Love Blackstone! Food is always delicious, staff are great, and drinks are delicious. Dietary restrictions: I manage peanut and tree nut allergies. Staff are always kind and helpful when I ask questions about what dishes I can enjoy, and they always make sure to communicate with kitchen staff. I have eaten here safely numerous times.

Food was good. Service was good, especially for having new staff. Wouldve liked a better selection of hard/spiked teas and seltzers since I have celiac disease and cant drink beer, but other than that it was great. We all had a blast.

Tasty food, great service, I recommend their vegetable nachos with added avocado and a side of their avocado sauce.

Horrible service over priced.. service was so bad! Worst part I saw the bartender / waiter biting his nails and blowing his nose and really digging in there and not once went to wash his hands!!! Rude never once came to ask us if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. What a waste of my hubby s hard earned money. Never again

Local Sports bar feel, they cater to all sports and clients young and old. Food is great, consistent. Draft beer rotation is solid, they keep it local and interesting with their seasonal pics, but you can never go wrong with their own Pilsner. Quite frankly, the best buffalo wings and blue cheese combo in the area. Burgers are nice and juicy with fresh topping. Steph is always amazing and attentive behind the bar on the weekends, as well as the rest of the staff.

The quesadilla I had, was fantastic! Definitely coming back for that. Unfortunately- even on a not busy afternoon, I had to flag down the bartender for a drink every time. And it s not as if he was busy - he was standing at the end of the bar chatting with other customers for about 10 minutes without paying attention to the other 4 people at the bar. I had to verbally try to get his attention in order to order another drink. That s not a sign of a good bartender.

Great loaded nachos, stuffed burger and fries. Good tap selection, beer was nice and cold. 2 nice big screens in the back and down the corridor...perfect for warching the games. They need a better tea selection for the those not drinking alcohol.

Your fries are burnt and disgusting. There is no potato in it but all dried up! Don t be fake. Admit it. I even got mine returned to take home. They were worse. I was at the Blackstone in Riverdale where I live. I think they are a nice place but fix your fries! Yuk!!!

This local Riverdale bar is fine - they have a good selection of beer. The food seems entirely frozen/pre-prepped from a supplier like Sysco. Food is fine.The wait staff is adequate. While I was there last there was someone vaping in the bar, which is illegal in the city of NY. When I asked the manager about it, they walked away. I get it... Its a bar, its casual. Id like to enjoy my beer, however in an environment without people vaping, as city law intends. You are better off going down the hill to the Bronx Alehouse or to An Beal Bocht around the corner.

Typical sports bar. Rotating drafts. Lots of TVs for watching games. Food is decent. Servers have always been nice to me. Try the wings.

We needed a bite to eat late on a Friday night and it was one of the few still open that werent blasting music at an ear popping volume. Cool little spot and nice staff. The food however was just ok. Not terrible, but seemed more of an afterthought to the bar menu?

Food, drinks and ambience is awesome.

I took a star off because on the website, the happy hour fries is listed as $4 but it rung up as $6. I notified the bartender (I was sitting at the bar), and she said the system has it for $6). Everything else was fine, except for the price discrepancy.she didn t try to resolve the issue I had a glass of wine, chicken quesadilla and fries during happy hour.

Overall, great spot. Courteous bartenders and servers, great selection of drinks, and the good is okay. I recommend for a great afterwork spot or get-together with your peeps.

Horrible quinoa burger. Yeah yeah I know who orders such things to eat. But I ordered it during lent and I regretted ordering it. I just ate the Fries and some cola. The server gets 5 stars from my end as he was attentive and respectful, but that burger lol. Vegetarian options: Dont order the quinoa .

This place is a family staple. My 3 yr daughter loves this place for the sliders and solid music they play. They have a great beer selection, especially the IPAs. Food and service is consistently spectacular.

BLACKSTONE BABY!!! Ive been there few times, and each time they have come through!! The staff are hard working and accommodating. They make sure that the customers are having good time and are taken care of, and their food is delicious... Please stop by if in the area..... Kid-friendliness: Ive seen Families with their children... Bar does well to accommodate everyone.

dry-rub ribs was overcooked and not juicy, didnt come with side; i had to get chipotle mayo sauce just to make it palatable. honey fried chicken sandwich was decent but slaw shouldve been on the side, it took flavor from the chicken. bartender/server seemed like he didnt want to be there that day though he was polite. still gave 20% tip. maybe it was an off day for them.

Needed food late night. Called from my car at 12:45 a.m. kitchens was closing in 5 minutes. I placed my order for buffalo wings/ crispy. Pulled ups, parked, sat inside to enjoy my wings a cold beer. Staff was attentive. This is the spot for late night / early a.m. in Riverdale.

Great atmosphere, good service, great drinks and food!

What a find! Delicious bites - the honey garlic shrimp and fish tacos are divine - and an incredible, hard to find IPA selection. My only quibble is that they dont update their website with the latest and greatest beers because if they had, Id have gone there a lot sooner!

Our waiter was absolutely amazing! She was wearing athletic clothes and it was as if she was working out! She literally was jogging from one table to the next. We were here for several hours watching the game and she did this for every table. I was super impressed! The food was excellent bar food! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This place sucks! Beer lines don t ever get cleaned and the food is garbage. Was expecting something better being that you re on Riverdale Ave. Service was not the problem!

Such a cool little pub, and the food was amazing!!! Blackstone is proof that bar food can be FOOD! So many amazing flavors on tap and the people behind the bar were pleasant and accommodating, no hovering just making sure your good and seeing how they can make your experience better. I live in Queens but Blackstone would be the place to make me drive the hour to the Bronx..also the owner is a friend to the community and our Veterans which speaks volumes to his character.

Simply put, the food is fantastic and the staff is friendly. Went here two days in a row and was very happy both times. It is a fairly small place with limited seating, though they have extra tables outside. Just something to keep in mind if going here during a peak time.

This place is awesome! Good food, good atmosphere and most important GOOD people running it. I lost my wallet there and Steve spent WEEKS trying to track me down so he could return it. Also, their Buffalo wings are pretty much perfect!

Mediocre food, ok drinks. Nothing personal against this place, the staff is just fine. However, the food is super bland. Minimal seasoning if at all, over cooked or over fried. Wanted to give this place a second try but it really wasn t worth it.

Where do I start where do I start I did not think that tonight I would be playing fear factor. I ordered quite a few things off of the menu and honestly it was disgusting. I didn t eat half of it, neither did my wife. It was so bad that my sister who lost her taste buds to Covid-19 even thought it was gross. The ribs tasted like armpits, and I had instant mudd butt upon finishing what I could of my food. 100% I think I just ordered food from the chum bucket. Avoid at all costs and go to you local shelter instead.

Introduced to BBG by one of my favorite colleagues. We try to link once a month for lunch. On this occasion it was my 2nd time dining here and we came in for dinner. It was a raining evening and we took an empty table at the back. There were a few people at the bar but for the most part not too busy however a steady flow of deliveries going out. The menu is simple and straight forward, we were able to take advantage of a couple of the HH drinks. My favorite colleague ordered the Honey butter fried chicken sandwich, which was huge. I ordered the avocado grilled chicken wrap. Both orders came with French fries. I started with a couple a fries first when I realized the wrap contained bacon. This was an oversight on my part because I do not eat pork. Unfortunately, I had to send it back. I asked the waitress for a plate so I could continue snacking on my fries while I waited. She insisted that it wouldn t take long and that they would do the entire plate over. So I waited, my wrap returned solo. When asked about my fries I was told I would have to be charged for a new order of fries because the others were dumped. Not a major deal but admittedly, a little annoying. Overall a cool/simple local spot that I don t mind stopping in with my FC. Just A Note: Check out their HH.

The areas I gave it four stars are only because Im not a fan of merengue, todays Hip Hop, reggaeton nor any of that music (Im old school because Im older), BUT the bartenders are lovely individuals and Im a good service guy. Especially my girls Steph and Christiana. All of the bartenders and waitresses/waiters are good mannered young folks, the Oyster Fest (they have two of them ) are great and the owner Steve is a good guy. The manager is a winner too. Great bar food, good food period and a variety. Drinks are pretty decently priced (it is Riverdale, so rent is real) and there are curbside seating options. Great for weekends and Sundays are excellent for sports, as they have MANY televisions and true fans. Try it, you wont be disappointed. Vegetarian options: They have other options, but an amazing cauliflower crusted pizza and salads. Wheelchair accessibility: Its all ground level and the front door is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

Conventional neighborhood sports bar; good to mediocre food options; friendly, adequate service, decent rotation beer selection, and endless ESPN. Bonus point for an interesting mix of personalities and multilingual eavesdropping; vibe is overwhelmingly macho, borderline toxic at times. Apparently, it s an excellent day-drinking destination with serviceable outdoor seating (provided the double-parked cars and delivery trucks aren t idling right next to you.

LOVE Blackstone!! The drinks are phenomenal and well priced and the food is surprisingly delicious. Real restaurant quality food in a pub setting. The salads are fresh and unique, the fries are the best around and the burgers are perfectly seasoned but the WINGS..... ARE WHERE ITS AT. Steve and his staff have been staples in the community and great people. Support small local family owned businesses!! Best drinks bartenders and food. Rum and coke. Buffalo wings. Beer. Beer. Beer. Even without the Guinness being available that night, we were recommended a pretty good beer and it was pretty good. Go here with the boys, leave happy and full.

The wings were great! The burgers and fries; alittle flavorless One thing that was concerning is that I got charged more for the wings then it said on the menu. So be careful and check your bill. Also when I asked if onions on the burger cost extra the waiter told me no but on the bill I was charged... I told the waiter about it and he correct it.

I love this place! We are happy when we see Alex here because we share the same taste in music (rock, metal) and she puts that type of music to play. Also, the Albanian guy is so nice, all the staff is so friendly. Drinks and food are good too

The bartenders/waitstaff were super friendly and very attentive. The appetizer and the dishes my wife and I had were delicious. Compliments to the chef. We dont usually visit Riverside that often, however if we are anywhere close, we will definitely return to Blackstone Bar & Grill.

I ate there regularly before, during and after the pandemic, the food was excellent especially the wings, but now it seems like they changed the kitchen staff! I ordered some wings and they brought them to me with everything and feathers, dirty, grotesque and nothing to do with what they cooled before apart from the beers hot as tea.

Great neighborhood spot. Very friendly and welcoming regulars (which is really unusual). Service staff are expeditious and professional but definitely not stuffy. Had the blue burger with a salad and it was AWESOME!

Unfortunately, My experience was a horrible one. The bar tender (male) wasnt friendly and seemed annoyed. I cant imagine why, my wife and I are respectful individuals, but that didnt stop him from being an A-hole. We finished our food and beverages as fast as we possibly could and left. NEVER AGAIN... The one star is because I have no other choice, 0 stars from me.

This place used to be amazing Pre-pandemic and well into it. But now that things have improved, Blackstone has just gotten worse. I ve ordered from here several times a week to what turned into once a month. But after today, never again. Their food is honestly disgusting. Their quesadillas (I know, how could they screw up something so simple!) are just disgusting. They increased their prices and went cheap with their ingredients. The pulled pork is a mix of processed pork and chicken and the cheese is rubber. Not to mention the puddle of oil it laid on. See photo for proof. Never again.

Good food

I went to watch a NFL playoff game; the place was quite nice for watching the game. It wasnt too crowded, easy to get to by bus, had a good bar with many TVs, and cozy. The Stuffed Burger was REALLY good, and the Rum Punch was tasty and plentiful. Staff was nice, bathrooms clean; I had a good time.

Great local place for excellent pub fare and craft beer on tap. They have some imaginative food offerings that are delicious, but their wings and burgers are what you will enjoy the most. Wash down the food with a great pint of craft beer that are continuously rotated in an out during the year.
