This place smells like sewage, we walked out.

I recently dined at my thai and had an exceptional experience! The staff were warm, friendly, and professional, making me feel right at home. The Drunken Noodles were incredible perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients and an amazing balance of flavors. The inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for any occasion. I can t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Tried their cuisine a couple of times, and the food and services was decent overall, but the mango sticky rice was not as good as weve had elsewhere.

Just had dinner at My Thai in Brantford. Once again,the food was Amazing. Can not say the same for the waitress. Someone is in need of Re-Training. Very rude among other things. Angelo Food

Ordered pad Thai. I pretty much got a plate of gummy noodles. 2 shrimp and 2 pieces of chicken. No vegetables at all. Very disappointed

The fresh rolls were good and the vegetables fried rice but the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken was so bad I had to dump it and to think that I spent $83 makes me angry,

Simply the best Pad Thai Ive had in a very very long time. Full of flavour, richness and tanginess. Great texture. Their peanut sauce is also excellent. Weve tried looking for great pad Thai from all over, this has ruined us for all others to the point where we wont order anyone elses because well be disappointed if its not comparable. Their panang curry is also very good, but the pad Thai though, fantastic. You know a place is good when they absolutely nail the basics

If you are looking for Vegan options with a stint for Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, then this is a good place to be. All menu items with (VG) tag can be built out as Vegan. Nice spacious place, priced a little on the higher side, but even then its worth it.

Excellent dining and delicious food

Pad Tai was a bit too sweet, other than that it was a great lunch, all three of us enjoyed our various dishes. Great service too.

Unripe green mango in salad disappointing

Our first time at MY Thai as we were travelling. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and plentiful. We shared the Appetizer Assortment which is incredible. I ordered the Drunken Noodles w/ Beef which was enough to share, while my husband had the Tom Yum Soup. Everything was tasty except be warned, hubby could barely eat as it was very spicy. He thought he would be alright as he s had it before at other restaurants but in this case it was very spicy. Overall it was a very good experience. Our waitress was polite & efficient.

Food was expensive and not good at all. Only worth half the price at most. They have work to do

The quality and protein portions of the food has been slipping recently which is a shame. It used to be our go to place for a take out dinner, but after 2 consecutive disappointing experiences, Im sorry to say we will no longer be going here.

Our Pad Thai & Green Chicken Curry were amazing. So delicious. Spring rolls too. But that s not the whole story. As I was driving to the restaurant I saw 2 homeless people at the lights. I told the employee that I wanted to buy them food unless they had any extra I could give them. The employee comes back with a bag & says the customer had cancelled the order & I could take it. I was so touched. He could have take it home to his family- but he contributed to this need. When I handed the food to the freezing couple they were crying- they were so appreciative. I told them where the food came from. Such a generous, kind deed on a very cold night. Nice way to start 2024!

We were very displeased in our recent order from My Thai. Upon our order arriving, we saw that our take out dishes were only half way full. This was incredibly frustrating as the cost of these dishes was between $20-25. Our orders also did not come with rice. We have never been to a Thai restaurant before where you paid $20 for a meal and it did not include rice. When we called to complain, the customer service was not positive. It is despicable that for $110 we did not get enough food to feed 3 people. Needless to say, they have lost our business.

I don t know what to say about this place. I am from Chicago and we have some of the best Thai restaurants by me. This is simply low quality Thai food. 15 minutes takeout turned into 40 minutes of waiting. Pad thai has a fishy flavorless taste to it and has barely any chicken. The Cashew chicken lacks chicken. We also did not get our rice we asked for. Would not recommend. choose another thai!

Decided to try this place tonight as Nine North is closed. Can t eat we will be returning. Portion sizes are minimal. Ordered - spring rolls (4 is an order), tasteless Beef pad Thai - the beef was tough as leather, the actual pad Thai itself tasted like it was old. The noodles at the bottom of the container were hardened and we were not able to eat them. It was as if the fish had been sitting for two days in the container. Curry - had the Madaman and it was actually quite tasty. Thank god we had this dish as we used the curry sauce to drown the pad Thai and make it palatable. Not worth the $60

A great experience!

When I first moved to Brantford this was the best recommended place for Pad Thai. Ive been here only 1 year and the recipe has changed 4 different times. Used to be sweet and spicy, the really sweet, then really spicy, and now its dry and disgusting. It tastes and smells like week old fish soup. There was 1 shrimp and 3 peices of chicken, no green onion or bean sprouts, more tofu than noodles (which I never asked for tofu). I used to love eating here but not sure I can order from here again. Place has just gone downhill, so sad.

The appetizer dish for two I picked up and it was all over cooked and dark dark brown. Also when I paid for an extra roll they just give you half a roll? I ended up throwing half of it away as too chewy from being overcooked. The Tom Yum soup though was excellent.

I grew up going to the My Thai in Ancaster, when we moved to Brantford I was SOO happy they had one here as well. Not to mention, tastes just as delicious and great presentation!

Paris location. Mango salad with shrimp. Very little amount of shrimp added for $3 extra (4). Mango chunks very big! Not bite size pieces....would be nice to have slices of mango Julienne style so the salad doesnt require a knife to eat! Flavour was good overall.

My Thai Brantford. Terrible. What happened to this restaurant. It used to be good but has gone down hill. Ordered a dish I really like in November and it was not good. They changed the noodles in the dish and it was not an improvement. Ordered Pineapple Curry dish in December. Picked it up and when I got home it was a completely different meal. When I called the restaurant it was like I was bothering them about my situation. They were going to give me a credit but it would expire in a month. TODAY ordered pineapple chicken for pick up again. Guess what, it was a completely different order again. When I was speaking with the Manager I was letting him know about my experience since November and his comment to me was please, be respectful and lower your voice. Excuse me but I havent even started to raise my voice. It seems the Manager cannot take any criticism as he really wasnt even listening to what I was saying. Suffice it to say, 3 times and your out so I will not be going there again.

Ordered the Sweet & Sour noodles with chicken, as well as the coconut shrimp. Noodles were tasty - chicken was white meat and seasoned well. The coconut shrimp was awful. The coconut was burnt and the box they came in, full of grease. Too bad, as the only one to eat the shrimp, was to peel off the coconut. Parking: Lots of parking available

Having eaten at this location near 20 times I can say it is very inconsistent. Too many times the curries have been way over seasoned. The pad Thai has been absolutely lifeless and tasting so bland. The last 2 times that I have dined in the service has been poor and negligent. Where are all the authentic Thai dishes on the menu? The wok dishes taste very one noted and incomplete. This simply is not authentic Thai cooking. There is not a balance of flavour in any of the dishes. I would not recommend this Thai food restaurant to friends or family

Save your money, food is so expensive and not worth it AT all. Al Most $40 for dry inedible pad Thai and Tom Yum soup with three pieces of chicken. There are such better places around. Food

Quite surprised that this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. When I called I was told that because its an old building the owner cannot make it accessible. I asked if a portable ramp could.be used but the manager said no. Disappointed!

Ordered through skip. Food was hot on delivery. Kudos to the driver. Food was so so. Drunken noodle though abundant with veggies, lacked any punch. Zero spice. The traditional Pad Thai was OK. Again no zest with minimal spice. Lots of peanuts. Spring rolls are factory made. Easy to tell. In house chili dipping sauce was oil and a few flakes. Underwhelming. In house may be better. Not as good as Burlington restaurant. But middle of the road.

I placed an order through Uber Eats for $63.28. I cancelled almost immediately after ordering, but I was charged the full amount. I contacted Uber and they said tough luck pal, once the order is placed, you can cancel but both Uber and the restaurant are entitled to payment. So I got the bill and no food. Thats criminal. Never again! See ya My-Thai! See ya uber! Edit: I see the restaurant replied saying it is unfair of me to give them a bad review. Yet they happily took my money and delivered nothing, so yah, you are not blameless in this transaction. Nice try though.

Went here for a dinner with the fam. Food is good and ambience is cozy but could improve some lighting to warm up atmosphere. We regretted to order the $8 soup, not just it taste bland but it also comes on a small saucer-like cup.

BIG PORTIONS, AMAZING TASTE, ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING! I ordered My Thai through UberEats the other week and it was amazing! I got the Emerald Curry w/ tofu and Jasmine Rice, it was soo much food :)) They give you lots of curry sauce and TONS of vegetables. It s also not too spicy, and they used all eco-friendly packaging which I really appreciate And you ll definitely have leftovers for the next day. Might I add, it s also woman-owned!! Been eating here for about the last decade with my family, and I ve always loved their food. Never had any issues, even when dining in. Highly recommend if you re looking for great Thai food and a friendly restaurant experience.

Beautiful & clean restaurant with really yummy food. If you are a vegetarian, this is an amazing restaurant to try. All their dishes were filled with really yummy ingredients and lots of colorful vegetables. This is a cozy joint and we will definitely be back when visiting Brantford again.

Ordered pad Thai and spring rolls. The spring rolls were good. The pad that not so much. Not much flavor and only got one shrimp and a couple pieces of chicken in my dish. Not impressed for the price I paid.

My Thai is by far one of my favorite restaurants and I go there on a regular basis for lunch with my coworker. Todays experience was extremely disappointing as a result of our server. When we arrived, there was only one other customer in the restaurant. We were seated and she brought us water and immediately left without a word. She did not welcome us or ask if we know what we would like to order or if we needed a minute to look at the menu. If she had, we would have told her we know exactly what we would like to order without looking at the menu. After about 5 minutes of waiting, my coworker got up to ask if we can put in our order because we are on our lunch break. She came to the table and scolded her, repeating twice that she has other work to do and she is the only server. To be honest, she seemed to be annoyed that we were even in the restaurant to begin with and was further bothered by her request to put our order in. When she brought our food to the table, she left again without saying a word. She did not check on us once to ask if we needed anything. We couldnt even get a beverage. As we ate, she cleaned one table, sorted papers at the hostess stand, sat at the bar and avoided our table completely. My family owned a successful family restaurant for 45 years in Brantford. I served tables in that restaurant for over 16 years. The customer is the first priority over all else. Ignoring and scolding customers is never ok. If I could give 0 stars, I would have. Very disappointing experience.

This placed used to be good, but is either going downhill or tonight was a bad night. Pad Thai was Ok, but a bit food courtish, smaller portions, virtually no green onion. Ordered shrimp crackers, and it only came with half a tiny sauce container.

This restaurant is awful. Ordered twice and received the wrong order both times. They blame everyone else instead of taking responsibility. The food we did receive which wasn t correct, was awful. I do NOT recommend ordering or going to this restaurant.

Worst customer service ever!!!! I have ordered chicken pad Thai for delivery after I specifically asked for no veggies no bean sprouts medium spicy and they delivered it to me with it! After I called to complain and explained myself and asked for a new order they refused and said they will give me the email address of the owner that I should email her and complain and only after she decides what to do they will be able to take care of the matter how ever they see fit. Then after I told them I will write a bad review they all of a sudden agreed to send me another pad Thai but not for free no.. I had to pay the delivery fee. Not only they made a mistake not only they didn t want to send another order but after eventually they agreed to send me another pad Thai and free appetizer they charge me for the delivery fee now just so you know first pad Thai the one I paid in full for arrived here in 30min. Now it s been already an hour and a half that I am waiting for my free pad Thai. All said and done great food but awful customer service.. I doubt if I ll ever order for there again. What a SHAME!!!!! Edit : the pad Thai arrived and arrived cold and again this time no veggies but also not spicy when I asked for medium spicy and the appetizer they promised for free well guess what ?? They didn t send anything!!! No appetizer!!! Definitely won t be ordering for there again!!!

The order was accurately put together. I had beef Pad Thai and asked for spicy. However, I did not find it spicy at all.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but I had a take out meal during the pandemic that was so awful I cant face giving them another chance. Even thinking about it makes me gag. Sai Thai Kitchen has much tastier, fresher food and they are very accommodating to special requests.

I m a huge My Thai fan so after a few bad experiences I felt the need to write a review. My coworkers and I would order once a week! After the pandemic the prices went up (understandably) but the portions got smaller, inconsistent and the quality has gone way down. No flavour with the pad Thai or noodle dishes in general. When it s an exceptionally bad day I receive a seasoning on the top of my noodles, I m assuming to mask the fact the dish is over cooked and has 0 taste. This has happened a few times. I recently picked up lunch for everyone and after the entire group was disappointed I will no longer be a regular costumer and I m so sad about it! Please read your reviews and take this feedback into consideration.

My friend convinced me to try this place again after previously having a horrible/ tasteless experience. I did not think it was possible for my pad thai dish to me worst than last time but they somehow managed. My noodles were so overcooked it was borderline goop! For close to $20 this is RIDICULOUS

My first time ever trying here or even Thai food in general. Got the spicy noodles, for me personally it was not spicy at all only reason its not a 5 star. Your results might vary though as I eat spicy food daily pretty much. Portion sizes are good not to small but not to much either. Everything tasted nice and fresh , including the chicken in the dish. Might be a little on the pricey side of food but I dont mind paying it especially if its a quality meal which this was. Very friendly staff upon picking up my food.

First time trying this place(brantford location). My girlfriend and I just bought a house around the corner. It is the closest place to our house and we are delighted that it is so good. Made a custom order today and the staff were accommodating of the request. And it was delicious! We both had pad Thai and would highly recommend . Thanks for the great food guys see you again soon!

Dine in was not available but take out was. While waiting for my order, the young lady was friendly and pleasant. She made the short wait nice while engaging me in conversation. And oh, BTW the food was delish. I had the Mango Chicken.

Good value for great Thai food.

Just picked up an order not long ago, first time ordering here to try and stay local but make a change from our usual haunts. Sadly I was given tofu in my green curry instead of chicken as was ordered, quite disappointing as that makes a huge difference in the overall meal.

Im a celiac and we order from here regularly because they have gluten-free options. Tonight, I unfortunately got misinformation and my meal contained gluten. Thankfully I noticed it before I ate any, called to inform them and I got a replacement meal delivered ASAP. Great Customer Service. Great Food.

The freshness of these meals are amazing. And the taste is just as spectacular. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. This place is definitely worthy of becoming a repeat customer for, just as I am. Lots of parking and a very clean establishment.

So disheartened from this place! Ordered spicy noodles with no chicken for pickup. Was in a hurry so didn t have the chance to look at my order, came home and guess what was on it chicken! Called them went to voicemail cause they close at 8 so thought maybe they ll call me back in the morning they didn t. Called them back at 1 pm the next day and they were understanding but when asked to get it delivered for free they were making up excuses. Finally got it delivered and opened it up, 1. There was tofu, never asked for it but whatever 2. The quantity was so low especially since I go there often and they pack it up all the way with tons of vegetables and mine had maybe 5 pieces of broccoli/green beans and half the box of noodles. I was trying to be understanding the whole time on the phone due to working in customer service myself but if this is their way of treating their customers when they have a communication error on their side then it s safe to say I m not too eager to go back there anytime soon.

Our pad Thai tasted like it had been sitting around all day. It was very very dry. Also the fresh spring rolls are such a rip off! It was all lettuce inside and should have been advertised as two rolls, since that is all they give you. For $45, there should have been a lot more food.

My Thai is by far the best Thai food option in Brantford. They have so many delicious meals, and I keep discovering more. The staff are always friendly, the pricing is fair, and the food is always ready quickly and comes out hot! Ive used the take-out service and dined in, both are great.

Thank you so much MY THAI for the yummiest feast of Thai food on this side of the ocean!!! You fed our twenty plus hard working volunteers the most scrumptious, array of perfectly spiced Thai dishes! Everything from coconut shrimp to Penang Curry to Pad Thai to Chicken Fried Rice, plus, plus, plus . and it was ALL sooooo good and the beat part was that there were leftovers, even after everyone piled their plates high!!! You were so generous!!! I meant to take a picture but when the food arrived it smelled sooooo heavenly and was piping hot, that taking pics was the farthest thing from our minds!!! We all just dove in!!! But it was beautifully presented and like I said devoured in a heartbeat!!! You are definitely MY THAI restaurant!!!! I spent nearly 20 years in Asia and you brought me home Thank you SO much!!!!

Worse ever. Bad taste bad service no sauces on the table, no knife no checking back the place was empty on dinner time. We had to go ourselves to the counter to pay. Prices are way too much no quality nothing there. Never again. one star is still too much.

Disappointed... Ordered Delivery on a Saturday night - 2 dishes VERY expensive (50.00$ for two dishes) and EXTREMELY small portions... We ended up having to still make dinner after because the portions were THAT small... felt so ripped off. Food itself was not bad, not amazing, but not awful. Nothing special. Fast delivery (approx 25 minutes from time we placed order) Will not be ordering again and do not recommend.

Overall a very good experience. Honestly I was expecting more like a fast food place like many othe thai places but this actually was like a resaurant with a fast food pricing, which is a big gig. The service was very good, the only thing that there was no one at the reception to help me to get seated, probably a little understaffed. The dish (as usual I get chicken pad thai - not spicy) was very well portioned and tasted good, it just wasn t hot enough to look very fresh, even though I know it was cause it tasted so (probably delayed in bringing to customer by server). Overall the experience wasn t bad, but I would highly advice management to talk to staff members to take care of everyone equally, cause I felt like I m first time in town, nobody knows me and they re not interested in providing the best service they can. I will come back here once in town cause I love thai food and this one was close to perfect.

Been going here for years for take out and I can honestly say weve never been disappointed.

I go here at least once a month for either take out or sit down (its connected to my laundromat so its a very convenient place for me) The food is always good and always hot. The staff are pleasant and willing to answer any questions about the food. Not usually busy.

Best Thai food in Brantford. My-Thai has been a favourite of ours since it was in the downtown core.

Terrible quality, recieved my food to go, and it looked like a ball of noodles, with absolutely no meat.

The food was good but its really expensive in my opinion. 2 small noodle dishes and a side of spring rolls was 50+ dollars on skip. I wont order again because of the price. Had they priced the meals reasonably especially considering the portion size I would have been a repeat customer. Its just way too much money when I can feed a family of 4 on skip from pretty much anywhere else for 50-70$ and have left overs for lunch the next day. Here 50$ barley gets you dinner for 2 and forget about having leftovers.

Picked up take out on Fathers Day, was absolutely terrible. If it was my first time buying from there I would never return. As it stands I am a regular and this was a definitely not the usual quality I have come to know and love. I am really hesitant to ever come there again

We had take out from here today and it was so bad. We threw out most of it.

My wife and I wanted to have Thia food so we drove across town 20 minutes. We arrived at 7:03pm and were told we could not be seated as they close at 8pm and stop seating people at 7pm. What a let down, not impressed.

We have been coming here for the past 10 years and never had a bad experience until tonight. Our food smelled horrible and tasted even worse! We couldnt even get one bite down so I called ahead, in hopes of avoiding a scene, to let them know I would be returning it. The owner came out and informed me that if this was Dominoes they wouldnt give my money back, etc. etc. It was completely bizarre. She was yelling at me and making no sense. In the end, I did get my money back but we will NEVER be eating here again! The customer service was absolutely horrible! Overall, a terrible experience! The owner was yelling even as I left. I could not get out of there fast enough!

Called ahead and ordered the sweet soy noodles with chicken. Soon as I opened the bag I got this wiff of burnt something. Nothing looked to be wrong. I did not really enjoy my meal. The noodles and veggies were pretty oily and every time I took a bite I smelled burnt food. The portion was also very tiny for the $15 I paid for the dish. I most likely wont be returning.

Too many things wrong and one misunderstanding. First the dishes dont come with rice. Thats news to me as Ive never had that happen in an Asian restaurant. At least they should ask if you want rice. Spring rolls were great. Pad thai was dry. We had asked for extra sauce but they forgot, probably would have solved the problem. Other dish was chicken pineapple curry. I think they added the extra sauce to this because it was like soup. The curry sauce was delicious, but there was no pineapple in it and very little chicken. I called and they are giving us a credit. So Ill update this next time I order.

Great food. Delicious Tom Yum Soup. The spring rolls had lots of flavor. The Pad Thai was perfect. Try Thai One On cocktail, its very good. The service was friendly and quick. Clean restaurant. Loved it!

The first time I came to this restaurant and ate I was blown away!!!! The food is absolutely delicious!!!. I prefer the green curry with sticky rice and also the appetizer platter that comes with spring rolls, peanut satay and a couple other items. The only disappointment Ive had is every time Ive dined in, I asked for the deep fried ice cream for desert and they never seem to have it. Overall I highly recommend eating here if you want to try something different but I do find that they are quite pricey so I only come here once in a blue moon or on a special occassion.

Ive had way better Thai food before. The fried rice seemed like it was from days ago. The most recommended curry (Emerald curry wasnt full in taste and seemed like it was watered down), the fresh spring roll came loose after just picking up the piece, the coconut shrimp was over fried, .. I was very surprised that the rating was so high. The most disturbing thing in this restaurant is the music they were playing (dont know if it is radio or cd) but it was a lot of swearing, my kids were both 9 yrs so I really didnt appreciate it. The thing that made me smile was our server (young girl) she was polite, and very innocent. The bill came to $55.83 I gave her 3 twenties and 1 ten , she returned the folder with my 1 ten and $4.17 change. Will not be going back.

The food was delicious and our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere.

Love this restaurant :). The food is so good and I love the way its served. My husband and I always order two or three different dishes and then split everything between us. The four flamed fish is always a must for us, there is really nothing on the menu that we dont like. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. Its a great spot for date night, family dinners, dinner with friends, or celebrations and its very reasonable price wise.

Ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp and it tasted quite bland. Couldnt even finish the dish, and had to take it home only to throw it away in the trash. My friends all ordered different items and they all tasted awful! The service was nice, the waitress was friendly but the food in this place needs an overhaul.

Spacious and bright decor for an unhurried meal. Prompt and friendly service. The menu is traditional Thai with all the expected curries. We (4) each chose from the set dishes of the lunch menu, a good value and recommended. Food was quite good but not the highest tier of Thai you may have ordered elsewhere. Nevertheless, you will not be disappointed and leave with a pleasant taste.

My friend and I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years now. Always liked the food and service, but both have declined in recent months . One Vietnamese waitress that looks to be in her 40s and is there often, turned us off completely yesterday by adding a service charge to each of our bills. When we enquired as to the reason she said it was because we dont tip! We always tip but did not tip the visit before because she gave us terrible service. When we told her this, she said no, you didnt tip last 2 times. My friend then asked her if she records the names of those who dont tip and she said no, I just remember faces. We were incensed to say the least! We demanded that she take the service charges off of our bill and she reluctantly did. Since when can you extort money from people at a restaurant?! This isnt Vietnam, its Canada! I will never go there again and will tell my friends. That woman needs to be reminded who the boss really is, the CUSTOMERS! Patrons watch your bills! Today we went to eat our fav pad Thai first time here very disappointed A few reasons first the plastic plates 2nd the food not cooked with spice it s not the same when you pour it on Worst is that we both fear food poisoning

My friend and I come here on a regular basis. This time when we got our bill we noticed on both our receipts there was a service fee added. When I asked our waiter about it, he explained that he didn t work at the restaurant (even though he served us) and got another waitress to explain the reason why. Now this particular woman had been our waitress once before, that time she gave bad service and we ended up not tipping her because of it. I normally do always tip when service is at least reasonable. She straight faced told us that she added the service fee because we never tip! Excuse me?! We were up hauled by her comments. I explained to her you can t just do this and told her to remove the fee off our bills. Unbelievable!!!

Absolutely love this place, the food is fresh, fast and amazing. The food is authentic and altered to fit a more Canadian flavour. They have a promising menu and the staff are very helpful, welcoming and sweet. Its one of my favourite restaurants and I recommend to everyone. To the reviews below... $60 for 3 people is not expensive? Thats $20 a person which is almost how much you pay for a mcdoanlds drive thru meal. The prices arent cheap, but they are reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food. The spring rolls are to die for as well as all the other food item. Definitely give this place a try! Its wonderful

My friend and I went to My-Thai and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The curry had just the right amount of heat and the ginger chicken had that wonderful zing that Ive come to expect. The server was pleasant and attentive, but at no time did we feel rushed. Thank you, My-Thai, for another excellent meal.
