the mistake. The burger I had ordered was overcooked and charred but didnt want to ask for a new one because how long the meal took to arrive in the first place. I would like to blame the service issues on a busy restaurant, but there was only about 10 tables seated in the time we were there and none of them were larger then a 6 top. I would love someone to reach out to me to clarify the first problem I had with the special from the restaurant or corporate so I will know for future visit.

I went there with my work people , loved their burgers very fresh and tasty.

If you go after 9 p.m they have half priced appetizers. Very hard to find better value for money. Me and my sister go and usually get 3 appetizers to share between us. Would highly recommend the loaded fries and the Buffalo chicken quasadilla. For about 30 dollars after the tip, both of us felt full and happy with our meal. The service is usually delightful. Would recommend to anybody in the area

This is our go to for late night apps and drinks, such great value, they do the half price apps after 9pm as well zero complaints and weve been about a dozen times! Great service too.

Had the fish and chips. Frozen already battered overcooked and very hard. Fish so dry its really wasn t edible. They comped the meal.

The server was a little slow didnt even get a second drink and 20 min for the bill. She was pleasant.

She is super efficient, attentive, friendly, menu knowledgeable .she can give recommendations that never fail! Will look for her as our server everytime we visit Crabby Joes! This place was fantastic!! We had the Coconut Shrimp, Avocado Chicken club, Poutine, and for dessert Crabby Apple Crumbled. EVERYTHING was amazing!! Nancy was an amazing waitress. Definitely recommend this place.

4 stars because debit machines died and i had to leave to get cash from an ATM. Wouldnt accept etransfers or anything. Otherwise service was good

Came in for a beer and an appetizer. We got the loaded fries and they were phenomenal! So delicious and more than enough to split between two people.

Always long wait at the bar if you are not a bunch of already drunken foools of course. Clearly over serve their customers. Brunette tiny girl behind bar has zero concern for customers and only cares about tips from over served customers. I recommend sitting on the dinning side if you want decent serves/server

We ordered 2 small chicken Ceasar salads, they were without a doubt the absolutely worst salads we have ever had. The lettuce was soft and withered, we got a cheesy bread that was very good, I had a soft drink and my husband had a Ceasar. For this terrible lunch we were charged $77.

It was Tuesday which is wing night. Very busy. Took longer than usual to get our bill after eating. Vegetarian options: I got the Edgy veggie burger. Very tasty.

im from Toronto and every time I visit Crabby Joes I have the best time with food and drinks. Theyre appetizers are SOLID and half price after 9:00pm with $5.00 drinks ...like, whats better than that? the staff are always super friendly and I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. Their foods are delicious and the atmosphere is pleasurable You will %100 Enjoy this place! Keep on rocking Crabbys!!! Always A Great Place to Bring Friends and a Drink & Meal

Word of warning- might want to avoid this location on a Saturday night if you are a table of 2! My wife and I were seated almost immediately, which was a good start. After that we were just ignored. No less than 4 service staff walked by us including the one who had seated us, looked at us and carried on. larger tables came in, were seated and served in less than 2 min. We dont believe issue here was staff number but rather staff focusing on the tables that would likely yield largest tips. We work hard for our money and when we do go out generally spend fair amount. We can tolerate a lot and understand there are mistakes from time to time but what we can not accept is being ignored. Updated: After hearing back on this review we followed the requested steps. Turns out this is just a robot and/or third party call center. Don t waste your time if you have a concern just take your business elsewhere. They kept asking for a receipt in order to investigate - same canned response. Hard to provide a receipt when one has received 0 service. The worst thing than providing 0 customer service is pretending you are truly concerned and put people through the motions but really it s just all just fake. We get it. We were just a customer in a sea of customers. Who cares. My review now stands at 0 stars. For anyone who cares lol.

Brantford Crabby joes I had unfortunate experience at Crabby Joes Brantford. I visited in 2020 and encountered an issue with the QR code system, which led to a lifetime ban imposed by Manager Mike. I feel this decision was unwarranted, and it left me disappointed and frustrated. I hope the management can reconsider such extreme measures and work towards better customer relations in the future . This reaction was not only pure ignorance but extremely exaggerated. I d expect an apology for his actions .

Fantastic service. Our waitress was a pleasure. The atmosphere was only bettered by the magnificent food. Not much of a fry guy but the french fries were the best i have ever had anywhere anytime. A must for a great lunch dinner or game.

Google says it closes at 12. We walked in at 10:30 and had a staff member walk up to us and started the conversation with the kitchen is closed and we close at 11 you can stay for one drink and that s it . Appalling customer service one star is generous.

Wings and fries were awesome as usual the only thing I was disappointed in is both glasses of ale I tried from on tap were flat I returned both and I ended up getting a Caesar to drink instead which was really tasty.

Very satisfied with the service and food quality. We came here on a whim, and due to two of the restaurants we wanted to go to were full. It was busy service here as well, however, we were shown to our table. After a quick couple of minutes, waitress (Emma) came over, drink and food orders were taken, and we were served hot, delicious food in what seemed like moments. I recommend the NY Steak, with garlic mashed, and sautéed mushrooms. It will fill you with joy.

My meal came with fries so I switched my fries for a tiny baby ceasar salad and it cost me 8.99 plus tax. I understand there is a shortage but waitress should warn people of the cost when they order. I ordered 10 wings and thought the price was 10.99 but the bill said 15.99. So I got a snack for close to 30.00. The food was good and the service is very good.

Our waitress was nice and attentive. Our food came out hot and ready to eat, nothing was cold or forgotten about. The restaurant is clean and well be back again!

Great place for casual food and drinks. The servers Doris and Denise along with the other servers are fantastic always very attentive and they provide great service. The cashew chicken bowl is delicious.
