We appreciate places that give discounts for kids. We had a couple issues with the meal(must have been a new person in the kitchen) but they fixed it and compensated us, as they should have. Great customer service Kid-friendliness: 2$ per child per meal over 20$, on Tuesdays

Excellent service, delicious food, lunch portions are perfect size, although the delicious hot and fresh bread was a scaled down version of its earlier size. More of a miniloaf, slightly smaller than a hotdog bun. Yummy!

I love east sides.. It s one of my favorite restaurants in brantford. I love the patio update it looks really nice. All the servers are polite here and I have had kajal as my waitress multiple times and she is always very attentive, provides fast efficient service, and pleasant to deal with. I actually return here because of her and like requesting her as my waitress when I come. I was only disappointed that they took the parm sliders off the menu they were always my favorite but other than that I love coming here, great family/ friendly atmosphere..Have also celebrated many birthday parties here. We did my mom s 50th in the back room and it was amazing. Thanks east sides, love your bread and thanks kajal for providing top notch service.

We ordered wings, salad, and a garlic loaf for pick up last night. When we arrived home we were missing the bread. I called the restaurant, was passed onto the takeout person who asked if I could come back and get it. I said no and then waited on the line because they had to go talk to their manager to see what they could do... I fully expected a rigamarole... It was, afterall, a $1.99 add on, which, to any normal person would not be a big deal. But, I was having one of those objectively first world problems sort of days and expected it to get worse, so I passed the phone to my partner to avoid having to deal with it, myself. Anyhow, when the manager got on the phone, the gist was they pretty much said they would bring the bread to our house. I was so pleasantly surprised that anyone would go out of their way for a $1.99 loaf bread! Oh, and to top it off, they threw in an extra loaf. Truth be told, I would have certainly gone back for the wings (they have *really good wings). But I can now say that I also would go back because they have exceptional service. Because of their effort, my bad day was made much better. *Thank you!

Our party of 16 tonight added to what was already a very busy night at ESM Brantford. Our server Amara was spectacular. Took our orders in a timely fashion. Dinner was served pretty quick considering the crowd of diners. Small issue that was resolved quickly by the kitchen manager Nathan. You just could not ask for a better experience. Thanks Amara for the wonderful service and thanks Nathan for taking care of our concerns. Awesome night!

Pretty standard east side Marios atmosphere, food is the same at any location. Weve had much more enjoyable experiences dining in than ordering take-out (orders messed up, things forgotten, order ready significantly later than told when ordering)

Went for a retirement party. Aiden and Meg gave great service for our party of 16. Really nice experience overall between the food, service and atmosphere!

Aiden S was our server. He was excellent and pleasant. It was busy but he always checked in. Most of all he was friendly and kind. He did not know this but my husband just passed away and I was there with my 2 little kids. He took time to chat and be attentive. He was nice without knowing how hard life is for us right now. Its so important to be kind, you never know peoples situations. Thank you for a great meal, great service and some adult conversation:)

I went to East Side Mario s this past weeekend and had a wonderful experience. The food and drinks were great but my server Kajal went above and beyond to provide the best service to my family. I will most definitely be back after receiving excellent service making the whole experience a 10/10.

I was in for dinner and had Lindsay as my server. She was fabulous and so personable, it was such an enjoyable experience for me and my husband. She was great, told us about all the new Parm fest specials that are happening, and was just overall an amazing server. Delicious spaghetti and meatballs. Kim was our server. She was excellent and made sure we got lots of bread and salad refills. Would recommend the violet lemonade, it s so tasty. That s how a lemonade should be! So good!

Had the Marios Mangia Sampler. I must also say my first time trying their lasagna and breaded chicken parm. I cant believe I waited this long! Definitely a new must-have. Try the new lemonades, too.

We celebrated a Birthday, the taste of the food was terrible, the chicken parmigiana was over cooked could only eat the centre. The ravioli were good but had to take the chunk of tomato off the tasted sour. There is a big difference in the sauce. The garden salad had big chunks and very little dressing had to ask for more. The kids menu includes ice cream, not ice cream like a freeze. Very noisy. Very disappointing. Sorry for this comment but I feel you should know.

Great birthday dinner!!! Kim our server was amazing, very attentive and sweet, she turned down the volume on the birthday robot so my shy son wasnt embarassed. Food was tasty and came out nice and hot .we will be back soon!

$25 a person for pasta kinda crazy. No good lunch menu. Seems like fine dining in a pasta place. Not worth it wal-mart is close by spend $25 on noodles sauce and meatballs. Save your $$$

We dined at this location and our server Lindsay was superb, she was so kind and attentive making sure we had everything we needed all night. We mentioned that it had been a while since we had been at east sides, and she recommended the parm fest menu so we chose the triple threat parm. Wow was it ever good, glad I went with her recommendation. We will certainly be back for the friendly service and chicken parm.

This place is great, I come here all the time. Im writing this today though because of Kajal. Shes a great server and fun to talk to while being very welcoming.

Very dissapointed by our most recent visit. We waited over 1.5 hours for food and during that time we only saw our waitress twice. We were never even asked if we needed any more drinks. A group beside us arrived after us and had received their food, paid their bill, and left before we even had our food. When the food did eventually arrive, multiple orders were cold or undercooked. To top it all off, the bills were provided incorrectly 3 times making for a very frustrating dining experience. The combination of poor service and low-quality food have lost this restaurant 8 customers going forward.

Unfortunately, our experience was a bit of a nightmare this evening. We were a group of 8 adults with 6 kids under the age of 4. We called ahead and made a reservation, requesting the private room so we wouldn t be a disturbance to other patrons enjoying their meals. High chairs and booster seats were gross and had to be wiped down before we could use them. Despite a reservation booked for 5:30, we didn t get our entrees until 7pm. We felt very neglected by our waitress, who rarely made an appearance and forgot every request we made. She tried to excuse it by telling us they had a lot of takeout orders that night. We watched a family beside us come in, order, eat and leave before we even had our food. Drinks took 20 minutes to come out (and no waters for the table were brought out until we asked). Bread took just as long, we never saw the extra butter we requested and we only got one Caesar salad to share with all 14 people (and received a garden salad no one ordered or liked). The food was alright, mixed reviews. Some of the pizzas were undercooked/cold and the chicken was tough. Because our patience was quickly getting used up, we asked for our bills and to-go boxes immediately after the food arrived. Again, our waitress disappeared and didn t have anything ready when she returned, so we waited another 20 minutes for our bills. Finally, our separate bills were all incorrect. Some more significant than others, and it took 3 more attempts for the waitress to correct them. My husband and I still ended up paying for a drink we didn t order (we gave up) and the kids did not get their desserts. An apology didn t seem like enough for how much we went through tonight. We ve all had positive experiences at this location before, but we will probably not return after this one. We hope this review is seen by management so they are aware of what happened. Kid-friendliness: Private room available for groups. High chairs and booster seats for little ones.

We went to Eastsides for my Birthday. I had the worst experience because of the one server who clearly gave me the vibe that she did not give a *** that it was my Birthday. I normally take my kids there and the service is hit or miss depending on the server you get. However I know in the past the staff would sing and bring a mini cake with a candle out and sing and make feel excited for ypir Birthday.Our main server just did not have a great vibe and seemed racist. We wanted to sit on the patio. I was greeted nicely by the 2 host at the entrance when we entered and was excited and said it was my Birthday they said Happy Birthday and to let me server know. My family and I sat at the table and immediately when my server came over to take our order she said the robot cant come out to the patio for my Birthday do I want to sit inside. I said no my kids and are already here so well stay because the patio is beautiful. We ordered and I asked for a soup to start and bread she said I would have to finish the soup before I can order any other side. One of the reasons we like Eastside is the all you can eat soups, salads and bread. However she said one at a time. Anyways there were other servers we came around to help bring the food out however our main female server was nott friendly, accommodating or even said Happy Birthday the entire time. At the end of our meal she gave the bill and brought the Birthday treat and placed it on the table and walked away. I never got a smile or even a Happt Birthday from her not even once through out my entire meal. I will never go there for a Birthday meal again with my family. Coincidently there was another young white guy a the table beside us that was celebrating his birthday and had our same server and she was all smiles and said numerous Happy Birthday. Customer service is so important to be warm, welcoming, accomadating....what does it cost to be kind or to even smile on someones Birthday?! Dont work as a server then.

Ordered off the website and it was easy to track and even though it did take a little while, the hot stuff was hot, and the cold stuff was cold, However I dont know if you switched to a mayo based caesar dressing? But if not, theres definitely mayo in your caesar bottle for takeout. Either way, NBD but not a great combo lol. But overall it was great :)

Josh was an incredible server. We brought our two children, 19mo daughter and our 5yo son (who is highly autistic). Josh took our drink orders and the kids meal orders simultaneously, and we had noodles for the kids in probably less than 10 minutes. Incredibly fast. Especially for our autistic son, sitting and waiting can be challenge. We ve never had service this fast. And the kids were quiet as a result, and my wife and I got an incredibly rare date night experience. 10/10, couldn t be happier

Super friendly, always takes the best care of us when we come here for a meal, great recommendations on food/drinks, and goes above and beyond with her customer service. We always ask for Cassie when we come in and she s always awesome!

Tried the king George location for dinner again tonight. Ive tried other locations but this locations quality is better than others. Asked to be sat in cats section again because shes excellent. Honestly great server. The hostess Nat suggested tge Crispy Chicken Cacio e Pepe, thankyou Natalie, it did not disappoint. Another great experience, thankyou Cat and Nat!

We were passing through Brantford and decided to stop for dinner at East Side Marios. Arriving just before 5 PM on a Friday, the place was already busy and packed by the time we left. The server and hostess were pleasant, but when seating my family, I had to point out food spilled on the bench before my daughter sat down. They apologized and gave it a quick wipe, but the table didn t look very clean either. The kids got the same overpriced kids meals, but my sons portion was considerably smaller, and they are small to begin with. The server did not offer or mention the desserts that come with the meals, and we realized we never got them only after we left. My son, who is immunocompromised and undergoing chemo, deserved a better dining experience, and I chose East Side Marios expecting a clean environment for him. Additionally, my husband took our son to use the bathroom, but they left saying it was too gross to use. I ordered the chicken parm, which was really good, but my husbands shrimp linguine had very few shrimp. Paying $100 for this meal was definitely not worth it. After not visiting an East Side Marios for years, this experience was incredibly disappointing.

We went to East Side Marios in Brantford on a really hot day. Our server, who went by Cat, was absolutely phenomenal! Our 12 year old son asked for very soft noodles because of just getting braces - the pasta was perfect! She served us so well & even helped in ways we were not even willing to ask for. Cat went above & beyond! We will return soon & we will most likely ask for Cat!

Felt very rushed. Ruined the evening just by how quickly the main appears without you asking for it. AYCE soup salad etc with main appetizer is a gimmick now at east side it seems. The main appears before you can even finish your spup/salad starter. Disappeared overall with this visit.

Fine Italian food

The place was crazy on a Tuesday night with kids eat for $2 and we were anxious to get to the 620 show tonight. Ethan rocked the prompt food and beverage delivery for us! Kudos to the kitchen as well for a delicious and promptly served meal!

Amara was my server and the service was excellent. She was attentive and personal, and was a delight to be served by. I had the shrimp Alfredo with baked cheese and my date had the salmon bowl both were delicious! I definitely recommend upgrading your beer to the Mario size and trying the baked cheese as the deal is too good to pass.

I have tried to order for delivery multiple times - online I get an error and it says to call a number - I call the number and try to enter the order by phone - she gets an error - she then says they arent doing delivery - what do you mean they arent doing delivery - Why offer delivery if you arent going to actually deliver? I know you do deliveries because we have had you before. However, from this horrendous experience of wasting 30 mins just to try to order food I will take my business elsewhere. I do not understand why its such a struggle to order food and give you money. Other places will gladly take our business and have an order in within 5 mins.

Have you seen their new patio? ... omg, its AMAZING! WE went there on the weekend for a date night. The staff was super friendly and efficient and the food was delicious but the patio is next level. We ended up spending a lot longer there then we anticipated (and spent way more $ and had to uber home lol) as we just didnt want to leave the patio. This patio is top notch, relaxing and makes you feel like you are on a high end vacation. Best patio we have ever been to! Great job East Sides Brantford!

When we mentioned a dietary restriction, he was knowledgeable and made sure our meal was prepared accordingly. He even recommended the perfect dessert to finish our evening. Had dinner with my family, not a single thing to complain about. Food was great as usual. Our server, Catherine, was amazing. Very attentive and friendly.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here tonight! The food was served hot and tasted wonderful. What made the evening perfect was the exceptional service we received from our waitress, which according to our receipt was Cassie C. Cassie had such a welcoming and positive attitude. She was genuine in making sure we were happy, and although there were other customers, when she came to our table, her attention and service made us feel like we were the only ones there! She made us aware of specials and deals the restaurant was offering that night, she was easy to ask questions to and recommended a violet ice tea-lemonade which tasted amazing. It was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable experiences and delicious meals I have had in a while at a restaurant. Thank you Cassie C. for being so good at your job!

Ordered takeout, we hadnt had their food in a very long time. We ordered the meal with chicken parm, fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna. didnt want salad but couldnt place an order without it..so waste of $$ there. The chicken parm was way over cooked to the point of being crispy and so hard on the edges we couldnt eat it. The Alfredo was just ok, noodles with sauce over, not mixed so nothing special. The piece of lasagna was so small and fettucine noodles were dumped all over it so it was covered in Alfredo sauce. For $28 a person was not impressed at all.

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat out, we hadnt been for a while so we thought we would check it out and we were so disappointed. We were asked if we were ok to sit in the back room, and we said yes having no idea that our family of 4 would be tucked in the corner at table barely big enough for our plates. We were seated, and we were served food with no side plates for apps, napkins or cutlery. We watched servers walk in and shouted out orders to the room to figure out which tables got food. No one used trays to carry the plates of food, they just stacked it on their arms and on their chest with their pony tails sweeping the plates. The server that delievered our food had my daughters plate resting on her chest with her mouth directly over the food as she spoke to the room to figure out which table the food belonged too. On top of that we paid extra for the unlimited salad & bread and was brought one bowl. The quality of our food was not what we remembered with salad that was not dressed and soggy pizza.The only reason we are giving the stars we are is the mozzarella sticks were delicious and our server was sweet and lovely when she was actually able to make it to our table.

Very bad experience for our first time visiting east side Mario s! Over an hour before our food came and it was brought pasta instead of the pizza for my grandsons ! Then they said it would be 15 min for his pizza So our food got cold Very poor service as well Will not return !

Terrible service ! We were rushed out of our back room because another group was coming in but they shouldn t have scheduled another group so quickly after us! On top of that the server ( guy) between 1-2 pm today was completely rude and pushy to get us out of there. Not coming back Food

Tried to make a reservation for 5, explained I was coming from out of town. They would not make a reservation because we were less than a party of 8. The hostess does not honor first come, first seated. Waited a while just to be acknowledged then have the girls who came in behind me get a seat right away and told shed be back to seat me after.

This Friday I went out to eat at Mario s and I had a server by the name Darrien his service was amazing and made the whole evening a great time. The food was also delicious and Darrien s hospitality made me want to come back again.

Went there today for Mother s Day and didn t even get out of the car. It s noon and they were cutting up concrete to make a patio. The noise and huge amount of concrete dust over the parking lot was awful. No way we were going to park our car there, walk through it and have to listen to that. It s the Brantford location.

Not much has changed but what youd expect from a chain restaurant. Some of my old favs are no longer on the menu, our service was ok.

The staff is amazing, super friendly and on point. Our food was good as well. Would recommend.

The Brantford location is an absolute gem! We called today at opening with a request to accommodate a 35 person reservation of a softball team. Within 10 minutes they had called in extra staff to be able and accommodate us. Our servers, Aiden, Courtney and Alayana were absolutely fantastic, they tended to us so well, looked after 13 softball players without missing a beat. The drinks and food came out fast and on the dot. Fantastic experience all around! Definitely a place to hit for any teams looking to have a team lunch or dinner! You will not be disappointed.
