Food and service was great. One of the best Chicken quesadilla iv ever had. Chicken wings were also delicious Definitely will be back :)

YOU PAY A 3% CHUCKS TAX ON EVERYTHING, PLUS THE 13% TAX, PLUS TIP !! They hide the notication in their beverage menu, thereby notifying you of this TAX. I dont know if this is even legal? They say its for the cheap price of their steaks and lobster, but from the reviews, it seems that their meat and lobster are sub-par!!

Are here for lunch en route to Montreal and the steaks were excellent. Great value and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and overall a great food experience of a proper roadhouse grill.

Excellent food at a good price, ordered online and it said it would be ready in 45 minutes. When I got there after 40 minutes they were packaging it up. Speedy service that was exactly what I ordered. Everything was great and hot.

Just left 10:30 at night after waiting 10 minutes to get seated and then another ignored for 10 minutes in our booth we walked out. It wasn t overly crowded, but I honestly think the servers look even more mad than we did. This might just be a guess, but I have to feel that poor management may have been what contributed to a lacklustre atmosphere and absolutely no effort on part of the staff.

It was just a few months ago that I learned of this being a Chucks. The food is decent. The restaurant is decent and because of the price Ive never been disappointed. Unfortunately, the server really didnt seem that interested in providing a great service. Im not saying it was bad, it just wasnt great. I will be back.

Very disappointed. Drove one hour to take my 85 year old parents for a steak dinner. Waited one hour for our food because they forgot us. Mom only took 2 bites of her steak and it was like rubber. I had lobster that was so dry tasted awful only ate half and my boxed mashed potatoes were not even warm. It was cold. Dad said his steak was awful but ate it because he was hungry. My 1st visit and our last. After multiple attempts in receiving our full refund on food we never ate. Disappointed that they offered 50.00 pre paid card. 100%fully Disappointed

Had the worst barbecue ribs of my life from this place, so just steer clear. They arrived ice cold, covered in unrendered fat and still with the silverskin on, AKA not prepped at all. This is like, ribs 101, and they have a barbecue joint? Seriously disappointing considering the price. There are way better restaurants in Brockville than Upchucks.

Tries this restaurant a few years ago didnt like it. Thought I would give it another try as the one in Ottawa on Iris Street was Amazing. Tried the one in Brockville 2 weeks ago. Our bill was over 100 but we order filet minor. My partners meal had to be sent back the meat was not cooked and raw. The corn tasted like they opened up a can on no-name corn and threw it in the bowl, lots of water and NO flavor. My meal arrived steak was OK the corn was the same as my partners. My mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant and they were cold the gravy was luke warm.. We will never go to CHUCKS ROADHOUSE in Brockville again. I tried to give it another try. They shouldve not charged us for his meal as they served us RAW meat and it had to be sent back. Any Good restaurant would not have charged for a meal that had to be sent back.Itvwas obviously that this restaurant is just about the bottom dollar and not customer service or quality of food. Im surprised it hasnt been shut down. Maybe the restaurant inspectors should investigate the quality of the meal that went out raw and served to clientele

Waited almost 20 minutes to even be noticed so we could be sat. It then took an hour for us to get our food. You d think the place was packed but there was maybe 6 other tables sat, half of which were also waiting extended periods of time to even order their drinks. Finally received our meals and my Nana s fish was visibly overcooked. It then took another 20 minutes for her to get a new order of fish but was given the same fries from the first order of fish, thus giving cold fries and no more energy to argue over food. We were hungry!! We ate faster than we waited. Lastly I wish I hadve used the restroom when we first arrived. I went in after eating and decided I was better off holding it for the rest of the car ride. Been a fan of Chuck s Roadhouse for a few years now but this location is not up to par with their other locations.

Food was overcooked or oil needed changing, tables needed to be evened out with servers, servers needed more help with time management. Management needs customer service training, food was edible if you re starving. Wait times are terrible and atmosphere was not welcoming especially servers walked around looking like they wished they were somewhere else but need to pay their bills.

Save your money, go anywhere but here. Its not what it used to be. There must be new owners. We went for appetizers after fireworks. We waited 25 minutes for drinks. People seated after us were served first after we had been waiting. 50 minutes before food arrived. Chicken fingers arrived burnt and sent them back. The new serving of chicken fingers arrived, and instead of moving things to place the dish down, my 12 year old daughter took the dish & burnt her hand. He told her it was hot a little too late. Cheap skate owners, pay to have more servers on the floor and ensure the ones you do have are working.

Its a wonderful place to go have dinner with friends and family. Service is awesome. They are so polite and Respectful. Its always busy and the atmosphere is a vibe.

Host seated us right away. Nobody came to table for 20 minutes and it was only because we had asked if we could order. No water offered or provided. Meal came relatively quick but no checking to see if all was ok and no drink refill. We had to go to the bar to get our bill as server had disappeared. Would not return to this place. Very disappointed.

We were a party of 16 adults & one newborn (celebrating a birthday) on May 31, 2024 and the service was excellent. Our waiter kept tabs on us the whole time and was able to get whatever we needed (extra cutlery, plates, drinks etc). The food was delicious and they even let us bring our own cake in. I definitely recommend this place!

They cut me off after 6 drinks I was only there 35 minutes

1/2 price apps after 9pm is where its at, with any drink purchase - even pop. It was game night and quite loud inside however the patio was lovely and more our vibe. Definitely recommend the nachos! Prit was the one attending to us that night. He was incredibly kind, efficient and checked on us the perfect amount. Exceptional customer service from Prit. Definitely recommend sitting in his section. Overall, a fun night!

My family and I were in for dinner on Saturday evening the food was delicious and our server was magnificent Tracey anticipated when we needed refills dessert and to go containers before we had to ask. Worst experience ever with my waiter asked for a non spicy ceaser drink received a spicy one, husband got a watered down ice tea. When I asked about their nachos and if they could do ground beef and then waiter stated he had no idea and I asked if he was new he said no so asked him so you dont know if you can put ground beef on the nachos hes like no in a rude manor so my husband and I stated wed gladly pay for our drinks and would be going somewhere else to dine. I passed him our menus where they where grabbed out of my hand and he walked away rudely. Definitely not going back or will be reccomending to any friends of family of mine.

My wife and I live in Cornwall and we love doing the one hour drive just to come to this restaurant. Even during covid, we would come, place our order and have our dinner date in the car in the parking lot. We came last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We both ordered the wings with BBQ sauce and we split a full rack of ribs with fries. OMG it was so good. We had complete satisfaction with the wings as the sauce was so delicious. Then, the ribs gave us double satisfaction as they were just as delicious. Finally, the fries, dipped in their gravy was also really good for a side. Our bellies were happy and Im not exaggerating when I say that feeling lasted long after we left the restaurant. We have traveled a lot and visited many locations around the region and we even noticed a new one in Prescott, which is only 10 minutes away from Brockville. Every time we visit, we make a point of talking to the owner or having the message passed onto him about opening a location in Cornwall. Cornwall would be an excellent location for this restaurant as there is really nothing of the kind. We are perfectly located an hour away from Ottawa and Montreal and just fifteen minutes from U.S. border. We have a lot big events happening throughout the year that attract thousand of people from all over. Chucks Roadhouse would be very successful in Cornwall because the prices are very competitive and fair compared to the other restaurants in the city. I know wed be there once a week. Please consider it! Parking: Usually always packed but we always find a spot. There is a Dollarama beside and theres more room to park Kid-friendliness: Weve witness kids parties and the staff is great with them

The garlic pan bread as an appetizer was not good at all. 5 small buns topped with garlic butter and sprinkled parmesan cheese was terrible, not worth $7.99. We were expecting slices of bread.

I moved to Brockville back in 2020 and I have made Chuck s Roadhouse a regular restaurant/bar that I can go to a few times a week. The main reasons that I prefer Chuck s over several other restaurants/bars that are in the same area is the fact that the STAFF (and not a single bad experience with any of the bartenders/servers) and also the food has always made my visits more enjoyable than I expected them to be. The staff that I have gotten to know better usually because I would go there at night are: Brady, Matt, Laurene, Ashley and Maddie) The staff are always positive, respectful and polite despite some of the clients that they have to deal with during or after their drinks/dinners that certainly could cause a lot of frustrations to them but they usually maintain a smile and positive attitude while on their shifts.

I ve been a regular customer of Chucks Roadhouse in Brockville now for the last few years and couldn t say anything but how much improvement the restaurant has since the day they opened, to where they are now . As a Buisiness owner I ve had the opportunity to watch the owners make what once seemed a stressful and overwhelmed staff turn out to be one of the best I ve ever known . It all came with hard work and everyone working together to complete a goal to be successful and never give up! Over the last few years I ve been fortunate enough to say that Chucks Brockville has become a place which I look forward to going to and being a part of . And have I ever felt unwelcome.. To Lauren, Brady, Matt, Dom, Ashley, Maddy, Tracey, Chelsea, .you have made my experience with you guys the best ever!! You guys always pick me up even when I walk in with my head down and you guys are the reason we all keep coming back! Thanks for making it seem like a home with a door that s always open! Lauren is a fast efficient bartender and always smiling. I am there often and have zero complaints with any of the bartenders. Food is good and you can t beat the 1/2 off apps @9pm

We had Matt as a server and he was absolutely amazing! Only server on the whole floor on a busy Monday night and he still killed it, and brought us our food and drink in a timely manner. Always sweet service from him.

Brockville location is an awesome restaurant. The staff are always fast and pleasant. We just love Lauren, she sees us coming and has our beer on the table. That personal touch makes a restaurant superb. We had a new server today, Kees was his name. Same great service that we ve come to expect and appreciate from this location. The owner really knows how to hire great staff! We are never disappointed!!

Tuesday night service was terrible. I did not even get the baked potato and the rib eye was noticeably small. 10 min for the waitress to take my order. 20 to get some of my food and 30 min waiting for my bill. I had to stand in front of my table and ask a passing waitress for it. The honest to goodness tax they added to my bill was neither honest nor good.

Long wait to be seated, one of the servers reeked of perfume, long wait for service even for drinks, then never came back to take our order until I waved at him 3 times. Half an hour later finally received a Mediocre steak and small lobster tail way over cooked. Chicken club boring. Sticky table, chair was broken. Dirty floors. Won t be back.

Our Server Tracy was amazing and the food was first class at a price quite a bit less than we are use to paying at other restaurants in the GTA where we live. We will be repeat customers at your establishments. We meet friends from Montreal here in Brockville so the five of us went here for dinner and we all loved our meal and overall experience and we will be back. Thank you Tracy and staff. Parking: Parking is a non issue as there is plenty of places to park.

Finally went here after all the bad reviews I decided to try it in person. Its one thing for meat to be moist and flavorful. Its quite another for there to be so much grease that the bun falls apart in your hands. I expected fantastic meat from this placeand I was severely disappointed. I wont be back.

I went in for lunch today with some friends and I just wanted to leave a comment, seeing that there is so many negative comments and I dont understand why. Every time I come to Chucks Brady serves me, and she is your best bartender. I never have to ask for a refill, she is definitely the friendliest bartender at Chucks. All of us said how efficient she is, and she is hilarious. My face hurts when I leave because of her sense of humour. The prices of the food are ridiculous, its definitely a bonus, but we like to come on our lunch break on Thursdays because we know Brady is working, shes your best bartender. We love you Brady!!

Have to say after having not been here for years we were so happy to see Ashley still here. We were skeptical coming due to our last time being here. Although it being years ago during Covid and things were messy. We remember Ashley because of her persistence and beautiful assertiveness even when being so busy but still accommodating to our needs. We did have a mistake with our steaks being cooked accurate.

I just want to say it s been exceptionally done service when done by Ashley Matt and Brady. Please don t change. Fast service is great service.

We arrived at a half empty restaurant with a number tables recently vacated, we were hoping to come in with a group of 5 for dinner (8:30pm) the manager came over to us and said nope! He said they were backed up and they needed time to catch up, I said we didn t mind waiting, we understood they were running behind, I asked if we could just sit, I even joked that we could help bus tables he told me no and that we would have to leave I told him that it was my friends birthday (totally true) and pushed me towards the door - we had walked over as we were staying at the hotel next door for a hockey tournament - turns out he let everyone else in but my little group of 5 (2 kids 3 adults) disgusted with their lack of service

FLABBERGASTED!!! Went with co-workers last night to celebrate someone moving on to new horizons, and a birthday as well. We arrived to a nearly empty establishment. We were greeted (I use the term loosly) by a very sour server. She was rude, and a bit condescending. She seemed to single out some aggression in the direction of one of my co-workers. This culminated in him calling her out on it. Which then she started screaming at us across the dining room. Since most of us had eaten (well except for the order she forgot) we were asked to pay and leave. Afterwards one of my other co-workers was trying to have a civil conversation with the supposed owner, but the language that was coming from her mouth was very uncouth and unprofessional! My associate repeatedly had to ask her to refrain from swearing at him. I am totally disgusted by the way the staff and owners represented your company. I will never darken the doorstep of an Obsidian establishment again!

Service was a bit slow, we had to ask twice for the ordered beverage to actually get brought to the table.

To start we were seated at approximately 7:20 PM. We did not have a server come over for over 20 minutes, even for us to order a drink. Finally, we ordered drinks, an appetizer and entrees all at the same time. After another approximate 20 minutes, we still had no drinks (now 40 mins since arrival), but the appetizer was brought out to us. We had to ask/remind the waitress of our drinks as it wasnt even noticed by our waitress we didnt receive our drinks. Those were brought over within 5 minutes. It was an additional approx 20 minutes from when the appetizer arrived to the entrees arriving, meaning the entrees were received over 1 hr after arrival. I wont completely fault the waitress, as she was finishing up dealing with a large crowd of approx 15 people when we arrived, but this was when we first arrived. As you can see from the photo, the lobster received was extremely overcooked. I understand its $25 surf and turf. However I question any chef that would think its okay to send something as overcooked as that to a customer. It doesnt take much effort to realize this is obviously trash and a refire is required. Unfortunately this lobster was so overcooked, it couldnt even be salvaged by drowning it in butter to add moisture back to the meat. After waiting over an hour to get this overcooked atrocity, it wasnt even worth asking for it to go back. We simply had enough and didnt want to waste anymore time in this place. We have eaten at this location plenty of times in the past. After tonight, we would never recommend nor attend this establishment ever again. Even the server should have seen how horribly overcooked this lobster was before serving it. All around, it was an unfortunate terrible experience on all fronts.

Great steaks and burgers

One of the worst restaurants weve encountered in a long time. The food was awful. My kid wouldnt even eat her chicken strips. And she loves those regularily. Charred burgers made dark and rock hard. Fries cold and flaccid. It took forever to be seated and served. The waitress came by once to ask how the food was, did not allow us to answer, she immediately said great and walked away before we could express our disgust and frustration with the food served to us. We ended up not eating much at all and leaving asap as it was clear the service was not going to get better. Our family would not recommend eating here.

I can t rate 5 stars as it is not a 5 stars restaurant but I can assure you that it s the best bang for your buck in a 100 km radius. 15$ for ribs, 4 chicken wings and fries! A steal. Everything is always good when I go there. You will be amazed at the prices this place has, in 2024. After taxes and a 5$ tip, it cost me 22$. 100% recommend.

Horrible food. Had the surf and turf. my filet mignon was so rare, it looked like it was slapped on the grill flipped and put on my plate. sent it back. came out still pouring blood when I cut into it. I asked for medium. which this was nowhere near either time. They did not charge me after arguing for half an hour about it.The other people which we were a table of 7 were all disappointed with their meals as well. Baked potato was rock hard sent back and came back just as bad. The porterhouse steaks were also a disappointment. Service was extremely slow and when asked to do separate bills for the table, it was put all on one. NEVER AGAIN! This was the second time going there, thlight we would give it a second chance boy were we wrong.

The waitress was excellent and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was ok other than unruly and loud children. I realize that the restaurant has to serve guests but I believe that they should be able to politely talk to the adults and ask them to control their children.

The atmosphere, food and prices were great. Krupa was the best server my wife and I have ever had in a restaurant. She is so pleasant. This was our first time at Chucks but we will be back and hope that Krupa is our server the next time.

Food served cold Lobster tail over cooked and smelled off, steak was over rare and served pretty much ice cold. Meat wasnt good quality either had that almost fuzzy effect it gets when it wasnt frozen correctly on the exteriors. Server wasnt the greatest either. The only redeeming quality is that its relatively cheap.. but Id pay good money for good food and service and it just wasnt here. And the poutine.. small and cold. Broke my heart. Never been to a good chucks before but compared to the one beside ikea in ottawa this one was far superior so at least theres that. Lots of room for improvement well see next time.

went to chucks last night, for dinner, the burgers were the size of large sliders, but they were tasty, the service atrocious, when we arrived we stood waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes, finally the bartender sat us at a booth, after about another 5minutes a young skinny lad took our drink orders, and a few minutes later delivered our drinks, took our orders, and never saw our waiter again, had to flag down someone for condiments, not on the table, finally our waiter noticed we were finished our meals, and came to take the plates away, including the drinks we hadnt yet finished ?? We sat at the table for a good 15 minutes, with our coats on, waiting for our bill, feeling totally invisible to everyone working in the restaurant. Well never go there again, normally I tip at least 25% of the total bill, but after last night, our server,got the tip he deserved, the least I could give him,based on the bill and the cash I had with me.

Open until midnight on Monday! I went to many other restaurants to find them closed. They were open, even though it was about 1130pm they greeted me promptly, provided food and drinks, and did not make me feel rushed or told me they were closing soon as many have said in the past. It was a very good end of my day!

Very good atmosphere in this restaurant-bar. The service is fast and efficient. I really liked the Harley Davidson motorcycle at the entrance. I ate a burger and it was delicious. Prices are very competitive.

Place is a busy one. Food was pretty good. Waiter messed our order up. Didnt even know he did. Haha. Its all good. Ill go back again. A place with many selections. Im bound to try some more.

Best food in Ontario Canada

Went to dinner with my sister and had a ok experience here. It was really busy when we got there and so I do understand there will be a wait time. When the food arrived it the deep fried food looked a little over cooked but other then that its was good. Ill definitely go again and recommend this place.

Was grabbing a late night dinner around 8pm and found this restaurant. It was tasty! Loved the Montreal sandwich and the filet was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was very attentive and made us feel very comfortable.

Ordered surf and turf. First lobster was almost burnt. Replacement was raw. Julie, in charge of the kitchen staff was just short of ignorant about the issue. Never even apologized for the problem. Said since the steak was eaten, would only discount $6. We won t be back. Food

Not a fun experience and it s really too bad. I ordered the surf and turf. The lobster came to me very well done. Told the server of which she took it back. The main supervisor came out and asked me what my problem was? I showed her how well done the lobster tail was. They gave me another which came back raw. I think they thought that was funny. Another supervisor by the name of Julie came over and basically made me feel like I was the problem. Told me thy would discount it ( 6.00) off. Big. Deal. Terrible service and the one didn t even apologize. The server felt bad. Won t be going back any time soon. They made me feel like I was the problem. Stand by your product team Chucks in Brockville! Maybe get some adult supervisors to take care of your customers!

Went with a group of friends last night, and have never had such a horrible dining experince. The service was slow, and my order arrived burnt. The manager who came to speak to our table - Julie - was beyond rude and unprofessional. Asked us what our problem was, to which we responded that the food was burnt. We sent the food back, and the second time it came around, it was raw. The waitress was very nice (and treated rudely by the manager) and apologized. The manager then said she couldnt do anything about the meal and refused to provide compensation, even though the meal - the surf and turf, more specifically the lobster - was inedible. We wouldnt have had a problem with the restaurant if it werent for the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the manager, Julie. Furthermore, my table and i could see Julie drinking at the bar with other patrons. Would not recommend this place to others, and am also concerned about the kitchen following food safety protocols.

Everything was great, but I find their 3% for-the-hell-of-it fee completely unethical. Shame too, because even with the fee the restaurant offers great value for money, great atmosphere, food was great, great for kids, and I liked my waitress. If theyre going to be scammy with people, they should at least be funny about it. Instead of the 3% fee they could charge for using the bathroom, cutlery, salt and pepper etc. I would have never noticed an extra dollar or two on my steak, but I will starve on the streets before I go back here again.

If I could give half a star for food I would. food was cold and steak was not cooked correctly. They didnt even know the difference between their steaks. I do not recommend this place for steak. worst experience ever! only good thing on my plate was gravy.

Almost get what you pay for. Food could definitely be served hotter. Onion rings were not crispy at all. Cesar salad very good. Half chicken very good, wings were so so. Ribs were good. Management really truly needs to do better. Brockville is trying to support you and your business. If you arent trying to improve the consistency and quality of your meals then where does that leave you.

Had a steak, was cooked to perfection and was melt in my mouth delicious!!

Philly cheese sandwich bread was soggy with liquid. Chicken wings were good.

Fries were undercooked. The Philly cheese steak was nothing more than a roast beef sandwich with bbq sauce. The fish was a nice size portion.
