The Italian salad was delicious, but a little pricey. The service was excellent. The setting is beautiful.

Hubby and I went for our 31st wedding anniversary. We traveled from Pittsburgh, USA. Veal piccata was amazing and hubs loved his penne pasta. The shrimp sambuca as an appetizer was incredible. Then they surprised us with cake with a caramel sauce!

The food is fresh and fantastic. Service is wonderful, friendly courteous staff.

Had prime rib and Yorkshire pudding. The meal was excellent. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here with family a few weeks ago and my husband and I are still talking about how fantastic it was. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful. It is warm and very inviting. The presentation was superb, and food cooked to perfection. ( Rib eye steak was delicious!) The service was very professional and they made you feel right at home. Big thank you to the Chef . We look forward to our next meal at the Mill!

New years Eve celebration

Had birthday dinner, 11 people. Everyone completly satisfied with their meals, atmosphere, and waiter was superb. Only thing (and this was completly my fault as I didnt read all) I really did not like was the Escargot. I am used to it in a little dish, mushroom stuffed with escargot, garlic butter and cheese. When put in front of me, I was disappointed. There was too much and not very appetizing (just as I said tho, in my opinion) Overall, dinner was great and service excellent. No rushing us out which was great as we tend to talk a lot. Have been here before and will gladly return and recommend to others. Thankyou for a great evening! Parking: Great parking

ordered take out and it was HOT, and absolutely one of the best pasta dishes Ive had! The male on the phone (possibly the owner) was so sweet when I arrived to pick it up. Im not from the area, but if I was- this would be a definite regular place for us!

Excellent place. They are a bit more pricy than most restaurants but its totally worth it. The food is excellent and the staff are also. You never have to track them down for anything they are already taking care of you ( more water or bread and drinks), or anything else that they think you might need. I highly suggest people to give this place a try . Great for an anniversary or a romantic date.

My sister booked a reservation for us when I was visiting - we were running late due to my plane coming in late but they were very understanding and accommodating. We both had the chicken parm and it was delicious. Started great with fresh bread served while we waiting for main dish. Would definitely recommend and go again

Generous and delicious dishes for a reasonable price. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Dietary restrictions: They do their best to accommodate people with dietary restrictions, lactose and gluten. On the other hand, they cannot ensure that there has been no cross-contamination.

Food was great, so was the staff. I had the chicken parm, and it was delicious. The Chicken Triollo was also outstanding. Will be back for sure. It would be lovely to have a patio beside the creek outside Parking: Lot at the front is super tiny, and oddly shaped, but usable.

Wow, we were there to celebrate a bday, and did we ever! Reservations had been made and were required. Not an overwhelming big place, sound absorbing walls and floors, so you can have a conversation with your vis-à-vis, and the waiting staff know about satisfying the clients. Service with a smile throughout. The menu was appealing and they had other specials of the day. In the end our individual selections were delicious, served nice and hot. You want to add dessert? Pick the Tartufo!!! You will not be disappointed. Our waitress even said that she would remember, next time we visit! And that was before handing me the bill. I said we definitely would return if only for said Tartufo. The bill? Very very reasonable for the selection, including two glasses of wine, dessert and tea and coffee. If you visit Brockville, call ahead and reserve, you will not regret it.

Came here for a birthday dinner, made a reservation a few days in advance. Started off with their escargot, while the sauce was good, the escargot didnt seem fresh. Its tasted like it came from the cans (which it likely was). For our main entrees, we ordered the prime rib and yorkshire pudding which was delicious and the veal piccata. The entrees were delicious and made for a great birthday meal.

Fantastic service and delicious cuisine. Our family unintentionally arrived 30 minutes prior to close and were obviously underdressed, but the staff was understanding, pleasant, and respectful. We ll definitely be back.

We had our wedding dinner and have been back several times. Food is good, and service is awesome.

The service was very good, prompt and friendly. The meals were tasty and well presented. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of better quality wine selection by the glass. As for the atmosphere, I was expecting to see more of the old mill reflected in the dining room. Instead, we were seated in a room with drywall finish and limit window viewing.

Walked in on a walkabout and they took us right away and treated us very well. In spite of it being a busy evening for them, they took great care of us. Excellent wine, food and dessert to die for. Beautiful decor as well. Will definitely return on our next visit to Brockville!

I wanted to love this place but it missed the mark for me. The Brie appetizer was not baked enough and we are sure that the veggies in both our dishes (prime rib and pasta special of the day) were frozen and just boiled, which was really disappointing. The crème brulée was just ok. On the plus side, our server was amazing and the food came pretty quickly. However if we re ever back in town, we would try a different restaurant.

I explained where our table/my wheelchair should be for ease of maneuverability. There is a ramp to the entrance. The door is a bit dicey to manage. The washroom had an accessible stall.

We went for dinner prior to attending a show and the experience was so pleasant. First of all, Cindy, our waitress asked if we were going to the show and when we told her we were she assured us that she would get our orders and food quickly so we wouldn t be late and she did just that. She worked alongside Lynn and Territ( I hope I didn t do too much damage to your name), who were also very efficient and friendly. The food was amazing and I just can t say enough about this restaurant. We will definitely be going back and if you haven t been, you need to get your shoes on right now ( oh maybe not right now- it s closed for the evening - but tomorrow), and get over there. You won t regret it!

Food and service was excellent. French onion soup perfect. Escargot cream sauce, smooth and tasty. All entrees were enjoyed and shared. Definitely return.

Booked reservation one month prior to tall ships arrival on June 24. Got to restaurant and was shown to a table beside the cash register and a buffet table placed against the wall that held their menus . Mentioned that we had booked a month ago and was given some attitude from an older lady I assume was a manager. Food was good service was great but she ruined an otherwise nice evening. She seemed to be in water over her head.

Great spot near the water. Food was fantastic (had Caesar, steak and a pasta dish). Service was the best Ive had in awhile. They even had a free dessert for our anniversary. Only issue was that it was a bit loud in the back room, but it was a joyful noise.

Went with my family for dinner at The Mill having heard it was one of the best spots in Brockville. Im happy to say that we were not disappointed! 3 of us had the prime rib special, which is served with Yorkshire pudding, potatoes and vegetables. The prime rib was cooked perfectly as were the potatoes and the carrots, and Yorkshire pudding can be a bit of a rarity in Canada so its always nice to see it served. For desert a couple of us shared the sticky toffee pudding which was also excellent. While Brockville has a number of great food spots to choose from, it does lack a bit in upscale dining. The Mill is one of the better spots in Brockville and I would recommend it for your special occasions.

Excellent restaurant! Amazing service. We had several items from the menu and highly recommend everything we ordered - prime rib was fantastic, shrimp pasta, bruschetta - all homemade, hot and fresh. The desserts are absolutely fantastic- my wife had the chocolate cheesecake and I had the sticky toffee pudding - both the best we ever had. Service was attentive and polite. I look forward to coming back here again!

The atmosphere is quiet, clean & peaceful. The food is fabulous! This is definitely a restaurant you want to go to for a lovely dinner.

My wife Christine and I went there yesterday for our 24th anniversary, and were warmly greeted, and seated promptly by the friendly hostess for the evening. I have a bad memory with names, and apologize for that, but our hostess was very kind and humorous as well, with my request to check the alcohol percentage on the red wines, because of a health issue, I cannot have more than one glass. My wife is gluten and lactose intolerant, and our hostess made sure these concerns were addressed properly, and all the while, all with humorous reparty. Anyways, my wife had the small beet salad, and maple glazed salmon, and I had a small Italian salad with shrimp, and the seafood linguini as my main course. We had a surprise, free, sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which was the cherry topping for our evening out. Excellent food, and impeccable friendly service. Worth every penny and we will definitely be back.

This is NOT Italian food. The dishes were ok, but for the amount of money I paid I was anticipating more than an ok experience. I wanted a special night for my sister s birthday, and in the end the dinner just didn t seem all that special. When did bruschetta include feta cheese? I asked for stracciatella and I got, I m sorry WHAT?!? Yah. That s an Italian basic and they had no clue. Disappointing.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were very impressed. The place is clean, the decor is tasteful, and the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. We ordered the prime rib and it was incredible. The portions were very generous and everything we ordered tasted incredible. The prices were reasonable. The servers and service was absolutely top shelf as well. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family, and visiting again ourselves in the future.

Fantastic! My fiance and I were passing through Brockville and wanted a little romantic candle light dinner. We stumbled upon the mill restaurant and let me just say the outside was super cute! The staff was very sweet and quick. We were sat at a nice table. The food was excellent! You definitely get for what you pay for! If we are in Brockville again we will absolutely come back!

Great take-out meals tonight from the Mill. I had placed an order with dietary restrictions on it. They realized as plating the order there was an issue with one of elements and the restrictions. They quickly corrected the issue and advised me of the issue so I understood why it took a few minutes longer. Amazing food, great service in these challenging times. See you again soon.

Unfortunately, I didnt the any pictures but the food was incredible. I have been here before. The Mill is known to be a higher end restaurant and for that reason we came here to celebrate my girlfriend getting a new job and my dads birthday. We all got something different off the menu. Apps we started with was calamari, stuffed mushrooms and the escargot. I tried all of them and all tasted fantastic. I had the prime rib and I have to say its prime rib. Does life get better than that? On a side note: The tables were spread out and you were not seated close to anyone in a covid world we live in now, this was a huge bonus. They may have lost a few tables for capacity... but I enjoyed the dining experience way more because you could only hear the conversation at your own table. I recommend the Mill to anyone looking for a great meal. It does come at a higher than average price point but you get what you pay for.

Came with a group of 10 or so. I had the stuffed mushrooms, lamb chops and chocolate cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious. Would recommend and will for sure be back.

The food is delicious and they have a vast selection to choose from. Their portions are very generous as well. Try the baked brie for an appitizer, you wont be disappointed. The staff is so accommodating and efficient which made our night feel like a celebration from start to end. We loved and will be back again soon!

And the food was great. My SO enjoyed all their courses. And they accommodated my plant based diet (vegan) with a great dish (I called ahead to ask, so call ahead). Medium to pricey, but worth it!

We were impressed with the variety on the menu as well as the days specials..lots to choose from. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and always refilling our water glasses, unbeknownst to us we stayed talking with our friends until after closing and she didnt let us know they were closing until after we asked. Look, Im in the restaurant industry so Im really hard to impress. But The Mill in Brockville? What a gem of a place! My wife, Melissa, and I went for dinner there this evening. Reservation was handled properly and we were greeted warmly. The ambience was calming. The owner, (never got her name, sadly), came over and chatted with us for a while. Very nice lady. Our server, Rachel, was professional, friendly, and efficient. Just a really nice person. Menu had just the right number of options and the wine list matched the menu perfectly. As for the food, let me put it like this. My wife described the food as being the best weve had since our wedding dinner at the 3-star AG Cuisine in Niagara Falls. I have to agree. Fabulous pasta, great steak, best calamari we could remember having. A wonderful experience. We cant wait to go back!

The Mill seems like the kind of place thats been around forever and has its fair share of regulars Id imagine. Certainly not modern but more of a cozy classic type of vibe. The food was average but enjoyable, the real gem was the service. There were two servers working when we went and both were kind, helpful, and seemed like they really enjoyed being there.

We had a family celebration last evening at The Mill and it was wonderful! There were 8 of us and Covid19 is a constant concern for all of us. Our meals were all delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was top notch! The staff ensured our distance from others which allowed us to relax and enjoy!

Very friendly staff and gave us tons of garlic bread at no cost. Food was amazing and delicious but on the pricy side. Expect to pay close to $30 min. You get good quality for what you pay for.

My husband and I brought my mother and our son here a few days ago. The food was delicious. Service was great considering our waiter seemed busy with all the tables. We felt safe as all the tables were at a good distance apart. We cannot wait to return.

Food is delicious, pricey but quality is there. The interior is nicely designed and has more of a romantic ambience. Parking is very limited so that might become an issue. View is beautiful if you get a window seat with the view of the river.
