Magnificent atmosphere, top food and beers. Well done

We held our private event there last week. The service was amazing, the staff friendly and efficient and the food was perfect, no complaints especially for such a large group. I recommend this place to spend time with friends or for your private events. Apparently new administration since around September, I have nothing to complain about, especially the wonderful hospitality!

Forget the reservation of 30 people. We managed to get a table despite everything... receiving our dishes at an interval of 25 minutes. No one eating at the same time. Not only is ordering a drink the second time impossible. The waiter forgets us, there are errors on the invoices! Then to finally have our place taken away so that someone could take our place for buying a bottle of alcohol. . Wow! If we had a service, I promise you that you would have sold more than a bottle of alcohol. Literally this place accepts way too many customers for the capacity of the bar. WoW you ruined my 30th birthday. Never again this place. Its very rare that I will give a bad review. Honestly I would have given it a big 0. Hoping that this comment will be constructive for the owner and make modifications for the service of your future customers...ect. People outside were talking about discontent elsewhere. Never again.

Very good service! The waitress was very nice and the owner who came to ask us if everything was to our liking, it was fun! I ate a tartare entree with fries and my partner had Fish and Chip. Everything was perfect and the singer created a great atmosphere! THANKS!!

I wanted to organize my party with more than 20 people for dinner and more than 50 other people for the club afterwards! I first contacted them to make a reservation, which is extremely complicated. They only brought me problems. First of all, people talk to me about a Christmas menu even though it s for a birthday. So I had to explain everything again... and with the delays I was told that they were out of places! I contacted them on November 14 for December 7. By November 19, they had room for us . I agree that it is too complicated and that we will go elsewhere. Its really a shame to see that they dont care about such a big group who intended to have a party. I am very disappointed and frustrated with their poor service . clearly I will never go to this place!!!! I sincerely hope that the owner gets this message and understands that there is a problem with his staff and his management!

I was passing through a few days ago and stopped at the Jack saloon. Firstly the service was poor, we were on the terrace outside and all the time we had the impression of being forgotten by the employees (I had to go inside to warn a waitress that we were ready to order then the lights werent even on outside on the terrace, I had to go and plug them in by myself even though it was after 8 a.m. and it was dark I didnt even have any utensils on the table, in short they had to warn you about almost everything I ordered 2 pepsi zero from your (fountain) and the 2 pepsi was clearly transparent and it tasted like water. Logically when it is transparent it is. that the fountain had to be filled and you can see it by eye All this to finally have to spend 2h30 of my time in this place because of the wait, fortunately I was not in a hurry. the waitress did not receive any type with good reason. Next time make sure you go outside often to see if the customers need anything because you often tend to forget the terrace and concentrate your employees there. indoors to trip and dance while people wait. Cigarettes and vaping back on the terrace while everyone eats arent good either. Your service should be reviewed, thank you!

I must say that this is the restaurant that has disappointed me the most in recent years. I ordered burnt ends, yes I was expecting something fatty...but there...there was no meat except pieces of fried meat fat. It was horrible. Daring to serve that is lamentable. Im sorry, its rare that my Google reviews are this bad, but everything we ordered was not up to par.

The first time two years ago, we came as a group including family from France, about ten I really didnt like it, very slow service, we were forgotten, I dried up while waiting for another beer, music boom -boom too loud, error in the orders I gave it another chance yesterday...no better! We were at the counter so it was easier to get served, the waitresses were friendly and smiling, we were good, but western atmosphere... not at all. A few country songs around 7 p.m., but it turns into hip-hop/rap/R&B nightclub music , music WAY too loud, even the waitress had trouble hearing our orders. The food is good, the cocktails are good, the decor is nice... but its hard to spend an evening shouting at each other to talk, your throat a little scratchy this morning. I still left 20% tip because the waitress had nothing to do with it and served us well. No hard feelings it s a nice place with a good atmosphere in general if it wasn t called Jack Saloon and didn t promise a western atmosphere

No service, we have to run after the waitress to get a drink; after 25 minutes of waiting I asked the waitress if the drink I had ordered was coming soon she went to see and explained to me that there was a problem with the coupons, I waited another 15 minutes and still nothing , we left No need to go there...

Very nice place where you feel like youre in Texas! Very elaborate drinks and cocktail menu with friendly and smiling service! Havent tried the cuisine yet but Im going back soon and the terrace will be open!

Firstly, I was expecting a western atmosphere, to my great disappointment I felt more like I was in a lounge bar. Second, the service leaves something to be desired. We ordered our drinks (a coke and a bloody) and it took 20 minutes to receive them. We ordered a starter which we never received. The waitress never came to see us to see if everything was to our liking, if we wanted a refill .the waiters were all gathered at the bar talking and looking at photos on their cell phones. Needless to say, there is no experience here. On the other hand, the food was good.

We were with some friends for a happy hour and we had to leave because the music was too loud. The singer was talented, but we couldnt even hear the person right next to us. I can understand a louder volume later in the evening, but at 5 p.m. its way too much. Also, burnt ends are mostly just pieces of pure fat with sauce. A few are meat, but at $15 an entrée, Im hoping to be able to eat more than 3 bites. The burgers are good, but I cant recommend anything that comes from the smokehouse, its always disappointing.

We have been to this wonderful place more than once. I have never had such burgers anywhere else. Very tasty. Thank you very much for your work. We will be happy to visit this place again and again. I recommend it. We go there with a three-year-old child. He also eats with pleasure, and there have been no problems. The staff is polite.

Really disappointing, paying over $50 for a full rack of ribs which are passable at best, the sauce tastes absolutely nothing, but the meat tastes like an old wood stove. In addition it took more than 2 hours to receive our order, without forgetting that it is very poorly seated, last time for me

Came here for a celebration of life event and waited over an hour and a half for a small container of french fries that were cold and gross. The guy tried to tell us that they were this slow because there were kids here. It honestly looked like they gave me leftover fries from people s used dishes. Disgusting and rude servers. No thanks!

I dont like leaving negative comments on a place but here, I have no other choice, for a good first impression, we will come back. We were a group of 17 people yesterday (I wasnt the one who made the reservation) to celebrate a birthday. Despite the staff who are still friendly, I must however mention a certain lack of professionalism, lets say that they are quite mixed up and seem more concerned with the service at the bar than that at the tables ($$$). 20 minutes after my arrival I still had not received anything to drink, nor had I been asked if I wanted to consume anything. The service is endless, in fact my partner never received his second drink and we stayed for more than 2.5 hours. For the meal I chose the Beef Tartare, I was told that it was only the Tartare and that I had to pay extra for sides. Im a restaurant regular, Im 36, and Ive NEVER seen this. A little outraged, I paid for a fries on the side. Arrives the Tartare, there was, without exaggeration, a total of 5 mouthfuls. I mentioned it on the spot to the waitress that I found it excessive: 5 bites in a marrow bone for $28, she made an attempt to repair it by offering me a free dessert. This is where it gets interesting because THEY chose dessert for me and unfortunately thats not what I would have chosen, when you offer a repair you let the customer choose. My partner had the pulled pork poutine and he too, small portion, he was still hungry when he left. My daughter took poutine in a small portion of a questionable-looking snack and this morning she had a stomach ache and she threw up undigested poutine twice and my partner was dia*****. So, never again for us, overpriced menu and food not up to par. I work for the City, I love going out to dix30 to support the different restaurants but I wont go back there and I suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

It s better homemade especially their cocktail ! An exercise that can be interesting to do for the jack saloon 1030 is to go and test the cocktails of other places that sell the same type of product, for example a mojito, then re-evaluate their cocktail (those from the jack saloon) to see if it matches the taste that a customer expects to have (without copying of course). This exercise can also be applied to food. Another alternative can also be to advise the customer that it has a different taste from what we usually find (if you did not want to change your recipe). I had 4 of my friends taste my cocktail and unfortunately we were of the same opinion that the mojito was not good. The waitress wasnt very friendly either. I hope this constructive criticism will help you improve.

The food is good, the service was good until a waitress (not the one who served us) kicked us out the minute after we paid saying: I will have to seat 3 people at this table THANKS. It was a Friday live music and we were enjoying the evening and the waitress didnt offer us any alternatives like: go sit at the bar, etc. I understand that when we finish, they expect us to leave, but again: was it a live music evening??? So it s normal in my opinion that people stay longer. I would have liked 100x more that the person would respectfully ask us if it was possible for us to leave.

The food was good, the meat excellent, but the dishes were a little simple for my taste, with a mini portion of vegetables and not much more potatoes.... And no salad... A little too expensive for what it was in my opinion....

Bad experience. I went to have a night out with the girls. After chatting and eating, we get up from the table to go dance a little, but we leave our things on the table (coats, handbags, even food, etc.). A few minutes later the waiters had offered the table to other customers! They put our things aside, and they threw away the food. I find this REALLY unacceptable!

They could of been polite and reassure of the waiting time but they decided to shut the door on us and tell us to wait instead. There was nobody in front of the door and we waited for so long ! they dont care about customer experience - go encourage another business and avoid this one. Been there to eat food also, heavily salty food and long wait .. Tonight was Definitely a wake up call - this place does not deserve your money

Unfortunately the Jack Saloon at dix30 almost completely ruined my sons birthday. Several weeks ago, my 18 year old son made a reservation for his birthday party on January 28th. At the time of the call he makes on Bluetooth (so I am witness to the conversation) no one asks him if there will be minors in the group. The same morning, he received a call to confirm the time and the number of people. 7:00 p.m. for 1 p.m. Once again, no famous question about minors or not present. This time my husband and I are witnesses to the call. When he arrived there, we told him that our group was seated on the bar side. And THE, the famous question if we have minors in the group! Well yes, there are minors among us!!! So we are told that unfortunately we cannot go to the bar side, the restaurant is full and that there are no other options! To bad!! A Saturday night of hockey, restaurants packed and a group of 13 on the sidewalk. My son is in shock and has difficulty arguing. I try to call and the person at reception politely repeats to me that unfortunately there is nothing they can do for us. I asked the manager to call me the next day, Saturday evening was not the time to make a scene. To my great surprise the manager called me back. Shes already upset without even starting to talk to me. I try to explain that their lack of communication has put us in a very distressing situation. She cuts me off, interrupts me, lies to me. My husband had to continue the discussion. She is closed and doesnt listen to anything. We wanted compensation for my son...who spent his holiday dinner on the sidewalk. No compensation for the group of 13. Still closed to discussion, we abandoned this conversation. Jacks human rating...0/10 and a big 0/10 to his manager who clearly needs some rest.

I went to this restaurant to be able to enjoy dinner with a group of friends while booking in advance. The same evening I come back and am told that I cannot eat in their restaurant because of the age of certain people. After arguing for a few minutes, he categorically refused me access to the dining room and offered no compensation and no solution, plan B. That being said, I had to make 10 other places to be able to find a restaurant that has space so I can enjoy my evening. If you are looking for a place where you want to be respected, avoid the jack saloon.

Weve been going out to Jack Saloon for 2-3 Saturdays, despite the intense cold people came out to have fun, but the DJ is arrogant...he has a tape to play without any effort to understand. Old tunes mixed with boom, boom and sounds without rhythm or connection with the tunes. He plays techno music with a zero mix, without seeing that the audience is not dense, is not techno fun or party dreams. Several groups left around 12:00-1:00 am because of the techno music. He persists despite repeated requests to change his style of music...The jack is a great place to dine, drink and have fun, listen to music, but it has become an experience place for DJs from beach club. We had come to celebrate our friend, we left, no longer able to listen to music...the dance floor and the bar were empty around 1:00. You have to change your Saturday DJ to keep your customers.

I really liked the fish tacos as a starter. Big portion! No childrens menu. Drink at $14 rather small. My partner had the ribs and said they were a little dry.

I have been to this place for a baby shower. Very well organized. And the appetizers are really good. There were mini burgers, mini poutine, fish tacos and mini mac and cheese. Nice atmosphere.

I went for the first time in March to join a friends party, the service is average of what you would expect from a restaurant, the hamburger not bad but very greasy it was dripping about 1 tablespoon of fat but its ok, What irritates me the most, they entered the tip themselves on the credit card, when I got home I went against it and checked my bank account that it was are taken 21% tip and on top of the tax it borders on dishonesty, thats why I wouldnt go back unless Im celebrating someone and Ill pay in cash, thats why Im removing 3 stars.

Being confronted in front of my group by the waitress for the amount of the tip, how can I put it it s a lack of interpersonal skills. This was the 2nd time I booked at this place with my work team and this is the last time. We will instead opt for another location where respect for others and appreciation of customers are values put forward by the staff. I will spare you all the other reasons which explain the 8% tip (which I nevertheless consider generous based on what we experienced). In short, a place to avoid and several other restaurants nearby to encourage. I give one star because the Google review system does not allow you to give a rating of any star.

This was my second experience at Jack saloon 10/30 and nothing like the first time. We had been invited by a couple of friends to join them for dinner and when they mentioned we were going to Jack Saloon 10/30 me and my groom wanted to cancel and due to our first experience two months ago of this. The first time our waitress was haughty, arrogant, unprofessional. She left us with a very bitter taste towards this restaurant, without forgetting that when we dont give 15% due to terrible service she tells us once again in an unprofessional manner that its not her business. ON THE HOWEVER, this time we were served by Julianne, I can tell you that it has been a very long time since I had been served so well in a restaurant. Smiling, attentive, kind and we see that she is in this industry for the right reasons. We will definitely return to Jack saloon for the good food but even more for Juliannes smile, personality and professionalism.

We were looking for a place to eat ribs and came across Jacks Saloon. Place only had a few patrons (around 5pm this past Saturday). Julianne was our waitress and was fabulous. My wife and I both had the ribs, and the were phenomenal!! Will definitely make the almost 2 hour trip from the Eastern Townships again!!!!! Clean and welcoming place. The waitress was courteous and attentive. The value for money is excellent! Being a driver, I didnt drink alcohol, they agreed to transform an alcoholic cocktail into a non-alcoholic cocktail even though it was not on the menu. It was very appreciated. :) I highly recommend!

It was a good place a year ago, but since then the service has not been the same. We waited 10 minutes at the table, which had glasses and plates on it without being served. I went to the bar to order drinks and afterwards the waitress was angry. She never cleaned the table and ignored us. I liked it before but I wont go back again. Its a shame.

The atmosphere was ok, nothing more. The service on the other hand... there were only 10-12 people in the bar and the person providing service spent their time texting rather than providing minimal service. Our glasses had been empty for several minutes and we had to get up to get our bill.

Good morning, I went to Jack Saloon Dix30 yesterday and unfortunately had a terrible experience. Heres why: 1) when the waitress took my groups order, my partner accidentally spilled her glass of wine because the tables were too crowded for 4 people. However, this is where the story gets interesting... The waitress pretended not to see the situation. SO: - she did not offer to clean up the damage. - she didnt even bring anything so that we could clean up the mess ourselves. - we had to clean up the mess ourselves with all the paper towels from the table (its not a big deal, but when you pay for service at a restaurant, you expect to have service). There was a big pile of try everything on the table and the waitress never offered to pick it up or bring us new ones. Whats absurd at this point, we saw several employees dancing in front of the DJ while pulling a stack of paper towels in the air for absolutely nothing. Personally, I would have taken them... - the waitress did not offer anything to replace my partners glass. 2) despite the fact that there were a lot of staff on the floor, the service was long and slow. The staff were talking to each other around the bar and walking in circles around the bar. Seriously, it looked like the staff were putting on a fashion show, but the timing was bad. - To get service, you had to wave your arms like shipwrecked people on a beach. - the table next to us was doing the same thing as us 3) the food was good, but it was a little expensive compared to other similar restaurants at dix 30. Hoping things get better

Honestly, we went as a gang of girls for a hen party. We were ready to spend the evening there until the bartender started telling us that we didnt tip it enough. We had just taken 4 rounds of shots (nothing complex, tequila) leaving 15% tips (of course calculated on a total with taxes). When one of my friends later left him a smaller tip on another bill, he started asking us if it was a mistake etc. We had ordered things from him 4-5 times and because ONE person left a smaller tip he started acting out. We told him that his comment was inappropriate given that we had just given him like $20 worth of tips with the other tours... excuse me but I wont give you $10 each. time you poured me alcohol in a shot with no mix or shaker required... and because of that we were going to leave and he said perfect leave I dont care. I have never been so disrespected in an establishment.

Affordable and good service

Great places, a little cramped in armchairs, not many tables on the 1st level for eating, but after dinner, it turns into a club and its a great place as a bar and enough space to dance even in armchair Wheelchair accessibility: It all depends on the day, with some employees being able to enter from the back which is much easier in a wheelchair but other employees dont want to, so it makes getting around a lot more complicated!

If you are looking for a club and be able to grab a bite its the perfect spot. Food is acceptable, service is ok. Boom boom music, ambiance, light show, cruising bar, cocktail would better describe the place than a restaurant. The menu looks great but poor execution from the kitchen. I only been there once so i cant say its always like that. But i doubt ill return. At least not for the food. But the drinks and the ambiance got to me.

First experience...UNPLEASANT! I was there with three friends! Unpleasant experience with an unprofessional waitress who tried to prove to us that we are not right instead of understanding us. We had to justify ourselves for almost 15 minutes to make him understand that the pitcher of sangria tasted not like sangria...but like water! we went to eat meat from the smokehouse...in the end it just wasnt possible for the leavened sides! Finally we ate very ordinary leavened sides: it was dry and super SALTY!

Hello to the jack saloon team at dix-thirty We were very disappointed with the welcome by the hostess and the manager. We had reserved tables for 16 people a month ago for a party evening. Having already been a customer in the past, we had been placed on tables on the dance floor so we decided this time to book in a quieter place in the restaurant on the edge of the garage doors. When we arrived, the hostess showed us our places on the dance floor once again. We asked why and the manager told us that the person who took the reservation was kicked out and that it was our place since another group of thirty had taken our reservation so you favored your income more than yours. customer service. Very disappointed our guests left very early because of the music directly in the ears and therefore you lost sales and therefore positive comments on your establishment. No compensation was offered by your super manager. We had three other restaurants in our list so the next one this restaurant will not be selected.

I arrived from ladies night, in short it was empty, I couldnt sleep so I decided to go out. It was so boring that it helped me sleep when I got home. In short, I was sure that a ladies night at Jack on Thursday evening would be a great evening but no.

...WHILE AN ATMOSPHERE

Had a very positive experience at Jack Saloon this week. They are not a sports bar, but we re very accommodating when I wanted to watch the Blue Jays. Mac & Cheese + Stella were excellent choices. Live entertainment was tasteful, folksy music (Dylan, Petty, etc). Not too loud.

Good atmosphere in general. We had good service, and my virgin caesar was perfect. During our visit, one of the servers had a pajama shirt wide open Otherwise some dishes could be generous and others not enough (Rib dish at +$40, our friend was still very hungry afterwards). Very limited choice of dessert.

The atmosphere is great, very good service and the food is really good (for a restaurant/bar). Since the new management I find that they do a wonderful job with all the events and the little touches with the customers. If you want to have a nice evening for a good meal with friends or even to celebrate a little later I recommend it!

The food is very good! A lot of fat on the meat that we had as a starter but I imagine that s normal! The service was a little long because there were a lot of people but ok anyway. Beautiful atmosphere, there was a very pleasant singer on site!

Boufala starter (fried cheese ball) still very cold in the middle. We reported it, even the manager came to see us to tell us that the cook had cooked it for just 4 minutes instead of 8, however in fact, we were still charged for it. And hamburger portobello with brie....very ordinary!

The Jack is my second home... The only thing missing would be for the bartender to answer my customers calls and make my appointments for my work. But hey, that might be a little excessive...

Price quality is far from what we expect Insect walking on the bar that I killed myself and informed the waitress and she was pushed to the ground!! Were not talking about a fly!! Ribs raised the taste is tasteless More fat than meat Poor quality poutine and limp fries And the price is really odious

At $20.00 for 2 beers, thats not where youre going to get kicked out for a party.

Cold meal not because there were people there, we were 12 people max In any case I wont go back, I really didnt find it worth the price.
