Restaurant Bohemia in Brossard

Very picturesque little neighborhood restaurant. Comforting home cooking of Czechoslovak origin. I have come to the Bohemia restaurant several times, both to sit down and take out, and I have never been disappointed! Today the chef-owner served me cream-braised beef with marinated beets and red cabbage marinated. An excellent vegetable soup and a slice of raspberry tart accompanied the main meal. Everything was excellent and I enjoyed it! Real comfort food the way we like it! Only small downside: I would have liked more braised beef in cream and less fried potatoes! On subsequent visits I ordered the filet of sole (which is actually sole meunière) which I really enjoyed, and for dessert, the apple strudel which literally melts in your mouth! The decoration is overloaded with artifacts of all kinds and gives this small restaurant an undeniable charm. Parking: You can park your car in the restaurant parking lot

Excellent Czech cuisine that seems to be frozen in time. Comforting, homemade, slow-cooked cuisine. Typical vintage decor and it is obvious that everything is homemade according to the rules of the art. The only problem is that they are never open in the evening. I highly recommend it

Good choices of freshly prepared homemade lunches, everything was delicious. Small restaurant with a typical wooden ambiance and decor that makes the meal relaxing. In addition, they have a beautiful table dhôte for a complete dinner for all tastes. Great discovery that will be worth repeating!

Cozy little spot with really great, authentic eastern-European food. A couple at the table next to us had breakfast then stayed long enough to have lunch, too because it was that yummy. The owner/chef was very kind and patient with my very dusty French, even though it was clear he d have completely understood my English. We will def be back here. Real gem of a find.

I love that in Brossard, there are very diverse and authentic culinary offerings. This little restaurant is a gem, a lovely and cozy interior that is family owned and makes you feel like youre truly in Czechia. The table dhôte was great, decent price and freshly made, it was really good. This is a must-try experience.

Amazing place. The service is amazing, the staffs are really friendly and you can have homemade cooking! I came here twice and I was never disappointed! Though it can take time since only 2 staffs, including the cook, are available to serve. Regardless, I find it worth it as they take good care to make sure they serve the best meal that you can get!

Staying in Brossard for the Grand Prix and went here to eat afterward. Absolutely fantastic place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Hidden gem on the south shore, a friendly family run restaurant that offers authentic food. Its always a pleasure eating here.

The very kind lady, who speaks French and English, introduced us to the menu. Our appetizer was cabbage soup with sliced baguettes, which was very fragrant. For the main course, you can choose the staple food rice or potatoes. The pork potatoes and chicken potatoes I ordered were both delicious. My brother said they tasted like Chinese food. Then there are desserts, which are very light and fragrant, not overly sweet like typical Western desserts. Then there are drinks. I asked for flower and fruit tea, and I was given tea bags and hot water, so I could make it myself. The Treasure Restaurant in the suburbs was very deserted when I arrived around 1:30, with only two tables occupied, but the food was very good. I also saw someone coming over and ordering flower and fruit tea and sitting for a while. The clean environment is also a good choice for afternoon tea. It closes at 3pm. Bon restaurant!

First time trying and won t be last. Definitely a hidden gem. Authentic Czech food and most dishes are homemade. I ordered the sausage bohemian and my wife tried the beef gravy sauce. Both dishes were spot on and well balanced. The quantity is fair. You will not be over bloated but very full. Solid 9/10. After inflation and taxes, it comes slightly cheaper than most brunch places in Montreal. For example; eggs Benedict with topping and drinks is around 23-29$ (some restaurants do not provide fruits and salads anymore) nowadays whereas Bohemia full meal course is only $22.95. Would definitely recommend. The only con is their opening hours.

We went for the first time today. We started with the soup which was delicious. We each selected a different meal. The quality of the food was excellent. The presentation was outstanding. Ended the meal with the coffee and dessert that was just perfect. The server and chef were very personable. We will definitely be going back.

Written in Korean. Perfect restaurant. I think its the best restaurant Ive been to in Montreal, and its a really great restaurant for the price. The course included warm soup, main dish, dessert, and tea, all for $25, which I thought was really cheap. The food is neat and simple, and only really good ingredients are used. It doesnt use much seasoning, so its quite healthy and has a great taste. In addition, even the serving and small picture frames were perfect to match the restaurant atmosphere. It was a restaurant where you could feel the small Czech Republic. It was cheap but classy, and there was nothing lacking to satisfy my taste buds. This is a place that deserves a Michelin rating. I plan to visit next time to try other menus. This is a restaurant that only I know about and want to go to.

Ive been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. It has been one of my Google suggestions for several years. So we finally decided to go there for lunch. The place is small but charming. The decoration is very far from the refined restaurant chains and its perfect like that. We were well received and the food was good. We will definitely return there to try the more traditional Czech dishes which look delicious.

I went there because of the Google reviews, I expected much better. The setting is charming, the atmosphere too but the service is not great and the food is ordinary. I dont understand the 4.8 stars.

What a surprise find. A typical Czech restaurant run out of a couples home in the middle of Brossard. It is a super cute restaurant and the food is good and authentic. Definitely a must visit if you are in Brossard.

Just had lunch there, we picked the set menu that comes with the soup and dessert. Everything was yummy and owner very was very kind. The only downside is the smell, it s very smoky out there and I don t think the ventilation works, so be ready to wash your clothes after.

Excellent little gem tucked away in a residential neighbourhood in Brossard, though easy access from Taschereau. Open for breakfast and lunch only, except for Saturday dinner with reservations a must. Can seat about 25-30 people max. Authentic Czech food, so either it takes you home or you explore a new experience. We had the lunch menu: a wonderful soup, great flavours and portion. The main course was very good, though could have eaten more, beautiful selection and quality of the garnishing: a variety of pickled cabbages, beets, etc., the knedliky (knödel) was excellent quality. The desert was a fantastic raspberry cake, simple, but delicious and well balanced on fruit and cake (dough was similar to a pie/sablé with fresh raspberries baked into it). Good quality coffee.

Ambiance was lovely, service was great, food was a little disappointing. Sví ková was tasty, and the bread dumplings perfect. Bohemian Sausage was basically a very pink hot dog (and not that tasty). Apple strudel was ok, tho pastry could have been flakier and the chocolate drizzle distracted us from the apples. Plum dumplings were the biggest disappointment though... the dough was ok but they were served with a sprinkle of cinnamon instead of the expected tvaroh (farmers cheese), extra butter, and powdered sugar. Those are three absolute musts. Without them the dish feels dry and a little bitter. It was a nice experience overall but Im not in a hurry to go back.

You go there for the experience and the decoration. Its a small place and its really lost in the residential street but I loved it. I went for the brunch and it was not expansive. For the brunch selection, its the normal choice. I need to go there during the supper and try the food over there.

Small, cozy restaurant thats beautifully decorated on the inside with lots of memories from the old country. The food has always been tasty, and naturally authentic to the Czech kitchen. They cook well here and every time we visit, we feel like we ate in the Czech Republic.
