Indian Cuisine Hub in Brockville

One of the best Indian cuisines my Indian friend made us happy by offering us his food when we were there for a hockey competition a year ago, we completely miss the delicious cuisine of Montreal. We are going back next month, hope the food tastes good before then.

[Dec 2025 Update]: Food still very tasty but remains extremely salty to the point where its now average and definitely unhealthy. Whoevers cooking the food and tasting for saltiness clearly has no clue what theyre doing. I hate to downgrade this otherwise lovely restaurant but they need to sort this out. Well be ordering far less frequently then we would have otherwise. Sorry, but down to 2 stars. [July 2024 Update]: Still very good but removing one star as our past 3 takeaway orders have been very salty compared to previously. Still tasty but clearly over-salted. Excellent meal (and stunningly good Lamb Korma), friendly and professional service, a broad menu of wonderful dishes... Ill be going back here for sure - frequently.

Amazing food, Great price, Clean and hygienic place. We enjoyed excellent Indian curries and bread. Food was fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented. Vegetarian options: Excellent Vegetarian options based on Lentils and Cottage (Fromage) cheese and freshly cooked breads.

It felt like a return to India. Exceptional and abundant dishes, as they usually do. Excellent quality/price and super attentive and friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

We had a pleasant culinary experience here. We had ordered Gobi Garlic, Whole wheat roti, garlic naan & Mix veg Vindaloo. Everything was delicious & tasted good. Service was excellent. Ambience was amazing. Would visit again for sure to try other options.

Food was too salty. Dishes were confusing in flavor. Kadai tasted like dansak, jalfrazi tasted like rogonjosh. Byrani was not mixed properly , you can see the unmixed white rice. And the salt, my god... I will probably need hydrating fluid after few hours. Nans were too hard , almost needed wd40 to get it down. Unfortunately, I had to finish the food as I dont waste food. Service was ok, table left with used dishes for long time, we had to ask the table to be cleaned. I see good rating on the restaurant, perhaps there is nothing else to compare with in Brockville. I am hoping I dont lose a liver or kidney from the salt. My teeth hurts thinking about it. Update: See below response from owner. My response to the owners feedback: I was giving feedback on the food you served. If you do not like what I said you should take your restaurant ad off Google. You might have 20 years experience in cooking Indian food but I have 40 years experience eating Indian food, so I know the difference aswell. Your food did not meet the standard at the minimum. To explain it clearly it was rubbish. I can cook better food with my eyes close at home. No one wants to go a place and pay good money to eat subpar food. You can take my feedback and try to do better next time, instead you decided to response with denial. Let me go further with my feedback. Your restaurant smelled like mold, bathroom had an urinal clogged and overflowing, mens bathroom door does not fully close and your kitchen is right across from it and kitchen door was open. Your bathroom floor was dirty, door handle was so dirty that I would not touch it with a 10 ft pole . I am not there to trial food and ask you change it. Serve good food first time and you wont have unhappy customers. Why would I go to Kingston to compare food, you may want to try that, might learn something. You might not have a customer who lost a kidney or liver yet, but you are chances are not getting any better when you serve trash like that. Say sorry, I may consider re reviewing this review. Also if you are going to response, use punctuation, I had to read it 10 times to decipher what you said.

The restaurant smelled moldy and the bathroom was very dirty and smelly. Unfortunately the kitchen is right across from it. That does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Every single dish was very salty. I think the chef has a salty palate.

Excellent authentic tasting North Indian cuisine. Outstanding service and a great ambience. We stopped by for lunch on a Monday around 2pm. We ordered Naans, Matar Paneer, Mix Vegetable Vindaloo, Dal Tadka. The food was delicious. It is one of the best restaurants we have been to. If you are in the vicinity of Brockville and want to try Indian cuisine then look no further!

Heading from Montreal to Toronto, and we had delicious food , Veg biriyani, Shahi paneer and dal makhani with garlic naan. On the top of it, we received amazing service. We reserved table with food 45 minutes advance before we reached and everything was ready by time we entered restaurant. Superb

If there were anymore stars to give, I surely would have done that, only and only because of the service. We went around 2.30 pm on a Friday and we were greeted by a Punjabi guy - I wish i asked his name but forgot. He was one of the sweetest person we have ever met. He was extremely welcoming and made us feel comfortable which is rare in Canada, being from the same community! He offered us tea and trust me it was the best tea we ve had. I wish that man gets a raise because he deserves it. I wish god fulfills all his dreams and he achieves everything making through the struggles of an international student. He very well respresents the city and our Punjabi community which is basically, welcoming! We need more people like him Not to forget, the tea was exactly Indian style so don t even think before going here.

Indian Cuisine Hub in Brockville is an absolute gem! I traveled all the way from Brampton for a vocational trip, and it was my first time visiting this restaurant. Let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was incredibly delicious, with authentic flavors that transported me straight to India. The location is convenient, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The food is amazing. We tried vegetarian food - Paneer sabzi, tandoori roti, mango lassi, manchurian and everything was just yummy. If in doubt, please ask for the owner s suggestions, its bang on and you wont be disappointed at all. The hospitality was the cherry on the top!!

Our second time to Indian Cuisine Hub. This time we had the Friday night Buffet which was wondering. Im pretty sure everything on the menu except for onion Baji was presented on the Buffet. The Indian Cuisine Hub does not have a Liquor license. This is not a game changer for us as the food and service is great. This restaurant is a welcome addition to downtown Brockville. If you enjoy Indian Cuisine give this place a try. Vegetarian options: With an Indian restaurant you have plenty of Vegetarian options.

The food was awesome, Buttered Lamb was perfect, and naan hot and fresh out of the oven. While the service was friendly it was not up to the level of the meal. Will be going back for sure!

My BF and I went out last night, Feb. 23 for the Indian Buffet. It was 25 $ per person. In the advertisement seen on FB it listed a few dishes and it said « about 25 items more », so we thought it was going to be an extensive buffet. That was not the case. The food was good BUT it was COLD, or barely warm, so eating it wasn t a pleasant experience. To eat some cold paneer with nan is not great. Too bad because otherwise the food was ok. They need to get a better set up to keep the food warm. When we arrived, no one greeted us. We had to walk in to the counter until we came across someone. No one asked if we wanted anything to drink. And at the time of paying the bill, the employee didn t bother asking how was everything just took the money and that was that. It s too bad because usually in an Indian restaurant, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. So all in all it was not a pleasant experience. It felt like a self serve cafeteria.

Amazingly high quality food, packed into a flavourful experience. Tried the Butter chicken, aloo gobi, korma paneer, tandoori chicken, chicken Tikka and lamb seek kabobs.

Food was good but the service was not. My wife asked for a drink they told her to grab a 7up sitting in a case on a table. No glass or ice offered. Drinks were not refrigerated. They had a sign up asking people to reuse their plates at the buffet. Pretty sure this is against code. It was Valentines Day so I was expecting something different/more. It actually became comical. We had a good laugh paid the bill and left. No sure we will give them another chance.

Awesome, authentic Indian food and great service. This is going to be my stop for Toronto - Montreal - Toronto commute. Food was very tasty, and came out piping hot at the appropriate time. I liked the decor. We sat at the Gujarat table because thats where my +1s family is from. That was a nice touch I didnt expect and we appreciated that. It was moderately busy at the time we went for dinner but not so much so that our waiter didnt come to check on us. He was attentive and we didnt have to flag him down for anything.

I ordered for chicken biryani from Indian Cuisine Hub through Uber eats, expecting least to be tasty though the ratings are good. As i openned the parcel i got a lovely aroma of Chicken Biryani. *Updating this review to reiterate that this is THE BEST Indian food around here. The servers are lovely, the vibe & aesthetics are immaculate, and the food is amazing. I am a sucker for their garlic naan and coconut rice, and every new dish my partner and I try when we come back is just as good as the last experience, && the texture of their proteins never misses the mark, its always tender and delicious. That said, Im a sucker for the chicken tikka. Ive had it multiple times and it never disappoints.

Found out today that today (Aug 28) is their one-year anniversary. Ive eaten here a whole bunch since moving to Brockville one year ago, and I am telling you Ive never had such ridiculously flavourful Indian food. The dishes are consistently perfectly prepared every time. The service is polite, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere is charming and lovely. I have *never* had a bad experience here. Yup, yup, yup. Highly recommend!

Take out meal from Indian Cuisine Hub was very good and a pleasant surprise in Brockville where our other meals have been quite unremarkable. Decent price, good size servings and a couple of new dishes we hadnt tried before (onion lacha and chicken saagwata). Busy restaurant on an otherwise quiet street. We did take-out but the atmosphere was very comfortable looking.

This was a pleasant surprise for us. The food was amazing. The service was so good. The staff were really friendly and even allowed us to order our dine-in order ahead of time so that we could save some time on our way to Toronto. This has now become our stopover place for any visits to Quebec. The location of the restaurant is also great, very close to the water. The interior of the restaurant is so thought of - depicting several states of India. Best Indian restaurant by far along the 401 in Brockville/Kingston region. And the biggest of all they were playing shabad which made the experience complete.

We ordered a chicken and a lamb dish with papadums, rice and garlic nann. The food was outstanding and just the right heat. The service was great and the prices were very reasonable. Probably the best Indian food Ive had in a long time. I understand they are getting their liquor license next week so I expect the crowds will get bigger.

While I havent had the opportunity to dine in at Indian Cuisine Hub, Ive had the pleasure of savoring their dishes at home. The takeaway experience was outstanding the flavors were rich and authentic, making it evident that they take great care in preparing their cuisine. I must commend their Butter paneer masala that was exceptional. I can only imagine that the restaurants ambiance and service would elevate the experience even further. Im eager to visit in person soon to enjoy the complete Indian Cuisine Hub experience. Highly recommended!

I picked up 2 mix veggie curry, one with coconut cream. It was fantastic! Even the kids enjoyed it. The rice was perfectly cooked, the sauces were full of flavour. This is a great option for those who are vegan or vegetarian.

Had a picnic in the rain under the gazebo at Hardy Park with the most delicious East Indian dishes: beef coconut curry, chicken vindaloo and beef madras, coupled with samosas and naan bread. Everything was DELICIOUS! I cant wait to go back!

The food is not at all tasty or good to eat, tried their chicken biryani, lamb biryani, shrimp biryani and mango lassi. Shrimp was not cooked properly at all and is too raw to eat, chicken biryani tasted like plain rice. Mango lassi was the worst of all I have tasted in Canada. Would not recommend anyone to try this place and waste your money.

First time eating here, would definitely go back! :) I am an avid butter chicken lover, and this is in my top 3!! My bf got the medium spicy level butter chicken and it was wayyyy too spicy for me, but he enjoyed it!! Said that it tasted the way butter chicken is supposed to taste !! The garlic naan was a perfect touch, and the rice was cooked to perfection! We have lots of leftovers we re looking forward to!!

I live directly above for years and when they moved in the music became a lot. Living above them has become very stressful and tense, relaxing is hard. Doesn t matter what time it is (except from 11pm until 10am you hope) and they don t have respect for neighbours, i have called and asked to turn down many times & i was told that it isn t loud & they can continue to play.. Won t even turn it down and compromise with neighbours. You cannot dismiss many complaints from others who actually live here not just work. I have given up on calling to turn it down as they dismiss it every. single. time. Not professional!!

The volume of the music frequently reaches a level where it permeates my living space, overpowering any other ambient sounds such as my television or everyday activities. I wish to emphasize that my attempts to address this matter have been met with disappointment. I have visited the restaurant in person and made phone calls to voice my concerns, only to be met with rudeness and dismissive attitudes from the staff. These complaints were by no means unreasonable, as they pertained to the impact of the restaurant s operations on the immediate residential community. It is disheartening to note that this issue appears to be a recurring one, as other neighbors have also voiced their grievances in the past, only to see their concerns go unaddressed. I sincerely hope that the management of the restaurant takes a more proactive stance in rectifying this situation and demonstrating a greater regard for the peace and comfort of its neighboring residents. In closing, while I understand the importance of maintaining an enjoyable dining environment, it is equally crucial for the restaurant to respect the peace and well-being of those residing in the vicinity. I trust that the management will consider this feedback as a constructive opportunity to enhance their approach and foster a more harmonious relationship with the local community.

What a disappointment, we drove an hour to Brockvile and decided to eat at this Indian restaurant. Nothing was cooked properly we ordered the chicken tandoori, it wasn t cooked properly as we could see the fresh blood in it. My mom only ate the top part and not close to the bones because of that. Both paneer makhani and chicken tikka masala were the same texture. When we asked the server she mentioned it s two different dishes, but to me it was just that the cook added chicken pieces and green pepper to the chicken tikka masala dish with same soupy texture and paneer to the other. Me and my sister only ate the naan and rice. Aloo tikki chat was the only good thing we ate there.

Third time dining here and will definitely be back! Excellent food and helpful, friendly, and attentive service. An outstanding addition to the Brockville dining scene!

Very good, authentic Indian food in the heart of Brockville! Good portion sizes and reasonable prices with kind and attentive wait staff. Ordered the Chicken Vindaloo with medium spice. Came out exactly as I had wanted, but may be a bit spicier than expected to some.

Brockvilles Gem!!! Impeccable service paired with unforgettable Indian flavors! From the starters to the main course each bite is an explosion of flavors. Interior is amazing Lost in the taste forgot to snap food pics. Highly recommend butter chicken, chicken tikka, Chicken Pakora.

Always great eating here! Usually get the vegan dinner for 2 for 2 of us, and have a couple of meals out of it for a good price! The staff are all very nice

We were visiting from Ottawa. I must say it was a great expirenece in terms of food and service. Kawarpal (KP) was really very polite and served us really well. All in all, great food, great service.

This is our favourite restaurant in Brockville. The food is consistently fresh, expertly prepared and delicious. Its so comforting to have a restaurant of this caliber to enjoy a wonderful meal. I recommend taking friends and family to this establishment if you want to have an enjoyable dining experience.
