Very cozy restaurant with a patio option. Friendly waiters, quick service, and AMAZING FOOD!! I ate the green curry and it was the most creamy, delicious curry ive ever had, and the hint of ginger was the cherry on top. Undoubtedly a family recipe. Our waiter Jackie was so friendly, and we had a lovely chat on our way out. If youre looking for quality asian cuisine in Brockville. Support a locally owned gem and go to Nakon Thai! You wont regret it! Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Brockville

Dined in on Sunday evening Aug 25th. Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. After ordering, we became a bit worried when overhearing another party complaining to their waiter that every dish was done incorrectly. The sweet and sour crispy chicken I had was armour plated. Seriously, I had trouble putting my fork into the over done chunks. They opened and poured our canned drinks into glasses before bringing them to the table and my Sapporo beer was poured into a glass with ice cubes! It was not a good experience.

We were on the way home from Quebec and decided to give it a try. We were very satisfied with the service and freshes of the food. Servers were very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We ve been here a couple of times now, always quick friendly and efficient service. Top quality food. If you re a fan of more exotic cuisine then you have to try Nakhon Thai. My wife fell in love with the mushroom lemongrass soup and I enjoyed the Tom Yum soup for a spicier kick. Main courses are all excellent, will have to go back several times to try them all. Definitely recommended, a great restaurant in Brockville and Kemptville

At first, I wasn t sure when we saw the menu, but we LOVED IT! We took a noodle dish and a fried rice : delicious, so much flavor and very unique. We loved this restaurant! Great service as well! Thank you again!

Sat down for 530pm, ordered 545pm, still no food after 7pm. Food was ok. Not bad, not great. But the wait time was crazy. The wait-staff, who did their best, was the only redeeming quality. The manager/owner should re-evaluate the whole prioritizing Uber eats // skip the dishes instead of having dine in wait over and hour and a half. We finished our food 745pm...

Pretty location but quality of food has declined, nothing actually hot and fresh and the worse rice I have ever tasted. Microwaving food sent back to the kitchen doesnt solve the problem.

Wow this place has gone downhill. Came 7 years ago on a day trip from Ottawa and loved it. Came back when visiting again and the menu was stripped down and food was done very poorly for every dish. Prices and portions are good, but the food was very disappointing.

My wife and I, along with a close friend went for lunch on Saturday. We were pleased and surprised to find there is a weekend buffet. This was our first visit and we were very impressed. The décor is simply stunning! Incredibly beautiful items, all brought over from Thailand set a magnificent stage. The buffet consisted of 2 soups, 2 appetizers, and 4 main dishes plus steamed rice, all for $19.99 per person. Everything was delicious and very fresh. Of concern was that the hot items werent really hot enough. Although the main dishes were in heated dishes, they were just warm. The Pad Thai noodles had actually clumped together. The spring rolls were on a table without any heat source at all and were just warm. The service was absolutely wonderful! Overall, we were very pleased and will return, though perhaps not for the buffet. The good news for us was that they are opening another restaurant in Morrisburg very soon! This will be a great, affordable, dining spot closer to home! Dietary restrictions: Note that many of their dishes contain shellfish. If you have allergies, make sure to mention that as the menu does not list all the ingredients.

This was one of the best restaurant meals I have had in YEARS!! By far the best restaurant in Brockville! Awesome staff, fast service, great atmosphere and the food was top drawer. Went with my son and daughter-in-law and we were all blown away with the experience. Good prices too.

Was dissatisfied with the service. I went with a close friend and we knew what we wanted to order but the waiter took about 20 minutes to even come and take the order. After he took the order he forgot what it was and came back to confirm. Shortly after we got the food I went to the washroom. When I returned my friend said she felt comfortable as the waiter came back and flirted with her. That made things awkward and we quickly took our food to go

Absolutely terrible. One young lady working the floor so service was very slow, ordered a bottle of wine, out of stock. Pad Thai was tasteless, no bean sprouts, onion, etc, etc. Sweet and sour chicken was way to sweet. Found out owner was at Kemptville location this night so the stand-in was terrible. Only good thing, the beer!! NOTE, have eaten here in the past and it was great. Maybe they are biting off more than they can chew.

The food is excellent, reasonably priced, and the service is friendly and helpful. The portions are generous. The restaurant itself is attractive and very, very clean. It s a family business, and they obviously care about what they re doing. They should be proud of their food and service, and I ll definitely be back when I m in the area again.

Dont want to say too much except the food was not up to par at all. Just the same sweet sauce in all dishes. Not just sweet, cloyingly sweet. Want a sugar rush head on here. Only dish worth mentioning that was ok-ish were the chicken wings. Over priced but edible. Not generous with the servings either for the price either. The ambience and the service were top notch. I come from a place of having eaten authentic Thai food many many times and this one was not it. So not it. Not even close. A definite skip in our world. Dietary restrictions: We are gluten free and many options were available. Kid-friendliness: Even my kid did not like the cloyingly sweet food. Had to come back with leftovers that finally got chucked.

Honestly, it was the best restaurant Ive been to in a long time. The food was excellent, easily the best Thai food Ive had. The service was great, and no obnoxious tipping expectation. The general aesthetic, ambience and presentation made me feel like I was truly enjoying a bit of Thailand.

What an amazing little restaurant serving delicious food in the heart of Brockville. Had some amazing pad thai and found an order of free spring rolls in my take away bag. Atmosphere was welcoming and they have a small water feature in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will defiantly be back in the future.

The food was amazing! The vegetables were fresh and crisp in the ginger shrimp. The sauce was light and balanced perfectly with lemongrass. The manager and server were busy however they were friendly and accommodating. The server took extra care when cleaning the table before we sat down and it was appreciated. Would come back on our next visit.

We had made a 4:30 reservation for 8 requesting a booster seat and high chair. We arrived on time. The server who was the only visible staff said she did not know about the reservation. Chairs and tables were hastily assembled with our hope. She did not get a booster seat not high chair so we got both ourselves. Water was not offered or presented, not was a drink order taken. Menus were distributed. 2 other parties entered. After 20 min of waiting we left. The server appeared to be quite young, on her own, and inexperienced. I know the food is tasty. Management is very poor. The bill would have been sizeable.

Unfortunately, we went for lunch and the buffet was bland. Its totally not the Thai food that I was expecting to eat. Interior was beautifully designed. I asked if they could customize heat during dinner hours, and they said yes, so I am willing to give it another try.

Great little gem in Brockville. Portion size was a bit small but still very tasty. When it got busier it was difficult to get the check at the end as the server seemed run off his feet. *in response to the reply, I did go up to the counter to pay but thanks for your concern.

Beautiful interior, lots of empty tables so no wait. Im really not sure how a buffet can work like that with so much food outside the safe temperature zone for food, Im not confident that I wont be sick later but its been a couple hours and things are ok so far. Everything was lukewarm, or cool which was pretty unappetizing. About half way through my meal from the buffet when I realized that the veggy stir-fry had hair in it...... Food was alright, not great. Otherwise not beyond what a competent home cook could make, which gives it that home made quality, which is charming if not underwhelming for restaurant food. I probably wont be back, and Im not sure if this place would pass a health inspectors test, especially if the inspector came in unannounced and took the temperatures of the buffet foods.

My family and I got takeout from this place some days ago. Honestly the food was super disappointing. I know what Pad Thai and Tom Yum are supposed to taste like. Starting off with the Pad Thai: it was way, way too sweet. All I could see was noodles, no bean sprouts, no onions, nothing. I wont bother uploading a picture because it looked that sad. The Tom Yum tasted... just weird. It had this weird vinegar-y taste but without the depth of flavor. And the chicken inside it tasted old. Please stop putting so much sugar to your food! We felt so bloated and disgusting after eating.

Service was fast, staff were polite. I ordered the Pad Thai, but my only complaint is that it was a little bland flavour wise - but Im comparing it to the food Ive had around Toronto so it may not be a fair comparison. If youre craving Thai food I would still recommend.

I appreciated the authenticity of the place from the servers to the decors present. The short history of the founding of the restaurant was also available on the menu board. It was such a quick, good read. Right at the start, I love how hospitable they were in accommodating our seating request. We were a large group of 8 people with 1 baby so we needed 2 tables joined together. After pulling out a potted plant decor, we were able to have the 2 tables joined next to each other. We were tired from the long day by the time we arrived at Nakkon Thai so we just went with the Combos options. We chose D3 Combo (4-6 people) and added a couple more dishes. The quantity of the combo meal may have already been sufficient for 8 people not looking to eat a lot. The food was served fast, and we did not have to wait too long. That is as far as to the positive things I have to say of the place. The food was good, but not the best. I have tasted spicier (not hot), creamier, and more flavourful Thai dishes from other Thai restaurants. The curry sauce was not as thick and strong flavoured as I have come to expect for a Thai restaurant. I also would have loved it if the Tom Kha Chicken Soup was a little more hot & sour.

Pad Thai and Green Curry chicken. We went here for date night. Ive always had great food when visiting and my fiancé said it was the best Pad Thai shes ever had. We will be going back.

The dining environment and service attitude are not bad, but the taste of the food is too average, with a high score of minus 4.5. It is still a good option for those who don t have any taste requirements. After all, it is located next to the scenic spot and has convenient transportation.

With all the positive reviews, I didnt enjoy it at all. Both dishes were bland, the chicken had zero seasoning or flavour. The app was cold and the chicken was bad. Where is the heat, chillies? Maybe Im too used to Toronto version of Thai.

Nice patio. Shared deep fried veggie rolls and deep fried shrimp as appetizers. I had the Drunken chicken dish. Medium spicy and good. Friend had the Crispy chicken and broccoli stir fry. Chicken was a little too crispy. Only beer on tap was Barking Squirrel. A good beer but was looking for something more summery.

Excellent restaurant with impeccable service. Our waiter was funny, witty and very kind. We ordered an appetizer (tasty Tempura shrimp)and were offered an additional order of perfectly fried vegetable rolls. I had the crispy lemongrass chicken and it was great. I asked if I could get some vegetables with my plate, even though it was included in the menu and my request was answered, free of additional charge. My husband had a good savory Pad Thai and the kids just loved the Fish and Chips, one of them even claiming that it was the best they ever had. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

A very small but very inviting restaurant, the decor is what first catchs your eye when you walk in. Than you smell the food! I ordered the crispy chicken and broccoli with a side of coconut rice, the food did not take to long to arrive, the server was very friendly and did a great job attending to all the tables. The food tasted just as good as it looked! Overall great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

Great Food and Service!! I was visiting for a week long work trip and ended up eating here thrice. Ordered Chicken red curry with Fried Rice, Pad Thai and one of the combo deals they have. Although it was a take out, the portion was big and flavorful! The person at the counter was also warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend visiting this place! We went in for their all you can eat lunch buffet and man it was good!! A much better experience than take-out (thai food should be eaten fresh!) The restaurant was very nice inside and super clean. Our server Aaron was excellent! I would recommend it! 5 stars for the buffet for sure! Flavours were nice but the take-out portions were smaller than expected. Id say portions are about 2/3rds of what they should be.

Interesting place with a very nice view of King Street. It keeps up with what I thought Thai food would be like after watching all those travel vlogs on YouTube in Thailand. Somewhat - nothing too exotic for a place like Brockville...which could be a good or bad thing, I guess, depending on what you are after.. The food, by the way, is excellent. I loved it. A lot of attention brought to the intricacies of flavour and presentation, which is how good cooking should be. I ordered a seafood custard soup and it tasted the way it was described on the menu. The atmosphere is relaxed but dont expect to be kept waiting; staff are very attentive, very friendly, and quite cheerful. So two thumbs up for the mood. The owners have a very charming backstory and they both seem to love what they do. The place is kept clean and roomy, yet simple, and still allows for a lot of lovely decor indicative of classic Thai culture. All in all, highly recommended. The only minor quibble I have is that things can get a bit expensive so keep track of what you order. The soups are considered a main course and they can be up to $18 or maybe more. I had to order two servings of rice to make the custard a proper meal which I ate as a curry. This restaurant might not be the best choice for a large family but if youre a couple or youre single like me, or if you only have one child with you, then consider checking it out.

Stopped in on a weekday for lunch. Little did we know this first meal in Brockville during our stay would be the best by far. Service was quick and warm. Prices great and even better food. Didnt think I had much of an appetite... Ate everything. Please try this place out. A) delicious B) they are actually open regularly (unlike most of the establishments in the downtown core) and the service was warm and friendly, we felt very welcomed.

I ordered Crispy Lemongrass Chicken. If you order General Toa s Chicken down at Island Delight don t be surprised it s the same thing. Well. Tonight s cuisine was definitely not meeting with our expectations of tasty thai cuisine. We had Tom Kha and Green Curry and both dishes looked, and were, very sad. Some classic ingredients were missing such as lemongrass, coriander and lime. And to top that up, the rice was, mmm, irony? The service and place was welcoming.

It has been at least 4 years since I was here last. Hands down this is in the top 5 Thai food places I have been to, just above the Thai food I had in Paris. If it wasnt so far from my home I would be eating here regularly. Great food, reasonable prices. My wife and I love this place.

It was my first time having Tom kha soup -- I had to get it being that it was award winning. I really enjoyed it -- the bowl was empty by the time the drunk noodle came by. The drunk noodle was delicious! I judge Thai restaurant by their drunk noodle -- its such a well known and simple dish (if a Thai restaurant cant get that right ...then forget about it). Nakhon Thai did a great job with the flavor for this delicious -- perfect level of spice and you can taste the basil. They did a great job with the noodles -- it did not break apart and was not clumpy. I really enjoyed it! The only thing I was surprised by was that the curry dishes did not come with the rice. You can order it as an additional side though. Overall I would go back again. Loved it

What drew us in after couple of years since last visit, were $10 meals shown on their website. Disappointed on finding out they havent been served as such for ages..old postings. But what we did have was wonderful: cashew chicken with vegetables served with steamed rice. Flavourful, freshly cooked and not too ecplosive with spices. Sm already looking forward to a return visit. Website has to be updated though.
