Basically everything from Gilles is great minus the pizza. Unfortunately the pizza and cheese were very undercooked and the dough had a very odd cornmeal taste to it. Had to toss the pizza out and unfortunately won t be coming back . Food : 1/5

We just started ordering from Gilles and the experience has been amazing! I got the Taco in a bag (Well really in a box LOL) but it is just a bang for its buck! DELICIOUS! I got mine with light lettuce and Salsa and my bf got his normal. Let me tell you, it was devoured in minutes! On a side note, they have so many options that is so hard and tempting not to order it all! We walked in, ordered and it was ready within 10 mins! I will definitely be going back!

Ordered pizza for the first time. The brick oven sauce was so delicious, bacon was real bacon strips and the pizza was had a very thin crust. Will definitely be going back. Watch out strombolis, this place could have you beat, especially with customer service

When they advertise poorly and you order something based on the picture they posted (that wasnt labeled as anything special and looked like a normal poutine) they post your name and publicly shame you on their facebook ...... I would never reccomend ordering anything from this business as its the most unprofessional thing a business could do !

9$ for delivery and we are very close. We canceled couldn t justify the 9$ when the pizza was 12$. Pizza however was very good the first time, we couldn t wait to order again. The second time it came with very minimal cheese and was over cooked in a bit dry so we decided we wanted to try again. Also, unfortunately, the older lady on the phone is not very friendly. The younger lady on the phone is very friendly. The first time I ordered the pizza I would ve rated at five stars. So maybe a hit and miss place. Kinda disappointed cuz that first order was fire.

Burger was undercooked and bun was mush. Couldn t eat it Fries were just meh.

I am fairly new to Brantford and have been working my way the the menu. Everything is absolutely delicious! I have yet to have one item that is not some of the best I have ever tasted. Thanks for the great menu and great prices!!!!

If youre looking for some different fried foods, unique pizzas or a good quality panzerotti/calzones this is the place to go. Been here a few times. My husband has gone for the more unique items like the pickle pizza. I went with a calzones and ended up having enough leftover for lunch.

highly recommend ordering from here . Their customer service is by far the best in town (my opinion) Their pizza is excellent especially if made with their awesome sauce . Their wraps are made with the freshest ingredients. Top must tries would be the pizza , caesar wrap , boneless wing-its , and poutine . Been ordering here for 3 years never disappointed

Worst poutine in town. Do not buy! Got one a few days ago and was handed a pile of mush with hardly any toppings on it. Waste of my money.

We had the meat lover burger (amazing), Buffalo chicken poutine (very nice), pickle spears (very nice) and my wife got a normal chicken burger. Very good stoner food. Was thoroughly enjoyed

Unless you want food from a daycare I would go elsewhere . They constantly have kids (staffs children in there) according to research that should not be happening its unsanitary and dangerous . I have ordered 6 times now 5 times they had their children in there . All 5 of those times my food was undercooked, overcooked or ice cold . 2 times it took 10 minutes for a employee to come to the front to take my order all while a employee with a small child sat out front watching me wait The awesome sauce Pizza isnt even a pizza the moment you pick it up it falls apart . Its thinner then a dime even when you ask for thick dough . The wings and grilled chicken for wraps are always dryer then the dessert . Popcorn Chicken has more air then the chicken . The cheesecake isnt made with real Cream cheese you can tell by the taste . Their burgers are always made sloppy and falling apart . Their Chicken tenders are so small that the price isnt worth it . And they charge you $6 plus tax for a salad that your require to put together and the Panz/Calz or mainly dough

I ve been going to this place for years and would usually recommend it to others but lately there is no consistency. You re never going to know if your food will be too wet or too dry, too cooked or not cooked enough. If the food is made well it will be delicious but it s hard trusting when so many times it s been bad :/

Had literally the best pizza Ive ever had from this place! Fair prices, high quality ingredients. Bacon on the pizza is real not that bacon crumble stuff! Had a couple others that were still great, but if you get the awesome sauce you should know its very sweet. Panzerotti was also excellent. Still need to try more of the menu but really recommend this place!

Called ahead to place an order of a sandwich, poutine and salad. When I showed up I asked if I could take the salad off the order and the woman with red hair was very rude, rolled her eyes and said, it s already made she could ve been nicer with her response. I didn t know it was a made salad poor customer service. The salad didn t have dressing on it, fries taste like card board

Food is always great, fast, and hot even when we live 15 minutes out of town. We had an issue where our payment was charged twice (no ones fault, just a weird glitch) on our delivery order and was quickly refunded the same night even though I said no rush. Great customer service. Great food.

Tried Gillies for the first time yesterday and was surprised by the great wings! Lots of flavour choices and great value as well. We will certainly be back.

Pizza was good. Good toppings lots of sauce. Location is a different story. A lot of strange activity around the parking lot while I was waiting to pick up my food.

Everything was just ok. Things were over fried making them hard and a bit burnt tasting. Not impressed with the rotten lettuce put on my burger. Picked it off and tossed it. Prices were reasonable.

The staff is always friendly, our family always loves our treats and pizza. Its one of our favorite pizza joints!

Ordered a taco bag and some wings, asked for the taco bag to be made second so it wasn t cold , they made it first let it sit for 30 mins well making the wings , it was cold a gross and didn t have sour cream. The wings were under cooked just ended up throwing it all away.

Love the Crispy Chicken Wrap and their Ice Cream, Mac n Cheese bites, Perogies, Popcorn Chicken, Potato Wedges are all awesome tasting from here!!!

Food is alright. Menu items range from $5 to $40.. they are also known for their selection of Chapman ice cream available all year, ice cream bowls, cakes and single size frozen cheesecakes. The service is friendly enough but seems Im always waiting longer than other places. Odd hours .. opens around 3pm closes around 9,pm. Pizza is just ok IMO and they dont sell it by the slice which is how I buy the majority of pizza.

First time trying Gillies and expected better based on reviews. $15+ for a substandard grilled chicken caesar wrap and fries. The chicken was dry as dust and the fries were limp and soggy. Half of it went in the garbage.

I love taking my grand kids to Gillies. This is exactly what they want when they are being treated by the grandfather. Thank you Gillies and staff !

We ordered a panzarotti, loaded garlic bread and pickle pizza. The food was good! But I ordered at 2pm for a 6pm pick up and I waited 30 minutes. It was on a Wednesday which right now is designated as Take Out Wednesday at the moment so they were busy and they gave us a discount card and were very apologetic.

I heard amazing things and had to give it a try. Im thinking and hoping maybe I just ordered on the wrong day or ordered their less desirable items. I had to throw the pizza out. Crust was like cardboard and the actual pizza was under cooked. It was the pickle pizza and I was eating chunks of cold undercooked cheese. I threw it all out. And the wings were over fried. Like burnt fried with barely any sauce. Only edible thing from my order was the garlic bread and ice cream. The ice cream was amazing.

We ordered a pizza at 6:25, was told it would be ready in 45 mins. We showed up at 7:15 and were told to wait another 15 mins. The pizza was ready at 7:40. They did give two $10 off coupons for the wait

Just moved to town. Heard it was a great place. I ordered the pizza & wings. Wings were extremely burnt and no sauce on them. The pizza was disgusting. Ive seen better frozen pizzas at a grocery store.

Deff way to much food for 3 people but the food was AMAZING! It s deff a hidden gem! So glad to have seen people post about it on Facebook! Found our new spot! Affordable & delicious!

30 minutes for a buger and poutine. Then when I finally get it the burger is cold. Not to mention its too expensive. I dont mind paying or waiting but it better be quality. I wont be back

Service was ok. We had 4 lbs of mild wings and 1 lb of hot, french fries and onion rings. Mild wings were fantastic. Hot wings were not very good. The breading was falling off them, basic hot wing sauce nothing original. French fries are frozen shoestring fries and they were over cooked, rock hard. Good portion of them though. Onion rings are just your basic mccain frozen rings, meh. I would go back for the mild wings for sure

I really wanted to like their pizza. The crust is not good and I just dont understand how anyone likes sweet sauce on pizza. Its not awesome. It just aint right.

Picked up a poutine and a pound of wings today after receiving a coupon in the mail. I called and placed an order and was able to get my food within 20 minutes. The portions are RIDICULOUS. The large poutine could easily feed 4 people. The chicken wings were generously sauced and well cooked. Excellent greasy junk food - just what I wanted! I will definitely be back to try more menu items (I saw some homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches that were chocolate chip cookies, filled with ice cream, rolled in reeses pieces - yes, please)! Give them a try - glad to support a neighborhood business.

Very nice food at a very reasonable price.

The place is usually great, and MOST of the staff are amazingly kind people, but some of the younger women working there, are often ignorantly ridiculing customers in a very obvious way, and constantly having to wait for these same people to finish socializing with their friends until you can pick up your order or even make a request is pretty dissatisfying.

Best pizza in town!

Was super expensive for what we got, pizza tasted a bit different, 3 of us ended up with food poisoning that s lasted days. Never again.

They make great food and are friendly people working there. They have a variety of food on there menu. They also helps out a variety of charities in and out of the community. Best advice is go there and enjoy there there items off the menu.

I really enjoy eating here with friends. The staff is suprisingly quick for how limited in numbers they are, and the food is great and relatively cheap as well.

Great pizza and the worst pizza it all depends on who makes it. There is no quality control and you need to look in the window to see if you should order or go to next place. So apparently Gillies owner only accepts reviews that are positive. If you look at my reviews most will have constructive criticism based on my experience. My review of Robbys pizza and wings right next door is very positive. Sorry if every time my family came in we had a different experience. You should really ask why I had a different experience not complain that I stated it in a review

Good food nice staff

$40 for 2 large wedges and a large pizza. Each wedge was a 1/4 potato with no flavour in the batter whatsoever. Unless you like the flavour of a mouth full of dry mashed potatoes. Pizza was OK at best, no texture, like eating cold mozzarella sticks. We picked up as its a local pizza joint but I have now learned a very expensive lesson. Never again.

Called a new pizza place on a whim. Ordered two large 3 topping pizzas. The pizza was ready on time and the taste is incredible. In a city full of cheap pizza with light toppings, here youll find quite the exception. Was wonderful start to finish. Thank you!

Been going to Gillies since they opened. We order from there 2-3 times a week my kid goes there all the time for lunch in the school year. I love that it s a family owned buisness and they have an amazing selection of food and desserts!! The only thing I m noticing over the last 2 weeks is that sometimes it seems to be rushed or maybe to many things are being done at once. The last 2 times I ordered the broccoli and cheese nuggets (which 99% of the time are AMAZING) they have been cooked to long they are dark and quite hard when normally they are nice and soft and a nice golden colour. Please please take a little more time on items cause I love you guys and don t wanna lose one of my fav places to get munchie foods and quick dinners. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for always giving back to our community!!

This place is delicious. The pizza is great n the fries etc are good too. They also have amazing things not sold everywhere like nacho bites cauliflower bites. The nacho bites are cheese surrounded with a coating of something that includes crushed nachos. Cauliflower bites are chunks of cauliflower covered with batter n deep fried. I eat mine dipping them in their amazing beef gravy. Ive also had their hot beef dinner which had huge chunks of roast beef n was a big dinner for around $10. I recommend this place 100%

Love their pizza subs & ice cream

Thank you for the food poisoning. Ordered here and thought it would be a great experience looking at the menu, but I was very wrong. 1) pogo was rock solid, completely burnt that it crunched like a burnt fry that was stuck at the bottom of the fryer. 2) battered mushrooms were not cooked all the way, I could taste raw batter. 3) fries were also burnt and has sugar on them. 4) Mac&cheese wedges for $6 and there was only 5 tiny pieces. 5 and most importantly) I AM NOW SICK. I ve been vomiting for 3 hours now and may have to go to the hospital.

The food is awesome ! Its about time eagle place gets some sorta fast food going on! ... Only thing Ive would say that could be worked on are the slices, they were awesome when you guys first opened but now they arent the greatest. The crust is soooo thin and theres barely anything to it! So only complaint would be to fluff them slices up and no complaints Id have!
