Food is AMAZING!!! But I went to grab take out last night and they closed a whole hour early i drove all the way in from paris so i definitely wasn t happy about the drive especially feeling under the weather.

Our go to lunch spot, amazing every time!

Our go-to restaurant in Brantford when we need a break from cooking. Ive been to Pho 999 about 50 times now with my wife, and Im ready to say its consistently excellent. Under this new management, the food is always just right, and the service is impressive. Its a family business, and these people are working hard to make this place a success. I see that the parents are cooking in the back, while their adult daughter runs the whole front by herself. Shes friendly, attentive, and smart: tonight I put my menu down after filling in my order, and she appeared literally 5 seconds later to pick it up. The food comes out quickly, and the recommendations are always spot-on. I tend so far to eat either the chicken and pork chop with rice or the noodles with chicken and salad. Both are as good as any Vietnamese place Ive ever tried in Toronto. My wife prefers the pho (soup) and shes always happy when we come here. The prices are totally reasonable, and I find the meats here better cooked and prepared than at the other places. When its late, or were tired, we go here. Its our go-to. So far, Im delighted to give these hard-working people my business and a good healthy tip.

Lady at the front counter was super nice and recommended how to eat our pho - food came out fast and it was still boiling hot by the time we got home and it was delicious!!! Definitely coming back soon. We got 3 medium well-done beef pho and it was amazing!

Food is incredibly tasty here, so if you have the chance, go! I did notice a huge change in portion size in the last year. The Pho used to come with a ton of veggies. In my most recent bowl, I got a very small handful of veggies (sliced carrots, book choy, broccoli, onion, celery and red pepper) I m talking 1 or two pieces of each I ordered the fresh rolls, they are so so yummy, I would recommend them! Keep in mind, you will get two thin rolls with 1.5 full shrimp in each (they are all sliced in half). The shrinkflation is very noticeable. I paid $25 for a pho and small fresh roll.

Great pho place with plenty of options

Food was okay, but portion sizes are way too small considering the price. Most places you cant even finish the dish but I felt still hungry after eating a rice dish. Place looks clean though and the fresh rolls were good

I got take out and forgot to take a picture of my food. I have to say this is by far the best take out food Ive had in Brantford. Im just sorry it took me so long to try it. The taste was amazing, portion size was huge and everything was super fresh. I will be back weekly to order more. Thank you for a meal. The portion is too small, I ordered a large pho, the portion is about the half of other restaurant s large pho, the bowl is not even full, only half full, and the price is about the same level. Not worth it.

I have had pho in many cities and this is one of the best. Broth is very tastey. When in Brantford its my goto for pho.

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant which just gave me the ick. First off, the server was unattentive and didnt ask if we needed any help with the menu. She had air pods in the entire time we were in the restaurant. I had to walk my order up to the front because she was nowhere to be seen. She obviously had a cold because she was openly coughing as she got cups for our tea. She wasnt even making an attempt to cover her mouth. I witnessed this several times. She did the same when she was handling our cutlery. I got an assorted beef pho, which I was excited for. Unfortunately, I bit into a beef meatball which tasted rancid. Knowing that it was sitting in the broth, I couldnt even eat my dish. The server never came to check on us. When I went up to pay, frustrated, I explained that I couldnt eat my dish. I never expected her to take any money off the bill; however, I wasnt expecting the response I got. She started questioning if Ive ever had pho. When I said yes, Ive eaten it a lot, she asked me if Ive eaten it recently. She didnt even offer a feigned apology or offer to make a correction. I wasnt going to leave a review about my experience until I got this reaction from her, where she basically said I didnt know what I was talking about. In fairness, my wife enjoyed her vegetable pho.

The service was terrible 4 customers in the whole most likely 100 capacity seating area either hosts was attentive at all waited for what seem to be 10 minutes to be acknowledged let alone seated our self no refreshments was offered not even ice water then to have a can of coke placed on the table rather than being served with a glass... nor ice , the portion sizes of the meal was child size at an adult price , there was an order ticket placed on the menus as tho we was to fill them out.. which the next couple that sat next to us actually did and placed it on the counter cashiers order place I guess

I would consider myself a regular! Weekly of bi-weekly. I went today and ordered food and beverage. They forgot the beverage and when I went to let them know they said too bad, it s too busy and refused to make it. Absolutely ridiculous. Great food but I m very disappointed and I ll find a new place that values its customers.

Repurposed pizza hut turned into a pho joint- gotta love it. Food was good. Service was prompt. No complaints.

I been going with my aunt for more then a year we re basically regulars usually a great experience but we went today and IT WAS AWFUL. We love the owners daughter she s the sweetest but her dad today was not. My aunt and cousins food came after 20 minutes 35 minutes later I got brought the wrong thing then 10 minutes later another wrong thing then he accused me of ordering that I didn t so I ended up walking out and he made my aunt pay for something I wasn t going to eat. Worst experience EVER!!!! We will not be going back.

Great pho and not too expensive

Server was a sweetheart. Always a smile on her face, personable, warm and inviting. Great memory for what the kids and I want to order and never shy to offer upsell. Offering to hand delivered to vehicle is an added touch. Will definitely return.

We had ordered a Ginger Ale To make matters worse I had to e most disappointing wings I ve had in my life We ordered the D9 Thai Wings These wings were simply horrible, they smelt like the inside of a *Dish Washer* These Thai wings legitimately had no flavour what so ever, the best tasted so frozen and flash cooked A Simply Shameless Server who watches Tv, Doesn t bring water Tells you to relocate Poor communication skills had to tell him to bring out our 2.95 club soda in a can 15 minutes later with no apology Have to get his attention at the front desk which is unattended just keep in mind there was only 2 other tables with costumers

My best one so far has been one in Kitchener but its changed finally only with their taste. I personally dont care much about individual service after covid and dont really much eat out, but I can revisit there soon on a lazy Fri. maybe. :)

My family went for a brunch at Pho Vietnam. The food was good however the service by the owner was terrible. He barely acknowledged us and refused to provide an extra bowl for a shareable sized Pho. It was the weirdest experience we ever had at a restaurant. Never going back as we cannot feel more unwelcomed.

Best pho ever!

Went in an hour before closing. The parking lot was dead. Had a green curry. It was too spicy, tasteless. Hubby had a beef dish served with what looked like a couple of spring rolls that was pretty tasty. The waitress was really pleasant but, brought our dishes then, Poof! ... disappeared until we went up to pay. She asked how was the meal? I told her about my dish being too spicy and that I get the green curry to avoid spicy, she replied that yes, their green curry is spicy, and said sorry she shouldve told me. I thought about her disappearing act but never said anything. Strange experience, never again.

Pleasantly surprised at how delicious each dish tasted. Reasonable prices and good service! He noticed when we sat down, we were cold, and he quickly brought us to a warmer area without us mentioning that we were cold. We definitely will be back! Food

Garbage service. especially since they have this new gentleman walking around and serving food. Making things awkward and weird. Offering others that come after us drinks and tea. One of my favourite places for phô! I love the size options, their broth alone is really good. They have more sauce options, their drink selection is amazing (my go to is iced black peach tea with honey- chefs kiss). And I always get the crab claw to start because it s soooo good! My only con is sometimes the staff disappear to the back for too long so you end up waiting a little longer than usual (not often just sometimes) either way, love this place!

Honestly, has become mine and my girlfriend s go to restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. The pho is obviously delicious but also make sure to grab an order of spring rolls and deep fried wontons because you can t miss out on those. Not only is the food great but the staff is very friendly. (If you forget your glasses they will have them ready for you at the front when you walk back in)

The food is very good. We especially liked the spring rolls. The passionfruit drink was quite delicious. The price for the juice seemed a bit high for the portion size. Do note that they do not accept non Canadian debit cards, nor do they take credit cards so come prepared with Canadian cash.

Food is good, but the portion is very small. Say you order an XL bowl of Pho, thats roughly a M size bowl in an average pho restaurant.

The food was really good, and well definitely come back. The service was a bit slow and we had to take our own order down which was different. I had to stop someone just to get some water cause I didnt want to drink the tea provided for my whole meal. But didnt have the open for refills. Parking: The place was quite empty so there was plenty of free parking.

Pho is decent for something in Branford. Rest assure these are Vietnamese people cooking your food. The coconut smoothie is made of real coconut meat, not like your bubble tea powder. Finally a place with real coconut

My wife and I always go here when we need our vermicelli fix ! It has always been our to spot ! Food is always amazing ! It s a wonderful family that runs it and and we are there so often they remember our order or even when our order is different!

A rainy day means soup! Dinner at Pho Vietnam 999 Brantford was hit the spot! We had: Salad Rolls with Shrimp - shrimp, rice noodles, lettuce, and basil wrapped in a rice paper wrapper Vietnamese Beef Stew with Rice Noodles - braised beef in beef broth with carrots, rice noodles, and bean sprouts, basil, and lime for over the top Stir Fried Chicken, Beef, BBQ Pork, Seafood with Mixed Vegetables with Udon Noodles All dishes were fresh and tasty! Polite and prompt service.

I wasn t going to write a review, but since the man in black sweater was super disrespectful and rude when I wanted to order a take out, I decided to write one. As I think he was also rude to the other patrons. Firstly, the chicken/beef rice was cold when it got to me. The tea was luke warm. The meat was leathery and hard. The only food that was super hot, were the rolls. I didn t mind though because we had a few good dishes here last summer. So this was probably a one time event. However, when I went to approach one staff who was the only one there, to request for a takeout order after my full meal, he didn t say anything and proceeded to (what seemed to me as) as sorting my bill. I stood there and he stood there, so I asked him again if I could do a take out order. He said nothing and didn t even look at me. For a moment I thought genuinely thought he was deaf or could not speak English. Then he finally spoke to me after my 4th prompt. He can speak English after all, but chose to act rudely and looked as if he didn t want to be there.

Was completely unaware the beef would come totally raw and packaged on top of other foods, very off putting having bloody noodles and made the pho too bloody to eat. Perhaps suggest other takeout options for customers or package raw meat seperatley

We love to get takeout here. Quality is much better than when we first started coming a few years ago I think the owners changed. Our kids love the egg noodle soup with wontons and the pho and vermicelli salads are always good.

A very no-frills dining experience. I had the Pho Soup with grilled chicken.

We never got to try the food, instead of letting my husband come in and explaining they were closing soon which we would have understood, they decided to lock the door when they saw us pull in. Super unprofessional . When he was at the door trying to open it they made zero eye contact or try to explain they couldn t make food almost 40 mins before their closing time I suggest nine north they have never failed us

Passed by this pho spot while in town for a job and was genuinely happy with the food and service. The broth tasted really authentic as my fiance is Vietnamese and we have pho a few times a week. The meat tasted fresh, and the young girl who works there really went out of her way to make sure it was a pleasant experience - which if you have been to many family owned pho restaurants, it is rare to come across.

This was my first time here. And it is delicious. The pho broth was yum. I also got fresh rolls, which were good. Great size for 4 rolls. The sauce is good too. I also ordered the deep fried spring rolls and taro bubble tea and they were delicious as well. The reason for the 4 star rating is because the customer service could of been better. It was not too busy, and the waitor did not come by to see if everything was ok. They only had one waitor at that time (2:30pm). Also, when we were done our meals, I had to wave down the waitor to ask for a take-out container and then we went up and paid.

Love going here immensely, its a nice quiet place with delicious inexpensive food. The way that you order is a little different but if youre like me and need talking breaks but still want to go out then this is the place to be. Its my favorite place in Brantford Parking: Parking is fantastic, theres normally spots right against the restaurant and near the entrance.

This place is not following public health measures; Staff was not checking vaccination status and they were not wearing masks.
