I had one of the most delicious meals Ive ever had at the Keg. We also had a lovely waitress who did a great job. It was her birthday today as well. And we got a wonderful free dessert because it was my birthday. It was a great experience. Sincerely Yvette Cook

First time there Disappointed to say the least. Food was wasnt even hot no point in telling our server we already waited an hour to get our food. She offered us a free dessert no thanks had to shuffle into a little table while others are eating not very comfortable.

For some reason, they lost our reservation. we sat in foyer waiting for seats while our other 2 quests were already seated, and they also said they couldnt find our res. After we ate wed got a notice saying they canceled our reservation lol

My wife and I had a great experience with this location. Service and food was amazing. It was a little noisy but also a Friday night and there was a Leafs game on. Definitely will be back.

Utensils missing from table.The table was so small and too close to other tables did not like where we sat.We asked for a booth but they sat us at a very small table close to other tables.Some food was cold had to ask for the salad we ordered they only brought us 1 salad.

Ive never had a bad experience at the Keg. Ive only ever had 1 mistake on a steak Ive ordered. It was sorted out promptly, and was compensated for it as well! Love this spot for special occasions! You gotta have the Billy Miners pie!

The prime rib was tasteless and dry. Not enjoyable at all. Worked for the Keg in the late 80 s and the steaks were incredible. Well seasoned juicy and delicious. My last 2 experiences were the same. The beef was tasteless. I feel like the old woman in the Wendy s commercial. Where is the beef? At least the service was great.

Delicious top sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes. Steak cooked to perfection. Wait staff was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and attentive. Wish there was a Keg closer to my home, as this place is great. Parking: Restaurant is located in a shopping area with plenty of free parking.

I really like the Keg. They are highly consistent with steaks. It is always the same and cooked the way you want it everything. Their Filet and Ribsteak (ribeye) are easy picks. Also their Billy Miner Pie is so good, that is a no brainer.

Great experience! Weve been here a few times, and as a chain, a keg is a keg right? Wrong. Ive heard from a few different people is Brantford Keg is better. No real explanation for it but the service is great, and the food is a cut above.

My partner and I went for a last minute date night last night, and since we had a $50 gift card, we decided to head to The Keg. Our server (I wish I could remember her name - it might have been Jessica) was extremely kind and attentive. When our steaks came out, I noticed mine was overcooked. Our server asked how our food was, and I almost didn t say anything but decided to let her know that it was slightly more cooked than I had hoped. She promptly went back to the kitchen to place another steak order for me, and the manager came to check in with us too. They brought back a perfect steak about 10 minutes later, and even gave us the meal for free (which I thought was so kind, but certainly did not expect). They were extremely apologetic (again, it wasn t a huge deal to me but they obviously wanted us to be extremely satisfied with our meal). Great service by our lovely server, and the manager was excellent too. Well done Brantford Keg!

Our meal was delicious cooked perfect. The Manager.. what a great guy, definitely is presence in his position and you can tell is a very well run restaurant. Darien was our server and what a lovely young lady it was her second shift and I could not tell. The hostess great Job ladies. So pleasant when entering and exiting your establishment. Very nice night out with my husband.

Very disappointed at this place server not good sitt us under an event two feet away from us freezing took forever to move us break was raw in middle order ribbs with ff and a bake potatoes on side then on menus saying plain bake potatoes was 550 cal and a ywise bake was 450 cal really server got us ff cold never asker us at the end she offerv us the ff to take home really the I told her they were cold and she just walk away

We had an awesome time at the Keg yesterday. I had the salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had Top Sirloin steak He enjoyed it so much. Our Waiter Gabe was amazing. He made sure our food was good and our children loved it. I hope he continues to be successful and continues to be kind. Kid-friendliness: My kids had keg kiddies burgers and I loved it.

We had mushrooms neptune, escargot, steak, prime rib and crab legs. Everything was cooked and seasoned absolutely perfect. Service was impeccable. Well worth the price!! Fabulous job Brantford Keg.

The prime rib was mediocre . Service was unmentionable. Spending that kind of money to have a steak knife brought and placed without a napkin is unacceptable. And the blatant neglect with everything else that makes it a great experience to go out was disappointing. The wife was happy with the vegan Sheppard pie. Kudos to that. If I had ordered alcohol I would have been topped up it seemed like. Baked potatoe was double baked. Unexpectedly.

Justine our server was great! She made sure we had everything we needed and very friendly.

I hosted a party of 30 guests and the service was impeccable. Everyone enjoyed the meals and the variety of drinks available. Top place to dine at.

Despite my steak being overdone, this was one of the best customer service experiences we ve ever had. Justine was attentive, sweet, and assured me that she would not have settled for the first steak I was given. As one who doesn t typically send food back, I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed, and Justine made it ok.

Awsome service, great food, just be prepared for the bill at the end. Gone are the days of affordable restaurant dining. Parking: It is a good thing that the Keg is the only restaurant that is currently open in the plaza.

Good service and good dishes

Went there with my family for my birthday. I got the baseball stake. It was the best stake of my life. And the service was very fast.

Got the Ribeye, and I thought it tasted great. The presentation of it was not great, though. It was falling apart, and with it only being 10oz, thats difficult to ignore. Wait staff was terrific and very attentive. All the appetizers were delish, and we had many of them to share as a group.

Both my wife and I had a great experience. Had the peppercorn NY strip. Was absolutely . I prefer my own steak over anyones but this was perfection. My wife had the ribeye and says it was also great. 2 thumbs up.

The food was okay except the lobster bisque seemed to be missing the lobster. The restaurant is very loud but you can wear your favourite swag t-shirt and ball cap at the table. This was a real departure from the other Kegs we have dined at.

Had a dinner celebration for my brother and his new wife, my brothers 4 kids (one 19 three teenagers), her brother and myself. The was great, the food would have been better than it was had it been hot. I believe it sat under the lamps as our server didnt walk the main courses. I have a huge issue when the server who takes the order doesnt walk the main entrees. Appetizers being brought by another server not great, however, tolerable. As for the main course there isnt an excuse I will accept for the server not delivering main course. If you cannot your tip is going to reflect it. On a positive note 4 servers approached my brother to compliment him on how polite and well mannered his kids are. That is a huge compliment coming from 4 individuals who see all kinds of kids.

Overpriced, loud (as in none of the kind of atmosphere that youd expect considering the scandalous prices). Oh yeah, lets not forget the Ceasar salad with no bacon (unless you want to pay a few bucks for it). Once again - only here because of a gift card. Im actually going to suggest to the person that got us this for the second year in a row, to get us a card that is good at several restaurants instead. Seriously folks, if you want a good steak AND a fine dining experience , go somewhere else. Thats why I slam this place, because they try to pass themselves off as something theyre not. OR if youre OK with roadhouse dining with appropriate pricing and youre in the USA, find a Texas Roadhouse - seriously better cuts of meat, crazy cheap AND they dont try to be something theyre not. I was just there two days ago and the difference in meat qualit, price, and experience was like night and day. It made my visit here tonight at the keg extra unpalatable. Or, maybe it was the Ceasar salad with no bacon! Hey, theyve got the masses fooled though, so good for them.

Just had dinner with my husband for my birthday. Our waitress Veronica was fantastic: attentive, conversational, and brought a joy to our table with every visit. My steak (Sirloin Oscar) was a little more cooked than I preferred but both her and the manager immediately offered to rectify the situation. They offered to remake the steak (unnecessary, I can eat medium rare and no sense in wasting the food.) They then surprised us with a complimentary dessert and comped more on the meal (which wasnt necessary either.) The meal was phenomenal otherwise, the food absolutely decadent, and Veronica did everything to make it a special experience for both of us! Thank you Veronica, the Manager on Duty, and the entire staff. You can bet well be back for more!

My son and I had such a great experience here at the Keg. The food was delicious as usual but the best part was our server Scott! He really did make our visit 5 stars!!!

Best place we have eaten since we moved to Canada!

On my most recent visit.. I found that the restaurant isnt as good as previous visits.. I had the 6 oz Sirloin Oscar with double baked potato.. The food was just OK.. Asked for blue rare, and it was cooked to rare.. The double baked potato was small.. Usually I take home half my dinner.. This time it wasnt a problem to finish it all..

Our waitress Veronica was amazing- thank you for a wonderful Good Friday. The chef today was shev, it was definitely the best steak we have had from the keg in a long time!! We usually go to the Hamilton location but the drive to Brantford is worth it!!!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Went for my birthday and to be honest it was the first time I ve ever experienced horrible food, my entire meal was ice cold and overcooked, it didn t look like anybody s steak were even close to the proper size ( all seemed very small), service was on point and the server was tipped well

We went here for our eighth wedding anniversary. We had a absolutely amazing time there. Our server was absolutely perfect, very attentive and took care of our every needs.

Firstly I have to say that consistently the Brantford Keg is one of the best in the chain. We were in Brantford tonight with friends we haven t seen in a while, they travelled here from the Soo, so where better to celebrate than the Keg!! Our server Dawn was wonderful and attentive. Our food was everything we expected. We waited 10 minutes for our table, the Manager came to our table, apologized that we had a delay in getting our table (we had reservations) and then let us know that he comped the drinks we ordered at the bar while waiting. not expected but appreciated. We ve been to other Kegs and Brantford is our number 1. The steaks per perfectly cooked and sooo tender. The veg (beets, broccoli and mushrooms) were awesome. The Wedge salad..well it s just my absolute fav, and I ve had it at other Keg s and it s not even comparable, I d go there just to eat that!!. Thank you Keg Brantford for a wonderful evening.

We had a terrible experience at the Kegs location in Moncton I will never forget, yet turned out to be rather good at this place. We came here for some celebrations and arrived mid week as soon as they opened. Even then we had a wait a bit and as we left later on the place became busy rather fast. The owners really did a great job here, making it look upscale and on par with many top European restaurants. The staff, all local, are very well presented, smart and helpful and our waitress was simply great. They apologised for the condition of the lobster, to come with one steak and brought one later on during which we had some great warm bread with butter, I would normally not touch at home. My steak was great too and I managed to finish it, which normally I cannot. One thing I noticed, most people did not make the effort to get dresses, with one guy not far from us speaking loudly from under a hoodie: in Europe most of such people would not be allowed in a restaurant like this without reaching a certain dress code, bearing in mind this place is not cheap either. Complimentary cheesecake, great waitress despite a few kitchen mishaps, you cannot complain really.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Keg, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of my evening was undoubtedly the steak I ordered. It was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender texture that melted in my mouth with every bite. The flavor was outstanding, with a perfectly balanced combination of savory and smoky notes. It was truly a steak lovers dream come true. However, the incredible steak was not the only reason why my experience was so memorable. The service provided by Katrina, our server, was truly outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a delightful dining experience. From recommending the perfect wine pairing to promptly attending to our needs throughout the evening, Katrinas attention to detail and warm demeanor truly elevated the overall experience. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Filet Mignon cooked to perfection, Caesar salad and Caesar Brussel Sprouts were divine. A fantastic Bottle of Wine and, of course, Billy Miner pie for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal.

There with work colleagues. Great mushroom Neptune mmm. Had the blackened chicken, unfortunately my garlic mashed had salt already on top when served to me. So much salt, it was crunchy, yeuch. I dont use a lot of salt. Certainly increased my water intake for rest of the night

Great gluten free accommodation. Made me feel safe and delicious as always.

Service was always good, but been there two times in a row now where they messed up cooking a steak. We ordered a medium and it came out bloody and cold. TWO seperate times! The second time they took it back and brought it back and it was still the same but more charred as they tried to reheat it. The servers and the managers were nice and came to help with the situation, but in the end we came to eat and got disappointed. Been going to The Keg for years now at other locations in the GTA with no issues ever, but this location has been off every visit so far.

Was seated at a table with a broken light above the table . The shade was missing which turned into a floodlight/spotlight... very hard on the eyes asked to move to the table next to us and the manager said It was reserved and placed a reserved sign on it . The light was so bright it was giving myself and my partner a head ache . Manager told us she couldnt move us had no tables despite many open tables . Gave us two options take our food to go our pay for our drinks and leave . When I accepted the offer to pay for drinks and leave manager all of a sudden had a place to move us to ....unfortunately our dining experience was sullied at that point and we choose to go to a different location. Not what I would expect for an establishment that charges as much as the keg . Should be able to maintain their building . Managements attempt to resolve issue left us feeling like they didnt value our buisness.

Great food, great staff and a wonderful atmosphere.

My parents who are in their 80s were there yesterday (Feb 1) for my mothers 81st birthday. They had reservations at 6:30 and arrived early. They didnt get served once seated for a long wait. Didnt get their bread plate even longer. They were starving. They didnt get out until 9 pm due to the service and time it took to get their food. If you were busy, you should have given complementary drinks or discount. Instead you made 2 seniors sit there and give them sub par service. If you were understaffed, you shouldnt let other customers in until you can handle the ones presently there. As you can guess this has upset me a lot hearing of their experience there.

Music is to loud in my opinion

2nd visit in Feb 2024 did not disappoint. Jen was great - it was very busy, but service was good and wait times were reasonable. Prime rib with seafood oscar and salmon main dishes were good, but the tuna tartare and billy miner dessert were stand out items, and onion rings were also well done. Steak prices have gone up and we were glad we had a gift card. We wouldnt visit for a full price visit personally - our bill was $150 plus tip for 2 mains, 2 soft drinks, 1 side share of onion rings, and sharing 1 app and dessert. We felt that was a lot. 2023 visit - we dont visit the Keg often and this was our first visit to this location, and its our best Keg experience to date. Tom provided great service and was friendly and professional. All of the food was also great - calamari app, prime rib steaks with twice baked potatoes and bearnaise sauce, and a creme brulee to finish. Atmosphere on a Saturday night felt relaxed even though it was a full house and busy. The ambiance was just right (other Kegs weve been to are too dark with their lighting). Nothing but positive comments about our experience.

So foood was great but when i go out for dinner with my wife and the host puts us litterly in a corner 2 feet away from a family having dinner and my wife and i cant even have a conversation without the people next to us hearing all of it and paying $130 for meal it is a little ridiculous thank fulllly are waitress agreed that are seats sucked and ket us move to a more private table so we could actually talk well trying to enjoy are meal together. I still dont think my meal was worth what we paid for it and the experience definitely was not worth it over hyped over priced you bettter wearca suit and tie or you get stuffed in corner with the rest of the riff faff

- Went on February 13 sat in a booth in the bar area - understaffed at the beginning - I ordered the Sirloin Oscar - steak came without the toppings - I had to point that out they said it may be at the counter as a side. I have never had to assemble my own Oscar - not the same when they bring you the food items and you have to assemble it yourself Server said she punched it in correctly and the kitchen must have missed it - we go often and this one was very disappointing. Went there for a late lunch on December 15 Love that they are open for lunch in December. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated. Our server Dani was fantastic along with all of the other staff. It happened to be a special on Margaritas that day and they were made perfectly. The food was very good as well. Great specials in the bar at certain times. We will definitely be back

WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST ANY KEG ASIDE FROM THIS LOCATION!! Develins & Speekezzies is a much better option for fine dining in Brantford. The absolute worst keg you could ever go to, if you wanted to attend a keg where youd be treated properly & have good service, the Hamilton locations are actually worth while. The Brantford Keg is run down, dark and gross atmosphere to spend your time in. Let alone the fact that none of the grill cooks know how to cook a steak aside from Chevron!

I had the 10oz prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and it was delicious as always! I would definately get it again! My sister in law had their pork chop special, a tomahawk pork chop with a mustard glaze and cherry sauce for dipping. She said it was very good! My brother had a burger. He said there had to be about an 8 to 10 oz of meat on it! We all we be going back again.

My girlfriend wanted to go out for a random dinner tonight, was craving a good steak and suggested The Keg. This was actually the first time I had ever been to one, as I usually avoid large steakhouses as Im generally disappointed with what I get. I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the meals we received here. Our steaks (both 10oz filet minion) were cooked exactly as we asked (and perfectly at that!) We both went for the shrimp and scallops oscar, her with veggies and myself garlic mashed potatoes, and we shared the caeser brussel sprouts (everything was absolutely excellent!). We started with escargot and the mushrooms neptune. Topped it all off with a creme brulet. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. Service and food were both great (even though they were really busy). Will definitely be back again!

Dec 22nd, 2023, Anniversary dinner with friends. Had the shrimp cocktail and lobster tails. Shrimp were very large and could almost be a meal on their own. Cocktail sauce was very spicy but good. Lobster tails were nicely cooked and also a good size. Butter sauce appeared to have something in it that helped the butter stick to the dipped lobster pieces. Rice that came with the lobster was bland but we were so full from the shrimp and lobster we couldn t eat much of the sides anyway. Haven t been to The Keg for sometime, so was pleased with our meal. Worth what we paid.

We took our Granddaughter for her first time. She had a filet 10oz with twice baked potatoe, we had parm oinion rings for appetizer. I had a keg burger( my first $22 burger) great burger and fantastic food all around. Prices were higher however everything has gotten more expensive and you get what you pay for quality wise... Outstanding visit and we will be back ALWAYS AWESOME !!

I have been going to this location for many years now and I have always been happy with both the service and the food. Unfortunately tonight was not the same. I ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were alright but not hot at all. I had the filet migon with mashed potatoes and asked for my steak well done. Well my steak was pretty pink inside and potatoes were lukewarm. Our waitress didnt come check on us so we flagged down a manager who came and took my food back to the kitchen. I had cut my steak up and he put it back on the grill in pieces and he brought it back to me like that. I must say my whole experience this evening was very disappointing.

Went there with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Right from entering the restaurant (without reservations) till we left, we were made to feel special. The recommendations, by our server Holly, were spot on. The food was delicious and the nonalcoholic cocktail made was fabulous. To top it all, they presented us with a free dessert with a candle on it. Thank you Holly and other staff members of the Keg (Brantford) for a super experience.

This location is always great with excellent service staff. Add in The Keg top quality menu for drinks & food and its a winning combo. To avoid the huge weekend lineups, go before 5 or after 7:30pm or book online w OpenTable. Parking: Ample parking but may have to walk a few minutes during weekend rush.

We ordered a MASSIVE takeout order (for 7 people) on a Saturday night. The woman taking the order over the phone was extremely diligent in confirming what I was asking for. They made it quickly which was also amazing. And even triple checked it before they handed off our order. The entire meal (4 apps, 7 entrees and 4 desserts) were absolute perfection. Such an amazing team. Thank you!

The staff were beyond amazing... I really felt for them, lots of stuff going on and always had a smile, helped out, always there to fill drinks and bread. The Keg as a whole, looks the same when it opened... what you expect from a franchise. You seen one, you seen them all. The food was decent but for the amount you pay, knowing you are paying more when you go there in tge first place, but when you order food at these prices, I would like to think Im getting better than decent. Overall the experience was good. The staff is what makes the place, I think.

Truly one of the memorable dining experiences Ive ever had...from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, it was a magical night.

The service provided by our server was fantastic, even during busy weekends at the restaurant. Despite the high activity, he remained attentive, friendly, and displayed a high level of professionalism. Our food was served promptly, allowing us to truly enjoy it amidst the excellent ambiance. Consequently, we plan to return to the Brantford Keg, as it remains one of our favorite establishments in the Keg chain.

Everything was excellent. Our server was great and the food was awesome. Peppercorn steak!

If you want a tasty meal with great food and excellent service in a lovely environment, the Keg in Brantford is the place to be. Server was attentive but not pushy or overbearing. Manager stopped by to enquire about our meals. Had a wonderful time. Gift cards are a great idea for the person who seems to have everything.

This was the first time we have ever been to the Keg we were celebrating our 6 year anniversary and We could not stop saying how amazing the food, service and experience was. Thank you so much to the chefs and to our wonderful waitress Laura for everything!

This is our first restaurant in Brantford where everything is just top notch. Thanks to the company that invited us for dinner. The staff is very attentive and nice. The food is incredibly tasty, we ordered 6 different dishes, coffee, dessert and everything is incredibly tasty! Thank you for that. Do not lower your level, but only grow higher.

This was probably the worst dinning experience I ve had at an upscale restaurant. Our server tried her best to check on us but overall the service was quite slow. The Calamari was not the best. My prime rib was the worst I ve ever had, after the second bite I gave up and decided to have the smallest serving of mash potatoes I d ever seen. Next to the mash my plate was overwhelmed by crispy onion flakes. Reminiscent of lower tier restaurant. My wife was also disappointed with her lobster tail dinner, she said it was bland and didn t complete her meal. I ve been a long time supporter of the Keg, I paid for my meal but I left extremely disappointed. At the end of the day a $50 prime rib in the garbage.
