The sandwiches were delicious and the service friendly and efficient. The chocolate pecan pie was WOW. Parking: Street parking spaces directly opposite.

Had pumpkin-ginger soup, egg salad on light rye, and carrot cake. All of it delicious. I was going to have the egg salad on french bread but the server pointed out that the egg salad would squish out. Helpful!

It was good - we did like it. The sandwich bread was delicious - we did like that! I also like the vibes too. But it was $30 for two cheese sandwiches and two cappuccinos. We didn t specify which cappuccino we wanted but weren t asked. It was quite small so I assume it was small. Prices were $3.50 for small $3.90 large but when she typed in the cost she typed $3.99 in. We were eating when I realized everyone was paying in cash and I began to feel anxious - I ve not been anywhere before in over ten years that did not have debit. Even a square little debit machine is only a couple hundred of dollars and allows for debit to be used. My spouse had to leave mid meal to go to the bank which didn t make it the most enjoyable. No signs stating no debit and I do see on here it s been a complaint for many years .so I m not sure why it hasn t been resolved. Unfortunately I won t be going back due to the lack of debit. They were very nice, but the lack of debit isn t great. For a pop-in lunch I can t stop at the bank everytime and it s 2023, most people that aren t elderly don t carry cash.

Still applicable comment as six years ago: We keep coming back for soup sandwich and pies, just like Moms with a modern twist. Plus, were bringing family and friends to this place. Kid friendly, accessible for reduced mobility, free (2 hour) parking nearby, and perfectly located near the tunnel; what more could you ask for!

Ham & cheese sandwiches are to die for.

Warm decor, it feels even more like home when you see the homemade pies and cakes. Dark rye bread is moist and soft. Very good sandwiches, there were 6 of us and delighted with our meal and the service!

I have gone here regularly . The soup is always excellent ! Service prompt . The only disappointing thing( which I have witnessed with many customers about to pay it s cash only ! ). So , then you have to go out to the bank across the street. Otherwise I would highly recommend .

We stopped to eat enroute from Cayuga to Montreal at Boboli Cafe in Brockville Ont. We had a Chicken Curry and Hamsty and Cheese on Dark Rye with Carrot Ginger Soup. The staff were attentive, the space cozy and food fresh/tasty. We ate on the outdoor space to enjoy the rustic period piece buildings. A calm and relaxing space to dine.

The drinks were okay. There was seating inside.

The waiter was rude, and the mocha cheesecake tasted like burnt coffee~Aly

Want a healthy, tasty place to go for lunch? This is the place! Best sandwich/soup combos, excellent fancy coffees and teas, and, did I mention DECADENT desserts made from scratch?! This is THE spot to visit morning ´t il early afternoon. Only down, it is cash only. But don t let that stop you from going.

This place is amazing! Everything here is good, their food, the staff is super friendly and their pastries are delicious (which are baked fresh every morning!) I would definitely recommend this place to everyone 10/10!!

Delicious! Had a curried chicken sandwich on French bread and a super tasty bowl of tomato roasted red pepper soup. Cup of coffee and a glass of water to wash it down. Affordable. Friendly. Vintage 1965 Vespa scooter in the window. Now a downtown favorite in Brockville for me.

I stopped here for lunch and I was so happy that all their foods are made in house and are homemade. I had their soup of the day, sweet potato peanut and a half roast beef sandwich. Just wow. The quality is phenomenal! People on here who are complaining about the price, listen, you get what you pay for. Higher prices equates to higher quality that you put into your gullet. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes healthy good quality foods.

I have been coming here for years and am never disappointed. Whenever we have guests in town, we always take them here for lunch. By far, the best place to eat in Brockville. Prices are more than reasonable- soup and sandwich for less than $10! Highly recommend the chicken curry sandwich, as well as her desserts (cheesecake is my fav) I am a new mom and have known the owner for a few years now. What blows me away, is how welcome she and her staff have made me feel over the past few visits since having my child. They help hold my little girl to let me enjoy my meal, and truly embrace us both. HIGHLY recommend

Highly recommend. I had the curry chicken sandwich, and it was the BEST sandwich Ive had in recent memory, just delicious. The cappuccino was great and the deep dish apple pie was fantastic! Kathy is delightful and the place is super cute and funky. Whats not to love? Hands down, the best food in Brockville. Check it out.

My family has been coming hear for lunch for over 20 years. Sandwiches are wonderful, the desserts are to die for, and the owner (who does most of the work) is one if the nicest people ice ever met. Baboli is an great setting for an intimate lunch, close to the water front of Brockville. Very convenient if you arrive by boat. Dont forget desert!

Great espresso!

Passed through last week and decided to stop in after seeing all the photos of the food on here. Was surprised how little there was to choose from when I arrived (2hrs after they opened). I was offered other pie options, after looking for something other than the one pie and cookies on display. Had a slice of cheesecake and sat and drank a drip coffee. It was very warm in there, minimal air conditioning used. Noticed a sandwich board outside offering non sweets and sandwiches... No signage in side. Would have had something else heartier first if I knew or it was mentioned. Drip coffee was not good. I noticed they sell their branded beans there too... If that was the same product I tasted I wouldnt recommend. Store only accepts cash but has no signage warning of it. Our order came to over $20 - a bit much for pocket change, more than warrants the cost of a debit terminal rental I believe. Overall okay, but it seems that (like most of the Brockville downtown we saw) it is geared towards the locals, despite the fact that this town is screaming for younger visitors and that related tourism income. Did not feel particularly welcomed, even in a almost empty establishment.

Food is delicious , sandwiches made fresh in front of you with homemade bread. Beware though they only take cash.

CAUTION!!! The restaurant does not accept debit or credit - no signs and they dont tell you until its time to pay. They were quite rude about sending us down the street to use a bank machine (meaning additional charges). Food was so-so.

I love the food and service in the cafe, and the simplicity! The atmosphere is also lovely, cozy and very stylish. The owner is great too. I love supporting this business. It s my favourite place to eat lunch in Brockville. Try the coronation chicken sandwich, delish.

Ive eaten here a few times on lunch break and the food has been consistently good. The major issue is they do not accept debit or credit and I rarely carry cash. There are other lunch places close by that dont require a trip to the ATM before hand, so I frequent them instead. I understand there are costs associated with having a terminal, but maybe that would be offset by increased patronage by people like myself.

The best soup, sandwiches and baked goods around town. Highly recommend!

I cant recall when Ive had a better lunch. The sandwiches are artisan and FRESH. The soup was made that morning and you can taste the freshness of the vegetables. Everything is made in-house and by hand. The cappuccino was perfect and the cookies were so good we had to have another as we left. The atmosphere was quaint, eclectic and comfortable with table service. The owner was onsite and staff was very charming and friendly. Im now finding reasons to visit Brockville again just to be able to go back to Boboli.
