100 Av. de l'Equinoxe, Brossard, QC J4Z 0K8, Canada
Outpost of a small chain of neighbourhood brasseries serving comfort food & cocktails.
Great food, great service. Place looks great. Just missing a DJ at night for my taste but strongly recommend.
The restaurant is beautiful, nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and fresh, good portions. The salmon tartar was great. The service however was incredibly slow. We were there for 3 hours, for just a drink, a main course and a dessert (table for 2). When we were done with everything, we had to wait 30-45 min to be offered the bill. The restaurant was almost empty at that point, so it's not like it was too busy, which would have been more understandable.
A brand new place at quartier Dix30. The decorations were great. Food and cocktails weren't bad at all. The service was good.. highly recommend for date night or friends or family. The tuna tartare that I ordered was very delicious.
Nice atmosphere. Good service. Terribly bland overpriced food. It took an hour to prepare 2 ceasar salads. The fish smelled off. The steak was burnt. The burger was unseasoned.
A friend and I recently had lunch at Les Enfants Terribles at the “Solar Uniquartier” in Brossard, Quebec and I was frankly underwhelmed by the experience. I have eaten at two other Enfants Terribles restaurants in Montreal, one on the top of Place Ville Marie and the second in Quartier 10/30. My recollection is that they were above-average restaurants, even by Montreal standards. The first strike in my recent visit to the third Enfants Terribles was the menu. There didn’t appear to be a consistent theme, although the majority of selections would indicate a French kitchen. The real outlier for me was “Mac and Cheese” as a pasta choice, versus “artisanal lamb gnocchi”. Having “Mac and Cheese” on the menu devalued the whole restaurant and dining experience for me – they might as well have written “Kraft dinner” on the menu I know that “Mac and Cheese” is now a mainstream menu item in some restaurants, but I cannot understand how this would appear on the menu at Les Enfants Terribles. Strike two was presentation. For a restaurant, “presentation is everything”. After we were seated, I noticed that the water glasses were ale or pilsner glasses, straight bodies with a wide mouth to accommodate a beer head – very unattractive and inappropriate in my opinion for water glasses. Secondly, the napkins were cloth, badly folded, and had a gingham design which did not relate to anything I could see. A white paper folded napkin would have been a marked improvement. In addition, the table came with a small candle, like a small white “emergency” candle, which in our case had been used and was opaque and waxy. Do we really need candles at the table for lunch? Lastly, there was no salt or pepper or anything else on the table. I had to ask for them from the waitress, which should never happen. We weren’t served bread or even offered bread. Strike three was the cost of the food. We ordered fried calamari for two as a starter which were good, but the portion was miserly for $ 19.00. My friend ordered the salmon tartar and I the steak frites. Both dishes were good but the salmon was not accompanied by enough corn chips, which we had to ask for. There was no salt or pepper on the table when I was served my steak – again unacceptable. Each of these main entrees came in at about $34.00 - $35.00 each, which I consider steep. Lunch for two, including two beer to start, shared calamari, two entrees and two coffees, came in at $ 165.00 Cdn., including a 15% tip and taxes. We all know that the price of food has increased as has inflation, but we did not receive good value or a memorable experience for the $ 165.00 expenditure. I will give good marks for the table service but the other issues I’ve mentioned will make me pass on a return visit to les Enfants Terribles. This was disappointing for me because les Enfants Terribles was always one of my favourite go-to places in Montreal.
The presentation of their food and drinks were quite nice! We ordered a gin and soda and i loved receiving the soda separately so we could see the shot of gin. Generous shot of alcohol! Loved the onion rings but the “ranch dip” isn’t ranch. It was dill salad dressing maybe? When we questioned the server she said “sorry! Thats my ranch?!” The waitress was almost scared to answer us and clearly didn’t know how to respond like she never had ranch dressing before however she offered another but we refused. It wasn’t bad just a little strange - the onion rings were better without the “ranch sauce”. We then ordered what was the best mushroom and burrata crustini! Absolutely delicious! Overall, service was good!
Great food. Excellent service. Our server was super attentive and share some good options from the menu. Octopus was delicious. Our 4 year old enjoyed the Octopus as well.
Food was quite pricey for its quality. The best dish was the burrata salad, yummy garlic bread! But otherwise, the other food was not great… the octopus was $38 but it tasted a bit bitter and not tasty… the Mac and cheese bolognese was really bland and a bit watery? Drinks were fine, service was fine. Would not go back.
2nd visit to this restaurant. First time for lunch, delicious hamburger and lobster roll too. Good ambient music. 2nd visit, didnt like the fish and chips, too much breading. I wouldnt call it Fish and Chips. The sticky fries and a little red cabbage salad that was too crunchy. Only 2 tables for 2 people so no choice to change if it doesnt suit. Sitting near the front door, it was cold when anyone entered. Music a little loud. Menu not varied enough.
Excellent meal, served quickly and with dynamic staff!
Theres nothing like a good restaurant for a friends party. The enfant terribles welcomed us with a beautiful menu. An attentive waitress, thank you Annie , and the whole team! Im looking forward to seeing you again!
Cozy atmosphere, courteous staff, delicious!
As of November 22, 2024: - Endless service (arrivals at 6:45 p.m. and drinks served at 7:45 p.m.) - No smile from the waitress - Tartare was not tasty at all - Dessert was 3 small bites The worst part was the attempt to charge 18% TIP WHEN PAYING WITH THE CARD when it is not legal! I dont recommend this restaurant to anyone!!
THE place to spend an excellent evening with friends or alone! Great food and perfect atmosphere
My experience of November 22, 2024 was disappointing Reservation for 7:30 p.m. 24 people, To begin with, the menu was modified the day before. When I contacted the restaurant in mid-October for my reservation, I made a menu choice knowing what the people in the group would choose. Its not in 24 hours, with a group of 20 people/+, that I was going to manage to find another place at this time of year. However, the supervisor still gave us the main menu planned for departure 4 of my guests had a last minute problem, the waitress we had did not hesitate to tell the other employees that it was ridiculous to reserve for 24 if only 20 of them showed up The service was endless, we waited over 40 minutes to receive our drinks. The starter was served to us +/- 1h15 later. Some of my guests wanted to order bottles of wine, but only received one glass of wine. Unable to catch up with the waitress to mention it to her since she immediately disappeared when we paid our bills, the supervisor mentioned that it was a big evening given the traffic, however, there was only us as a large group, the rest of the restaurant was filled with tables of 2 to Around 4 people...there was only one other table of around 10 people (arrived earlier than 7:30 p.m.) My partner asked our waitress, as soon as we arrived, that it was my birthday and that he would like us to mark it with a small piece of cake. However, I have never seen this cupcake... In the menu we chose, there was the option of pudding chômeur or mignardises. They immediately served sweets to everyone, which only included: a cube of fruit jelly, a small profiterole and a small chocolate tartlet the size of a $0.25 during the bills, our waitress informed us that her shift was over and that she had to leave but that one of her colleagues was going to take care of us... only to finally notice that our said waitress was sitting at the bar when we leave around 11 p.m.?! the positive points: food arrived hot and well presented and the flank steak was well seasoned. The appearance of the restaurant is classy and casual, the music wasnt too loud so we were able to have conversations without having to shout In short, completely lacking and disappointing service. I do not recommend this restaurant in any way if you are a group. A first is clearly a last time that I set foot in this restaurant!
very nice evening with friends, the music is perfect because it is not too loud so we get along well. easy access with parking and as we stayed more than 3 hours we had a coupon offered by the restaurant so that our parking was free. we will go back :)
A great evening! Not to mention that they welcomed a group of 50 of us, only 10 days before! Great organization! Thanks again
I recommend this restaurant. I also made a special request and they honored it. Parking: Free street parking for 2 hours max but otherwise, free multi-level parking with restaurant ticket.
The staff is friendly and professional. A beautiful evening with our 89 year old mother.
Chicken hamburger and beets with goat cheese were exceptionally good. Would recommend this restaurant for parties and gatherings. Food : 5/5
Very nice place, but disappointing menu and cuisine. It was a second experience at Les Enfants Terribles, but not the same branch. The first time was on Nuns Island. The second time in Brossard with several years between the two. I had an excellent memory, especially the puding chômeur. This time, we were all disappointed. The octopus was dry and not generous. The scoter was good, but the carrots felt like they were swimming in soup. The pudding chômeur was dry, without sauce. The caramel fondant was more like a white cake with caramel ice cream. I wasnt expecting a cake. All with a high price.
Great lunch, impeccable service!
Having been to different Enfants Terribles, I admit to being disappointed. The service was terrible (literally) We waited 15 minutes before getting the menu (alcohol and food) and then the waiter immediately came to ask us what we were having even though we barely had time to look at the menu. Then he came back only 10 minutes later. Once ordered, we waited a good 15 minutes before getting our glass of wine and beer. Luckily the food was quick and quite good although frozen fries, I could have made some at home...The arrangement of the tables in the restaurant is really not optimal as a good number of them end up near the front door. The door was stuck in open mode so all the cold air was constantly entering. In short, Im not likely to go back there unfortunately.
Excellent service. Good food and beautiful presentation of the dishes. Very nice place to discover.
It was my first day of the new menu. Service really too long. Impeccable food.
We were a small gang of girls, the service was extremely long, we had to get up to reiterate our requests, We got our bottle of wine 45 minutes after arriving even though we were prepared to ask for it from the start. The restaurant is, however, very sparsely filled. It is quite clear that we are not going to come back and recommend it. There was a lack of water, no pro-activity Food was not impressive For a girls outing once every 3 months, we were very disappointed
Parking: Proximity & availability of charging stations
Not a great experience for the price. Decent service, decent food, nothing more. There were 3 of us, two orders of lamb gnocchi, $33 for a small bowl. It was good, like a quick weeknight meal. Also an order of flank steak which was cooked well with a dollop of fries. $36 fair price for steak but very ordinary presentation. First and last time at this restaurant unfortunately. Several best restaurants at dix30
My boyfriend and I had the chips and dip as a starter, which was very good. Then we had the Mac and cheese which was very tasty and tasty (grilled cheese and with truffle). It s the best I ve eaten and I was able to remove the bacon since I m vegetarian, which is nice!! Also, my friend got the burger where the cooking was perfect and the fries were very crispy. Finally, we had a cheesecake which was delicious. The service was great and fast. The atmosphere is very pleasant (not too noisy). I highly recommend!
A great discovery at Les Enfants Terribles . Modern restaurant with a pleasant ambiance and elegant design. The service was fast and very efficient, perfect for an evening with friends or family. The dishes were well presented and tasty, with varied options to please all tastes. A place to recommend for a dinner without a false note! Parking: Parking is located at the rear of the complex, it is very accessible and free. All you have to do is ask for the exit ticket.
The food was really good, the service 100% with a warm atmosphere .
Parking: Je croyais que le stationnement était gratuit mais j ai eu à payer 10$ Food
We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and had to wait 1 hour for the waitress to come take our order. At 8:30 p.m. for starter we had the squid and the salmon tartare which was excellent. I recommend vrm the salmon tartare. We also ordered oysters which never arrived. When our main meal arrived I told the waitress to leave the oysters on. The waitress still wanted to serve them to us but did not charge them on our bill. Unfortunately the oysters were miniature and disappointing. I receive my flank steak . What a horror. Tons and tons of fries soaked in blood from my flank steak since it was quite obvious that there was no rest time, no vegetables, no sauce . Just a flank steak and fries . Ive never seen this before. I had mentioned that it was my partners birthday, no special attention to that. Vrm very very disappointing. Several years ago we went to MTL at Place Ville Marie and I only had good memories of it but not this time. Its over. The waitress did her best but was grossly understaffed.
EN/ESP This place was pretty in decor, it was super good on the drinks and they had a happy hour of getting one and the other is free, so that was great. Went with a big party and everyone ordered some nice meals and mine which was a burger took forever to go out, everyone was done when my meal arrived. So Id say it was nothing groundbreaking, it was okay. The ones who had tartare said it was very good. Id recommend the drinks tho, mine was mojito doutremont it was amazing. - The place is very nice, the decoration is nice, the drinks are very good, they had 2 for 1 happy hour, it was excellent at that. Whats not, I went with a large number of people, we all ordered at the same time and my dish, which was a hamburger, took a thousand years, everyone finished before my dish arrived, and the truth is it was just okay. Those who had tartare said it was good. What I do recommend is the doutremont mojito super delicious.
Everything was perfect. The salmon tartare was delicious and the roll was overflowing with seafood. The cocktail list is super interesting and the service is impeccable. We will go back there for sure.
I loved my experience! The food was really good the cooks do their job very well! For the service 5/5 the busboys and waitresses were all very nice nothing bad to say I would come back with my friend without hesitation
Incredible, I really loved my experience, we tried a little bit of everything, we went to a lot of restaurants and if youre looking for a place to try in Brossard, this is definitely the spot! The food, the service, everything was super beautiful and good, the atmosphere was very classy and I think it has become one of my favorite restaurants thank you to the whole team for this great culinary experience, I will be back soon without exception!!
The fried chicken burger was very ordinary...too much breading around a small piece of chicken!!!
Wow! The tuna tartare starter is simply divine. Tasty crispy chicken burger. Beef scoter, a different piece of meat: tender but not very tasty, the sauce adds the final touch.
The wine arrived a little late on the service Food
Chic and clean place, nice atmosphere but long and painful service from the kitchen and waitresses.
The food was really delicious It was our first time and it really fell in love, well do it again for sure The service was average but we knew at the end of the meal that there was just a waitress on the floor (we received our bottle of wine at the end of our meal ). The restaurant is well set up, you dont feel stuck, its uncluttered. Parking: We have 3 hours free in the rear parking lot but the restaurant offers us a ticket so it is free
Very disappointed with our visit today Dishes not plentiful, we were hungrier when we left than when we returned. Led quantities were not generous Soft, oily fries On the other hand, the waitress was very welcoming and pleasant.
Ordinary service, cuisine in color and without flavor, atmosphere on the terrace brilliant
Absolutely delicious sea bass! Beetroot and hot goat cheese a must. Dietary restrictions: More gluten-free dishes and desserts would be appreciated
We had a great evening yesterday! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice. All the staff members were cheerful and attentive, which greatly contributed to our positive experience. However, we found the welcome at the entrance to be a little cold. Maybe this person didnt have a good day, but that shouldnt detract from the superb performance of the other team members. We highly recommend this place and will happily come back!
Very very very slow and disappointed
Simply wow I felt like I was in a chic area of Paris...magnificent decor...beautiful atmosphere and the food is very good! I will come back soon
Very average atmosphere on the terrace we at least had music from Vertigo otherwise .Average and long service
Very disappointing experience! My colleagues opted for the steak fries . The plates seemed bare with a very small piece of steak (it looked like it had been cut with a ruler and an exacto because it was so square), a tiny portion of fries and no vegetables on the side. The dishes were so bland that it felt like a high school cafeteria. On the other hand, the price was rather different I would use the word ridiculous to describe this steak and fries plate at $36! And for the tartare (my choice), the taste was OK, but nothing more. As for the accompaniments, once again, very ordinary for the price: a green salad composed of a mixture of wilted lettuces (no other ingredients) with a rather bland lemon vinaigrette stuck to the bottom of the bowl, as well as some homemade chips (probably purchased at Super C). I would also add that the presentation was disappointing, it really lacked finishing for a $34 plate! Seeing our plates were so disappointing, we then ordered bread, because obviously we had to ask for it. However, we were warned that it would take a good 10 minutes to grill it, as if they wanted to discourage us from ordering it in the end. Odd Without much surprise, I announce that this was our first and last visit for my colleagues and I to Les enfants terribles in the Dix30 district.
I really liked our waitresss recommendations. The dishes ordered were tasty; I was more than satisfied with my experience!
So disappointed with this restaurant! We had unacceptable service...with a wait of almost 2 hours before having our dishes while the restaurant was almost empty...I took the trouble to write them my comments and I did not receive any response from them leave!! Unacceptable in my opinion!!
Unfortunately very ordinary service, we were a group of 14 people for a birthday and we arrived 1 hour early to have a drink at the bar. No one greeted us when we arrived and it took a very long time before anyone spoke to us at the bar, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The staff there talked among themselves and the customers were not their priority, at least thats the impression it gave. The positive thing is that the food was very good.
Excellent, exactly what I wanted Tartare, beers and oysters.
Our server Marcelo was exceptional and we had VIP service. I recommend the restaurant.
Average food, very average dessert Ive been on it honestly. Very nice restaurant but the cuisine is ok in my opinion
Horrible experience!! We went with friends to show them the restaurant on Saturday April 20...it wasnt a good idea! It was very good but the service was pitiful, from memory the waitress was called Emma. We waited a long time for our dishes but we were in no hurry, we also waited a long time for our aperitifs and bottles of wine, the young lady was too busy chatting with the barmaid.... But the highlight of the evening was when we finally received our bills, she had made a complete mistake in all the bills, including the starters, the dishes and especially the drink, she had put the whole drink on my bill!! I asked her to correct my bill but since my husband had already paid, she said there was nothing she could do for me and to make it right!!! Well done..... I asked to speak to the manager but he had already left!! There were 10 of us trying to sort out the bills and sort things out...wow, what professionalism!!! I called the next day to speak to the manager, left a message but no one called me back.... No need to tell you that we will not be going back and that I will be happy to spread the good news. Very very disappointing HYACINTHE BESSETTE Parking: not too much space on the street
Very disappointing, incredibly slow service. No more bread, no more crème brûlée.
Tartar no taste. Unemployed pudding tastes just like salt Really long service.
Extremely disappointed with our evening. The service was terrible, really long. If we take the time to gather for a meal at a restaurant, especially at this price, we thought we were in for a great experience. We waited almost an hour to get our first drink and 2 hours and 15 minutes to get our starter. They should not take on more customers than they are able to serve. They charge top dollar and scrap our evening. Even no more bread while waiting. I would definitely never return to this place.
Very good
We wanted to go to Vertigo, right next to this restaurant but it was full. So we went to Enfants Terribles and this restaurant was empty. I now understand why. Regardless, it was a beautiful restaurant that could offer a great experience. Our experience was more than disappointing. I regret not leaving the table and I regret leaving tip. It took a long time to receive our order even though we were only 3 tables with people in the restaurant. The waitress who took our order had an unpleasant attitude, no smile. I felt uncomfortable being spoken to with attitude. And when we received the order, it was the icing on the sundae, she was yelling at us because no one had ordered this dish. And she insisted. I will never set foot there again. I should never have stayed there with my gang. Ah! Yes. My chicken burger was a deep fry burger with a piece of chicken in the middle. And the childrens menu wow ridiculous for the price. I invite you to look at the menus of your neighboring restaurants and review your staff. Worst experience.
My recent visit to the restaurant which dates from June 7, 2024 was extremely disappointing. Not only was the service incredibly slow, but both waitresses also had a rude attitude that greatly affected our experience. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not crowded, it took forever to receive our dishes. Additionally, two of your waitresses seemed completely disinterested in our presence and were rude with every interaction. Their lack of professionalism and courtesy seriously tainted our meal. As a customer, I expect a minimum of respect and politeness from restaurant staff. Unfortunately, this experience was anything but pleasant, and I am seriously considering never returning to this establishment. Unfortunately there is not an answer with zero stars otherwise I was going to put that in place of a single star Train your staff
Took 30 minutes to be greated at the table by the waiter/get water, took another 20 minutes to get our wine . The vibe and food are great but service is a big 0.
Restaurant with potential. Too bad the service was very long. 20 minutes before having a waitress. 1 hour between our services. Food ok..
Good morning, Nice evening in general, but there were some small downsides. I ate there as a meal. Honestly, it saddens me to say it but she was pitiful. I received a bun filled with salad with a minimal amount of seafood. I was very disappointed with the price. Also, our group arrived a little later when there were fewer people, but even so, the service was a little slow. This was disappointing considering it was the party of one person in our group.
I would like to share my experience in order to make some changes and improvements to this restaurant. we had reserved a table for a birthday dinner for my friends and me. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service rather slow but it was a Saturday evening and unfortunately my meal was very disappointing. I ordered the Seafood Guédille and received a cold roll that had a few mini shrimp and lots of salad. I was very disappointed in terms of quality/price.
Service was bad and took forever for the food (not a busy night). Had to chase the waiter for menus and highchairs at the begginning, then for salt when the food was here. Towards the end, I had a fork in my hand and the waiter asked if I was done with my food lol.
The Sea Wolf is truly excellent. One of the best Ive had the opportunity to eat.
Very good food and the service was very good. Even though we were a big gang, the waiter gave very good service.
Service was way too slow... Waited almost 45min to 1 hour for our food while it wasnt too busy in the restaurant...
Superb restaurant with beautiful decor, but the food unfortunately leaves something to be desired. Cold fries and charred cheeseburger meat. Group of 6 we had 5 out of 6 plates at the same time. I will not return.
Personally, I dont understand the bad reviews. I checked the menu before arriving at the restaurant, the food that was on the menu was exactly what I had, well prepared, quickly and served warmly. Was it expensive? Yes, but not out of this world. I recommend.
We were a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but our experience was great! The Labneh starter with olives was delicious! The menu offers several varied choices for all tastes. We appreciated the variety of mocktails offered (real mixes and not just juice ) The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy. The pudding chômeur was amazing!
A perfect place for a dinner in good company or with your partner!
For my group of 20. Experience #1 time VillelleMarie March 2023 it was soso, very long service. And luck #2 Brossard March 2024. Group of 20 people. March 16, 2024 6:00 p.m. Choice menu for $64. Limited menu for groups. The criticism that comes up all the time. A bit expensive for what we received. (Vegetarian option practically non-existent. Choice of 1 dish .) In a group he will not have a 3rd time.
Not good, service not good, food not good..Cold, and even water we need to keep asking for... I went to Macdonalds after I spent 120$ dinner and get a big Mac that did the job well great!!
The food was great, but the service was exemplary.
Top restaurant to try... little suggestion of bavette (fried steak)
I am really disappointed with the service, the waiters have a really unpleasant attitude, and it took 2h30 to get the food, plus they made a mistake with my plate and I had to wait 20 minutes more to get what I had ordered . I dont recommend the restaurant and if you want good service go to Vertigo next door
My experience was mixed. Although we had made a prior reservation and showed up at the agreed time, the check-in process was somewhat frustrating. The greeter server insisted on checking our reservation several times , even after providing him with the required details Moreover, despite our specific request for another table, he flatly refused arguing that the restaurant was full, when clearly, more than two thirds of the tables were still vacant. This attitude created an unwelcoming impression. We ended up leaving and going to dinner elsewhere, in the end we are more looking for an atmosphere and a good experience than food .
Family dinner The starter plates were not served at the same time. 10-15 mins intervals Regular and dry starters Meals reduced portions for the price.. Waitress chatting with other employees while we wait. Seriously to avoid!!!
Food is expensive for the quality and quantity. If you want to keep up with the competition nearby, you better work on both. I am not saying it was bad but I won t be returning there.
During my recent visit to Les Enfants Terribles, I was immediately drawn to the exceptionally calm and welcoming atmosphere of the place, ideal for a relaxed evening. The quality of the food greatly contributed to this memorable experience, with tasty and well-presented dishes that delighted my taste buds. However, it is important to note that the service, although very friendly, was a little slow. That said, the quality of the cuisine and the peaceful atmosphere more than make up for this short wait. I highly recommend Les Enfants Terribles to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a serene setting.
Very quiet!
Very good, tlm liked it. Oysters for $1 extra. Parking: Ask for your free parking ticket at the restaurant.
I have never eaten such a succulent flank steak.
Ms first time was on the mark. Bison ribs, taste and cooking #1 I recommend, impeccable and almost personalized service. Twice, flank steak, a meal that even a pizzeria could succeed in making so popular. In short, overcooked, taste of burning, very ordinary fries, sauce that does not match the flank steak. For the price and overall sorry but you are not up to it. Just to finish, I ate at your neighbors the day before without naming it and everything was perfect. I believe you can do much better, you proved it to me on my first visit.
The restaurant is magnificent, as is the atmosphere. That said, the service was long. The person in charge of our table seemed to prefer chatting with his colleagues at the bar to taking our order. In terms of food, the mac and cheese was disappointing, tasteless and bland. However, I understand that meat is rather their specialty so the tartare and carpaccio were great.
Super good restaurant, starters really good, main course Putin with beef cheek delicious
Having gone to the restaurant in Montréal and having loved it , the Brossard location was unfortunately a total disappointment. First off, the food: Calamari entrée was ok Tartar dinner was not very well presented such a tiny portion, the plate was empty and not appealing at all -the taste had really nothing spectacular. The cheeseburger and fries was sad to look at and again not very tasty. The service was fine but nothing to rave about - the restaurant was not full on a Saturday night so they did have time to tend to us. Atmosphere was good as we were with a bunch of friends. However being seated beside the door, we did get drafts from the winter cold. Will never go back ....... Parking: good parking venue -
Excellent food and service! The restaurant was not too noisy which made it a good experience. I recommend the onion rings, french onion soup, cheeseburger, carrot cake.
The place looked great until we sat at our table. We then noticed a lingering smell in the air, kind of cat litter meet sweaty socks. The table where we were sitting close to the back was right next to the waiters quarters and all of their clothing and boots were left there. Made the meal experience a little bit biased even though the meal was good. Waiter was a bit confused and did not know his menu very well. Yorkshire Pudding was for dessert and they were so hard, my friends daughter had to pound her spoon on it to get in. Mine came with a puddle of cream, later identified by the other desserts as melted ice cream. Waiter was nice enough to credit the dessert. Needless to say, our experience was not the best one.
The waitress was incredibly kind and professional, however the service was really excessively long (its the kitchens fault, its not their fault) The food was very basic and cold for the price The cocktail limes were dry I don t advise Otherwise, nice atmosphere and good staff!
Several good meal choices at reasonable prices.
We had a reservation to be seated at the bar. Nice welcome until the moment to ask our server for a menu in French. His response was that the holiday menus were only printed in English. He went to find us one in French. On his return, menu in French in hand, he said to us with a very stupid look, hold on, that way there wont be any arguments. We were so surprised by his response, we got up and left the restaurant. This was our first time at your restaurant and it will be our last.
We wondered why the restaurant was empty when we arrived. We quickly understood why. The waitress was really condescending and we really seemed to bother her... There were 4 tables of us in the entire restaurant and we were crowded together. Food is ok but not worth the price. Unable to pay with a prepaid Visa card. In short, I recommend the surrounding restaurants but dont waste your money there! Nothing to do with the other restaurants of the same name...
Great trendy place where the food is excellent!
Very pricey for quality
Excellent food. Unfortunately poor service. Its such a shame. Reservation at 6:30 p.m., we placed our orders at 7:15 p.m. The meal and coffee were finished around 8:30 p.m. At 9:50 p.m., we had to ask for our bills, ignored all evening by our server asking for the minimum required. The feeling was that we did not exist. Was there a lack of staff ? Yet he didnt seem that busy. Bottle à la carte 2017, we are served a 2018. It may seem futile, but serve us what you announce! We ask why. Answer: of the 3 restaurants of the name, we do not have the first choices indicated on our menus . 10 guests, 9 unanimously disappointed. The tip was (unfortunately for the team) substantial. Well done, the food is good, tasty, well presented, the place is nice, airy and tasteful. But the service from this server what a disappointment. I left the establishment clearly disappointed. He (the waiter) saw it clearly and still had the courage to talk to me and ask me what he could have done better. With emotion, I explained to him. He wished me a good evening. I did the same.
Expected more since I had a good experience in downtown mtl.
The waitress and welcome are perfect. The decor is sublime but the food Meh... Ordered with 7 people. 1 charred burger while we take the time to ask the type of cooking (medium or well cooked, he had chosen medium), cocktails (same cocktail but the presentation is not the same so different taste (a sprig of rosemary with ginger vs a sprig of mint and lemon makes an impact). Also the cocktail is 80% ice so after 3 sips its water The beef tartare is good. and the salmon was devoured. The childrens plates with chicken bites are good. So good for an outing but everything will depend on the cook and his consistency. Parking: Underground, outdoor and street parking Kid-friendliness: Full menu for children and waitresses without judgment
Nice welcome and beautiful restaurant, but the quality of the dishes is very ordinary. The chef makes a new creation every evening, this time, the shrimp risotto, it was really a failure. The risotto was not cooked at all properly and despite the salt and pepper added, the taste was almost absent. Very disappointing.
Lack of atmosphere, different from other franchises!
If you want to wait 2hrs to be served your supper then this is the place. Reservation was at 6:30 we ordered at 7:30 got served our supper at 9. The food was really not that fantastic, and way overpriced. Will not be going back.
Good service and good food!
Outstanding service (Annie) Wonderful welcome...!! Parking: Spacious space, pantry present to our eyes at all times...
Expensive price. Food ok
Les Enfants Terribles is my favorite place when I have visitors. Last night I had the pleasure of ordering my favorite dish from this place, the octopus. Although the taste and consistency was as delicious as usual, I noticed that the serving size seemed to be smaller than on my previous visits. I understand that serving sizes may vary from location to location, and I appreciate the effort that goes into creating this delicious dish. My friend was super happy with his Osso buco. Overall we had a wonderful evening and cant wait to return soon.
Excellent service, delicious mushroom risotto but a little too much garlic
Nice atmosphere and good food
Excellent meal and service
Beautiful atmosphere and the service was extraordinary. Good food, I will definitely come back
A must visit when in the area! The prices may be a little high but you get what you pay for . Unfortunately I forgot to take pics, I ll 100% be back!
Order the beef cheek poutine. It was delicious. Fries were super hot and everything was great.
Amazing service . Staff is great very welcoming . Food was good also . All together great experience! Highly recommend the 48 hrs braised beef Food : 5/5 |
good food, good service and worth a return visit
Disappointing evening we were a group. Several errors in the order. Food arriving late. The majority of the group was disappointed with their plate. The food was not seasoned, the dishes were bland and tasteless and arrived cold. One of our guests ate ribs and went to the bathroom a few minutes later to be sick. Les enfants Terribles now enters the chain restaurant category with dishes that surprise no one, an agreed menu and high prices for the quality which was totally absent.
Super nice atmosphere, very good service from our waitress, I recommend :)
Excellent food. Beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service from Mélissa. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Fish and chips were good, the fish was cooked perfectly. For me, there was way too much vinaigrette on my salade. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The food was cold and too salty. I am really disappointed with my experience.
I had dinner for my birthday last Friday and everything was super good! We were a good group. It lacks a bit of atmosphere (trendy little music) and the service was a little slow given the traffic, but we had really good service despite everything! Thanks to the staff!
Completely disappointing group booking. Price too high for the portions. Ordinary taste! Server lost, absent, and falsely reassuring. The plates are on the way...Hey honey, we got our starters 1h30 after our arrival! We waited more than ate in the end. In summary: 1-endless wait between services (3 hours total for the meal)...2-beginner waiter (I dont know his experience though)...3-pathetic portion for the price...4-us stuffing bread to compensate for the wait between services is not a solution. NEVER AGAIN THIS RESTAURANT!
The menu is a little all over place, hard to tell what their style or speciality is and therein lies the problem. I had the roasted cauliflower salad, the cauliflower was undercooked so very chewy covered in way way too much of the spice mixture so it was very gritty in texture. Y friend and I shared what the waiter referred to as a meal sized poutine that cost 19$ (!!!!) and it was tiny. It was the saddest poutine Ive ever had, the curd cheese was cold so it didnt melt and the fries undercooked. The only good part was the drink - I had the Thé(rrible). I will not be returning.
I would say 3.5 quality of service versus price The hostess phew not easy a smile . The octopus was excellent The waitress was nice but we had to raise our hand for her to come to the table from the moment we received the main meal... at the price of the meal I would have expected a more attentive service lets say And there was no rush in the restaurant at all
Service leaves something to be desired
Gluten free options available
Wow, what a beautiful evening for our first visit. The plate of braised beef was just too succulent. A special thank you to the director for his welcome and hospitality. A second visit is necessary.
First time, Friday July 28, arrival without reservation group of 8 people immediately welcomed with kindness and great professionalism. Once seated we were greeted by a very kind and polite waitress (who knows the menu by heart) with a smile. The food is excellent portion and quality well worth the price. Thanks to all the team. We will come back
Decent dinner! But being told to shut up by the waitress because weve been waiting for 15 minutes to pay! Never again at this restaurant!!
The atmosphere is really nice the decor and vibe all great. Looks like a nice hip spot well located. However the food was subpar and way too salty to my liking. Especially the kids menu. Unbelievable. The service was fast but the server barely came by and kept disappearing although they only had 4 tables to serve. I will not return unfortunately.
Great neighborhood brewery! To discover! Excellent food. Great products simply prepared with taste. Professional and friendly service. My sure shot destination for all occasions in Brossard
We booked for 8. Spoiler alert: we all got sick without exception. When ordering, my friend specifies that she wants a poutine starter for $10. The waitress brings him poutine as a $29 meal. We tell her that this is not what she ordered. The waitress says she can still eat the dish and they will adjust the price. Surprise: she charged him the $29 poutine. So she ended up with a bill of $60+ for herself. The plates took 1.5 hours to arrive at the table!!! The restaurant really wasnt full since it was Thursday. The mac and cheese was undercooked, almost no sauce, dry pasta and 2 pieces of bacon. The dish is tiny for $21 +tx and we had to take extra fries because we were still hungry. My friends salad wasnt cut, they just put the whole salad on her plate and she had to cut it. As the salad was whole, it had almost no sauce. The best part is that we have all been sick, without exception. Probably due to the fact that the plates were poorly prepared. If you want to waste your time and money, this restaurant is for you.
I had a great experience, the food and service was A1. I recommend 10/10 :)
Very good dishes and varied options. The decor is great and the tables are not too crowded
Disappointed compared to the first times I ate there. The only dish we had that really deserves a wow was the beef carpacio. The oil in which you fried the squid was due to be changed. The Caesar salad was not cut on the plate and we had to ask for a steak knife to work with it (which is not a tragedy in itself) except that there was not enough sauce for it. salad afterwards. The beet salad was sad. I had the impression that I was given a leftover batch. The beet pieces were tiny and there were very few compared to the ton of grapes I had. It wasnt a horrible experience. Only I wont go back there again.
Very nice restaurant/bar, festive atmosphere. Excellent dishes. Well done and well presented. Diverse menu. Excellent choice of beers, cocktails. Nice wine list.
Excellent restaurant! I highly recommend.
Super good meal!
It was our first time yesterday for this restaurant. We were on a girls outing. We have not been disappointed ! There are dishes for all tastes. You absolutely must try the flank steak with gravy! The portions were generous! Beautiful decor and nice atmosphere. Employee level from reception to management (waitress, mixologist, manager etc.) everything is perfect. I would even say that the people who work at this place take the customer experience to heart! We had a lovely evening and ate well. We will come back to see you for sure!
Food was amazing !! Service was great. Nice restaurant. Manager was super friendly and checked up on our table as well. The only downside...the music didnt really follow the vibe of the restaurant. Would definitely go back !!
We went with my colleagues and it was perfect, the ambiance was very nice, the service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. For sure I recommend this place. Parking: If you stay more than 3 hours, they will give you a ticket for the Indigo parking.
Highly recommend.
An extraordinary experience both with the food and the service. I had forgotten my handbag and the whole team moved heaven and earth to give it to me with all its contents! A big thank you to the chef, waiter and head office for their extraordinary service!
Overall satisfactory experience, new dish on the menu, The oysters are very good and very large, excellent value for the price ($1) per oyster. Very good onion soup The flank steak is excellent with a good grill taste and the sweet potato fries also with a hint of salt. The Chinese pasta with braised beef is also very good, a little lacking in seasoning but a touch of salt easily solves the problem. The tartare always excellent The green salads are ok (normal, nothing complicated) Chômer pudding dessert always a good choice (original recipe since their beginning) and strawberry funfetti good and light but cake a little dry. Parking: If more than 3 hours ask the staff for a coupon.
First time as a customer and probably the last time. The highlights: free parking and the $1 kids burger and oysters are worth the detour. However, I do not recommend the place on a Saturday evening when there are a lot of groups. Horribly too loud music and a very questionable style for a brasserie of this style. We understand that restaurateurs are experiencing all the challenges of the labor shortage, but we must also be able to put ourselves in the shoes of the customer who leaves more than $100 on a bill. A small glass of wine , a small free dessert or a small coupon for next time when the waiting time is considerably too long, incorrect orders, dishes brought and given to another table could make an evening smoother. Ps: we told our waitress everything, poor her... she was the waitress of a table of people from the restaurant and hotel industry! I hope these comments will be useful and, above all, constructive.
pretty ordinary service from the waiter! the freshness of your salmon tartare was quite ordinary, I didnt even finish my plate. I will never go back and I simply do not recommend!!!
Calm and perfect atmosphere for getting together with friends. I was even very comfortable having my 3 month old baby with us on the seat. The music is not too loud, ideal for discussions. The service was slow, but it allowed us to chat between meals and relax. Kid-friendliness: Calm and pleasant atmosphere for everyone.
We loved all the desserts we had ordered...Great atmosphere!!!
Perfect food, perfect place, perfect waitress: Marilou, and perfect hostess: Sophie. A must try.
Good deal for oysters at $1, but available in limited quantities. At 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday there were none left. Good drinks, but we were disappointed with the dinner. The mushroom pasta sauce was runny at the bottom of the bowl. The roll was OK, but nothing more. Do not take the large table located in front of the entrance, in winter the cold comes straight in and you will be tempted to keep your coat on. In November we felt the cold... Its not great, but for the price you would expect better. Vegetarian options: Some options identified on the menu. Parking: Accessible by the REM
I really liked the place. The cozy and gentle atmosphere that I like. We had the oysters as a starter, they were simply delicious. Main meal flank steak, cooking was perfect (rare). For dessert, the pudding chômeur (phew) and carrot cakes a small downside for the (American) coffee which I didn t find tasty enough. 2nd downside was the bathroom where there was a foul smell (probably a lack of water in the drain) and which lacked a bit of cleanliness.
The food was exceptional and the atmosphere cosy and loungy. Wonderful drinks too. I would recommend for any kind of supper, be with friends or en amoureux!
Super nice experience at the enfant terribles from start to finish. We went on a Friday evening with a couple of friends. We had the oysters for $1 with lots of starters. Blood sausage, tuna taco, carpaccio, fried squid. Besides the carpaccio which was not very tasty, all our other dishes were super good. Our waiters and waitresses were very friendly. I would go back without hesitation
Very enjoyed our meal as well as the service. Pleasant and trendy atmosphere.
Terrible service and terrible food! Don t waste your money here!
I had dinner with friends at the Brossard location. Service took forever and the food was not what you would expect for the price. They put alot of effort on the decor and not enough on food and staffing.
One of the best decorated of the series. Feels very welcoming. Food is good as well as the service.
Wheelchair accessibility: Facile daccès pour ma belle en fauteuil roulant
Saturday evening it seems that the chefs wife gave birth and he left so another chef from the restaurant on the island of sisters came to replace him, 2 hours of waiting for a hamburger is too long and the menu is not great, more of squid and not the kind of wine requested, in short, very bad experience. I can understand that certain situations happen but manage them poorly and really not great!!! The terrible children
The food was so bad, never going back.
Good service but quite expensive
Good food, nice place and good service. Price is a bit on the higher end but ambiance made up for it
Very good service, food pretty good but not exceptional
As a first time customer, Im very displeased of the service and food. I dont think of coming back or suggesting to others. A reservation was made on a Sunday evening and the restaurant wasnt filled; assuming service would be on point - greatly mistaken. I give this restaurant a 2 star for the aesthetic presentation and another for the only waitress who tried. The irony that the restaurant is called Les Enfants Terribles. Positive: -The presentation of the restaurant was very eye pleasing. -The aesthetic gave a nice atmosphere. -The cocktail was presentable, had good flavour and great aromatic. Negative: -Service was under subpar; the servers could be more welcoming/inviting. There was no offer to understand the menu (items that werent available and a seperate menu of the day/specials) -Food arrived warm/room temp at best. -1 waitress out of the 3 actually tried to do their job. -Unapologetic for tardiness in the kitchen(waited over an hour for food)
Its definitely worth the detour. I dont understand the severity of the notes before us. Squid and little chorizo pogos wow. Mac n cheese bolognese Wow. Decor and staff, wow!!!
Im sorry but the excuse of labor shortage no longer justifies service below the bar for the asking prices.
Music loud - difficult to talk
Really disappointing. The food is ordinary and the service terrible. The waiter forgot our orders and was absent for most of the meal even though there was no crowd at all. Ill pass next time. There is much better elsewhere for less money.
We had a reservation at 8:30 and the restaurant closed at 9:00. We received excellent service from the moment we arrived until the end. The food was fresh and well served. The restaurant is clean and very beautiful inside as well.
It took2 hours to arrive .
As part of a reservation with a group menu, the service was very long and the servers were not very present. The main meal was served chilled for everyone. Also, it was too expensive for what we ate, in addition to requiring a mandatory tip of 18% of the total after tax.
EXCELLENT SERVICE! The experience in a restaurant is as important as the quality of the meal. Here we were pampered and got both. Thank you so much
Very friendly staff, fast service, relaxed atmosphere and we did not feel rushed. The music volume could be set high during 5-7 but should be turned down a bit during dinner it is difficult to talk over the music.
Great place, excellent food as well as service. Only small downside, music too loud.
