Great little dinner on the edge of a railway line, a real old-fashioned little bouiboui with lots of charm. Its a family establishment full of locals with a simple but terribly effective menu. We were well received, we ate well and we can only advise you to go and take a look.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Brockville hospitality at its best when my aunt and I went to Jons for breakfast. The portions were delicious and plentiful and Jeff the chef takes pride in preparing food just right. It was so pleasant to chat with him along with the friendly family owners on our way through from Ottawa to St. Thomas. It was a long drive and the breakfast was such a great start to our day. Needless to say, we didnt need to stop for lunch because we were still full. When I make the trek again, Jons will be my go to place. Thank you once again for such a unique and enjoyable morning.

This is the place to be in Brockville. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast. Ill be back to try more of their food selections. Check it out sometime.

Its a cozy family place with good food, however it was difficult to get service/waitresses attention. They could make rounds regularly to check on tables/refill coffees.

Jons has the classic diner food and feel. Its a step back in time to comfort food and attitude. Breakfast is the quintessential meal and Jons serves the best in town. The true test of a diner are the eggs which are always great scrambled. Toast is always better at Jons. Go for the white toast. Dont know why but its so much better than home.

We recently made a day trip to Brockville from Ottawa. We arrived very early and so I did a Google search on best breakfast in Brockville Jon s restaurant came up top of list. I saved it to my iPhone contacts so that I had the address and phone number for convenience. My wife and I each had the 2-egg special with sausage. The food, the service and the experience overall was fantastic - a smaller, quaint, comfortable environment with quite a collection of rail related pictures, lanterns and other related decor which is appropriate since it is right across the tracks from the via rail station. Coffee was offered immediately, we were eating breakfast within 10 minutes and yet we stayed for quite a while chatting . I would highly recommend Jon s restaurant to anyone looking for a great spot to have breakfast in Brockville.

I LOVED the food there it was perfect and got the waitress was super kind and nice she got my order perfect.

Love this place, breakfast has never been a miss, never greasy, the hollandaise sauce actually tastes good, the service is friendly and they even remember you, the prices are more than fair, and bonus you get to see the trains go by but not be interrupted, its cosily decorated, always looks full but yet no wait times.

Best beef liver dinner

The perfect, quintessential train station diner (across the road from Brockville Via station)! The food was very good (breakfast, in our case), the staff were friendly and efficient and we loved the train decor (coffee could have been stronger for me, but my mother-in-law would have loved it--maybe my coffee tastes are off lol). Although it was our first visit, it was clear that many of the customers were very much regulars, always a good sign. We will go definitely return when the opportunity presents itself!

I had the Classic breakfast and my friend had Eggs benny with a breakfast poutine. Everything was phenomenal. Food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Best breakfast I ve had out in some time. The pan fried homefires with onions were incredible . Can t wait to go back. Love to see little mom and pop shops like this succeed over and over. Keep doing what you re doing! A+

Top notch service and food. Server and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast and it was hot and cooked perfectly. Excellent home style potatoes with onions . I had the beef barley soup to go and it was also fantastic. Can t wait to go back. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!

Took a chance traveling from Nova Scotia to Hamilton. Breakfast was top shelf very courteous staff. Worth putting on your go to place. I know we already did. The Bishop boys

What a great spot! Passed through Brockville and stopped here thanks to Trip Advisor! Best breakfast Ive had in years. Kids had pancakes, theyre huge and taste homemade . Home fries were the best part, eggs cooked perfectly. And the waitress, (sister of Jon!) was so sweet! A must if youre in Brockville!

Great spot for local railfans. Right by the tracks and lots of rail pictures to view during your very short wait for your meal. Price about average.

We visit at least once a week. Top quality breakfast, addicting hollandaise and enough of a portion to last me clear through to dinner for cheap. Apple turnover to end the visit is a recommendation from me.

Food is fantastic. Huge portions. Great Greek salad, great fries, excellent souvlaki, gyros, and smoked meat. Friendly service, and the food comes quick despite how busy the restaurant is. Meals are overpriced, but I cant remember the last time I went to any restaurant that was reasonably priced.

The food was amazing and we had some laughs with the wait staff. We had to wait a bit for a table because it was busy but we were greeted right away and that is usually a sign of good food. The breakfast poutine was a huge portion that would feed me for 2 meals. Will definitely go back.

My wife and I love this restaurant! Weve only ever had breakfast here because its so good. The breakfast poutine is what stands out for me - just amazing. The service is great, feels like being part of a big family.

Wow ! Svc was outstanding, food was great, good prices, next to an active train station for those spotyers out there. We uave now decided to do a road trip to this place- maybe every couple of months.

A lovely breakfast diner. We found this on Google Maps and were very impressed with the food and the prices. The portions were great for the price. I ordered the French toast, and my partner ordered one of the classic breakfasts with eggs, peamel bacon, and home fries. Everything was excellent, and we would gladly visit again when we are back in town.

Love getting breakfast here. Its very quick, and the service is amazing. It may be packed with no seating when You get there, but tables clear quickly and the wait is usually not very long. I highly recommend eating here for a quick cheap meal that feels like home!

My servers were fabulous. I went in to kill time by having some breakfast while my kitten was being spayed, and I ended up staying for hours!!!! Laptop and coffee, with the most amaaaazing pumpkin cheesecake!!!! Compliments to your baker for real! Watched the trains go by and thoroughly enjoyed my time at Jons. Wonderful, welcoming staff!

My family favorite for breakfast anywhere; everything is done with warmth and flourish at Jons. The meal is an excellent classic (for the record: over-easy, bacon, yes to the home fries, and rye toast) If youre there on a Tuesday, splurge on a fresh turnover for dessert. And if youre a biggish person, skip the rather tight banquettes and take a table further back?

Wife and I both loved Jons The blueberry pancakes sausage and bacon were exceptional with large portions and reasonable prices. Wife liked blt, and the fries were exceptional. I highly recommend this place I wish I had room for the pie. Only negative feedback is they only have canned pop and the booths were way to small for 6 4

I stopped here for breakfast. What a great decision. Its no wonder this place has been around since 1960! It has a friendly diner feel, good food and generous portions. The service is second to none.

Exactly like small town restaurant haven. Ordered the breakfast steak and eggs. Nice size steak cooked medium. Really tasty. I asked for extra sliced tomatoes which were fresh and for which i was not charged. Coffee was fresh and the waitress always wore a welcoming smile. Much better than the Tim Hortons at the enroute. Do it. Go out of your way to Jons!!!

Jons is a staple in Brockville! Always good food, and great staff. I just had breakfast with coworkers and it was perfection.

visited this restaurant for years with my family when I lived in Brockville. The staff here is wonderful and extremely kind and caring people they even knew me and my dad by name when we came for breakfast together. havent been in a few years but will always recommend to friends

Excellent restaurant. You re not going to get a T-bone steak there but what you do get is hot, tasty and the servings are so generous that you probably will not be able to eat it all. I ordered the club sandwich platter and I could barely open my mouth wide enough to put the sandwich in. My husband ordered the smoked meat. His sandwich was loaded with smoked meat which he said was good quality. Fries were hot and tasty, and the coleslaw was perfect. The waitress was very friendly, we were served quickly and we did not have to wait very long for our food.
