When I want fast, efficient service and good quality food, I come to Mon Ami. I have never been disappointed with my experience during my numerous visits. I recommend! My go to place for great service, fast and delicious meals. Been there many times and never disappointed. I recommend!

Food was okay, but service was IMPECABBLE, the server who took care of our table, Yijun, was very professional and made us feel like home, very attentive and patient when taking orders and asked us multiple times if we needed anything. He even tried to refuse tip when we offered him a large amount, such a humble employee! He should recieve a raise, never in my entire life have I seen an employee as dedicated to the quality of service. Would come back definitely because of the service.

The worst service ever. I work as a chef for over 20 yrs, over 30 different restaurants and hotels. But i have never seen a waitress this bad. We were family of 4 served by a very rude big waitress on a Monday evening. We asked for all you can eat bbq. It was our first time in this place. So far, not a word from her, not even a hello. I asked her how the bbq works, (there was no stove/grill on the table like other bbq restaurants). She replied, use QR code*. Thats all we heard from her till we left. No questions on drinks, no water on the table. When asked, she simply brings water, not a word, and leaves. There were 1 table done eating, 1 couple eating à la carte and our table. ** food was good for the price we paid, cheaper side but good. **you need to use your phone every time you need to order items, like 4-6 times. No hygiene at all. Would prefer pen and paper. But it wasnt anything compared to the service. **I still tipped 15%, since I am from the same industry. But we will never ever return to this place. At least a hello, thank you and goodnight to your clients.

The little experience that he had in a restaurant, we do not have all the hot dishes, I have poor service from the side of the table, the manager has no French and says that we are responsible for them if they have poor service. This is the worst service I have ever had, the plates are cold and the service from the management and employees is not appropriate. The manager doesnt speak French so we really cant communicate with them. Really disappointed with their service.

Probably once of the best kimchi fried rice Ive had. Great tasting flavor and the meat so tender. The wonton soup, though is a different story. Tastes and looks dull so didnt bother include a picture.

Im giving 3 stars because I havent eaten there and cant judge the food. There were few people and the hostess placed us next to a disgusting, filthy pole. Of all the places there were we were placed next to this dirty pole... We just decided to leave.

Ive never been this sick and disappointed and frustrated at the same time in a restaurant. I went there for lunch a Sunday at 12:30 for the all you can eat BBQ with a friend. First, we were the only table and the dishes took forever to come out. When it did come out, they got the order wrong in term of quantity and most of them were missing. Second, the things that arrived were bad. The beef, octopus and others were stinky. It was clearly not fresh and even got a very bad stomach ache. Third, the service was very bad and inexistant. We cant even choose the percentage of tips to give since they set the minimum at 15% on the machine. 45-50$/personne for LUNCH with meat that were bad and got us sick? Ill never recommend or come back.

The kimchi deserves a special mention it was tangy, spicy, and addictive. And the spicy crunch chicken drumsticks and wings crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. I don t understand why Mon Ami can sell me the whole burnt Kimchi pancake for me. Because it s takeout food, they think I can t find it.

The soup and the spicy chicken were way too salty. After I took one bite I asked them whether they could remake it or change the order, but they simply told me no and were not helpful.

The food was good. It came hot. The waitress was very kind and nice. Her service was good but he overall service from the restaurant was not great. We did not receive our food at the same time. The appetizers came after the main meal. There was a 30 minute gap between the first person receiving their meal and the last people getting it. We were a group of 6. The table was also very sticky. The place is not clean. We also did not receive everything that we ordered. When we asked about it, they told us that they did not have any anymore. This was at least an hour since we had placed our order. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available. Parking: The parking lot is very small and the spots are narrow. There are spots on the street just in front of the parking lot.

Korean restaurant run by Chinese... not tasty Korean food I dont know if the table was wiped with a rinse aid that wasnt washed, but it was stickier and more unpleasant than before. The table smelled like a rag. Even considering that there are not many Korean restaurants overseas and the taste is inferior to local restaurants, it is not good. No matter how much I miss Korean food, I just buy frozen food or hold back. Its a shortcut that Ill regret spending money on because I dont think Ill eat it here.

Best korean AYCE in Brossard. The prices for the AYCE are pretty high but the à la carte menu is more reasonable. The flavor and freshness of the food is great and the service is fast, the place is slightly cramped however. Overall, a great spot to eat lots of good korean food.

Went on last Monday. Services are good but food is just so-so. Weird smell in the washroom - not sure why there s a curtain hanging on the washroom door. It is recommended to have it removed to provide better air circulation. Generally an ok restaurant.

When I take Uber, the drivers always tell me to go to this restaurant. The quantity is not bad, but the pepper taste is too strong. Spicy flavor can be achieved in a variety of ways, but this time it is served with pepper. I also ordered and tried Gamjatang, and it seemed to be based on tteokbokki soup. The familiar taste of tteokbokki in gamjatang soup. And with the spicy pepper added, the taste honestly tastes like Andromeda. Its close to fusion. To be honest, I dont think this is worth the money for Koreans tastes. I dont think the snacks are bad, but its a bit expensive to pay a few thousand won for rice cake skewers.

This Korean restaurant is indeed genuine. The fried chicken tastes very good and delicious. The BBQ quality is fresh and diverse. It is great value for money. In short, it is worth trying Recommended

We love the food here, but so sadly the delay for pick up is extremely long . We ordered online at around 4:30 and pick up time was 5:15, we arrived on time but the lady said need to wait a bit and it s ok, we understand the busy dinning time. But end up, we pick up our bag at 6:30, waited 2 hours (more than 1 hour at the restaurant)!! The worst of this situation is we met another costumer who ordered at 5:00 and got his order before us!!

This place was my favorite Korean bbq restaurant. I went there for my party and we had the Korean BBQ buffet for 5 people. We waited 20 minutes to get our order, several items were missing. No one came to check on us to make sure everything was okay. There was no fork available for a child throughout our dinner, not even a plastic one (child mentioned when booking). Afterwards we waited another 1 hour for another round of foods which was a bit random?? We were still missing a lot of what we ordered. Finally, in the last 30 minutes, we finally received the lettuce and kimchi to wrap with our meat... To give back to Cesar what is Caesars, when there was food on our table, it tasted good. At this point we decided to pay and leave. We were missing half of what we ordered. Again, no staff came to check on us. Suffice it to say, I now need to find myself another favorite Korean restaurant. Used to be my favorite korean bbq. Went there for my birthday, took the all you can eat BBQ for 5. It took 20 min for the first incomplete order to come. Nobody ever came to ask us if everything was okay. They didnt have any fork available for my kid. Took another hour for some random food to show up. In the last 30 min they finally brought out the lettuce and kimchi so we could wrap our food... I have to give it to them, while there was food at our table, it was good. But at this point, we just paid and left. Mind you, we were still missing at least half the thing we ordered. Again no staff ever came by. Suffice to say, now I have to find myself another Korean restaurant.

Very disappointing. I went with friends and we were all disappointed. We had the grill as much as we wanted. It was cold in the restaurant, we had to ask for utensils and the ones they brought us were all dirty, the dishes were cold, we asked several times for water, we had to wait several times 30min for not even receiving our entire order. We received a few desserts, not everything we had ordered, and after another 20 minutes of waiting we left exhausted. When we were paying, our fried chicken wings, onion rings and rolls arrived -_- we didnt eat our fill because we were tired of waiting. really very disappointing for the price! I definitely wont go back there.

I have been several times with friends, the service gradually deteriorates. We ordered the same dishes several times and we received nothing or not even half of our orders after 1/2 hour of waiting each time. When we received dishes, most of them were cold. You always had to ask for water (a small carafe for 6 people). For the price of the barbecue, we barely ate anything and left disappointed. We wont come back

EN/ES Overall it was okay, the highlight is the kimchi Bibimbap, good portion and tasty, not so spicy, we liked it. The seafood pancake was a bit too greasy and a little mushy but still it was a very nice portion. The veggie dumplings were good! Nice and crispy, so I would recommend. Ordered by Uber Eats, so maybe eating at the spot is better, will try it other time - It was good, what we liked the most was the kimchi Bibimbap, it was delicious, not too spicy and a good portion. The seafood pancake was a bit cakey and very greasy, we didnt like it that much but the portion was very good. Finally the dumplings were very delicious, they were made of pure vegetables so in terms of flavor thats what they taste like, but in consistency they were crunchy and rich. We ordered through Uber Eats, maybe eating on site would be better, I recommend it

Disappointed with my visit there. Slow service, mistakes in orders, bad communication. Doesnt compare well to the other Korean BBQ places. Prices are unjustified for what you get, since the service being so slow doesnt assure you that you wont leave hungry even after 2 hours of being there.

Service is extremely slow so even if its all you can eat, you wont have time to eat a lot. The restaurant was not full and itncould take 40min between each order so no time to reorder food you liked. A lot of mistakes in the orders.Compared to other korea bbqs, the food was also very bland and did not taste authentic.

Staff is very kind. Helped us with our choices for KBBQ. They offered to change the grill without us asking.

Food is amazing, the portions are large and the prices are fair. Their korean bbq is super fun and delicious but beside that I strongly recommend ; Bibimpap Korean sushi with bulgogi Korean milk bread (dessert) The staff is super nice. I have eaten there maybe 6 times (diner in and take out, on a date and in a larger group) and I always have a great experience. I strongly recommend it.

Cold inside restaurant

They have SO options, it was hard to choose what to get. We also asked if the food was Halal and they said it was!! I would definitely recommend this place. A+++

We had a not pleasant experience. First, inside was very cold, ( I should say it was one the coldest day) but anyway they failed to warm inside. Second, Each order take about 30 minutes and no one was there except our group. It is bizarre because I dont understand how bringing raw food take that much time. Finally it is overpriced for the quality. Bad experience!!! Not recommended!!!

Went to Mon Ami yesterday with my young son and my husband. He has been missing Korean fried chicken something terrible since moving to Canada. Compared to many of the other places weve tried - he was so happy with the quality and taste of the spicy and sweet chicken. Will definitely return for the chicken and recommend to others who need their dose of Korean Fried Chicken. Parking: Lots of spaces available on the side of the building - with a clear view from the inside of the dining room. Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs for little ones and the staff were accommodating - in providing us with scissors and extra cups to make lunch with a toddler that much easier. They also gave him a little lolly after lunch that he was ecstatic about.

The service could be better. We would order food, and not all of it would come. Wed have to order again or tell the waitress directly who barely understood English and French. She would still forget. Besides that the food was very good, we ate a lot and we were satisfied. I will say that if you order the pumpkin salad youll get something that looks like a ball of ice cream that tastes like sweet potatoes. It was still very good. The place wasnt full, so we were lucky to have a spot knowing it was Valentines Day. In terms of atmosphere, it was nice. What made it better was the diversity of K-pop songs they had playing.

Dirty and unprofessional .

I recommend this restaurant. I always get the same thing: plain breaded chicken. A massacre and all those who tasted it are unanimous. In addition we have a 10% discount when we order on their site.

This place is similar to a fast food experience. You order something on a menu and its quickly made. The waiting time was around 5 minutes until we got to a table. The place wasnt crowded at all. We went there on a sunday afternoon though. The service was sufficient and fast. What surprised us was the food we ordered. It was half cold, half warm The bottom rice was warm but the pork was kind of cold. Since we were never asked if anything was okay, we never had the chance to ask if it was normal or not.

The original Mon Ami in Montreal was quite delicious, but as they expanded with more franchises scattered across the region, I havent been able to see consistency in quality. The japchae was a bit too salty, the bibimbap, on the contrary, was a bit bland. Still pretty good if youre in the area, but unfortunately not my first choice for Korean food.

It was my first time eating on Mon Ami and I had an excellent experience. All the dishes were awesome. I Recommend corn cheese and Ramen. Definitevely will be one of my favorite restaurants.

*2023 update: Place has been going downhill in quality. Many better options have opened up on the South Shore.* tasty food at a good price. You definitely have to try the classic fried chicken when you go there. Worth a detour. The dipping sauces area great too. I liked getting the bulgogi. You have the option of having them cook it for you if you dont like cooking it yourself at the table. Portions are big, so you definitely want to go with a group. If you are 2 or less, I would consider ordering one dish at a time. The staff is young but they are friendly and they do their job well. There is a parking lot, but its pretty small so keep that in mind. They take debit and credit. Takeout is available.

K pop music a little too strong in the long run but in good taste. A little expensive but delicious Vegetarian options: There are vegetables but for real a vegetarian will have no pleasure

Amazing Korean food!!! Fried chicken was killer good. Best fried Dumplings, Bibimbap and all dishes we had along with the service was amazing. Ian was great and you couldn t ask for better service! Will come again.

If you can eat a lot of meat their all you can eat BBQ meal is good in value. Otherwise it is relatively pricey (no more free soft drink). Their a la carte is not bad. Fried chicken is good (crispy outside ok moisted inside). Seafood pancake is better than I expected. It has enough ingredients not just thick batter. Price is normal (Korean food standard). Ate on Thursday night and it was not busy. Food was served fast and hot

This was probably the most authentic korean food ive had on the south shore, maybe even Montreal. We had the garlic and soy fried chicken wich was tender and flavorful. We also had the beef hot pot soup and the noodle were so good! everything came with a side of rice kimchi, wakame and some sort of marinated radish i think? and the kimchi was better than any store bought. we also had some rice cake, wich was good, not too spicy. Everything was given in big portion and for all we had, it really wasnt so expensive.

There is a dried fish above the doorway, we learned about this new tradition.

The fried chicken is amazing here. I personally recommand the Mala and garlic soy sauces. Never disappointed

Taste good but its undercook...and this is not a first time, I found 3 pieces of chicken undercook this time.... Its really delicious, so I buy chicken, but every time I order it, the chicken comes out undercooked, and this time, several pieces are a sea of blood.. . I think youre using too big a piece, but I think itll be cooked just fine if you cut it in half... I posted the most cooked one as a picture. I wonder if it has a role..

The food is very good but the staff sometimes mixes up the orders and either there is missing food or there is excess that we did not order, a bit of a lack of communication in the kitchen. The good humor of the staff makes up for it all!

Leurs poulets frits est un pur délice, de plus il est sur le menu à volonté. Nous avons essayé le BBQ à volonté et nous avons été impressionné par tout les produits proposés. Tout était très bon. Jy retourne assurément très prochainement. La panure de tout les aliments frit est tout simplement incroyable. Vive le poulet frit à volonté!!

Love the atmosphere of the all-you-can-eat! Fairly simple and fast service! Brought family from New Orleans and they were impressed! Quality food, quality time! The staff is very nice! Wish they could be more attentive with the water jug refill but they were busy that day.
