40 Water St W, Brockville, ON K6V 3L3, Canada
Brockville's best fish and chips for over 60 years. We also serve amazing poutine and homemade pogo's. Order online at our website.
I had 2 pieces of haddock and chips. The batter is almost like a pancake batter, but it's not too thick. Nice and slightly crispy. The fish is thick and juicy. I had my fries only with salt, but you can also have them with salt and vinegar. Comes in a small brown paper bag for you to enjoy to go. They do give forks, ketchup and tartar sauce if you want. I'll definitely stop at Don's again next time I'm in Brockville.
Can we get some shade in the parking lot? A couple tents would go a long way. Also, the breading on the fish is a little thick. Fries were perfection.
Great…. Just like everyone says. They give you everything wrapped in a paper bag so be quick about where you plan to sit and eat as they have no tables. We quickly biked over to the park with our illegal can of bear purchased a block away.
Haddock was super dry. Chips were chewy. Packaged Kraft tartar sauce was the cherry on top. Would not recommend at all.
Always some of the best fish n chips. They don’t over attack the fish with batter. The fries are super tasty. Don’t expect to run a marathon after one of these meals, but do expect to sit back and reflect on how good the meal was. Only recommendation… they should make their own tartar sauce instead of using those packets.
Fries were good, kinda soft but with crispy bits, well-fried, oil tasted clean. Classic chip truck style fries. Fish itself was good but the batter was meh. More bready and doughy than light and crispy. More like corn dog/Pogo batter than a classic fish 'n' chips style batter. Gravy was of the powdered variety, but was beefy, dark and delicious. Coleslaw was okay. 1 star deducted because they forgot to give us our tartar sauce, vinegar and ketchup, which we only discovered by the time we'd settled into a picnic table by the water's edge, so I had to run back to get the condiments before our fish 'n' chips got cold. 2nd star deducted for that sad batter and the fact that the tartar sauce wasn't homemade, but was little Kraft packets instead. Lovely spot to eat by the water's edge, though!
It was our first time in Brockville and we thought to try "Don's fish & Chips".. We really enjoyed it so much. We placed the same order for us and our kids, but the owner highlighted that the portions are big especially for the fries and he also showed us the size of fish pieces. It was nice gesture from them, so we adjusted our order accordingly... Fish tastes so yummy. We really liked its spices too. I see a lot of freshly cut fries comes with one order. They are too much for one person to finish :) But I have a comment on the fries. It was so bland. I think salt is needed to be added on top it just after frying it to be more tasty ;) Tartar sauce is so nice and added a lot to the fish. I really liked the way of receiving the order and you have to wait outside and they will call your name and hand you the order from the window.. Quick tip for parking, there is a limited parking spaces. But on the other side, there is municipal parking that is free after 4PM and free on weekends
Absolutely delicious. The fries are thick cut and perfectly fried, and the fish is wonderful. Just stepping inside the shop is enough to make you hungry from the aroma alone.
For $25 for a two piece, fish and chips they could at least cook it fresh. The only thing that was made fresh was the fries.
We are new to Brockville Nov. 2024. Glad to find one restaurant that offers fish and chips all year. Glad to find a restaurant that offers fish and chips where we can order on line. Excellent service, just excellent. The cod is fairly good with out a heavy coating. Fries could have been cooked slightly longer. They give far too many fries per order.
We ve gone a dozen times over the years Yesterday, all 3 of us got sick with cramps All different age groups. Couple trips to bathroom on way home :( The woman at cash was very unfriendly and snapped at my wife. But getting sick on any food scares the hell out of us.
hi don, i have a few things to say for ya 1-you should add some seating outdoors 2-i had a stroke trying to figure out how to eat this outside without the wind blowing away. if you are eating outside, think again 3-food is pretty good, fries were a teeny tiny bit unseasoned 4-how am i supposed to use the vinegar- thats it, youre beautiful just the way you are:3
Crisp batter, flaky haddock, hearty fries, zippy tartar sauce. My mouth waters. My tummy growls. Mmmmmm! Take-out fish and chips at its prime and makes my Bluenoser soul happy. Bonus points if its warm out and you can enjoy it right by the water, with the breeze, seagulls and boats!
Once or twice year, I drive with my family from Gatineau to Dons. We order the food and take it to a nearby park next to the water. The fish and chips are usually excellent, full of fish and crispy. Our experience last Sunday was deceiving. After spending $280 for eight two pieces combo and 4 single pieces, we found thee recipe must have changes, the pieces were soft and the fish portion very small inside. The fries were dry and not as good as before. We will probably try again next year as this is a tradition my dad started over 15 years ago and since he passed away I took over, but I really hope it will be back to the old standard of fish and chips we used to love.
Always a treat
The fish was good, way too many French fries, but Kraft containers of tartar sauce?? Customers deserve better at a fish and chip specialty shop Food
Great Fish and Chips takeout. Crossed over to the park to eat. Lovely reason to visit Brockville
Dissapointing. Plethora of french fries which are pretty good btw, but the piece of fish we got was rather tiny. We had some fish and chips in Peterborough before and it was way better for a lower price. For those who dont know - it is only a take out place without seatings inside.
Great fish and chips!!!!
Great little spot close to the river! Great service and very good fish&chips! Fish was flaky, the batter is delicious and crispy! Fries are awesome!
Authentic fish and chips. Great portion sizes. Great price. The best fish and chips around by far. Must try !
Excellent
Close to many parks to bring your food at. Should have less fries and next time I order two pieces.
This place is an absolute rip off. Ordered cod fish and ships. Its basically over 50% thick batter. And a tiny amount of fish inside. The batter is tasteless and goey. And kraft tarter sauce at a fish and chips place? Lol what a bunch of jokers. Nearly 40 dollars with taxes for 3 pieces and fries. The fries are the only saving grace to the place. Google is such a joke. Does anyone trust Google reviews anymore?
Very bland, tasteless and expensive. $25 for two pieces of fish and a whole bunch of potatoes. Ridiculous
Very good value for money
Really excellent homemade fries
Best fish and chips Ive had in a long time! Very much recommended!
Firstly we drove 21/2 hours to go eat told them what kind they asked if I wanted salt and vinegar then my fish was put in same bag as fries and just in a brown paper bag disappointed with the way we were served our dinner bing bang let s go should serve in something you can eat in especially people not living there !!
Dons has been in business for 60 years! The fish is amazingly good, and the amount of fries you get is huge! Take out only but so worth stopping in and placing an order!
Best fish and chip restaurant. Definitely a must if youre in the area.
My husband wanted us to discover this place when we returned from Toronto to Montreal. Small, unpretentious snack. No table on site, we ate in the car. We loved everything!
First time in Brookville, we bring students up to the aquarium, one of my friends said to try Don,s Fish an Chips , not disappointed.
Good as usual been going for 50 years
Delicious but a little expensive for rush and ship. Generous quantity. Well located.
Excellent!!
Great take out meal to eat by the beautiful waterfront. Food was amazing. Gravy one of best had in a long time. Large portions. Love this little gem.
Best take out fish and chips in Brockville
The packaging is abit sad. The large coleslaw is very tiny.
The lady serving us was polite asking what we wanted, then got the whole order wrong but by the time we realized and went to eat our food we had already left and drove off wasnt till a bit later when we realized our order was wrong. Asked for extra white vinegar got 1 the price is CRAZY high 50.00 for two 2 piece fish and chips... DEFINITELY NOT worth the money, EXTREEMLY greecy and they werent buisy so to get our order wrong was disappointing. DEFINITELY wont be back
Absolutely the Best
We drive an hour each way to go to Dons and think nothing of it....when we fancy fish and chips, Dons is where we go. Their is no better fish and chips in this area. Been going there for years. If your near treat yourself.
My favourite please to eat
One Of The Best Fish & Chips in Canada!
WOW!!! You want really good fish and chips dont go anywhere else Dons fish and chips are out of this world from the fresh fish and home cut fries were delicious the staff was really friendly so dont hesitate to try Dons fish and chips..unfortunately I have no pictures as we went to eat it at the local park and had to fight of the dam seguls!!!
the line up in the summertime speaks for itself. Dons is always worth the wait. Food
Best fish and chips in the region. Cannot imagine a summer without heading here a couple of times. Big portions and amazing service, fyi take out only.
Yum
Good food. Friendly staff. Quick service. Good parking .
The reference for fish and chips in Ontario. For people looking for a nice ride (car, motorcycle) to do in the Ontario area (40 Water st W, Brockville) Small place that has existed for several decades! We ordered at the counter and ate in a nearby Park, its worth the trip!
I will always search out for dons when i come to brockville, its been one of my favorite fish and chip places, and ive traveled alot, no place ive lived has ever compared to dons and it makes me feel super excited to come visit again and again and again!! My only grief is that they dont sell jones anymore but honestly the food makes up for it! Parking: Because its a small parking lot sometimes its hard to fit in BUT they work super fast so people normally just grab the food and head out so it doesnt take long! And if u go before schools out theres more parking spaces!
Dont hesitate to take a detour and get a nice fisn & chips. Really good, pieces are bigs and if you get a small one they usually put another to compensate. Lot of french fries.
I am originally from Brockville and always loved Dons. However the quality is not there now!! Horrible and very expensive!! Batter is super thick! Not tasty at all!! So disappointed!!! Service
Best fish n chip Ive had in a long time.
Went there with my husband for Father s Day. Ordered on line and picked it up right on schedule. Portions were beyond expectations . Haddock was excellent. They even gave us a container of water for our puppy. We brought enough French fries home for 2 days!!. Enjoyed our picnic on the water. Great food, great day!!!
Best Fish and Chips in Eastern Ontario.
Long waiting at the time we visited. But worth the wait. Can t beat fish and chips.
Best fish and Chips in town
Really excellent Fish & Chips. The portions are generous.
Just an awesome place all around thank you so much food was awesome service was fantastic! See you again soon.
Started going to Don s fish and Chips in 1977 when our family moved to Brockville. Back then with extra salt and vinegar, wrapped in yesterday s newspapers would be a twice weekly treat while sitting overlooking the marina on my lunch hour. I worked at Flowers N Such by mills located on King street during my high school years attending BCIVS. Miss it, hopefully going back this summer.
it was very crowded in there, they definitely need to look into getting new parking space. Vegetarian options: there was almost none. Dietary restrictions: they werent very dietary positive. Parking: there was only three parking spots very crowded. Kid-friendliness: not kid friendly at all. Wheelchair accessibility: no wheel char accessibility for out friends and family.
Have gone for 35 years. Always been great. You get what you pay for. I appreciate the Kraft tarter sauce instead of some sketchy handmade stuff.
Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Wonderful customer service and generosity. A must have in my book now:)
The GOAT in Brockville. Quality food and quality people! Can t ask for more !
We have been going there for years even though we live in Kingston. I have a severe fish allergy but my husband has been going to Dons for over 30 years. They always make a bag of chips that are cooked in a seperate oil for I can not eat chips cooked in the same oil as the fish. Few places do this. I can seldom order French fries if we go to a restaurant. Parking: Parking is roughly five spots
Loved it for over 15 years now atleast! Parking: Has enough parking 95% of the time, and on the above average, there is plenty of parking around in both paid (otherside of street) and free not much further away (1 block max 99.99% of time) Kid-friendliness: I always loved hearing we were getting Dons as a kid, still do! Love the atmosphere and the taste of home!
Staff appreciate that the customer contributes to their paycheck. They greet you when you arrive and thankyou for your business on the way out.
Top notch place for a greasy lunch
Haddock and chips. So delicious!!
I ve been a customer at Dons for a few years now , my whole family has but recently going in we realize that they have new stuff the didn t over the years and small changes but we where upset to realize these changes weren t there own, for example a large haddock + cod, chicken fingers + coleslaw were all done after your comp added it to there s. I suggest if you want to be REAL you guys should come up with your OWN ideas and not just take from your competition .
Just took my family of four to grab fish and chips and to go down to the water in Brockville. The haddock was beyond good! Super crispy fries awesome dark gravy. Been coming to this place for 15+ years super friendly people inside. Strongly recommend
Cute and friendly fish and chip stand. Was the perfect place to stop and pick up a meal to enjoy by the water. (I found the packaging a bit odd but tasted great nonetheless) Parking: About 6/7 parking spots
Would of took photos but ate it to quick. Delicious fish not to much batter and fresh cut fries. I had the poutine as well and it was great
Pre-cooked fish and chips that were freshly made but soft and soggy. Disgusting!!!!! For the amount charged it s a disgrace, not sure how this business survived for 60 years! Would have never bought any food from here .inaccurate past reviews!!!
I ordered Haddock and chip. The portion is generous. The Haddock was a large and very tasty piece. Fries are also very good. It was prepared fresh and one piece was plenty for me.
They changed their gravy since the last time, not as big of a fan of it now. Great service though!
We live 45 minutes away and look forward to Dons every chance we get !
really enjoyed my meal here haddock is nice and meaty and servings are generous fit for a king
Drove from.Cornwall just for lunch today Awesome as always Food
My favorite place(manolls ) was closed, so we opted for Dons. The fish I had (Haddock ) was pre made 70% dough, and fish was strong in flavor and tough, as apposed to fall Apart in your mouth. Just my opinion, but I think Dons is highly overrated.
Great food and friendly service. Will definetly be back again!
Best fish and chips in Brockville!!
Best fish n chips
Great fries and fish of course, this has been my favourite fish and chips place for about 20 years, and my families for longer. Worth the trip from Kingston, havent had anything better in town.
I went for the star rating, but it felt average. The fried fish was a bit dry and the breading was a bit thick. The price/performance ratio is not high, the service is mediocre, not very welcoming, and the room is not big so you cant dine in.
Always a hot spot !
Great fish and chips, large portions, fresh and delicious. Quick service, friendly employees. Food
Really nice staff, food gets made fast and it tastes very good, the prices for the meals are good value
Great Pogos!! Parking: Parking lot is right out front but the spaces fill up fast when theyre busy! Food : 5/5 |
Good food at decent price. Very helpful to show us good places to enjoy our food (no dine in) and explore.
We went here earlier today (1:15 pm, May 1st) we came from Perth. The fries were delicious and the fish was large and perfectly cooked. The customer service was superb as well. Definitely recommend! My sister and her kids are coming to Ontario from Alberta in august, we will definitely be bringing the whole family for a nice lunch.
The poutine never disappoints!! And the staff are awesome!!
Exceptional gem just a stones throw from the water....so your food will be plenty hot when you walk 4 minutes to the numerous parks nearby. Have tried the haddock and cod and both were honestly excellence. Got the fries well done and they were really really good. Tartar is from run of the mill prepackaged variety but honestly the fish and chips were so good it doesnt require condoments but if they ever make their own tartar sauce it will likely be the same high quality as their fish and chips nd willblow our minds and be worth extra paying for!.
Great good.
The fish was very thick, meaty, and tasty. It was a generous portion. At first the batter was thin, light and crispy. However, as I got to the other end of the fish it got thick and soggy. The chips were the big let-down. There were far too many tiny pieces of over-cooked potato (slivers really) - you expect some, but there was way too much for one serving. The regular sized chips were not crispy. If we are back in Brockville, we will try the competition.
The place I go to, from Ottawa for a nice fish and chips
Our first fish & chips in Canada. If this is the standard in Canada, God help us. Terrible. The quality we below the worst you would get in the UK or Australia. Australians be warned. Overcooked chips, fish batter was thick and rubbery.
Only a take out spot, but some of the best fish and chips Ive had. Theres tons of picnic tables within walking distance, and the staff is greatly friendly.
The only reason for 4 stars is that I wish there was a few places to sit inside. My mother comes from the Gaspe area, and lets say I am picky about fish. I did not know what to expect because it was the first time my wife and I tried this place. As we approached the door one of the ladies welcomed us from the side window and told us to step on in with a smile. The menu is NOT huge, but thats fine when you want to do something well and not overdo others. I chose a small combo, my wife chose the bigger 2-piece. Remember when I said Im picky? I should not have worried. The fries were just fine, yes there was some grease but thats part of the game and I dont mind. They were piping hot. The piece of halibut was fully cooked, the batter was crispy and not overwhelming the fish. The fish was firm and moist, no bones in it. The sauces were factory made, perhaps that could change to home made? Having some lemon slices could be a plus? But thats overall minor and wont hide a fish that is not well prepared. Its also a bit harder for takeout, Im not sure if there are regulations about that. This is a good place, worth returning to in the future.
The fish was amazing, and the fries were perfect, soft, and creamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. There is no real atmosphere since this is a takeout only restaurant. The food is top-notch. A single meal will run you $15-20 bucks but you wont go home hungry. Get the 2 piece fish($19) and chips and youre good to feed 2 adults. Vegetarian options: Fries are the main option unless youre pescetarian. Dietary restrictions: There are things on the menu for non-fish people but its limited. Plus the fish is so good, just get it. Parking: There is parking for 4-5 cars out front of the restaurant and a public lot across the street. Youre in and out with your food in 10 minutes, so parking is easy. Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly since theres no seating. You order then stand in line, then leave. Wheelchair accessibility: This isnt wheelchair accessible. There are 4-5 stairs.
Little weekend trip to Brockville landed me in front of this little gem. Since I was having lunch by myself and was near the water, I had to jump at the chance to try Dons Fish and Chips. I decided to get a mixed fish and chips, which meant I got a piece of haddock and a piece of cod with lots of salty fries. I also got their most popular menu item, a pogo made in house. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture, lol!! As for the fish, they were both very meaty, but I would have taken cod for both next time. The ONLY reason I gave them a 4 star was because I was disappointed that their tarter sauce wasnt home made like the other items I got. The sauce didnt taste good. Staff were very friendly and made recommendations when I asked what they would pick. Loved the homie feel and was very impressed by their fryer setup! Nice way to end the trip, lunch by the water. #supportlocal
Some of the best fish Ive had this far from the Maritimes.
My parents used to bring me here as a kid with my brother. It was always special to sit by the water eating our favorite fish and chips. My husband and I are from Oshawa and were heading back from Cornwall visiting family. I decided to stop so my husband could try it for the first time and boy they did not disapoint. The fish is something out of a dream for me. We got both cod and haddock and they were the perfect amount of flakiness with an almost buttery flavour. We both prefer haddock but i could eat both from there every time! I cant wait for my next excuse to stop by! Parking: Not many spots but easy enough to find parking downtown!
Food was great and the staff was super friendly.
Best fish and chips in brockville
I was hoping for so much more. But the guy at the counter was rude and the fish was soggy.
No parking!! And its only for takeaway, on the motorbike we asked if we could leave the motorbike without parking while we ate and stupidly were told that we couldnt
Best fish and chips its tthe best for my yew for life :)
This is a small takeout restaurant that serves great food. The parking is pretty good and they have quick service. If your looking for fish and chips Im the Brockville area remember to visit Dons Fish and Chips Please press like if you enjoyed this review. Parking: Pretty good parking when its not to busy.
Well worth the few minutes drive off the 401. Great fish & chips, with homemade crispy fries, and the best poutine Ive ever had in Ontario. They really know their way around a deep fryer.
The best fish and chip in Brockville!
Great food.
Just ordered two orders of fish and chips $42 .chips were great, however the fish was under cooked and there was more batter than fish by far. Save your money.
Although I have heard a lot of good things about this place, but wasn t my favorite! We ordered fish and chips. The fish smelled and fries were burnt! I was really disappointed Food : 3/5
Amazing fish & chips
best fish and chips in town , a brockville staple forever
Fresh fish with the perfect amount of batter and delicious fries! Very well-priced for the quality of food. Only a couple min walk to the water where there are plenty of benches and picnic tables to enjoy your meal
Dons Fish and Chips is a must whenever we go to Brockville or Kingston/Thousand Islands areas. The fish is cooked to perfection and so good. The service is very friendly. As for the atmosphere, we bring our meal to the park at the marina for a picnic. Just lovely !
Awesome food !!
While visiting Brockville we were highly recommended to try Dons fish and chips. Its my wifes favorite meal. We have tried many different locations and cities and the fish wasnt that bad and I found the batter similar to a pogo batter. Not as crispy and light as you would expect from a beer batter. Fries were ok but way too many small pieces (slivers) I understand they may have been busy and often enough restaurants just scrape whatever is in the tray to keep the flow but way too many small pieces for my liking. This is a chip wagon style so theres no place to seat or even shade while waiting for the food. Overall it was okay.
The best fish and chips Its worth the detour Not just breading, big pieces of fish
Fish and chips were terrible. Fries were burnt. Fish waa mush. Sorry. Maybe just a bad day for you
The best fish and chips I ve ever had. Great people who are friendly.
Update: This year the food was not as good. The fries not so fresh or that might have been because the food was served in bags. No coleslaw (not sure if they were served last time). But service was good. Very old fashioned fish and chips. Still served in newspaper Fresh fries
Take-out only. Little window kinda like a food truck without the truck. Locals say itd the best and I agree... very good and the park on the water is a block away. Sitting in the park on a picnic table enjoying fish & Chips in the sun watching the boats go by; now thats s 5 star atmosphere
Best poutine in brockville
We were recommended to try the fish & chips by a friend in Brockville. My husband and I ordered the haddock & fries. Service was fast & friendly. Unfortunately our orders did not meet our expectations. The fries were under cooked. Our fish looked like it came out of a box of captain highliners. The portions were tiny, like a childs meal, and the batter was crispy on the outside, but goey, under cooked on the inside. The tater sauce wasnt even home made, a small package of Krafts tater sauce. Waste of money.
Undercooked bready cod and Kraft tartar sauce We will try someplace else next time Food
One of the most delicious Fish & Chip meals that I have ever enjoyed!! We were directed bystaff to a beautiful park that we could drive to right on the St. Lawrence Seaway where we enjoyed our meal watching all of the boat traffic! Highly recommend this trip into Brockville!
Ok, heavy taste left afterwards though.
Great fish&chip. Generous portion of fries enough for 2 people. They make people wait outside in the parking lot for unknown reason. Parking can get tricky during the high season
Service was very friendly an quick. Was planning on dining in, but unfortunately it is take out only. The fish was okay the fires were good. Not planning on rushing back anytime soon though. Food
The fries were excellent, big and tasty pieces of fish. Great service, recommend the place 100%
Good portions, good service. Its take out only. In Summer you order outside and you wait outside for them to call your name. Always hot and fresh, highly recommend. Parking: Park the car while waiting for your food to be ready, then you leave.
We used to go here as kids many years ago, and I had it for the first time since, and it is still great. A sinple take out spot, doing only a few foods, but doing them well. I am not sure if it is still the same owner or not, but it brought back good memories.
What better thing to do on your cancelled wedding day...Go to Dons Fish&Chips! Thanks for a predictably great meal to make the day better!
Excellent fish. Top quality and fresh. Super nice people.
Very good Fish & Chips in Brockville!
The restaurant is take out only
Awesome fish and chips. So many french fries
Taste is ok but the pieces already have a coating on them and are not dipped in fresh batter prior to frying. For $25 for a take out 2 small pieces fish and a lot of chips it was expensive.
Excellent fish and chips!
I finally gave in to the tempting smells and tried Dons. I was not disappointed. Tasty fish and tastier fries. Great, honest service too.
Cold fries portion was small for 2 piece staff not to friendly 27.00 for 2 piece and Fri. Not going back
Fries dry and tasteless
The Food is 9 times out of ten absolutely amazing best fish and chips around!!
Best fish!!
Disappointed. Ordred the Don, 4 not 5 chicken tenders, no dipping sauce asked for vinegar none given. small bag of french fries. Small coleslaw .Definitely not what the picture that the menu shows. Too bad really. Fish tasted good. Expensive for what you get but then again food prices have risen quite high. Hard for a small business to make a profit.
What an amazing place! Not only is the food and service awesome, the owner went above and beyond to make the food was safe for my daughter to eat that has an anaphylactic food allergy. She doesnt get to eat out at many places because of her allergy, she was so happy that she was able to today! A huge thank you to Dons Fish and Chips for making my daughters day!!
Really good fish and chips. Fries are so yummy and the portion is huge!!
It was a 5 star place but something has changed about the fish and price is way too high
Very very good and fast service
Awesome old style F&C baby yeah!!!
I was there earlier today with Friends, We had the fish and chips.. I had Cod and Chips, My friends Haddock and Chips.. It was so goods - Wish I could give 10 stars.. It was like eating a Donut with Cod in it to me.. Though my friends say its the sweet batter.. Anyways very much enjoyed
Stopped by for two piece Haddock with Chip , Gravy n Coleslaw best fish around
Hit and miss! Sometimes to oily when it s overly busy. Better to go when the lines not out the door
Reliably excellent.
Average...too much batter for my liking and cashier was rude
After my friend and his family raving about this place and the locals as well. I decided to five this place a try. I can say I was not impressed I was quite disappointed As I unpacked the huge package of fish and chips I noticed that my piece of fish was about the size of a young childs fist. Like what!! As I unpacked more this hard lump of what I was thinking the rest of my piece of fish. Sadly it was just more French fries hard packed inside Hell I can have French fries any where I came for the fish It was more of an appetizer before I got full on fries.
Not much options, literally only fish and chips and hot dogs. Seafood not available.
Great fish! Large portions. Fantastic staff. Always worth the drive to Dons
Delicious, fresh, friendly
Best fish and chips I ve ever had.
My favorite fish & chips
Good food, tastes amazing. A bit pricy, however, not a long wait with fresh food! Parking: parking out front
Delicious fish Incredibly filling. Kinda pricey but that worth The meal
Over priced
Every time I make a trip back home I make sure to stop in and order something. The poutine is some of the best Ive had, and the fish and chips are always a hit when I introduce friends to the local grub.
Just moved to brockville apx 3 weeks ago I havent had fish in a long time I had the large order two cod was pretty damm good the best fish I had in years the frys were great too, don(the guy in the black shirt I believe was don) and the lady working tonight were friendly, I dont live far will definitely be going back good quality food
