Upmarket Italian BYOB venue (part of a local chain) offering a Sunday brunch with a flambé station.
GOURMET BRUNCH SUNDAYS 🥵 Chocolate Fountain; Grand Marnier flambeed waffles; unlimited oyster salmon and pasta etc 🤌 Because it is never enough FOOD 🤤👇 Portovino delivers a decadent feast that’s hard to top. Their Sunday brunch is nothing short of a culinary journey (10AM-2PM). From classic breakfast staples like scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and golden waffles to Italian-inspired dishes such as fresh pasta, the spread is extensive. Highlights include: 🥓 Breakfast and Omelette Station (extra extra bacon please) 🥐 Bread and Cheese Station (less not forget the croissants) 🦪 Cold Station and Oyster Bar (unlimited salads, salmon and oysters) 🍝 Lunch Station (roast meats, mussels and of course their Pasta) 🍫 Fresh Fruits and Desserts Station (with a chocolate fountain, tiramisu, canoli etc) 🔥 Flambé Station (Grand Marnier or Tia Maria flambeed crepes, waffles or French Toast) 🍹Drinks (not included in price): Juices, smoothies, coffees, soft drinks
Portovino was alright but kinda overpriced for what we got. Ordered the table d’hôte with Osso Buco, arugula salad, salmon, and chicken fingers for the kids. Salmon was solid and came with veggies, but the Osso Buco got drowned in tomato sauce—like, chill on the sauce. Sides were mashed potatoes and veggies, which my wife liked for being low-carb and healthy. Service was friendly, parking was easy, but the food was mid considering the price.
The service was nice. The place is huge with a lot of tables but maybe because of that, they put all the customers in the front window and the surroundings that felt noisy in a crowded way. It was hard to keep a conversation. I was hearing everyone else's conversations. I was not able to enjoy a conversation but, good point to highlight: its a BYOW . The amount of food was huge and it tasted descent.
Amazing experience truly a gem 💎.The food was really good, the staff was sweet and I was smiling a lot . The atmosphere was amazing. Truly 10/10. The staff don't interact with you too much which I like but maybe you might see it as rude but amazing overall
The service was great, our server was amazing. The problem is the food. A lot of the dishes were VERY salty, I only took a couple of bites from my risotto because of how salty it was. The steak from the “table d’hôte” menu and the salmon were grilled but burnt at the top, because of that many bites just tasted like charcoal. And again, the white sauce that came with the steak was also very salty. Overall, we had a great time but the food is not worth the price. I recommend the spaghetti mascarpone and the tartare.
So some of the food is good and some of them are not. There's 2 is bad, first is tortellini and 2nd is pizza. My friend order the tortellini and she can't eat it because it's not good, i feel like it just same food we can buy in IGA or Metro. But the good one? The steak was very good and ravioli is awesome, mussels too. The service is good. The place? Is beautiful.
Good Italians restaurants are hard to find, most often they're all about the looks but not about the taste, this restaurant is one of the good one. Firstly, the portions of food are very generous, these days its rare to find such sizes, but nothing in excess, we don't want quantity over quality, but in their case quantity and quality was present. Furthermore, everything was cooked to perfection, the meat, the fish, the vegetables. It has become a rare occurrence for restaurant to be able to respect cooking temperatures of everything but none of that there . The lamb had a beautiful taste, it was not covered in oil, or anything you could fully taste the meat, I wouldn't be surprised if the lamb we had was fed grass, because I could almost taste it, it felt fresh. I personally love goat cheese, but most often if you order a dish with it, people barely put any in your food, but I was not disappointed. The plates were very colorful, and beautiful, with a beautiful balance of meat and carbs, and greens. My only minus, would be the potatoes but this is more a matter of personal taste, they were very nice and fluffy, and airy, but I prefer mine more dense, also the salmon could have benefitted from a bit of vegetables in addition to the risotto. Otherwise very nice experience. Regarding the bathrooms, they were acceptably cleaned, and bonus points for the hooks inside the stalls(good to put your coat or your purse.) Also , while I'm an avid dessert enjoyer, I think once you've had your meal, having a full dessert by yourself would be too much, so sharing it is recommended. The Tiramisu was good, maybe a tad too much cocoa powder on top, but otherwise nicely textures not overtly wet, but still very moist. Also, even after I was full I was still able to enjoy all the taste of every food I had which is a testament to the culinary expertise. For the people it may concern, you can bring your own wine. Our waiters was very amicable, we waited a little bit for our food but not that long, I encourage you to bring people you like and have a nice conversation before your meal, the setting was very pleasant. I didn't have this sort of "pristine" chic, where people worry how they should behave, the people inside the restaurant were dressed nicely, but still casually. I think this place would be nice for large groups, or semi-formal events. The interior design is slightly outdated, but it gives out this sort of nostalgic vibe. The menus were slightly dirtiest with wine ,but its proof of the "realness" of this restaurant. The tables are covered in a paper sheet, as opposed to a table cloth. I would consider this a great experience overall.
First all you can eat brunch of my life and I wasn’t deceived by the diversity and quality of the food we had access to. We went there to celebrate a friend’s birth day and we had a table at the mezzanine since we were 10 with a baby. I couldn’t try everything even if I wanted to but I’ll definitely come back since they change their menu to have more diversity. It might be expensive for some people but consider the fact that you go back to eat more and more. Taxes and tips included, I paid 72.72$ I loved the seafood salad and trust me, if you don’t cook or buy a certain type of meal, enjoy while you’re there! Cooks were very nice they can serve anything you want for your waffle, crepe or omelette I only wish they rinsed their fruits because I do with mine I saw the strawberries were not cleaned
The pasta is excellent. The plates are quite generous and the price is good for this type of restaurant.
$40 for a chicken pizza. I prefer frozen pizza than the pizza I ate today. The price does not match the quality of the food. I doubt the freshness of the food. My friends had pasta and the tomatoes werent fresh. The pasta wasnt good either. The price does not match the quality. We were so disappointed with the meal that no one had dessert.
Too many people talking loudly. If you want to intimidate him, reserve the special benches
Bring your own wine restaurant. What is Interesting. However, it is a little expensive ($9 for Caesar salad starter and $42 for veal parmesan with spaghetti). In itself its ok. The problem is the noise level. We were upstairs and my colleagues Apple watch alerted us to a noise level above 90db. Not the best place for a romantic dinner.
We go to portavino often but wr have our favorite waitress Benaf she is soo sweet and she gave us such a beautiful service and she is so kind I would say even the food is soo good because of het service
Bunting but delicious meal
Dough was good
Awesome service. The pasta, however, wasnt good. It was incredibly greasy, there were very few mushrooms, and it simply didnt taste good. Not to mention the high price. Ive had much better pastas for much cheaper at food courts. Extremely busy and loud as well. Would not return.
Greasiest pasta Ive ever had. I actually felt sick for hours afterwards
Our server Mathieu was extremely good and super funny. Very good food and atmosphere.
I was there for the Sunday brunch, which was ok, but I am going to be the one giving a low score for the lack of any lactose-free or vegan milk option. Probably the only remaining restaurant serving coffee with regular milk as the only choice. Dietary restrictions: They do not have any lactose-free or non-dairy milk
Very nice evening, special thanks to Cynthia. Very effective food #1 well done to the whole team!
Beautiful restaurant with nice atmosphere. The very personalized service was very appreciated. The place wasnt too noisy, which was good for hearing yourself talk. Special mention for the octopus as a starter which was delicious. Most people enjoyed their pasta meal. On the other hand, for the steak, it had a pronounced burnt taste and the presentation could have been improved on the majority of dishes.
Good pizza And as it is an AVV the bill is reasonable
Excellent, I recommend it, outstanding food and service
Great service from Rosie, lovely evening with my lover!
Great discovery! Sunday brunch with my friends and our children. The service and welcome are 10/10
Very good
Table d hôte menu = soup or salad, tea or coffee. I took from the table dhôte for $69 the Beef medallion and crab cake with squash puree (beef shoulder like filet mignon said the waitress!) NO! Lots of tension!! However, the crab cake was delicious. EXTREMELY noisy Friday evening. Do not go on a romantic date.
We were well received even though we had not booked for a group of 7. On the other hand, the food is really average. The risotto was very ordinary as were the mussels. The pizzas on the childrens menu were really way too big, no sense. We should at least be informed of the size when ordering.
Worst experience! Non-existent service, we had to clear our dishes, management who did not hesitate to send us away, old eraser stuck under plates. In short, for a group, it is very unlikely to recommend this restaurant for life!!! Best advice: go somewhere else and viiiiite.
Frankly, for the price, I felt ripped off. $70 plate with meat that tastes like overcooked tomatoes, lots of fat and cheap risotto that you would have thought was cooked in the microwave. We must stop relying on the bring your own wine appeal and offer quality to customers.
Some frozen pizzas are far better than the one I ate at this restaurant. Tell you how disgusted I was by the huge black hair discovered in my dessert. Definitely the last time I set foot in this restaurant!
We love the restaurant but especially the service with Cynthia! The best!! She is exceptional, treats us as if we were at her home and gives us the best suggestions! Experience it!! Thank you Cynthia!!
Went for lunch, its was the all you can eat Buffet and everything was cold and disgusting! Im not one to complain but when you Charge 50$/person it better be eatable! It had so many good reviews so I was very surprised how disgusting. Will never go there again!
I went there for Sunday lunch brunch. Terrible food at an exorbitant price: $125 for two people, difficulty getting a second cup of coffee, cold scrambled eggs, questionable tasting sausages, not fresh salmon, etc. On the other hand, the pastries were good, but when the rest of the meal remains on the stomach, the dessert experience is less pleasant.
Chain restaurant bring your own wine. We are more of a factory type here than a small restaurant. The number of seats is impressive. The noise that comes with it too. Menu at $75 (group) Starter our choice of carrot and bacon soup or Cesar salad Main dishes: shrimp (good and meaty) and garlic pasta (seriously lacking in seasoning) Ravioli (not lobster but braised beef) good. Microscopic crème brûlée for dessert or two small cannolis The experience was fortunately enhanced by the very good service.
I have absolutely nothing to say about the service. But the food was disappointing. The crab cake was filled with chili, which spoiled the taste of the crab a bit. My partner had a sausage starter. They were dry. Too bad they no longer make them in rounds. My filet mignon had to be medium rare. It arrived rare, almost raw.. the waitress was super nice and turned it over to adjust the cooking. Once back it was ok for the first 2 bites, but still raw afterwards. I left him lying around. The parmesan fries arrived without parmesan. Once told the waitress they were a little better but nothing extraordinary. At $69 for a regular filet mignon and fries, it s ordinary as hell! And what about the extra sauce which costs $9! Very disappointing as a first experience. It cost us a total of $188 and we even had to bring our own wine. You have to believe that this was not their specialty... very disappointing for the first time. Were not sure well go back :(
I loved the food, impeccable service but for me, honestly its big plates...but it doesnt matter, we take them home... If you have a good appetite and want to eat your fill and have good quality food, this is the place!
Brunch on Sunday
Get the Ravioli con Carne di Brasato, period. Also recommend the Gnocchi Gorgonzola, and for entrees the fried calamari, meatballs, or the garlic bread without bread Great service by experienced and kind servers, easy choice for a weekday night with BYOW Parking: Lots of parking, in the DIX30 area in front of the Mitsuki and close to the Adonis.
Pasta is impressively tasty.Pasta is cooked aldente. Service is very good despite them having a big group in one area. Ambiance is casual relax. Food
Very good and nice staff
I was really disappointed with the service. The waitress was aggressive and curt. She seemed discouraged when asked for more water or bread. When it was time to pay, she yelled at me because she wasnt happy with the tip I left her, refusing to give me my change back. Otherwise, the boy who took me my bread and water was very friendly and kind
Wow. Great service. Cynthia the little redhead was quick, efficient and attentive...best service ever. We should have more people like her. In the service. Too bad its not like that anymore. Well done and thank you again for your service Cynthia I highly recommend you all
The pasta is excellent and in very large quantities. Bring your own wine, so very good value for money. Beautiful chic atmosphere.
Very lovely place, food is delicious and worth the price. Extra care for details and menu variety. Servers are very sweet and patient. Vegetarian options: Vegan options Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Super good pasta, succulent soup and whats more its bring your own wine. The staff is super nice and the service is really good. We didnt taste the starters and things other than pasta but next time (because there wont be one) Im going to try lots of other things
Just wow
Its very simple for me, I have tried penne arabiata at MANY restaurants, however nobody beats porto vino in that dish!! Its well worth the $29, and the service, atmosphere is also excellent!! Bravo!! Porto vino dix 30.
Too noisy on the weekend
Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, we had a very pleasant time but we owe a lot of that to our waitress Valérie who was really very pleasant and competent
We had a great evening with a group of 35. We had Francis as a server and he demonstrated great professionalism. It met all our expectations. The dishes are a bit expensive, but the taste and quantity make it good.
Best italian food always!
We wanted me and my family to make a reservation and the lady told us we would not take a reservation on Saturday the same day Saturday took the road to go to the restaurant one of our family members told us that they only take reservations on Saturday or otherwise you have to wait until 8 p.m. so the employees dont even have their thing
Good fresh dough, good taste, big plate, good service by Cynthia, friendly and kind!
Super good meal (tortellini Con Pancetta) with a melted brisket!!! Really satisfied! But what we remember most is the excellent service from our waitress Cynthia who took great care of us throughout our meal!! The only negative point is that it is a little noisy. Thank you for everything Cynthia you added at least 1 and a half more stars just with the service.
BYOW Italian restaurant in Dix30. The bread was hard! 8$ for an ice cream? Thats 800% ridiculous profit! Food was ok, but nothing exceptional as advertised. Food : 4/5 |
Very disappointed with the manager, on several occasions they come back to us! We decided to go to the one in Laval or Lasalle as we are not welcome.
Cynthia impeccable service, beautiful atmosphere, great staff, great evening!!!
Super nice restaurant excellent atmosphere and what can I say about the food WOW!!! Don t forget to bring your bottle of wine
I ordered tortellini, very good. Remember this is a bring your own wine restaurant
Good atmosphere , table setup was nicely done , Service was exactly what fine-dining is. they were dressed neat and presentable. Now the food , you need to take someone special here, I had the amberoni Ai Pepe Pomodoro Semi Secchi, (it was a shrimp pasta dish) it was just perfect, sauce was amazing and the shrimp was 10/10 Definitely will be coming back. I had great experience
4 stars across the board. The food is good, but no one falls out of their chair either. The service is always good, the place is clean and comfortable. A good option is to bring your wine to the South Shore. A tad on the cherantic side, but not stealing either. I will return if invited.
Lots of potential but for the price I have to put a reservation. This could be a better example, $65 for a table dhôte pizza is exaggerated. The volume of the music was unstable and several times too loud. The service was OK but lacked finesse for the price paid; I have had better service in less expensive restaurants.
Good place for you
The restaurant is well located, right in the Dix30 district. The menu is very varied and offers a table dhôte with all the dishes (lunch only). The service is excellent. Bravo
This criticism is particularly aimed at the owners and the administration of Portovino de Brossard and not at the customers, although they deserve to be informed... Sunday August 11th we were a group of 4. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant. We have regularly been to the Portovino in Laval and even the one in Dorval before it closed and are therefore accustomed to what this name has to offer. Unfortunately, our service experience was terrible this evening with our server who turned out to be the manager according to his colleagues. A couple who finished their meal before us seemed to have this same experience who shared their comment with a lady in a black blouse who repeatedly had to make up for the blatant lack of professionalism of her colleague. Thank you to her and her colleagues who unfortunately have to compensate for this waiter/manager who is a disgrace in the world of hospitality. During our evening, our server (the manager) never welcomed us in a courteous manner, never validated if we were okay. We requested a change to one of the dishes. When he brought the meals, he had forgotten and therefore had to correct this error (change the type of accompaniment). Once the bill was received, the accompanying substitute was billed when he should not have been and he had indeed made this mistake from the start. He therefore had to correct this overload again. After more than 15 minutes of sitting without service or approach, we had to wave for service. In no time did he open our bottles of wine. Luckily I had a bottle opener, so I had to open them myself. At no time did he offer an ice bucket for our bottles of white wine. At 3 rehearsals, we had to ask to have our water glasses refilled. At 3 rehearsals we had to ask for coffee. And again at 3 rehearsals, we had to ask for the bill. Again, it was thanks to one of his colleagues that I informed him that we had finally got him. Fortunately our honesty because we could easily have left the place without paying so much that our server (the manager) was careless, nonchalant and unprofessional. He didnt really care about us. While serving the table, a sauced pepper fell from a plate onto my shirt. He acted as if nothing had happened. When it was time to pay, we stressed our dissatisfaction and explained the reason why we left him no tip (sorry to your colleagues if these are shared). His only response was that it didnt change anything for him because with 1000 customers per evening, its not our tip that will make a difference in his pockets. So here I am now with my review of this individual. Never even once has this individual who wants to be the manager demonstrated empathy, admitted his wrongs and tried to make our experience positive. Several of his colleagues seem to say that this is routine on his part, and were even rather embarrassed. Too bad he didnt share that feeling with them. Does this individual represent the new standards of service and management of Portovino? If this is the case, I find it very unfortunate. The food was very good but as you see, here is how the impact of poor service can ruin everything and harm the experience of your guests. And this is why we will never come to your restaurant again. To the administration and owners of this brand, if you care about having a company that cares about its customers, I very strongly invite you to reconsider this individual who clearly does not seem to be made to work in the field of hospitality and look out for your best interests. There are far too many choices of restaurants to stick to a place that doesnt care about serving its customers well.
A true delight
Generous portion and delicious
Very good value for money.
My corner of choice
Very good even excellent
Decent food but extremely expensive because we are far from refined cuisine! The pasta was good but nothing exceptional for $35. The pizza is extremely disappointing in terms of the dough.... Beautiful pizza of very generous size, well garnished, but the crust is really very ordinary. The service is OK, nothing more... No one came to check if everything was okay with us during the meal. Obviously, its a restaurant with little atmosphere, its quite noisy....
Very busy restaurant. I had a salmon tartare for a meal for which I only had 2 bread croutons. I had to ask for more. The fries were dry and overcooked. I usually go there for brunch and not for dinner. My partner had a spaghetti Bolognese which didnt taste much. Im going to stick to brunch only, because dinners are too expensive for unpopular food.
Too expensive. Fortunately we win because it s a bring your own wine
I had it delivered and I have nothing to say about the delivery reason. I ordered a spaghetti Bolognese and I didnt see any meat in my sauce but there were lots of pieces of tomatoes. Very disappointed!!
Very large restaurant. First impression in the toilets its been a long time since the sinks were scrubbed thoroughly when we arrived which gives a strange impression. The chairs are sticky to the back. The glasses are poorly washed. Bread crumbs on the plate before receiving anything. The food is correct without exaggeration, the flavors are not present. Bread and water service kindly offered. Our server was attentive. Im a huge fan of Italian restaurants so my expectations are high, especially at the price paid. Bring your own wine is the positive. Parking: Very large
This is bring your own wine with an extensive menu. They also have an excellent brunch but you must reserve Wheelchair accessibility: Available parking
Our server Francis was really great and patient!!! The atmosphere at our table was heavy given the discord among the guests, he managed to make the experience pleasant despite everything. June 21, 2024!! Francis hat xxx
Fairly high prices.
Its no longer like before...change of ownership which has degraded everything?
Legit , Paula was so nice and efficient . I didn t really know what to get but she took the time to explain a lot of items on the menu, and I ended up loving the food and experience here !
Delicious at a reasonable price. Generous portion, perfect for a group we were there for a dinner where there is not a crowd very pleasant for conversation Parking: At Dix 30, very easy
Unfortunately really too noisy its cacophonous....normal on a Friday evening full of people and it speaks loudly but we skipped coffee dessert to be able to rest our ears
Very much enjoyed the special lobster menu!
So we booked for my partners birthday. There were 20 of us, calling to book was very easy. It is possible to book online but the number of people is limited to 10. I realize we were a large group, and the restaurant was packed. Our waitress introduced herself, talked about the menu and let us know she was available for any questions we had. Our starters arrived quickly and were excellent. Here is the only downside for our evening, the main courses were long overdue. Everything was delicious but the delay was long Once the main course was served, everything happened with the usual delays. Our reservation was at 6 a.m. and we left the restaurant at 9 a.m.
Very friendly staff! Great service. Food was amazing and delicious, but expensive. Very very loud atmosphere though
Amazing staff and service! Food is very yummy and reasonably priced.
Generous portions. I couldnt finish it all and was debating what I would finish and what I would leave. Even the garlic mashed potatoes were to die for. It was very noisy (Saturday early evening ), which made it difficult to talk to people sitting across the table from you. A generous dessert was offered to share for a memorable birthday dinner.
The service is good. On the other hand, the dishes are not good: pizza, pasta, ceviche. Prices are expensive. I do not recommend this restaurant. I did the one in Laval and Brossard. I have the same opinion for Portovino restaurants. Cafeteria atmosphere
I had the rigatoni al salsicca (sausage and rigatoni) the sausage, which oddly enough is all minced and chopped up. I honestly thought I got the wrong dish. The sauce had a decent flavor nothing fancy, already I find it lacked sausage, and though I was full, it was overpriced. My soon had a childrens pizza for 15$ which I believe that was worth it. I wouldnt go back. But the service from our waitress was impeccable. But for the price point and food quantity, I wouldnt go back.
The restaurant was understaffed so the food took a very long time to arrive.
Group of 14 people. Every single dish was excellent and served hot. Great food choices. Would definitely go back to try all of their dishes....
We went to a wedding and the service was great! Food tasty and good space for events. We could take pictures and we all had a nice time and enjoyed to see our happy newlyweds
There are few all you can eat brunches in the south shore. Portovino is one. Quite a wide range of food for $60/per person at this time of writing.
Food was OK but definetly overpriced. Waitress was fine but didnt come to check on us during the meal and the place was half empty
Our reservation was on Mothers Day naturally we expect to wait a little longer given the event, the server was very courteous and helpful. The management was poor for more than 2 hours to receive our main dishes. I dont think Ill go back there.
Very very very loud. We had a party of eight and could barely hear each other. Food good and generous portions. Not for a couples night out.
Good food a little noisy.. Clean and the service is very good Jovial and welcoming
Lunch menu portions over priced and too large for a single person. Deserts are not fresh. Service is excellent in any case. Food
It was a great experience and had a wonderful.
Birthday dinner this Saturday, April 27, 2024. I really appreciated the service. Our host Mathieu was super nice, as were his companions who served in our section. Fast service and always done with exemplary courtesy. Very difficult to have a conversation, as it is very noisy.
Our server Samuel, special mention for the quality of service
A1 its worth the price, I dont go to brunch anywhere else since I discovered Portovino a few years ago.
The food was good the optupus appetizer was great.
Great for groups Fantastic service Food
It was a group event, the group menu was amazing, big portions and delicious .
Very beautiful and good place to treat yourself to a dinner that is worth your money. Excellent
We liked the service, the cuisine and the atmosphere.
Great food, good service. The environment is very beautiful. We went for Sunday brunch, it was super crowded around noon. Parking at DIX 30. Make a reservation in advance. Vegetarian options: Scrambled eggs, lots of cheese, good options of vegetables and salads.
A bring your own nice wine! The food was good but the most impressive thing was the service! We were a group of 40 and everything happened at once! I The price was a little high but the portions were very generous! Vegetarian options: Several pastas.
Wow, attentive staff, speaking several languages, we were impressed by the professionalism of the servers! Special mention to Isabelle Vasseur for her kindness!
Its a good restaurant but I havent been there lately
Although I have always liked this restaurant, today there were 5 of us who had a lobster pizza, we waited a very long time and the pieces of lobster were almost non-existent. $130 for two cheese pizzas + our wine is ridiculous.
Very nicely decorated place with good Italian food, and some not so italian. Service was friendly and at a reasonable pace for a Saturday 7-8pm with a full place. Price wise is more on the higher end, but I can say we got our money s worth and we were stuffed ! It lost one star because of the accoustics of this place. When full and everybody speaks at their tables, it gets very cacophonic and noisy loud. I got the impression I was at a Cabane à sucre with ppl watching a hockey game. So that kinda threw my whole experience side ways a bit
Everything was excellent!!! The sunday brunch has options for all kinds of persons. Simply loved!!! Food : 5/5
A bit expensive for lunch.
Wonderful Seafood Risotto
Very good food and services. Good ambiance.
This place has more fruit flies than flavour. Extremely over priced and underwhelming food. Had the veal parmesan, the meat was insanely thin, tasteless and obviously not fresh. Again, sooooo many fruit flies... In the winter no less. Our entire table was swatting away fruit flies the entire time. Dissapointing.
the Caesar salad served without bacon only crouton and sauce quite cheap
Super good service.....excellent meal....
Great scam!! too expensive for what it is!!! bland food!!!!! nothing extra from starter to dessert..1st and last time!!
Great place , often visited for work dinners. Staff are always in point and the food is overall good.
Group of 50 with another group of 40 next to us from different party...a little tight space wise, a little long for food to get served but for a Saturday evening with a full house Id say it was still a good experience...if we had had more space to mingle Id have given 4.5 but still a fun time with some good food and attentive staff.
For the 2nd year a good brunch for Easter and always very satisfied. Thank you
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available Food
My third time at Easter brunch twice before the pandemic and yesterday March 31st very disappointed firstly a 3/4 hour to eat for $55 per person its not too relaxing. Secondly everything was delicious but with the plates that lacked washing and drying not very appetizing I took plates with pieces of salad stuck in the plate and not wiping so putting food on a plate all soaked is not appetizing. In terms of service, we had to ask our waiter 3 times for coffee, but he was always there to remind us that we had to leave the table by 1:45 p.m. These brunches were great before the pandemic but yesterday very disappointed to have paid top dollar to find someone to wipe my plate and asked several times for water and coffee
It s mass food, but underneath it has the quality of a good boui-boui! . It s not a joke when we point out that we can t hold a conversation at 4 as the noise level is above the maximum! . A Caesar salad, very cold, which only had the name... The so-called specialty of the house, osso bucco (we specify the veal with ai...its wrong that evening it was with grain-fed veal or the chef really failed in his cooking ) we should give a little training in the kitchen . The portion is monstrous, see the photo a single shank but in one case probably more than 650g. The Milanese rice served, on the side, lukewarm almost room temperature, we did not eat it because it had little or no creaminess. One of us had the margherita pizza, it was okay. The bread was excellent. The restaurant packed our table to leave a path for service. Throughout the evening I had to check my back, on one occasion someone actually hit my shoulder while passing and on three others they kicked my chair... It s a factory where at the end they bring us a tray of dessert to make a sensation. A tray that sits on a counter seen when going to the toilet . We knew we werent going to a gourmet restaurant but its an exaggeration to serve people like that...the people who provided the service were very nice but that doesnt make up for such an outing to a restaurant these days. PS three different photos, three dishes Parking: It s a gigantic parking lot for a group of businesses.
I wont go back, its expensive for not much!
Good service but our meals were very very bad, it was very disappointing
Very noisy
VERY busy and noisy, but the food is amazing! We need branches elsewhere in Quebec, it s really a favorite for us.
Noisy but good
It s so good, that we made this restaurant one of the best. Plus, we bring the wine.
We went to a private group dinner with our twins. Towards the end of the meal, one of the babies started crying. The waiter,SAMUEL came twice, disrespectfully warned us and had a rude, uncaring expression. This is the first time Ive encountered or heard of something like this. I will not take this step again and definitely do not recommend it.
Good service but a little expensive for disappointing spinach manicotti. Delicious canollis.
The lunch menu is excellent and at a good price...we can also bring our own wine! Excellent service...
Food was excellent! Excellent service! Hoghly recommeni
Excellent service and fast, even with the traffic this afternoon. The waitress is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
Duck risotto
Use of a lot of spices, a lot, a lot. The restaurant on the other hand is very eco-friendly, its cacophonous, a little headache when leaving. Flawless service.
Restaurant gave us a group reservation for 21h on a Saturday, the service was so slow we finished eating at 23h when there was nobody in the restaurant, there was small flies, flying around the food on our table.
Very detailed oriented staff and caring! Would go again in a heart beat!
Very good service and good food
The size of the dessert became a half of what it used to be.
I would love...
Beautiful large, busy restaurant, we were a gang of former colleagues, and so we were a little noisy but we werent disturbed and the waitresses even took photos of us. The nice thing is that its BYOB. But its expensive in my opinion e.g. $8 for a small fries, and I ordered a pizza which in the end was not very special for a restaurant of this caliber. And Im not picky in general.
Large area such as large cafes. The quality/price challenge, so sought after in these difficult times of catering, is an example. Recommended to book for more than three people. My first time, and Im going back.
Together with a friend, I have been to your Restaurant quite often in the past. Always have we been greated and served by a very friendly and courteous gentleman. However yesterday, we had a a female server! From the start something went wrong. She opened our wine and poured both glasses as if, it was water. I asked, can I try it first? She just said, well if its bad I cant give it back to the SAQ. A bottle with a cork, you always have the customer tryit before pouring other glasses! That is, if you know your job as a waiter! As for the meal, it was good.
Excellent service from Cynthia last week. Great welcome and customer service. My entre-cote on the table dhôtes was on point. Many thanks for the recommendation to Cynthia!
The quality of the food was excellent, just that I went hoping to find more variety.
great service from Olivier good food to discover or return
Excellent restaurant. Although we ate very well, the price of the dishes increased. This is why I didnt give it 5 stars. This restaurant can accommodate a lot of customers and unfortunately there is a lot of noise. We still had a great time as a family. Everything was good. Luckily you can bring your own wine. Very good service without waiting too long between courses. There were 2 services for Saturday evening. Choice of chairs or benches.
We were a group of 40 people celebrating an 18th birthday. We took the group menu. The staff was very nice and the service was excellent.
Absolutely delicious!
Always good. A classic.
