dim sum and chinese restaurant
Great food, place and prices for dim sum 🥟 came twice already ..except bathroom needs major renovations…overall great 😊
What a Lovely Place! We absolutely love visiting this dim sum restaurant. Every dish is consistently fresh and flavorful. While the prices are a bit higher than other places offering a similar menu, we don’t mind because the service here is significantly better than elsewhere. As a Caucasian couple, it can sometimes feel a bit awkward asking about the ingredients of certain dishes we’re unfamiliar with, but the staff is always incredibly kind and takes the time to show us each dish and explain what it is. The service here is hands down the best we’ve experienced at a dim sum restaurant. The atmosphere is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. It’s truly a must-visit on the South Shore. I highly recommend this spot for lunch if you’re looking for a delicious and unique dining experience!
First time we tried to visit, we arrived with the entire restaurant fully booked for a private event. We tried to call ahead but lim’s was busy… Second we visited it was around 11.30am on Sunday. The wait was 45mins!!!!!! Food was 💯 legit. Everything we ordered were authentic . Our favorite was fried shrimp wanton and crispy taro. Push carts service. Some items were lukewarm instead of hot. The century egg porridge was delicious. As well as the fried noodles were also very tasty. I misunderstood the way the bill was lay out. Unlike in the states where you put the dollar amount you want to tip, in Canada you tip a percentage of the total bill. I wished I wasn’t mixed up. The service group was very good. Nice ambience and lighting.
Excellent service! Our waiter was very friendly! And the food was super delicious!! We appreciated the spacious dining area too!
One of the place still have the traditional way with all the ladies pushing the carts around so you can choice what you like. In the weekend the wait line could happen. Price increased more however the portion still good. We enjoyed dim sum here and always come back.
First time at this restaurant. We went for my girlfriends nephews birthday and it was everything I expected for authentic Chinese food. The plates were amazing and tasted just the way they should and the place was packed but the service was amazing and quick especially our waiter Archie he made sure we were well taken care of. We enjoyed every dish and the portions do not disappoint. We will definitely be returning and I recommend this place to everyone. Mg pictures do not do Justice because we had already started eating and I took the pictures after starting eating we were midway through our meal so we are missing the soups and starters
Still the Best looking Chinese dim sum resto in mtl. I haven't been here in a while and I just went march 4th and the apparent changes to management does show. Everything is running smoother and the service has improved alot. I went for dim sum and the service is 10x better than before. The food is alot better as well as variety also increased and not just the boring old dim sum food. My favorite is the bolo bun with butter. Their attempt is great and needs a bit of improvement such as having the bun hot is a must for this dish to be delish. If you haven't been to Kam Fung in a while like me, def recommend you to go ans give it a try. they are improving alot since the sale to new management.
Unbelievable! Just 2 dishes of take out and what I got home are some hidden fortune cookies inside the bag, so warm hearted! Good taste and big size👍👍👍. Dinner there after a year, first time for me to dine there, dishes are big and delicious 😋, but take away the remaining dishes without a bag the waiter is not concerning enough.
Got here right at open at 10am. First food cart didn t roll out of the kitchen till 10:30. It s now 11:15 and half the traditional dishes one would expect to be on offer have not surfaced on any cart. In the first hour here there have been no green vegetables, no turnip cake, no taro dumpling, no steamed bbq pork buns, no crab of any kind. Quite the let down. In all the cities I have had Dimsum the meal is a rapid attack of food and it doesn t need to be a 2 hour dining experience. I requested the items above and the server told would come later. How long must a person be here to have the full dim sum experience? The plus side here is that the food was wonderful.
Love the dimsum!
Served hot with delicious presentation
A decent dim sum experience in Brossard. I have been to a lot of dimsum places in Toronto/Markham, this is my first one in Quebec. I think the food was decent at best, with some misses being the xiaolongbao (there was no soup, its just like a meatball wrapped with dumpling skin), the pork bun (the bottom was so soggy), and the radish cake (super gelatinous and bland). Other things we ordered were dimsum staples which were mediocre - nothing really stood out. I think this place is quite unique with the carts (much more places do paper menus instead) and how often they circulate, which made ordering easy. However, we had barely gotten to our table and started removing our coats when 3 different carts swarmed us and asked for orders immediately - at least give us some time to sit down and pour tea jeez! Overall I think its an ok choice for affordable dimsum in the greater Montreal area - Ive had better, but nothing was super offensive.
Dim sum the best
For someone who doesnt speak the staffs language, I enjoyed brunching at this place and exploring. Another culture.
I love this restaurant. Really good dim sum.
Good amazing
I am totally disappointed, I called because I wanted to order food for my family and me like we do every weekend where we leave a very good tip every time. The lady on the phone, totally frustrated and disrespectful, answers me, I dont even have time to say my sentence, she starts shouting at me, saying YOU CALL AT 3 P.M. WE OPEN AT 4 P.M. DONT CALL DURING CLOSING HOURS GO EAT SOMETHING LEAVE ELSE BYE and hang up the line on me. Totally shocked knowing that I called once she was on speaker my family and I were so disappointed because we loved the food so much. Totally disappointed and in shock..
Lunch with dumpling carts passing around the tables! Wow wonderful experience.
Now I know why I stopped going 5 yrs ago, ordered shrimp fried rice, they have 2 styles, Hong Kong and Canadian style. Asked 4 Canadian with soy sause plus had 2 wait 4 ever, over 1/2 hr or more and when I got home guess what was Hong Kong style, husband didnt even want it, was $20.00 plus tax.. Will die before I ever go again. Was busy so no time 2 cook..and 5 yrs ago, ordered same thing the soy sauce wasnt even mixed well, looked like zebra rice.. good luck people... Dietary restrictions: Wouldnt even recommend this place!!!
Great Chinese food and good customer service... Parking: Free parking Food : 5/5 |
The ladies and food were great, but near the end a man comes to see us and makes us pay, once I tip he harasses me that I didn t tip enough and guilt trips to add 2$ with talking about his kids and family. Tip is not mandatory, don t harass your clients about it! We had a great time but that man ruined our afternoon! We won t be coming back.
Excellent food. Friendly for all. Sometimes its difficult to be understood due to language barrier. Food is always fresh and hot when it comes to the table. Great for lunch or dinner. 100% recommended
Receiving my starter after the main course is not acceptable for a restaurant.
The best Dimsum spot Attentive service, lots of variety and delicious food really bright and airy inside too!
Very disappointed with my salt and pepper shrimp. Its not written that they will be breaded. Imperial roll oozing with fat. Bland and overcooked vegetables.
Great dimsum. Very classic crowded dimsum feel on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Probably the only decent classic dimsum around Montreal that I know of.
The worst restaurant in Montreal. They took wrong order, missing items and we waited for 40 minutes only one dish came. The service is bad and I will not recommend anyone to go there ever. Absolutely a waste of time and money. The worst restaurant in Montreal. They took a wrong order, missing items and we waited 40 minutes, only one dish arrived. Good steamed Dim Sum. But to pay be careful the waiter is saving with more than $20 tip even though he himself didnt serve us anything.
Havent been back since COVID. I recently went back to Kam Fung for Dim Sum and prefer it over Imperial in Pointe Claire. The food tastes fresher, slightly cheaper, with more varieties. The food is not as hot as Imperial but the freshness and portion compensate. I went on 01Jul2024 and the wait was about 15 min. Brossard is far for us but its fine occasionally. For Dim Sum, why are the women who handle the waiting list always rude and arrogant? But this seems to be the same every else. For this reason alone, I wont be coming often to this place.
Good food and good price
The toilets are dirty and smell very strong of urine and feces. An unordered dish was served and charged even if we didnt want it. The dumpling dough is rubbery, the spring rolls are not very good. The food arrives in bags as if they werent made there, very strange. General tao chicken was good
The food is superb, nothing to say about it. However, the service leaves something to be desired, you have to constantly wave to them in order to attract their attention and what can we say about the atmosphere... typically that of a Chinese restaurant/buffet.
We always go there for dim sum and dinner. They offer competitive price with good quality of food. Staff are nice. We are always welcomed. Kid-friendliness: You can get high chairs.
The quality of the food is good, but inconsistent. The preserved egg porridge I ordered once seemed to have forgotten to add salt. It was bland and tasteless. Sometimes the dishes served were completely cold. The service of the men and women who took seats and served food was satisfactory, but the service attitude of the lady at the cashier at the counter was not good.
The food is really excellent. The service is usually fast but the servers are not very cheerful.
2023-09-01: The biggest chinese reception restaurant in South Shore (Brossard). But, food is no longer as good as it used to be. 2024-05-29: a little bit of improvement, but I cant find the chinese wok taste here! The big chef has retired and the new one is still learning.
Our waiter was a funny gentleman, great at his job! Employees were vacuuming when customers were already seated and being served, that was a little awkward. Parking: Parking for many stores and restaurants
Who ever put those reviews guess never try real Chinese cuisine, food was like mall food court chines fast food , service is really unacceptable .
La Maison Kam Fung - A delightful Dim Sum Family experience!
Chinese Restaurant. Lots of people on Sunday. Parking: A lot
Rude waiters, never smile and they never look at you in the eye. Decor is outdated, food is average compared to competition.
I love this restaurant, it s always good!
Bad service , never come back
I dont recommend, they gave me pork pretending its squid, the waiters are too busy to serve and answer everyone, go elsewhere
I love this place, though it s true that it s a bit chaotic and noisy. But still fun!! I love the food.
1st time oh wow to do it again!!!
The waiters have a hard time explaining the menu.
I really loved this place the food was amazing I got to try a lot of different things, the portions were good, and the service was fast nothing else to say it s a good restaurant that I highly recommend when you want to try something different definitely!
Honestly it was the best Chinese food I ve had in a long time, everything was very tasty, flavourful and nice size portions
Very unique cultural concept, good food and kind staff.
Don t go! The service is extremely bad. They are only nice to people who have strong British or American accents Very misogyny and racism Food : 1/5 |
For a successful gourmet group meal and a wide variety of menus, this restaurant is highly recommended, for lunch and dinner. Efficient, courteous service and reasonable prices. A little noisy when the room is full but still good!
Good quality of food. However there is a lot of room for improvement in the service. Waiters are slow to respond. Had to ask several waiters for the same thing before getting what we wanted. Long waiting time before food is ready - 30mn +. Dishes came out bit by bit - instead of all together. Also it happened that one order was not as requested so we had to have it sent back to the kitchen. Had to wait another 30mn to get the right order!!
Nice place. We went for dimsum. It is a very big place and seems to be popular with the local Chinese. Food was good. Cannot speak to cost since we were a guest.
Super good food! Very reasonable price and possibility of bringing back what is left.
Get there early!!! Thats how popular this restaurant is!! We were 4 and it cost us 20$ each... didnt even have room for dessert!! Believe me, the dessert cart was tempting...we will definitely go back!!!
Good service, fresh and hot dishes. I recommend
Its not the first time weve been there but really disappointed with this restaurant since they changed ownership. Except that it is large and still plenty of parking. The food is not good, so much so that my heart hurts, not authentic, the dishes are small, not much taste, the service is extremely slow, the people are not great and on top of that the price is expensive! I dont understand why so many people go there. So much better place than this restaurant than this one. I strongly advise against this restaurant.
We had a lovely meal here with our family whilst staying in Brossard. The environment was relaxed, and food was tasty and the portions were very generous. Ben was our waiter and he was excellent, very pleasant and helpful.
Asked for 3 people while the other 2 people were at the store next door. The lady gave me a number. Didnt bother to tell me all party has to be present in order to be seated. Rude and waste of time.
really bad customer service over the phone. I take the time to order 7 dishes over the phone. When it came to ask how much it was all I got in return was I dont know, I dont have the time for that. Who says that after ordering 7 dishes??? Such a disgrace.
Typical Dim Sum restaurant with lots of options. Food was good and served hot.
Good place.
Honestly the food is always excellent there, at the end they even give out fortune cookies which are very good. The portions are always huge. There were 4 of us and it cost around $20 each and we all ate our fill, we even had several leftovers. Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant
Interesting experience. Decent Dim Sum. Unilingual English service. Very disappointing. I dont think Ill go back there unfortunately.
Is so unsanitary
Fathers Day dim sum was great!
The price is right
It closes 1 hour BEFORE the time it says on Google. So dont show up after 8:01, he refuses to serve you. Or they make up excuses like. Washed the carpets. JUST CHANGE YOUR HOURS if you dont want to work after 8pm!!!!
Delicious food ALL THE TIME!! And the prices are perfect. Amazing for dim sum and for lunch or dinner
Update 2024. Service very slow dishes get served 30 minutes apart. I made a mention of it to the waiter and how I haven t been here in a year and I go to Imperial restaurant beside. Waiter said impossible and didn t care at all as I was giving him tips to stop hemorrhaging customers. We left mid-meal because the service was too slow and nonchalant and asked to pay for the dishes that we did eat (only 2 dishes arrived after a whole hour). Never again .Kam Fung lost my business and will not come back here. Imperial is a much better option.
Horrible experience!!!!! Food took an hour to come and arrived cold. 3 out of 10 persons among our party had diarrhea and end up vomiting for the entire weekend. Never again.
In the top 5 places to have dim sum in Montreal
I looked at the photos and it appealed to me. It seemed like a real Chinese restaurant worthy of the name. I had also seen the show Curieux Bégin . In short, I couldnt wait. What a disappointment. I want to try food Ive never had because I want to eat REAL, authentic food. I want to try mushroom soup and I was advised against it. Too long, I am told; well, I want to try a Yu Djian style pork dish (not sure of the name)....Im told that according to her its so-so.....in short, I end up with a sour soup and spicy and another pork dish with XO sauce....I also have spicy garlic eggplant. Next to us, a large table of Chinese people are eating. They are served in beautiful large serving dishes. It looks good! Our dishes arrived, my wife had Cantonese lobster, and all these dishes were in black plastic dishes....soup included! Unbelievable! An hour wait in total and everywhere. My pork was actually served with broccoli in such large pieces that you had to cut it into several smaller pieces before eating it; the eggplants were good but that was all he had; no other vegetables (onions, carrots, etc.) The lobster was OK but nothing more. The soup was good but served in a transparent plastic dish. In short, the whole thing gave me the impression that we had come for a take-out, and that they were in a hurry to see us leave. Meanwhile, our friends at the main table were served properly. How can you be so poorly served? I had the impression that we were the lackeys of the big table and that it was therefore normal that we could not eat in good conditions. Shame and humiliation. Never again. I strongly advise against this restaurant. They serve musketeers food there, treating you like their lackeys. They wont see me there anymore! ENGLISH VERSION... Portions are huge. Prices are very reasonable
Food came at different times but otherwise the portions are huge for a good price and the taste of the food is always amazing. Good for a group of people to share tasty chinese food.
we cannot speak to you in French
I ordered takeout over the phone and ordered three portions. When I ate, I found that no cutlery was provided. Food portions are large and taste is average. The cashiers attitude was very bad. She gave me the receipt directly on the table and didnt say hello or thank you the whole time. Ask you who you are and how much it costs. After collecting the money, I just ask you to go there and get it, which is quite disgusting.
I loved it. All your heart co.tent good chinese food authentic. The eggplant dish is very good. Moderate pricing.
Best place for dimsum on the south shore of Montreal
What a funny restaurant at dinner time, its truly an experience to be had. The waiters come by with carts and we choose dishes that vary between $5 and $12, which comes to around $25 per person. Dont go there alone, in my opinion since you will only taste 2 or 3 things. Kid-friendliness: Great experience for them if they are open to trying things they dont know.
food is still good quantity got smaller and 50% price increase on our favorite menu Wait for all food getting longer for the past 3 time we finish and a meal wasnt ready yet!
Every time I call them and try to talk to them about Chinese broccoli, they hang up on me. I feel bored, but this is the crisis of life
April 2024: - The quality/taste of the dishes that I used to order have been slightly different and disappointing for several months (Thai chicken with less tasty curry sauce and thicker sauce). The dishes are less tasty than they were before. However, it is still good. - Bathroom hygiene to review. + I would like to point out that I was finally served in French by a gentleman in April 2024, which had never happened in previous years. The effort was made and I underline it. + The welcome at the restaurant is slightly more pleasant than before. + Quantity/price ratio still suitable, you will not finish your entire dish. + Menus redone (with price increase) and above all cleaner! It appears that a change of administration has taken place. * Price per person of approximately $35 for a starter and half of 2 main courses. You will get $90 (tax inc) for 2 (without extra alcohol). 2022: Good quality/price and quantity/price ratio, An improvement must take place with the French-speaking world and the cleanliness of menus, placemats and toilets. Price: $75 for two. Dietary restrictions: Peanut in some dishes. Parking: Enough space and free.
Warm atmosphere and good food.
Very good food and excellent price. Good dim sum in the morning and the night menu is even better! Free parking is always welcome, though the large parking lot does get full quickly.
Good food and service. Only issue is that the decor is the same as when I was there before covid
They are so RUDE! My mom just tried to call to place an order. And this woman rudely says to my mom they are closed and hangs up! This is a Saturday they are not closed she just didn t want to take the time to understand what my 78 year old mom wanted to order. This is how you treat your clients. They need to learn how to treat customers with respect. I do not recommend this place! They do not deserve your business. 0 STARS!
Half of the food was okay, the rest was garbage... took a while to get all of it. Absolutely drowned in MSG. They try to make the beef and broccoli look good by stacking all of the beef on top, and the rest being oily vegetables. Everything was so soggy. The General Tao, orange chicken, spring rolls and fried rice were good. First, we had to call 6 times to reserve in advance. 6 TIMES. The lady kept hanging up everytime. Afterwards, we were seated & waited 45 minutes to be served. We had to ASK when our waiter would take our order. Pretty sure another group that arrived after us got quicker service. Feels a bit discriminatory. Atmosphere was okayish. The huge chandelier was cool, along with the tapestries. Lots of people though All in all, if cheap is what you want, cheap is what youll get. I cant talk about the authenticity much as l am nor well versed in the culinary arts in China, but if this place is authentic, l dont think Ill ever eat Chinese food again. This place doesnt respect its customers at all, hanging up on you on Saturdays & taking hours to take your order. What the hell?
Good food, good wine, best dimsum in montreal
Divine Orange Chicken and General Tao. Good portions and great service.
There is always no cleanliness, no good services, and very noisy at the Chinese restaurant.
It was a very good restaurant, very clean, nothing to say and the presentation of the dishes was excellent.
The flavor of the food was superb!
An experience to forget!! Arrived at 7 p.m. left at 8:25 p.m. without having eaten! Ashamed. !!! We arrived first, we waited 1 hour 20 minutes!!!! To see everyone who arrived after serving us and nothing at our table! We reported it to the only waiter who spoke a little French and he didnt care... that even made her laugh! We are French maybe that was the problem I dont know... ruined birthday evening thank you very much I will never forget this experience and I can assure you never again to top it off we drank jasmine tea which is given at the start of the meal, all 3 of us got sick!! Run away !!!!!
waiting simulator
Prices went up but food is still great . Best dim sum around
A first for me and my family. The very typical Chinese menu, not like Quebec buffets. Very good and fresh. For table service, trolleys fit between the tables. Kind and smiling staff speak little French but manage to make us understand what we are going to eat. For the $$$ price but flawless service. Hat!! THANKS. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
The best place for Cantonese without going to Montreal.
Very good quality ratio
This restaurant is amazing, all food is completely delicious, when we go to brossard , this restaurant is a mandatory stop to eat
Went for a relatives banquet dinner. Portions are huge, proportions of seafood in each dish was ample, flavours were perfectly seasoned (though e-noodles couldve used more salt). Always reliable for these types of dinners, though I havent been there for dimsum in a long time, as I dont live on the shore.
Very very good beef and good service and clean restaurant
Very nice room for a private event. Average service. It seems like we always had the same carts coming to see us. We had the impression that Asians were better served than others. A couple 2 tables away from us were Asian and the carts stopped at their table unlike us. They had a greater variety of foods on their table. The cart drivers only speak French, more English and some not at all, so you have to communicate by signs and you dont end up with what you want. We want a piece and they put 3 because there are 3 of us. No, there is only 1 who wants it. But wasted effort. Food not bad, but we just had some fried food, some steamed dumplings and some noodles. No vegetables. We ended up getting a soup cart at the end after 1 hour in the restaurant, but we were full. We can bring back our leftovers. Fair price.
I completely understand why this store has less than four stars. Its completely understandable. Maybe because its a branch, the staff at Nanan dont care about the guests feelings at all. Their service is to laugh at guests in front of them, to make them wait and ignore them, and to be extremely indifferent to you because you are not what they call a regular customer. A very good business model, as long as regular customers do not want new customers, this is one of the major reasons for the decline of business. The service was slow, and there were only two customers. The food was average. Maybe because there are not many Chinese food options in Montreal, it should be considered above average. Personally, I feel that the poor service attitude of Chinese restaurants has become everyones perception, but the disrespect for guests really makes me feel that it is too much. I think improvement is impossible, after all, so many bad reviews have not allowed them to improve. I hope they can always work in this store in the future, otherwise I don t know where they will be hired.
Tasty. Expensive. But tasty.
3 piece order of dim sum took 1 effing hour to cook! You are a waste of business time! NEVER LEAVE TIP! Service
The food was absolutely delicious . The pictures do not do this justice! We always have such an amazing time. We travel from Ontario to Quebec, just for dim sum, as it is the best!
The food was excellent and the quantity of food was such that we couldnt eat it all, but unfortunately due to lack of language skills they couldnt serve well and didnt understand the exact order of the food.
Dim sum is great
Great service, great foods, except waiting at the cash.... approximately 10 mins
If you re looking for dim sum, look no further, this is THE place to be! Har gows had HUGE shrimps and the fried shrimps were super crispy! They had a special pineapple bun with bbq pork stuffing mm MMM! Delicious food, impeccable service, great atmosphere with lots of open space, average prices. One of the few places that still serve OG dim sum style with the aunties rolling the carts around calling out what they re selling a MUST TRY!
No one speaks French in this restaurant. Unable to communicate with the service. No effort is made in this regard. We cannot explain the menu, the process, how to order etc. The noise is infernal, which doesnt help. If one day after 3 generations it seems, they manage to speak French I will perhaps return there in the meantime I will no longer be insulted by this contemptuous service Parking: Tight spaces
Good dim sum Lots of families Efficient service, authentic Food : 5/5
Their duck is worth the drive!
A style where many people can enjoy their meals together on one floor, similar to a large banquet hall. The food is delicious and plentiful. On the other hand, the lack of a small menu may be a drawback. I wanted to try more things like mapo tofu, but the portions were too large so I gave up.
Recently, the restaurants are not as good as before. The fried shrimp crackers of Peking Duck are watery and have no interesting texture. The beef tenderloin is chewy and chewy, and the noodles are tasteless... In short, it is not worth trying. The price is more expensive than other restaurants. It is better to go to other restaurants to taste delicious food. Disappointed, very disappointed!
Very nice foods and fast service
I went to this restaurant really disappointed you cant order what you want to eat he walks around with a cart with food and I wanted to order a plate of rice he mentioned to me that he didnt have any rice I asked 3 times and I managed to get it with poverty and the bill very very Salt Costs a lot to leave this restaurant still hungry I dont recommend it to anyone Really disappointed Wouch he gives you what they want no soup woonton at your own risk
The quality that you expect from a large size Chinese restaurant. Servers are not rude but they are not there to small talk and make you feel welcome, unless you know them. All business. Dinning area is generic and typical of Chinese banquet style restaurant. Washrooms are also your typical stinky bathrooms. I wished that the quality of the food was more consistent though. Sometimes good, sometimes really not that great. That is when I would prefer a hot bowl of ph at the local ph ...yet we return to Kam Fung because it has been around for so long. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegeterian options. If you see something with meat but want it vegetarian, ask to remove meat or substitute with tofu. Parking: Plenty of parking but it fills up quickly during meal time. Hard to find at that time. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but the mens bathrooms can be gross. Wheelchair accessibility: Access ramp from parking lot to restaurant entrance but sometimes, idiots park there -_-
This is our third visit to this establishment. The flavor of the food seems to be inconsistent. Unfortunately, the aigre douce soup was quite unpleasant, resulting in our decision to send it back. Additionally, the general thai chicken was dry and hard. Furthermore, the vegetable chowmein lacked freshness. Will not come here again. Lastly, very slow service.
Super good food, excellent price and the service is 5 stars. Huge selection, I loved it.
Very good service. Quality meal.
The food is amazing, but I suggest that you order it as take out. If you eat in the restaurant they bring out one dish at a time and it takes so long. Our whole meal from start to finish took about 3 hours but they have the best wonton soup and the food is tasty
The best Chinese food around
Best Cantonese ever Best dim sum Freshest food ever Food : 5/5
A real Buffet with real Asian food
Cheap in groups and serve decent quality authentic Asian cuisine. The room is exquisite, but the TV broadcast Chinese ad, and theres no music. When we arrived, there was even some power tool going strong and loud behind curtains, not very welcoming.
The hours are wrong...went there on TR at 10pm and they were closed
Very good dim sums etc...
$138 for 2 adults 1 child. And we cook everything ourselves. I still look stupid at the cost. I planned a budget of around $70 to $80 because initially we were going to the continental buffet across the street. To our great surprise there was a long queue. So obviously we say were going to go opposite theres another buffet. In terms of selection, I didnt have much choice.. I found it a cool place to discover but at the price it costs. At $29 per person. Plus 1 child. And barely a small bottle of Sake. I still cant believe the price of the invoice. Ok atmosphere. The service was good. But the buffet concept. At $138 2 adults 1 child. These are a grocery store I flobbed with in the space of an hour and a half. Value for money. Well talk about it again.
Food was ok nothing suprise
Cold welcome, you have to run after a waiter to order wine or meals. The General Tao, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Mixed Vegetables were really delicious. At the service level, there is no service... the dishes were brought with a long delay between each, so it was obviously cold and we could not enjoy the dishes all together, moreover, the empty plates were not picked up and I had to ask the lady to take because there was no more room on the table and she removed them by force and you could see that it annoyed her. The portions are different from one time to the next but everything is really good, too bad its not hot. No atmosphere, big lighting, super noisy, the waiters redo the tables by throwing the plates on the tables, while someone else vacuums... disappointing to be served such good dishes in such chaos.
Nice place love It
Worst customer service ever experienced in my life, they are well-known as arrogant and rude towards customers, ten years ago my friend and I went for dinner, the waiter looked super impatient and cold, when we were ordering, my friend just asked with smiles: do you have something like steamed scallops with vermicelli the waiter just shouted back: we are not seafood restaurant my friend was freaked out and ran away, never back again, today I made a mistake and went there for dinner by accident, everything went very smooth, until I paid my bill and tips and ready to leave with my invoice, the waiter turned his back after I payed with my card, took the invoice from the machine and threw it over his shoulder, always with his back towards me until I left. No thanks no good bye. Keep on guys I am sure no one can take the throne of the rudest waiter from you. Never back again
WoW it s so delicious, fresh I love this restaurant
Very good thank you Family fun guaranteed We are semi-large people, we will come back!
The food is delicious but the place is very loud and the staff is more stoïc than westerners are used to. They dont really smile but they still do their job fine. You may have to get them to repeat themselves here and there because of the noise around. Its a very typical (true) chinese place based on my experience.
I love this place. I love the food. Take out possible. Food : 5/5
The service is extremely slow, the staff is extremely rude, and the food is extremely poor --- a place where only idiots + idiots would go.
Excellent restaurant, the food and the concept are perfect. The prices and service are impeccable! Thank you so much!
Tonight, my husband and I had dinner here. We come here quite often and always enjoy the food. The dishes are delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to customers. We highly recommend this place.
You get what you pay for
I like.
The place is fine for what it is, with the lone exception that the price is great. I rate the place 3 stars because it is ordinary in everything. The atmosphere is like dining in a warehouse. The waiters are constantly enquiring about what we want, making me feel rushed and like a number. That s the concept of a dim sum, sure, but still food was OK but for having eaten a good bit of Chinese food all over the world, and it s not great. The one dish I liked was The hot and sour soup.
