Very underwhelming experience. The food was average, the service was awkward and rushed, the cocktails were such a let down. A birthday dinner that will not be remembered unfortunately.

Very disappointed with our meal this evening....the fried squid as a starter were lost under a mushy layer of cabbage making them soft and not crispy....as for the risotto, it was tasteless and in a liquid, non-creamy sauce. ...I wont be going back there anytime soon

The atmosphere was lively at the start of December. The service was excellent - friendly, efficient and professional waitress. On the other hand, we were disappointed with our dishes. We had the beef tartare. Everything was tasteless and tasteless.

I came by yesterday for my birthday, I loved the really excellent food. The service was slower earlier despite there being only 6 tables with 2 servers (in my opinion, quieter earlier) but hey, I had my dessert offered for my party, very disappointed because it was still frozen, the waiter apologized and offered me another dessert, but really disappointed, on the day of your party you bite into a frozen/cold/hard cupcake.

It s a shame because the first time we went there (last winter), everything was delicious. This time, it was not good and around ten of us got sick after our meal.

Excellent on all levels. The only problem was parking, but our waitress guided us to the parking lot.

We were a group of 10 with a group menu. Despite the group menu, service was long and difficult throughout the evening. We didnt receive our wine. We received the starter before the wine. The main meal one person in our group did not receive it, she had to wait 15 minutes longer than us. The beef scoter was very good but the risotto ordinary. We took the extra shrimp (with the scoter), they were not cooked, they were gray. They were brought back to the kitchen then when they were brought back to us they were burnt black. Its insulting. So we shouldnt have taken this extra shrimp in the end. Then at the end there was an error on our invoice. The waiter runs away, we have to chase him to be able to pay. I would say that it is a beautiful restaurant, with beautiful decor and a beautiful atmosphere. Maybe we were just unlucky that night.

Great evening with foodies at Lionel Solar. Besides the somewhat difficult access to parking (which is free ), the area is very good, lively, on a beautiful summer evening. Lionels cuisine lived up to our expectations; octopus, salmon tartare and fish & chips tasty and in good portions. Marcos suggestions and service were impeccable. We will definitely come back. THANKS. Parking: We got a little lost in the underground parking lot ...The exit is not easily visible at lower levels. I think the exterior parking option will be easier.

Several visits to this restaurant and I am becoming familiar with it. Very spacious inside, very high ceilings, a little difficult to find parking but thats no reason to remove a star. Much appreciated.

I chose Lionel to taste their classic beef tartare which had very good reviews. Unfortunately, the menu had changed the same day and it was no longer available. I finally opted for the salmon tartare which I found a little disappointing. Im not sure if it was thawed or fresh salmon, and it was very salty. The green salad on the side was good but also very salty, and the croutons were hard and not toasted. The homemade fries/mayo were good. Overall it was ok but not wow.

Very nice restaurant, pleasant atmosphere and not too noisy. The staff is very friendly which made up for a somewhat slow service at the beginning. The starter of tuna tataki with sea urchin mayonnaise was exquisite, a perfect balance of flavors and texture. The duck arancini as well as the ricotta and pulled duck ravioli are also tasty. Note that all the presentations were refined. The least successful was the tuna tartare, the fried onion pancakes were a little hard and the seasoning did not highlight the tuna caught in Gaspésie which is so fine. Overall, very good, we will come back.

Food: The clam risotto was undercooked, lacked parmesan and had no taste. The plate of sea bream contained more sauce than fish: you had to look for the fish on the plate. Service: when we said hello to the employee who was putting out the utensils and the glasses of water, we didnt even get a hello, the response was only: its not me who serves you this evening! Throughout the dinner we served ourselves our own drinks and finally when we tried to help the employee clear the table, we were treated to a stupid look and said: I got it! In short, for us who love Lionel de Boucherville, the experience was very disappointing!

Saturday night, 8:30PM. No one at the door to greet us. Finally someone came and gave us our table. Sat down, 30 minutes and nobody came to see us. We got up and left.

We went here on date night! Food was outstanding! Service was outstanding! I am not a desert person but the Chocolate caramel brownie with roasted marshmallows chunks of chocolate, and nuts was delicious. Very generous portions also like the fact that the menu changes every six months so you can go back to enjoy!

Disappointing! We ordered two glasses of wine individually and we selected the most expensive, what a disappointment. Wine without any interest. As for the food: soft fries, salmon tartare ok. In short, a bill of $163 for two tartar dishes, two glasses of wine.

We visited the Lionnel this evening. Unfortunately a great lack of consideration from the service staff. My friend suffers from food intolerance to lactose and garlic and we still served her a dish without warning. The server had however been informed. Our evening continues but ends for her. Employee training should include a component on food allergies and intolerances. It would also be relevant to put an intolerance button in your computer to make communication easier for the floor staff to communicate a dietary restriction to the kitchen. This fault is serious. Otherwise the food is OK: nothing extraordinary. House cocktails to avoid.

Quick and courteous welcome. Water and beverage served quickly. As a starter I had the Périgord salad, I thought I had been served the salad as a main course, but no, the starter is a fairly generous portion. Very tender and tasty duck, delicious vinaigrette, very fresh and crispy salad leaves, a little heavy with the cromequis, but really not bad. The Burrata shared with my friends, I liked it, not super impressive, but its a good classic that is easy to appreciate. The starters arrived quickly, but our main courses took quite a while to be served to us. We didnt have to complain, one of the waitresses came to apologize for the delay, explaining that a group arrived and placed their orders almost at the same time. Dessert and coffee were offered to us. As a main course, the Beef Scoter, I made the mistake of asking for medium well done, I should have taken medium or medium rare, but despite that it was still very good as a piece of beef. If I hadnt eaten an appetizer, I probably would have enjoyed more vegetables (beans and cauliflower). The Bordeaux sauce was sublime! The corn cob tasted strangely like torch gas or something. There were two of us who had this dish and three who tasted the corn and found it to taste amazing. For dessert, the Rum Baba accompanied by a cappuccino. Really delicious as a dessert. I think that by the time I got there I was quite full and probably didnt fully appreciate it. A little sweet for my taste, but goes well with coffee. Tried the Brownie that someone else ordered, very disappointing. It looked more like a rather dry brownie flavored cookie. For a Tuesday evening, the restaurant seemed as full as a Thursday evening and the kitchen only had two employees. I must say that I am impressed by the quality of the food delivered and the speed of delivery considering what they had to manage as a restaurant. That s quality staff (food and service) and I would definitely go back.

Everything was perfect, the service provided by Elizabeth was remarkable. We asked to change the table allocated to us; we preferred another location and it was done without fuss. The sea bream on the menu was changed to sablefish which was really delicious in fact I think this fish should be added to the menu. My lover was satisfied with his scoter dish. Beautiful restaurant and nice atmosphere BUT the price is really exaggerated, almost as expensive as going to TOQUET in Montreal. Seriously, you are a brasserie, and pay $165 before tip for 1 starter for two, 1 fried cheeseburger, lamb (lots of bones and little flesh) a so-called Rum Baba which looked like anything but a rum baba and of course the wine is $57. seriously its very expensive for what you get!!!

Just WOW!! A tasty beef tartare served with chips instead of the classic tooth-breaking croutons! Mouthwatering fries! My man ordered the sea bream which was also very delicious. CLASSY & DELICIOUS!!! Loved the beautiful Mid-Century decor! The atmosphere was chill and relaxed for a Sunday brunch and our waiter Guillaume was very pleasant and engaging. He was present for our needs without being too much in our space, which I love. The brunch menu was spot on, offering the staple dishes but there were some delicious and original brunch dishes that you don t see often .loved the shared dish « Déjeuner au lit pour 2 »! Well done! I went for brunch with a friend this morning and we both really enjoyed our meal. We both had the oeuf cocotte and it was delicious. The service was great as well. Reasonably priced in todays expensive world. I will definitely be back. We were lucky to be seated right away as it was quite busy so making a reservation might be best to avoid waiting for a table.

Extremely slow service, waiter disappearing for 15 minutes or more each time, when our food arrived we had no utensils and had to ask for them after having to get up to find someone to give them to us . Food returned for cooking not in accordance with requests, meat returned dry after return, 20 minutes of waiting for the invoice and then another 15 minutes to pay. We were a group of 6 and spent over $500. Parking: 2 minutes walk - Free and covered. Indoor and outdoor parking

Absolutely excellent...the shrimp were sublime

Not a convincing experience. Upon arrival, 5 min wait at the entrance with no one to greet. Note that the menu (at least in the evening) is much more limited than what appears on Google. The braised octopus is not there for example. For a child, we asked for the cheeseburger and put a lettuce leaf in it. They brought the cheeseburger with a salad without fries. The waiter noticed the problem and offered to bring us fries on the side. But these never arrived!! The CheeseBurgers werent very good. The braised cheek was great, but the tartare, not great (for real fans). In short, I probably wont try the experience again.

We went to celebrate Mothers Day in this restaurant which offered a unique menu for $45 for the occasion. Be careful, some dishes have a supplement and we are careful not to tell you this. Bad surprise on the bill!! I saw that there were other comments along these lines, it must be the style of the house... it lacks honesty! Add to that the little touch of condescension from the supervisor, too bad, a little course on customer service would be good! A restaurant that pretends to be what it is not.

The music was a little loud. The parking lot is poorly signposted, I had to park far from the restaurant. Parking: Once there, there is a sign on the front door indicating where you can park for free.

On the website, there was a Mother s Day brunch menu and a fall winter menu. At the entrance, at dinner time, we could see a Mothers Day menu, but once seated, we were informed by the server that this menu was only for brunch, therefore not available. The premises are modern, spacious in height, bright and somewhat noisy. The fir salt in the Boréal cocktail is pleasant. The cuisine is refined, as we saw in the salmon gravlax with gin, the fried squid (quite substantial), the seafood risotto (we didnt skimp on the latter) and the beef cheek with the Flemish (a little too grilled and less tender than I expected). The last two dishes were slightly too salty for our taste, but otherwise everything was very good. The service was friendly, although we waited a bit for the interventions. When we left, the three employees we encountered greeted us pleasantly, a rare behavior elsewhere.

I had already been to Chez Lionel in Boucherville in 2017 and there, I wanted to try the one in Brossard. I started with 6 Rockefeller oysters ($24). Super disappointed. Small oysters like those in bars with $1 evenings. Little sauce, little breadcrumbs. They were pitiful. They tasted like nothing because they were so small. For the starter, I took an off-menu item, a Scotch egg ($22). A soft-boiled egg, coated in well-seasoned sausage meat, well breaded and fried. Served with pan-fried mushrooms and an excellent sauce. Really good. For the main course, I went with the puff pastry tart with boudin ($29) with caramelized onions, oka cheese and button mushrooms covered with arugula salad. Excellent. Park in the blue section, which is closest to the restaurant. Small negative point, although they say that parking is free for customers, I had to pay $10 because I had exceeded the duration of 3 hours.

I ve been here 3 times already and I would say this is one of the best restaurants in the Solar/Dix30 area. I highly recommend their brunch (Crêpe farcie aux fruits de mer especially), it s so so good and not the usual eggs, bacon dishes. The dinner menu changes every season (I think) so sometimes it s not as good. The fancier items in the menu are honestly mid, but the burgers are always solid! Make sure to order the Parmesan and truffle fries!
