I think they took the fries from the fridge not the fryer. What a disappointment cold soggy fries. Parking: And some jerk parked in front of me in the driveway. What a disappointment.

Worse fries in a long time, you take hot fries, spay them with vinegar and immediately put them in a sealed plastic bag. You end up with soggy fries in a sweaty plastic bag. Disgusting

The fries are beyond delicious! Ive never had a Stans Fries that Ive ever been disappointed with before. The staff are fantastic and the fact you can get extra salt and vinegar is a win! Favourite part of Brantford

Not sure who owns the place, but whoever they are , they shouldnt be telling people what they can and cant put on their fries ..... you are a service to someone , offer some condiments to people that will make their experience better ..... I have to bring ketchup to work with me when I buy fries from stans ....... and let people put on what they want your employees dont know how much i want on my fries ...... and maybe offer something better to eat them with other than a tooth pick ........ Id go there a whole lot more if the owner got off his high horse and let people do what they want to their fries (Went back for dinner and there were metal filings on my fries)

Heard nothing but amazing things about Stans. Went there early March 2023. Immediately could smell and tell the oil was old. Fries had a distinct coating and taste of old oil being used. The fries were oil soaked and it was the first time Ive ever thrown out fries in my life .... ever. I will chalk this up to a one-off and try them again for sure, since everyone always says how great they are.

A must when in Brantford. Located in the center of the parking lot. Enjoyed the large salt & vinegar chips. Ketchup not available. Open all year round.

The service, people, and food is amazing. They recently had a small fire, but rose from it tenfold. Super happy theyre by the downtown bus terminal as well, theyre usually busy with travellers. As someone who recently moved to Brantford I can say this place is a staple to the city and Stans Fries has my recommendation hands down!

Fries were cooked and pre packaged (unsure how long they had been sitting there before we placed the order. Tasted terrible, were soggy and lukewarm! Had I not drove away I would have requested a return. Ensure your fries are cooked while you wait!

This place, which specializes in fries, has the best value for money that I have for this niche with good quality fries when you have your expectation down to a specific level.

It s a food truck. But it s amazing. Just fries and drinks on the menu, but fries are amazing and they sprinkle them with vinegar and salt if you want. So good. First time trying and I ll definitely go back !!!

You should hear how this woman that runs the place talks to her young teenage employee, talks like shes their mother, gets disciplined if they sit down for a second, gets nasty if they have the sniffles, tells them how disgusting it is, absolutley shameful, people like this need exposed, cannot treat young people just coming into the workforce like this, I will post pictures of text messages sent to one of these young employees of this doesnt stop now. When I say disciplined they got fired cause of this womans nastiness its disgusting

If I could give them zero I would the old lady working tonight was ignorant I ve been going there for years and never had I had such a witch serving me as well she did not wear a hair net and her hair was all over the place have a few more beers before you come in or quit your job you just lost a loyal customer who spent more then 30 bux a week there by hiring that witch get rid of her and I ll be back

Always in the mood for inexpensive French fries, Stan s Fries are good. Prices went up a bit since last year (not much really). Can get a good size small fries for $3.25 and Large for $5.50 and X-tra large for $8.75 (this was on visit on July 10th/2022. Nice vinegar added on request with salt if desired. Been there or exists since 1950. Constant customer flow from repeat customers obviously. Pop available for $1.50 a can. No condiments like ketchup etc. CASH only no debit or credit. Would definitely return when in Brantford, ON again.

Amazing when theyre done right, but fairly tasteless when they arent. Unfortunately, this place is a little inconsistent.

The fries are good, but unfortunately one of the workers is constantly using hand sanitizer and multiple times I have been able to taste it on my fries. Even a tiny bit is more fhan enough to make me gag and lose my appetite for all of them.

If you want a quick fix with fries then try Stans Fries always good and hot. Love these fries, they are always, always, always the same - Awesome taste with just the right salt and malt...I dont mind standing in line, its a tradition ive been part of since I was a kid.... you can also get them with salt, vinegar,malt vinegar, and plain. There is also a good supply of water and pop.

There is no other fry stand that makes French Fries as good as those as Stans. In buisness for years they are hot golden brown and salty with vinegar yum.. It is a great place to end a Sunday drive and only $5.00 for a large you cannot beat it Enjoy

Normally, the fries are great here!! Today, not sure what happened; ordered 2 large fries, and they were done pretty fast. Then I got home and found they were old, like they were re-cooked or something. Kind of disappointed about that, I even gave them a tip!!

Best fries in the North end of Brantford. Sometimes the line is huge especially around lunch time so I would say that this in the only knock against them. For those with allergies as of the time Im writing this they fry in Canola oil.
