Montana’s BBQ & Bar in Brantford

There was an issue with our original order. Staff and management were apologetic and were quick to correct it. Their attitude went a long way towards an overall great experience. Mistakes happen but how a restaurant handles that makes all the difference. We will definitely be back based on the excellent customer service we received,

The service was quick. The staff that talked to us were very friendly. Food was good and and averagely priced. What made our experience superb was when I went to pay, using a giftcard but it wasnt working. The issue was neither our or the restaurants fault because it didn t activate. The manager of the restaurant personally resolved the issue and did not charge us for this misfortune. He was truly genuine guy which is rare to find. Will definitely come back again!

Ash was an amazing server. Attitude was great. Took care of any concerns we had. The manager Stu was very friendly and made sure all concerns and food were great. Take out order. Had to wait for order. Order missing 2 items. Called the restaurant, I was told someone would call me back....no call. Food was cold. Cheese on routine no even melted.

Waited at the door with my elderly mother. No one acknowledged us. So, since my mum has trouble standing, we sat down at a table. Server saw us, pass by us 3 times and we were ignored. So, mum and I left. NO excuse for this. Restaurant was not overly busy. At least acknowledge us and hand us a menu to keep us occupied. After 10 mins, we got up and went to another restaurant in Brantford. Needless to say, I nor my mum will be back.

Anna, Christine, Karissa, Chantal all the bartenders are frickin amazing. They make Montanas a welcoming, friendly place. The vibe is friendly and chill, food is great. A welcoming place!

All if the waiters and waitresses are the best (especially anna) they are polite, friendly, funny, etc. The food is good but we mostly come for the visits with the waitress. The atmosphere around is welcoming, fun and over a good vibe. It is a kid-friendly place but also good for adults to come and have a drink. Over all a great place, 10/10 will definitely be returning!

Great experience using montanas take-out today. Ordered meal on montanas app, ready within 25 minutes to be picked up. Upon arriving home with food, we noticed an adult and kids meal were incorrect. We called restaurant and they immediately apologized and rectified it. They were very apologetic and we were understanding- mistakes happen. We offered to pick up new meals (as we aren t local). Upon arriving, a manager came and personally apologized, replaced both meals, added an extra dessert and gave a $25 gift card. Exceptional customer service. We will most definitely visit again- dine in and take out. :) Meals were excellent by the way! Hit with adults and both kids! Kid-friendliness: Great options for kid meals.

Be careful when ordering from Tia she is tricky and will up charge you...I ordered the rib and wing combo $22.99 on the website She gave me a half rack of ribs on the bill and added 4 wings and tried to tell me its the same price ..ribs were 27.99 wings were a 5 dollar add on so a 10 dollar difference in what I wanted to order...buyer beware thats scammy...(side note the chicken wings were way over cooked..nasty )

Poutine was cold when served( dated Oct 16, 2024). We ordered mac and cheese( was great), The chicken wings was not hot either. Spinach dip was excellent. Server Tia was amazing, except for the cold poutine( I personally dont eat poutine, but my hubby did. ) He told me to just leave it, hope they will serve proper poutine next time!

So I was there lastnight and the service was very slow and on top of that the server was super rude with a huge attitude, I will never be going there again .

We just had a great experience at the Brantford location. Our server was attentive and accommodating. The manager was wonderful. We had a small issue with a meal and it was handled so fast and efficiently. The food was wonderful and came out fast. We also had some random requests as we had a baby (needed to heat up a bottle) and they did not make us feel like a burden whatsoever. We will definitely be back. What a welcoming place !

The experience was terrible, and the food was disgusting, especially the chicken, which was completely dried out. I ordered the butter-fried chicken, and it was the worst dish Ive ever had for that amount of money.

The manager Christine and one of the waitress have a bad customer service. The waitress looked like someone under an influence on something. At first the waitress was so rude while I was placing my order. I overlooked it then she displayed it again when she came to take more orders, she walked out on me before I could understand what she was saying. The manager came and judged based on what the staff said without asking what happened. I was really disappointed. There Ribs is very nice but bad customer service from the manager Christine and one of the staff.

The brisket was an amazing addition to the mac and cheese! The potato skins with brisket(burnt ends) also 10/10. The lovely lady Tia was an absolute doll. Super sweet and considerate. Lovely experience as a whole at this place.

I like coming to Montanas! I always end up getting nice severs but today I got a lovely server named Kate!

My bartender, Shantell, was awesome and was very attentive. If I ever come back to Canada, Im definitely hitting this spot up again.

Cannot rate anything. Could not order on the app or the website. I went in person and the manager would not come and speak with me. We ended up having dinner somewhere else. Not impressed.

We had a great meal here. We cashed in our certificate which Montana s donated to the Rotary Club of Brantford - Sunrise s online auction held in April in support of the Pediatrics unit at the hospital. Great to see the community support that Dan and his staff give to Brantford My Canada Burger Eh! was excellent as was the service. We ll be back. My spouse is Gluten free and she says Montana s has the best gluten free buns (for Hanvurgers) in Brantford.

Went out for dinner with some friends last night, had Christine as our bartender, it s been a while since my friends and I went out so we were there for a while, she was really pleasant and nothing but accommodating and made us feel very welcome, we never felt rushed amazing service we will defiantly be back and be requesting Christine!!

Food tastes great but if you order online(uber eats, site, etc) they give you non existent portions. So I paid ~20$ for a meal that wasnt very filling

Ive been going to Montanas for 20 years. I was always satisfied with the food. However last week took the family for diner and was shocked at the quality of food theyre putting out. Everything seemed microwaved and the lettuce was rotten on the burgers. Not sure whats happening there but theyre standards sure took a nosedive.

Went on half price wing day. Service was fine but wings very small compared to what they once were.

I paid $50 for a steak that was not the best quality. Do yourself a favour and go to the Keg and paid $47 for Prime Rib. 200% better in every way. The server I had was lovely Food

We had a lovely evening tonight visiting Montana s. The food was great. Service was amazing. Our server, Brooke tended to us with care. Took the time to cater to our 3 year old son, constantly smiling and interacting with him. She made our night& visit at Montana s a great one.

We arrive between 5:30 and 6 pm. Parking lot was full. As we walked in we were greeted right away. Asked for a table on the bar side. And had a table in minutes. The one bartender (wish we knew her name ) said hello with a great big smile. Our drink order was taken and delivered in no time at all. We ordered our dinners. As busy the restaurant was our dinners came out hot and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful enjoyable dinner

My husband, our 3 kids and I stopped in for some food on our way home from niagara falls in the afternoon yesterday. We were a little hangry and tired and we were going to go to the mall food court but I suggested we got to montanas instead. It was a good call because we were so done peopling after the crowds in niagara lol. It wasnt a really busy time of day so it was nice and quiet. I believe our servers name was Leah and she was awesome. The food was fast and hot out of the kitchen. We got beef ribs, fajitas, a burrito bowl which I absolutely loved, and some fries and onion rings. Onion rings were the best Ive had in a long time. Not greasy at all. My hubby loved the beef ribs. Kids and i werent super hungry but it was hard to stop eating the food it was so good. Leah was friendly and an absolute pro. BTW, so sorry for spilling my dr. Pepper all over the table. Lol. Tired clumsy mama over here lol. Thank you again. We would definitely recommend.

Chicken fingers were great

Pretty fast in service. Placed the order drove to the store and out they brought it! Way to go Montanas havent let us down yet. Orders have been correct and cook well. Just wish they were a little hotter in Temp not spice. Dine in may be a bit of a wait, but worth it!

Shantelle, server/manager waits on our table regularily along with Anna and we always feel comfortable with her/their courteous, friendly and welcoming manner. I have been coming here through out the years. The food is great and the staff is great but for this review I want to mention and talk about something else. At dinner today my family was sadly faced with a bad situation with the table next to us that involves racism. I would like to give the manager and the entire staff 5 out of 5 for how quickly the other table was dealt with. The manager was incredibly quick to realize something was going on and before we knew it he handled everything personally. Good job manager and staff.

The food was Delicious & the service from Deidre was absolutely fantastic.

The lady server today was extremely rude and unprofessional. Out loud, she told another staff member that our table is a waste of time because we were only ordering alcohol even though we did end up ordering food and just started off with some drinks. Working with the public is not a job for her.

Brooke told us she was new to Montana s. Without her telling us we would never have known. We put her to the test using our CAA card, Scene card and a gift card. She handled all like a a pro. We will be back!!!!

In our party the four adults and two children had a fair sampling of the menu offerings. Favourable tastes were the 10oz steak done to a medium that was more on the rare side and the fish and chips that recieved rave remarks on the light crispy beer batter. Number 3 entre was the chicken fingers also getting the thumbs up for a crispy coating and tender meat. All sounds good but the chicken wings ordered as an appetizer were overcooked and tough to chew. Best part of our dinner was our friendly and super attentive waitress. We may come back but we know what to stay away from on the list.

We loved our server Brooke! She was new to Montanas but super cute and friendly! Definitely not her first rodeo (pardon the pun)! And she read the memo and gave us crayons!!!! The food was great but a bit salty on the fish and chips. Rib and wing combo was good. Otherwise amazing

We enjoyed a family dinner at Montanas in September out on the patio. Montanas had the Caesars on special and it was made well with the right portion of spice. I ate the Chicken Caesar salad. The salad was fresh with a good portion of lettuce and BBQ grilled chicken. We enjoy the food here and the service has usually been quite good. Location is convenient and plenty of parking. We will be back again soon. Parking: There is plenty of parking in front and behind the restaurant.

This is the wife and i favourite restaurant in brantford, all because of one waitress. Chelsea is by far the best waitress weve ever had. Our drinks are never empty and shes always exceeded our needs. Ans the food has never skipped a beat! Goodwork chelsea and everyone else!

I greatly enjoyed my experience this evening. I must say, of all my various occasions that I have frequented a Montanas, this encounter may have been my most positive. Anna, the one that served me throughout my tenure at the establishment, was both engaging and efficient. She exemplifies the best in a bartender and host.

Anna is the heart of the bar. She consistently looks after the entire bar, while making everyone laugh and have an amazing time. She is a gem. One of a kind! Food

Chicken sandwich was overcooked and hard, like it had been sitting out for 30 minutes, fries lukewarm. Before anyone points out the timing, I was there well before the estimate. Not impressed.
