We were very pleased with the food and the service! Gabby the waitress was amazing!! The meat shoval for meat lovers was amazing and the chicken souvlaki was tastly and tender. those greek patatoes ..mmmmmm I recomend this restaurant!!

Very good food, good service, but the music of Greek chants is very loud and unpleasant. I told the waitress who did not like my comment, following my request, there was a change of server. No matter where we sit, it is difficult to communicate with the person opposite. This was my 2nd time at this restaurant, but the 1st time the waitress had turned down the sound and checked to make sure it was OK for the people at the table. In short, a restaurant is a place for discussion and not a nightclub.

I would like to say in one word, its great

First time there and quite disappointed. I dont think I will eat there again. The souvlaki pita was dry and the pita had pronounced uncook floor taste. Chicken was super dry. The octopus was a total miss and simply not good. This is not how to cook octopus!

Quite disappointed with my first visit to this chain of Greek restaurants. Tsé, when do you have to ask for utensils and napkins because no one thought to give us some with our meal phew! We ordered fried calamari. They seemed very promising. However, quite difficult to eat (rubbery). The breading and sauces were OK. Main course, plate of chicken gyro pita with Greek potatoes and salad. I was expecting good roast potatoes with seasoning. No, received mushy potato wedges with a poutine-style sauce. The gyro was good though.

Great experience at Souvlaki Bar! The food was delicious and Jean-Maximes service impeccable: fast, attentive and warm. I recommend without hesitation!

We were a group of 18 and we all enjoyed our service with Aristea. We will come back! Food and coffee are really tasty and delicious. I highly recommend this place, you wont regret it!!

Had dinner there yesterday and our waitress tipped herself 15% without my consent. My receipt was $43.34. She handed me the machine so I could tap my card and as I was looking at my phone to set up apple pay, she took the machine back. Didn t think much of it in the moment thinking she was going to make my friend pay first instead. Once I was ready to pay, she handed me the machine again and the total was $50.99 and I didn t have the option to tip. I was perplexed, but tapped my card regardless thinking the $43.34 didn t include taxes. I took a second look at the paper receipt and realized that the total did indeed include taxes and the waitress most likely tipped herself before handing me the machine. I proceed to ask why the amounts were different and she explains that it s because of the tip I added. I explain that I never added a tip since I didn t have the option. She proceeds to apologize and explains that she can t reimburse me because the machine can t issue refunds (Please note that I didn t even ask for a refund). This was extremely inappropriate and the tipping culture is going out of hand. I want to add that I had the intention of tipping her regardless and I m a VERY generous tipper but feeling untitled to people s hard earned money is NEVER okay.

You cant take these seats, they are for parties of 6. 5 minutes later, they placed 3 parties of 4. Food is OK, waitresses hate their jobs.

Recently ordered from Uber Eats for pick up and was extremely disappointed how the missed the order notes, i got things I didn t ask for and didn t get the things I asked for.

The gyros are sooooo good and the fries are delish. Its my go to place. Staff nice and friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much food he had on our plate. For $25, its a lot on our plate and I love it. Now for $25 you usually dont get much. Its guaranteed that I will come back

Most carefree owner I have seen. They put MY phone number in place of their number for the third time. So I was bombarded with calls for days and the only way to deal with it was to move. Arrived on site, no thanks for my trip and no apology for the inconvenience, no compensation for the 2 hour drive... Having known I would not have traveled and I would have taken calls from your customers in your place.

Strongly recommend this Souvlaki Bar! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the price was very fair. I took the Chicken Gyro Bowl - it was delicious and very filling! I was always hesitant to try Souvlaki Bar restaurants. But now I am planning to becoming a regular :) EDIT: We went last week, and we were served by the best waitress we have ever encountered anywhere! Thank you Aristea for that awesome service!

In my opinion souvlaki bar sets the standard for Greek food in Brossard. Not to mention the two times that we went we had our two toddlers and the staff are so helpful, patient and accommodating. Everyone I know loves this place.

Everything was great and amazing, just the wooden seats arent very confortable. 5/5 service and food. Parking: Theres a huge free parking lot in the back of the building.

I dont understand the 4.4 star rating... Very noisy, very ordinary service, Sangria sweeter than maple syrup, chicken with no taste except for the skin, leave my dish and my Sangria and left... to avoid...

It was an amazing evening, food, service and atmosphere was point on...our server made it feel like we where at a family function given all the attention.

One of the worst dining experiences at a Greek restaurant of my life, and thats saying something. My friend and I had two chicken gyro pitas with tsaziki and spicy sauce, and a spanakopita starter. The spanakopita was tiny and didnt even come with a tsaziki sauce, so it was dry in the end, far from the authentic Greek classics. In terms of the quality of the gyros, the pita was dry and was not at all tender. The tsaziki was bland and the spicy sauce didnt spice it up. The quality of the meat seemed to be thawed chicken and didnt taste fresh either. If you are expecting to taste a classic of authentic Greek cuisine, fresh and tasty, you will not find what you are looking for. As for the service, I cant blame the waitress, however we ordered take out and when we arrived to take the order, we asked to finally have a table since the order was not ready, and we were refused a table for the sole reason that they could not transfer everything to a plate. After this poor dining experience, its not so bad in the end.

We were apparently recommended one of their specialties, chicken pitas with spicy sauce. The quality of the chicken left so much to be desired that we wondered if it wasnt turkey because it tasted like nothing and the texture was rubbery. This universal classic was unrecognizable: there was nothing Greek in this bland sandwich with tired tomato, flavorless tsaziki, and factory bread. My disappointment was such that I said to myself that Tim Hortons probably made a better Italian pizza than this Greek restaurant with its Greek cuisine. The portions are also quite small, so you either eat beforehand to avoid being hungry, or you simply avoid this restaurant. :)

Ate here while passing through, and I was craving greek food. My oh my was I happy I went. The food was very delicious, and the portions, besides the meat - you gotta pay for more if you want it, which is understandable - were huge. Very content with my experience.

A nice, service is agreeable and fast. Ordered the sesame grilled feta cheese. Very nice. Then the gyro chicken pork and louktnos for two. With extra pita... The plate is way too much for two, i think they would be better served by adding some condiments like lettuce, tomato and cucumber to make the experience better. The food is way way too seasoned almost too salty... So a bit of veggies would tone down the saltiness of the whole meal.. But will go back..

Excellent service Generous and hearty meal

The place had great food and this would have been a good food experience. Nevertheless, even though we are in 2024 the waitress which wasn t actually our waitress gave us a small glass of hot water when asked for hot water refill for 5 adults tea. We spent 123$ before taxes and tipped our waitress 15%. The attitude of the waitress was insulting.

I had dinner with my cousins on the weekend, the place was full, beautiful noisy atmosphere, great service and good food.

Had the souvlaki pita plate. Everything was good. Their french fries are exceptionally good. Had this same meal at their location in Blainville get, and the fries there were also exceptionally good. Prices are very reasonable considering how much food you get, especially in comparison to other restaurants. My friend had the lentil soup and the chicken gyro bowl, both of which she said were excellent. Have eaten at various Souvlaki Bar locations. They were all good. Will definitely continue to eat there.

The workers are not doing their service perfectly. it was friday 07/06/2024 at 7:35 when i was done eating my food with my friend and than one girl she comes to us and ask that how do you want to pay and my friend she says that she wants to pay by card and than our food cost 62$ and pluse teep it cost 66$ and 3$ extra when the service she saw that we only pay 3$ teeps she take the reset and hat it to my frend face and that was not respectful.i will not go back to this rustorant again.

I ordered the souvlaki with Greek potatoes. No chance of being hungry again if you empty the plate, you get what you pay for. I would go back. Wheelchair accessibility: Im not in a wheelchair or anything else but it seemed quite accessible to me without steps to climb with several places available on the first floor.

The place resonates a lot, too much noise in general. The service was good right up to the table. The waiter isnt even worthy of saying hello. Takes the glasses as these didnt exist and wonders why it costs $4, when its service is low-end. Other than that, the food is excellent except for the potatoes. Need more spice or modify them.

Went the other day. They charged us the 3$ sharing fee, just because I walked in with my friend for his to go order... make it make sense?? Even if someone was eating at the restaurant, it wouldnt make any sense. Server at the front was extreamly rude, no hello, thank you, have a good day. It was a young girl, blond or brunnette I forgot. Anyways, for the price, the food was okay.

Way too expensive for the quality and quantity!!! I ordered a plate of chicken souvlaki with uber eat, the plate doesnt even come with rice and potato, its either one or the other. I chose rice and my dish was made up of 80% rice with a mini skewer and 2 small pitas + Greek salad...$25 + tax. For comparison with another similar restaurant, Le Boustan offers much better for less.

Clean restaurant and the food is very good! I mentioned some servers during my visits because its a restaurant that I often frequent, lacking professionalism by being very unpleasant as if they were just not trying to work!

On a commandé et c était vraiment pas bon. La salade n a clairement jamais été nettoyé avant d être servie, le mix des épices était dégueulasse. J aime vraiment la franchise de Souvlaki bar, mais lui au dix30, je ne le recommande pas ! Sans parler de l air bête de lhôtesse qui a pris ma commande et qui me l a remis lorsque je suis passée récupérer ma le tout.

The potatoes served with the souvlaki pita plate are not good, too oily. The salad was ordinary. Its quite expensive, the value for money is not there. The service is good and the atmosphere ok.

Food is very good. The servers always seem to be frustrated from life in general. I dont even think I have spotted a server with a smile. Do they realize, the larger the smile, the greater the tip? I guess not....

Used to be our go to family place, till I miscalculated the tip and got a tongue lashing from the waitress about it. I mean I understand salary alone is not enough, but her approach was rude and unnecessary in front of my kids.

I went there a couple days ago and the service was terribles.first of all, the waiter approached us with an attitude then We asked for no porc on the pita the waiter looked like he understood and wrote it down but when the food arrived there was porc and the waiter proceeded to get irritated fast. Secondly when i was going to pay the waiter already added the tip to the total as if i would not notice i played it off so he would get irritated even more thinking he maybe had a bad day. Another incident happened tonight with the waitress.it was so far so good until the tike to pay, again .. the service was once again terrible so we decided to give a low percentage of tip but the waitress was very and i mean very angry about it. She proceeded to say that we are supposed to put 15% of tip as if there was a rule about it..? And made a big deal out of it.

I try to pass by when Im in the mood for simple Greek fare. Friendly service, consistently good food and huge portions. Staff are always accommodating and aim to please. No, its not fancy, and its part of a chain, but this location has always hit the mark. I love the calamari pita plate. Its actually better than some of the meals I had in Greece.

The plates are huge and the prices are reasonable. Hopefully my comments could help the chef in some way. We were 3 and all found that the rice was bland. The salad is very good, the pita bread was amazing and the fries are incredible (but the greek potatoes not so much). My dad had calamari, they were rubbery and both the sauces dont really fit flavor-wise. We waited 45 minutes for a pretty ordinary experience. Overall I would recommend but I would not go back as there was nothing memorable. Vegetarian options: I had the veggie pita and it was simple but good. There are a lot of vegetarian options but no vegan options.
