One of the best gyros Ive eaten. Nice discovery of this place on Doordash. I had a pork gyro pita. The portions are generous (the gyro comes with salad, rice and fries). A place I will order from again for sure!

Noisy restaurant, perfect for groups but less good for a couple. Yesterday I ordered a plate of butterfly shrimp and my husband a plate of chicken skewers. The breading on my shrimp was too salty and my Greek potatoes were tasteless, my husbands chicken skewer had pink bits and in his opinion the Greek potatoes were not great. The service was very good and very friendly.

The food was excellent, and the service impeccable. This is a family restaurant and the owners take pride in their business and with good reason. In my opinion this type of place deserves to be encouraged much more than the big chains of this type. We will definitely go back.

Excellent food, reasonable price. Parking: Parking adjacent to the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu. Attentive waiter who asks us when to bring the childrens dishes (with the adults starters or main dishes). No coloring or other games but fast service which makes it a good plan with children.

You absolutely must try the starter of three (3) dips served with pita bread (tzatziki, taramasalata and spicy feta cheese)! Also, their poke bowl made with chicken gyro, salad, vegetables and legumes with their homemade vinaigrette! Special mention for their chicken or pork pita. For me, its the best Greek restaurant on the south shore!

A hair on the plate of squid placed in front of me. Ultimately, the squid didnt taste much and the breading wasnt pleasant. I would have thought that was one of their specialties. The chicken skewer was delicious, but the Greek potatoes were disappointing. Its a place for groups, it was very noisy. Positive point: bring your own wine.

I shared a good meal there this afternoon with my AC and it was very good, my salmon was perfect, everything was good. Thanks for everything!

Amazing Greek food served with a smile

I went with my boyfriend who is of Greek origin. We couldnt wait to see how authentic this restaurant was and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent. This rating was an 8.5-9/10. I gave it a 3/5 for the atmosphere because there was a group who had reserved 3 tables, they were a group of 30 people, which seemed to be too much for the size of the restaurant. But the overall rating is 9/10. We will definitely return.

Very good, and affordable! We had a starter of taramosalata, and tzatziki (2 for $10) and also 2 starters of shrimp au gratin (2 for $10) and a plate of souvlaki. From Sunday to Thursday plates are 2 for $34! And that s bring your own wine!

A comfortable and good restaurant! Ive lived in the area for a while and hadnt come across this one until now and was so pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the service/atmosphere of the place. Classic, well maintained and nicely decorated restaurant. Makes you feel comfortable right away! The staff is very nice, polite and helpful. The ease and comfort they show makes you feel welcomed and not rushed. The food was very good. We had pork gyros with calamari and spanakopita. Calamaris were amazing, thickness was better than any other place weve been and they were cooked perfectly (no rubbery texture to be found anywhere!) Spanakopita is slightly different from what Ive had in the past, but absolutely worth it. It was delicious and surprisingly big! Had to take some of it home as leftovers! The gyros had an insane amount of tzatziki, which is the EXACT amount I like in my gyros! The meat was delicious and the pita was warm and soft. I couldnt resist and took a baklava to take home and boy did it not disappoint. Nutty, flakey and with delicious syrup. The amount of food we had for the price was also a good deal. Had some lunch for the day after, which I loved. All around a great experience, from start to finish!

Where to start, the calamari fresh and crunchy were a dream, what stoke the spotlight really was the grilled octopus! Juice tender with that grilled taste amazing! I had the santé de chicken. The slightly melted feta on top a juicy chicken breast and grilled veggies were delicioso!!

Great experience at the Gyro Grill. Family restaurant operated by the owner who is also the chef. My only Greek restaurant experiences were Casa Grecian and Old Duluth. At Gyro Grill, the tastes are exquisite and the quality of the products can be tasted. Everything is fresh and delicious. We ordered the Saganaki cheese starters and the Loukaniko sausages. As a meal, we chose pork gyros. Desserts were crème brûlée and Greek homemade dessert. Kid-friendliness: There is a childrens menu.

Excellent Greek restaurant! Best pikilia Ive ever eaten. On the other hand, do not sit next to the window in the evening... The disabled space is not well understood by customers who spend their time parking and leaving, so you have the car headlights constantly in the eyes. Very unpleasant. In addition, very small parking lot at the back and dangerous in the dark because there are no lights.

Great restaurant! We arrived at opening and received our food quickly. Best gyros weve ever had and the calamari was cooked to perfection. And what can I say about the kindness of the owner. He took the time to chat with us and our 3 children. Too bad we dont live closer!

The food is excellent but the quantity is small. I ordered tzaziki sauce and taramousalata and it was in two minis containing the equivalent when you ask for an extra sauce but we asked for a starter.

Well, a somewhat shaky arrival because we had to park our car at the back and there was no lighting which allowed us to locate ourselves properly BUT there was a reason for this failure, crimes by thugs were committed on the wires that distributed the electricity. We were 2 couples who showed up this Sunday around 6:30 p.m. without reservation (not necessary according to the owner) and we were greeted by a beautiful smile from a person informing us to choose our place because the place was relatively unoccupied. Our waitress (I forgot her name) gave us the menu, suggested choices at our request, informed that the dishes were prepared in house and left it to us to look at and choose. Impeccable service, water, a seal for the white wine, super generous and good dishes, what more could you ask for? Ahhhhh yes, squid. LOL There were no more and so it is certain that I will return to the restaurant to taste it but I will find out by telephone first. ;-) The prices are reasonable (they are not inflated to compensate for the fact that the restaurant does not sell wine) for the kind of Greek dishes served in this style of restaurant. BRING your own wine is always a plus because it saves money for customers who then allow themselves a little extra food like my baklava. We wish you good luck in your business. Thank you and see you soon :-) UPDATE 05/2023 The restaurant was almost full when we returned there with our friends. Very different from our first experience. Less personal service and more pressure to hurry to serve us given the number of customers. Slower by the waiters and even if the owner offers a smile and wants to provide good service we feel stressed. The plates had a generous portion and this time I was able to order squid. Even though it was good it didnt have a particular taste to set it apart from another squid dish. The other 3 took souvlaki pita and all enjoyed it but I took a plate of chicken gyros and the chicken was unfortunately burnt and dry. Overall the place was good. Glad that the place attracts more people but next time I will do what is necessary to go there on a less busy evening.

Its a very nice family-owned restaurant, with a very friendly service. Their food is excellent and very reasonably-priced. Calamari was very freshly prepared & crispy , tarama tasted much better than the ones I tried elsewhere. Gyro souvlaki dish was really good - I finished the entire plate. I forgot the name, but they also have a home-made Greek dessert. I would definitely come back in the future.

It was a lovely Greek place and the souvlaki was absolutely amazing! Be aware that if you want to split a dish with another person its an extra $5. Not too much of an issue because their portions are very large (at least compared to what we are used to in Ontario). The server was very nice and recommended cheaper options for us when we ordered as well. Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant, had a number of spots when we arrived (7-8pm Thursday)

About 30 of us went on a Thursday evening. The place was buzzing with diners. Staff are helpful and friendly. The owner took our order. We did not have to wait too long for our orders despite the resto being quite full. Loved the shrimp and sausage Greek platters. We chose the 2 for 1 menu option at $17 each (Sunday to Thursday) which included a delicious lentil soup . Good desert menu . Great coffee for only $2.50. Lots of parking in the back. The resto was recently re-decorated in a lovely blue & white Greek theme. I recommend this place. The price is right.

It was good but had much more expectations

I am sorry, but as much as I really try to keep an open mind, I just dont get it why ppl are rating this high?! So this is our experience with this place. First of, we live 3 min away at walking distance, so we have seen this little place change ownerships a few times in last 6 years. Current owners are a bit better (food wise) than predecesors. But the food is not memorable ( I have been everywhere in Greece to all four corners and islands, and this tastes nothing like that). Prices are on pair with Casa Greque (maybe even pricier on some items). We went just before 5pm rush, so we got seated right away and served fairly quick. Service was good, but the waiter was alone for the whole place and he was spread a bit thin, though polite and friendly until the end. I cant imagine what a 4* restaurant will be rated at by all the ppl giving 5 star rating here ?!? Mybe they have never been to one and their benchmark is McDo ?

We came here on a Sunday, and wow... There was a lot of people. They have a Sunday special until Thursday? Basically they have deals ... Like 2 appetizers for $10, and 2 entrees for $34... We ordered a gyro, and of that... A shrimp gyro, which was fun!

Good portions. Always fresh and tasty. Nothing gourmet, but excellent in its category and impeccable service. The gyros or souvlaki pitas are delicious. Same thing for salad and Greek potatoes. This family owned restaurant is a gem! We had reservations last week and everyone really enjoyed their meal. I had the Gyro chicken plat and it was delicous.
