Tincap is such a beautiful restaurant! The workers are very friendly and very understanding, and the customers are very kind and have a good sense of humour too. My husband, my mom and I stopped by for breakfast on our way for an appointment here in Brockville. We live in Ottawa! I highly recommend stopping here if you're around or in this region! I would give 10 stars! Thank you Tincap for having given us a great experience! We will be back soon :)
Stopped by for breakfast on the weekend and WOW. I was expecting it to be the average diner food. Was I wrong!!!! amazzzzzzing service and huge portions and great food. If u haven't been to this restaurant it's a must go.. keep up the great work..
Greeted by the Waitress with a Smile Notice coffee pot(discussing) My coffee had oil floating in it Very week, color very strong put 4 milkettes My BLT was perfect 10/10 Other breakfast ( ask Eggs over Meduim (received over easy) 4/10
Portion sizes and flavors are spot on. From the soup of the day, to the porkchops with apple sauce and the rice pudding for desert. Very wonderfully delicious. Will definitely be back and recommended to others.
Great diner I really liked the food and the service here. Good prices and very good environment I will definitely come back here. I really enjoyed my time here and find the environment to be cozy and private. The restaurant was fairly busy today, but I got a seat and my food fairly quickly. The restaurant has a huge menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The number one quality of the restaurant is the staff. They are fast and they are kind. This is one of the best restaurants in Brockville and the food is great. The portion size is really good and the prices are reasonable. I like eating here especially when I have a friend with me. This was our second time here ever and the last time was about 4 years ago maybe 3 ... I say that because im not sure if this was a joke or if someone thought we were someone else when we called but the onions on the pizza we ordered were ... They made the pizza inedible the person cutting these onions couldn't have been a chef or a cook at all they were literally quartered ... And unreasonably too many ... AND I LOVE ONIONS ... The sauce we asked for extra got almost none but the taste was good and the cheese was good ... Not spending 30 bucks on a pizza here again the toppings we ordered were tomato onion extra sauce and mushroom. Medium 30 bucks. I don't recommend this one the taste wasn't good enough to believe in this place again, sorry. (Just go to Luna!)
We grabbed a pizza for takeout wanting to try something different. Cute little diner, friendly man working. The pizza wasn't that good. Good amount of sauce and cheese but overall it was very bland. There were huge onion chunks/core/skin. We had to take all the onions off from under the cheese because it wasn't edible. Pizza was cut very unevenly, which made servings difficult. It was $30 for this medium pizza so we won't be returning.
Really impressed with Tincap restaurant’s new breakfast menu! It’s hard to see adjusted prices for vegetarians (we always pay full price for breakfast, even if we don’t want any meat on our plate) and I appreciated the options! It was such a nice thing to see. Staff were so friendly and kind, the food was delicious and the vibe is comforting.

Consistantly great food and excellent service. As an extra bonus, stop by the mens washroom to see the most Canadian vandalism youll ever find. Bob and Doug would be proud! For those who go to a franchise breakfast place, you should be coming here instead for vastly better food and service for comparable to less cost. Its a no-brainer.

Went in for a coffee and a bite with my wife and son. Staff greated us warmly and the waitress was great. Its a place where regulars return for a reason. Will be back. Update, went back today and the place was even better.
You cant beat the prices and service here. Lots of choices to choose from. Lots of seats available. Service staff were top notch. Nicole was fantastic in serving us.

I have been going here for years and will say its by far one of my favorite restaurants,the staff is beyond friendly and helpful and the owner is too! The food mostly homemade and served hot too! Thier turkey dinner is to die for and there home fries as well as thier soups.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is good and affordable, the coffee is great, the service is quick. bit of a wait depending on when you go, but thats not the restaurants fault. this is our favorite place in the area for coffee and breakfast.

Place has new face lift. Prices went up a little, dont like the deep fried home fries they serve with breakfast.

We went for dinner and had the pizza. It was amazing as always. The servers there are great. We had a lady that was a little hard of hearing and it took a bit to get her attention to get a drink refill but she was kind and apologized. We usually go here for the amazing weekend breakfast. Would highly recommend Tincap Restaurant to anyone.

I have a very serious and commited relationship with the coffee at Tincap. Thank goodness the servers rarely let your cup get low. Did I mention that the service is pretty amazing? Maybe Im bias because its me.

Was there for the roast turkey dinner special. Ths food was delicious and like a Thanksgiving homemade traditional meal. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes( although I prefer the rice), gravy, cranberry sauce with a soup or salad to start and Jello or rice pudding for dessert. Very generous portions Infact a single order is enough for dinner the next day. Oops I forgot the tea or coffee too!!!! Excellent price and excellent service. And just like a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, I left the restaurant feeling stuffed. Thanks so much and will be back agaIn.

If youre a Maritimer who migrated and wants traditional pizza, EAT HERE. It was a little touch of that home I didnt know I needed reminding of. Was a highlight of my day.
It was somewhat busy. I ordered a small Greek Salad. My portion was large, but the bowl was too small. I requested a plate which made cutting the lettuce much easier. I would have preferred a dressing with more zip. The bonus was that my husbands chicken fingers were so large he took 2 home for the next day and we enjoyed chicken Caesar salad wraps!!

First time coming in, placed an order for takeout. It was evident the lady working was very unhappy, even after telling her to have a good day she didnt speak a word. Ordered a pizza, was very underwhelming. You can tell the dough is made very quickly each day with a lot of yeast for a quick rise. This resulted in a flavourless dough, that was then stretched out thinner than a piece of paper. Now I cant speak for their other menu items, but the pizza is enough for me not to try the other menu items.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and I must say it was just that. Everyone was friendly and considerate, especially with me having crutches. Our server, Dana, was amazing...courteous, fun and attentive! Our meals were served quickly and were definitely fresh not to mention the generous portions. We havent been here in a very long time but Im sure we will be back soon again. Thank you so very much!!

My grandfather used to come here everyday almost! The staff was basically another family to him. He adored all of you. My sister and I now come here often & the food is so fairly priced and delicious. Absolutely love the atmosphere!

The Tincap Restaurant has been my favorite place to eat for decades. The food is always amazing, and the variety of choices, and abundant quantities are excellent value. The staff are always friendly and make me feel very welcome. The owner is very friendly, and an all round great guy. It is a true pleasure to dine at the Tincap!

Just love going to Tincap. You walk in the door and right away you are greeted at the desk. The food is always hot and lots of it. The staff is few but service is tops. They are very friendly and look after you. You have to try it out for yourself.!!!

I was in the area for lunch and saw that this restaurant was highly rated on Google. I was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken souvlaki lunch special with a side of fries, Greek salad and vegetable soup. The portions were very generous. The chicken was marinated which made it very delicious and tender. Im not a soup person, but the vegetable soup was phenomenal! The pieces of vegetables were large and plentiful. I would and will come back here again. This business is first responders friendly.

Heard so much about this restaurant and finally made it here for lunch. Daily special selection for me was a delicious, homemade veggie soup, followed by a hot turkey sandwich, stuffed to overflow and I opted for the Caesar Salad, well that alone was a meal in itself. Absolutely delicious, we will be back ! Our waitress Alison was awesome, too.

We went to Tincap Restaurant today for the first time and we loved it! The service was excellent, the prices were decent and above all the food was plentiful and very good. Everything was homemade and its been a long time since weve eating in a restaurant where the food was so good. We will definitely go back to visit. I highly recommend the Tincap Restaurant.

Love this place! Always so friendly and the service is amazing! Its Seat Yourself so you can pick where you want to sit which is rather nice! Had the Two egg breakfast, which included home fries and meat choice. Sausages were cooked perfectly and our waitress was refilling coffee regularly. Great Value for food and it was yummy! Thanks for a wonderful birthday breakfast! Its one of the Faves to go to!

Was small and quaint but I found the service wasnt great. You could tell the staff was unhappy and created a non enjoyable experience. Little rude as well. The food was alright. Went for breakfast, pancakes were delicious but my home fries were just the store bought cubes and were cold by the time I got them. When getting close to finishing the waitress kept trying to take our plates making us feel rushed. Definitely wasnt worth the price we ended up paying.
