Café du Théâtre - Brasserie Française in Brossard

The service was impeccable in a very accessible, pretty and very useful place when going to the Manuvie theater. That said, the quality of the food, especially considering the price, was disappointing. I had the shrimp and my partner had the duck pasta dish. My side dish was regular mashed potatoes, with carrots that could have been prepared at home with better quality. For the same price, I could have gone to a high quality restaurant, I felt like I was paying for the rental rather than the food. Dietary restrictions: Very effective for nut allergies, thank you for the excellent service.

Its not good sense I ask for a glass of water when I finish eating my dessert I ask for the most expensive plate I get 5 ounces of burnt meat for $40 which is really stealing.

Cooking, aside from the headlines for eggs...it was eggs. Service, how to explain my experience, in two steps. First time, I would have said pleasant.... lets jump right away on the ayoye la pas fine. How can someone smile at you so kindly while stabbing you in the back like this, is this a directive from employers. She will recognize this, we start very early in the morning, lunch for us is simply supper, so lets go with a beer. I have a new coworker so I take said beer off my bill, lolll we guys are like that! Everything is fine, ok some gaps in the service like not the right bread and never replacing it, no problem it was really good when passing the bread. Back to the beer, when you ask what are your choices please, blah blah blah, the waitress never asked us; ex in barrel or bottle, she decides in barrel in her head without ever, but never the greatness of the beer... She chose the BIGGEST AND BIGGEST price, pardon my language, without giving me a choice, the damage being done. When I received my invoice I didnt realize it at the time because it was pleasant, later I realized and looped the situation and then inquired during the day the price of my effort... AYOYE, never again will a beautiful smile from a waitress fool me like that. Well done.

It wasnt my first choice of restaurant but we went there to treat my mother for her birthday. Menu very limited in terms of choice with prices that do not justify the very minimal size of the portions. A very bad experience which ends with a waiter who comes to see me in front of my guests asking me for a better tip because they must give a quote to their employer! A very poorly invested $675 at a time when restaurants are looking to retain their customers. I do not recommend this restaurant in any way

Very beautiful place in the dix30 district which deserves to be discovered. The place is less visible in my opinion than other restaurants in the area. It s a lovely place to gather as a group too. There is a mezzanine upstairs and a lovely terrace. I work in construction and every lunchtime there are specials of 2 meals for $40 which is a very good price. Very good flank steak that we had this Tuesday. The broccoli soup was good too but a little too thick. Oh yes and the table service is excellent as usual. Parking: It is easy to park your vehicle in the basement.

I reserved the theater café for a surprise for my parents. We had the mezzanine to ourselves, it was wonderful. The restaurant is magnificent, Parisian style. The food was excellent, our waitress exceptional. I only have good comments. I will go back!!

I went to the Café du Théâtre with a group of friends on a Sunday morning for lunch. We had really poor service. It took about 30 minutes before our server came to our table. When our plates arrived, my friend mentioned that his bacon was not cooked properly. The waitress pretended to ignore it... One of my friends didnt order it at the same time as us (it happens), but the waitress again pretended to ignore it when my friend mentioned it... My partner had to call out another waitress for her to get her order. Quite a service... During our entire meal, our server only came to the table once to give us water. He never came to see if everything was okay. Which was not the case. Finally, I dont find it normal that coffee is not included with a lunch plate, especially when your plate costs $24 before tax. This is the first time Ive seen this in a restaurant that serves lunch at the table. Good points : The food arrived quickly and the place was clean. Basically, my friends and I will never go back there and I strongly advise against it.

Excellent food! Fast and courteous service, the only downside is ironically the coffee; a very ordinary taste and when I asked for milk we were given about 2 ounces for a table of 5 people... otherwise, try their pancakes, they are delicious!

We celebrated a family birthday there. Beautiful location on the mezzanine, allowing a more intimate and private atmosphere than on the floor. It was easy with small children. Excellent lunch brunch food. Parking: Shopping center and underground parking available 3-4 minutes walk away. Kid-friendliness: More of a pub, café, chill evening atmosphere for adults, with terraces. But on the mezzanine it is more suitable and friendly for children. Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor and on the terrace. Elevator available.

Their brunch is always good and the service is professional. However, the acoustics of the place are awful, so it gets extremely loud inside.

We like to go there for breakfast on Sunday mornings. The plates are generous and there is a lot of choice. The service is smiling. We will return there, for sure. Parking: Free parking nearby.

The portions were too small for the price. I ordered the salmon avocado spread and it wasnt a spread, it was an avocado salad with tomato, no salt, then the salmon pieces were lousy. In addition, they never explained to us that filter coffee was not included with lunches like everywhere. The place is beautiful but too much noise. No choice for those who cannot eat pork, and the gluten free options I found high.

This time the service was good but the first time it was very slow. I ordered and entree ,not super hungry, the price indicated + 8.00, since I didntt order a main I was charged 13.00. Not worth it at all. This was not indicated anywhere on the menu. But heres the kicker,we asked for bread and we were charged 3.00 for a 1/4 of a baguette, I have never payed for bread in a French restaurant not even in Paris, to me this is the issue that will not bring me back.

Every time I had the service really long for everything I made a reservation and online because when you call you are told that it must be done online I made my reservation and never received my confirmation and I call we are not able to give me availability or an arrangement I have always reserved a place online and I know how to reserve but zero comodation he told me there are places outside but its first okay but leave me one because its your problem that there is a problem with your site etc ... to at least agree, really snobbish ... very disappointed

We went for a birthday brunch. We were seated on the mezzanine, which was perfect for our group. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent. I chose the ham and cheese omelette, my sweet one the salmon béné and my neighbor the chicken waffle combo.

Worst experience ever for our group of six. Coffee is served cold. The meals served were cold: almost no cheese in the ham and cheese omelette, requested a little runny served well cooked, potatoes served cold, dry baguettes, the vegetarian omelette ordered gluten free was served ham and cheese omelette, correction made, the omelette is served cold, the 2 plates of eggs benedict are too salty and overcooked, the salmon bagel deserves a star. The waitress is nice but overwhelmed. Beautiful place. Easy parking. Avoid at all costs.

Not yet eaten. But on what I saw on the menu and on the plates: limited but balanced menu in terms of price/quality balance; modern choice while preserving the translation of a very good French bistro.

By far the worst lunch experience in years. The dishes arrived...cold! And its not the waitresss fault, the CdT kitchen serves the food on cold plates, which doesnt help, but still that doesnt explain why even the slice of bacon served in the middle of an arrangement of 3 pancakes.... is cold... and the pancakes... cold!! Chicken waffle is an insult to real chicken waffles ! Chicken nuggets (probably bought frozen) in pieces, cold, served on waffle wedges....cold!! Not even additional maple syrup offered. We are very far from the real chicken waffle with homemade breaded chicken breast fried in oil served on a crispy waffle and all that....served still hot! The only thing that was served a little hotter than lukewarm was the lattes. For lunch lovers, this place should be avoided, there are dozens of restaurants on the south bank where you can eat hot lunches that will not spoil your experience.

Terrible food. Excessive price Dinner on a Friday evening. I first made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a specific location which was not respected despite the fact that I tried to reach the restaurant several times. I was organizing my mothers 65th birthday with 13 people. When we arrived we were seated at a table with a column between two tables which meant that some of our guests were separated and could not see the rest of the people. We ate escargot, scallops and pasta called the classic meal of the place, poutine for children. The snails were full of sand and very rubbery, the tartares were onion and not salmon! All the plates were lukewarm or even cold and the taste was absolutely not there. very expensive for the quality. The options The server was nice and helpful. However, he made a lot of invoice errors. I definitely dont recommend. Oh I forgot, $10 for a mocktail. It makes you want to start drinking again!!!!

The food was very average, nothing about it wowed anyone in our group of 8. The potatoes made in duck fat were nice though. As others have said, it takes around 30 mins for the food to arrive. The portion sizes were not justified by the creativity, flavour or cost. This also applies to the kids options. The smoothie ordered was incredibly tart. The service was mediocre. The server had not brought water to our table to start and seemed bothered to try to speak or even hear basic requests in English. Thankfully our whole table was bilingual. Atmosphere was the only part we enjoyed however its very loud.

Cute French bistro inspired cafe. Nice if you combine it with a show, but otherwise, this restaurant is not particularly worth the detour.

A fools restaurant for people who have too much money to spend or who think that by taking a new conquest there, he or she will be impressed by the wealthy tastes of the person taking him or her to this place. place. If you are looking for a good place to go for lunch, try Le Péché Matinal in Vieux-Longueuil, you will get a little more bang for your buck because in addition to being good, their meal choices are much more varied.

Very odd experience at this spot. We walked in and no one came to assign us a table for quite a while. Someone not dressed as a waiter, I m assuming the manager, asked us if we have a reservation, we said no. (Place was half empty) he gave us a table at the far end. Made many signals to a waitress and waiter who flat out acknowledged and ignored us. Sat there for 20 minutes. Eventually we got up and left. Manager person was talking to a person dressed as kitchen staff watched us walk out the door- didn t say or do anything. Not sure what the issue was.

One evening of a show I went to this restaurant so as not to have to run to be on time. My dish arrived 45 minutes later, even though my mother had finished hers. I ate in 5 minutes so as not to be late. Plus it was more than ordinary (really too salty and the vegetables were not cooked) probably because they rushed to give me my dish when I complained. Because it was also difficult to find someone to talk to!! The waitress was not present. The reason she gave me when I paid my bill? There were 2 of us and we waited for 1 hour without anyone informing us that no table was allocated for people without reservations. Beautiful atmosphere and the reason I went in. Sunday was busy but 4 people behind the bar. I sær alone at the bar for over 10 minutes exploring the menu. Other than the hostess, no one greeted me and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I would have had a mimosa and some eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Once all was said and done I would have spent about $45 for breakfast. Expensive place but the food did look very good as I saw it pass by. As it was, I walked out once not one individual standing behind the bar said anything. I walked in at 12:10 (no lineup at the door). Asked to be seated at the bar and she indicated I could take any seat. I sat on the corner closest to the outside next to a bin of peeled grapefruit. Read the entire menu several times and then walked out. Its 12:27 as I write this on Sunday May 28.

No service, you have to ask for cafe and wait for 5-10 mins to get it. Only thing service care is if you give tips or not. Food takes 45 minutes to arrive. I give 2 star just for the look for food, taste standard.

Came here through the Alt Hotel Breakfast package coupon during the race week and it is a very nice breakfast restaurant. Since we had a different menu we had the option of the ham omelette, two eggs and a crepe. The Ham omelette was very good but the ham they use here is more like pulled pork which is a bit odd but very flavorful and tasty. The potatoes are incredible fluffy and savory. The two eggs we got sunny side and I had their breakfast sausage and I must say its the best breakfast sausage I had. I also tried their two crepes with the fresh fruit and it was okay. I expected a bit more flavor out of them. Both the eggs and omelette plated were served with fruit which was very nice. Service was also good and quick. I will defiantly be returning next year! Très beau resto au dix30. Service impeccable. Par contre, le fish & chips nétait pas à la hauteur. Il était mou et non floconneux. La serveuse, est allé voir à la cuisine et nous a dit quhabituellement il était bon et qu aujourd hui ce nétait pas le même poisson que dhabitude. Question? Pourquoi lont tils servis? Manque de rigueur. Déception

Succulent food and exceptional service, especially from Marie-Laurence and Jean-Michel. Ask for them during your next visit to the Café du Théâtre. Parking: Indoor and outdoor parking.

I went to the Café du Théâtre twice and I really liked it. Brunch is good and there are a variety of food choices. It s a beautiful, very popular place so be sure to book in advance to avoid queues, especially for weekend brunches. Kid-friendliness: There is a childrens menu and several families were there with their infants.

The food is good, but you have to wait a long time; the eggs Benedict were overcooked.

Good service, good food but a little noisy. Our fault, we were 25 people.

A great experience! The place is beautiful and the service pleasant. The list of choices is tempting and what we ate was very good. I will go back for sure!

Quelle belle découverte pour un brunch avant une journée de magasinage au Dix30 ! Les prix sont un peu plus chers mais c est totalement justifié par les ingrédients qui sont d une plus grande qualité (pleurotes, asperges, canard rôti, fromage Oka, etc.). Le service était très bien et c était très kid friendly :-) ! J y retournerai assurément !

Dont go unless you want to wait 10+ mins for your drink and another 30 mins for food.
