Parfait restaurant! Sans prétention mais exécution parfaite et créativité sont au rendez-vous. Sans parler du service chaleureux et la fierté du personnel. Coup de coeur particulièrement pour les crevettes pil-pil et le poulet caramel et fromage de chèvre. Le vin maison est également excellent et les desserts accompagnés de thé à la menthe couronne à merveille.

Excellent restaurant! We had several dishes and none of them disappointed us. Starter of vegetable soup and mushroom puff pastry. The chicken tagine was excellent as well as the fish of the day. The owner strives to offer a different and original fish every week, for us it was sea bass. Warm and pleasant welcome, quality cuisine prepared by caring and passionate people. I recommend!

Always a great experience. The welcome is warm (you would think you were arriving at the home of very welcoming friends). The food is, as always, excellent and generous. Go there without hesitation, you will not be disappointed. Their snails as a starter are a delight, its worth adding them to your bill. The mushroom puff pastry, salad, pastilla, chicken with mushrooms, fish of the day and rack of lamb were simply delicious.

DELICIOUS in every way! Camal (if I spelled the owner/chefs name correctly) and his wife were simply charming and very welcoming. The price of the table d hôte is extremely reasonable. For the quality of the dishes (starter, main course and dessert) I would have paid much more in many other restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

The best shrimp and the best sauce I ve ever eaten in my life! My partner got fish of the day, which is perfectly cooked with a nice crispness on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The price is super reasonable and affordable. The three course meal was amazing, with excellent mushroom feuillete as the entry, the main course of choice, and homemade dessert. Everything was extremely delicious and made with care and love. I will be coming back for sure.

Lovely restaurant hidden away in a little strip mall. Food was delicious, service excellent, 5 stars all around. Lamb and fish plates were delicious. Table dhôte includes salad/soup and dessert. Full bar. Chef/owner even came out to chat with each table. Definitely worth return visits to try other items.

I discovered this wonderful little place. The welcome was really pleasant and we felt comfortable. Even the cook came to see us to explain the menu and to welcome us. The dishes are exquisitely cooked. The vegetables are cooked to perfection. There are flavors that we couldnt find elsewhere. The sauce for the lamb shank dish was very original, the dish was very tender and had a special taste. Everything was excellent, not to mention the service, the atmosphere and the attention we received. I was very surprised by the taste of the crème brûlée dessert, it has a little touch of caramel, coffee can even be a little chocolatey. This little restaurant is a little gold mine if you want to eat well without it costing you too much. Plus, it s very cozy . Since then I have been back a few times. The cook is very open-minded about the dishes he prepares. He is ready to make you happy at all times. His passion makes this place a success. Found this place by chance and what a blessing! This place is a hidden gem in Broussard and Montreal. It s not often you find a place where the chef genuinely cares about each and every dish he makes and that shows in the service and quality of the food. The food was not only a golden balance of flavors but also textures and with such precision the first bite will make you dance! I had the pleasure of tasting the chicken tajine which is a must get, don t even think about it. The aroma and flavor of the olives and lemon in the dish were so pronounced yet clean and complemented the tender chicken thigh perfectly. The couscous royale is also a treat with tender chunks of beef and a lightly spicy beef sausage, the couscous is cooked authentically which many fail to make correctly but here it is done perfectly leaving it light and fluffy while still grabbing all the sauce from the meat. I also tried the mousse made with mascarpone and it is a perfect way to end the meal as it is not too sweet, light and tangy it cleanses and cleans the palette well, if I recall correctly it also has a touch of mint which also a layer of freshness that s appreciated and really brings the dessert full circle. The crème brûlée I tasted a spoon full from my partner and almost cleaned the plate, creamy and sweet! We ended our meal with the Moroccan tea and were transported to back to the days we visited! The chef was friendly and so were the staff their warm hearts, smiles and hospitality left a great impression on us and this place is now a regular for us when we are in Montreal. Despite coming in near closing time everything was still available for us. I almost forget to mention this place is very reasonably priced I was surprised the amount of food and quality I would have expected to pay double for it and gladly so! TLDR: come here and eat! Very rude and rude staff. I came with a big bag which I placed at the entrance so as not to bother anyone. The waitress came and looked at me in a disdainful manner and told me that tables must be reserved in advance in this restaurant even though they are clearly empty. Madame didnt like my big bag which didnt bother anyone. I went to another restaurant where I was properly served and I had a good evening. I wanted to try this restaurant but after this incident I will never go there again. Maybe the food is good but the staff leaves something to be desired. He needs a lesson in good manners and respect from others. Humanly its a zero point. I ended up spending my money elsewhere at another restaurant and didnt lose anything.

Great restaurant, in an inconspicuous location. Dont bother with your tuxedo, and go as you are. Family restaurant where the owner is present. Would be nice if the lighting was lower with a candle for those of us that are still in love. Would go there again, in a heartbeat. Parking: Close to highway.

I was disappointed with the royal couscous, I was expecting something more sophisticated and more meat inside. It looked like an ordinary couscous with vegetables and chicken drumstick. However the small starters were good.

Owners Kamal and Yasmina provide attentive and personalized service. The restaurant has a lovely family atmosphere. The food is careful, perfect seasoning and rich flavors. The $30 table d hôte is a bargain. We will come back for sure!

I went to the Méridional with my family during lunch time during the week and we were very well received. The food was excellent, very fresh and plentiful. I highly recommend.

Most main dishes come with salad or soup and dessert. We had the lamb and the chicken tagine. The mains were tasty though all served with exactly the same potatoes and vegetables. The soup was a cream of vegetables with coconut and ginger, and the salad was described to us as a Vietnamese salad with mango and lettuce. I thought they were tasty but I would have preferred something more Moroccan/Mediterranean. The other option was a puff pastry with mushroom sauce. Given the price, I would have preferred fresh mushrooms to canned mushrooms. The desserts offered were mascarpone mousse or caramel flan. Again, both were tasty but we would have liked to have some options more Moroccan. So overall, although we had a good experience, the menu is more French so if we want something more Moroccan, we would look elsewhere.

I wish our neighbourhood had a restaurant like this- everything from pleasant ambiance to absolutely delicious food and great wine was first class, and for very affordable budget. Chef Kamal personally welcomed guests in the dining room and made special GF crust for my fish, recommended dessert (fantastic cream brûlée !). His Moroccan tea was a very special finishing touch to our meal!

Either appetizer +$5 (puff pastry & dessert) or Main dish including puff pastry & dessert is so delicious, the chef and his wife plus the waitresses are very good attendant as well, the restaurant is not big but the ambience is warm and cozy. Five of us had a wonderful dinner with a bottle of wine. This is the first time we dined there definitely won t be last time, will share with friends.

We love this restaurant, the whole staff is amazing and the food is delicious. My grandmother is very hard to please and it s the only place she cleans her plate. Very welcoming little restaurant with charming people to serve us excellent and not very expensive food

No respect for guests food allergies. I went there on Valentines Day for a romantic dinner. We tell the waitress that my girlfriend is allergic to peppers. There was chili in all the dishes we were served. The employees and even the chef told us that they put spices everywhere... Not only was she only able to eat a little salad, she went into anaphylactic shock due to ingesting chili peppers in the parking lot after the meal.

This is a hidden gem in Brossard and in Montreal. The ambience is nice and the food is very good, very European with a touch of exotic. The wine list is good and the food price is very very friendly. And the owners takes time to talk and explain everything you want to know about their cuisine. They told us there is a belly dancing performance every 2 weeks. Be sure to try the Table dhôte with Grilled Salmon with Pate Mille Feuille and Soupe du Jour as entrée. We sure will come back.

The star Im giving is because of the owner of the restaurant... The worst customer service Ive had in my life. the woman has no class and its a shame. The food was good but for the service that was given it wasnt worth it. I dont recommend the place.

Worst service of my life entered the restaurant at 6 a.m. exited at 10.30 p.m. with no coffee offered, no dessert offered. Very good food on the other hand but terrible service, worst of all, the staff blames us that its our fault

The food is really good and the boss is very friendly and kind. The price is reasonable. The rack of lambs , very family-friendly and the chef is the boss, he asks for his food perfectly. The wines are not expensive either, I highly recommend going there with the family, my children love their pasta so much.

The decor is simple, but uniquely refined with flamboyant handcrafted chandeliers and sublime paintings. Finally, what can we say about the wonderful team who take good care of each customer. I absolutely had an amazing experience with my family at this restaurant who went out of their way to accomodate our large party. They were incredibly attentive and helpful. They even made it easy with little children. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Cant say enough good things about them.

Excellent restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent pearl couscous, everything is very good. The staff is welcoming and very warm and even the chef comes to see us. His wife is incredibly kind. The veal tagine with prunes falls apart with a fork and melts in your mouth. The shrimp are excellent and the desserts too. The salsa with the fish is delicious. Good crunchy vegetables, cooked to perfection.

Very good food, warm and welcoming staff. The plans are delicious. The only thing for the coucous (royal) was that the taste of the meat was so present that I didnt notice the flavor of the vegetables in the couscous that I know. For meat lovers this should please them
