Le Balthazar in Brossard

I visited the bar on several occasions and always enjoyed the service the staff is consistently professional and friendly. However, on my last visits, I noticed that the DJ mostly played Caribbean music which made my friends and I very disappointed since we felt like the music didn t align with the Mexican/Latino theme. The few Mexican or Latino hits played were brief and far between, making the overall vibe feel inconsistent with the bar s concept.

Pour un party de Job. Côté ambiance j ai trouvé ça très bruyant. Ça me correspondait moins. Le service était très bien. La nourriture pour avoir goûté à pas mal de choses bonne. La bavette était bonne, le burger de Bison super, l assiette de tartare de saumon à La poke était un leu triste . Pour 36$ c était vraiment trop cher payé . La raison du 3 étoiles.

Its okay. Food choice just varied enough, not too much. But its not gastronomy. Other Pubs offer higher quality. Its a little empty of customers during the week at lunchtime. Maybe there is some atmosphere in the evenings and on weekends.

Very disappointed with the dishes ordered after our visit to the restaurant in Brossard. I ordered poutine which is not poutine...it arrived cold, not lukewarm, but very cold! a dish which quickly became a gibelotte because the dish was poorly prepared. As a starter a standard plate of nacho with a few chips and almost no toppings...very disappointing On a more positive note, however, the service was excellent, waiters attentive and present. Work on dish preparation and timing would need to be done. Parking: large accessible parking lot

Very good, I gave 3 stars for the kitchen just because it wasnt very hot. The service was super fast so either the chef is a machine or it was already prepared. If you like comfort food you will be served.

A super good Resto-Bar Le Balthazar located on a terrace on the 2nd floor in Quartier Dix30. Excellent place to have a cocktail or an excellent meal under an umbrella. The atmosphere is great and the service is second to none. Parking: Covered parking nearby.

I really enjoyed my evening (Friday September 28, 2024). I live in Montreal North, I took public transportation and the Rem to get there and back, it went really well. I recommend it to you. As a starter, I ordered a Bison tataki , super good . A pitcher of rosé sangria , super good. My main meal fettuccine with beef cheek , excellent. And the prices are reasonable. After eating well, we jumped on the dance floor and the DJ was on fire . We had fun .

I was there with my family for a birthday. I ordered the bison tataki as a starter and the salmon poké tartare. I loved both of my choices. The server is impressive; when taking orders, he took all of each persons orders by heart. He has quite a memory. There were 9 of us. There wasnt a mistake. The only negative is that the music was loud. We could barely hear each other speak. A couple behind complained and they turned the music down. August 21, 2024.

A bar to try. The service is excellent and the food is great even if the choices are not very numerous. They have microbrewery beers that the waiters know well enough to suggest. In addition a singer/musician is present on certain days. The atmosphere is great with good music.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Balthazar restaurant in Quartier Dix30 with my boyfriend, and our experience was simply wonderful. We started our meal by sharing a bison tataki, which was both tender and flavorful. For the main course, I opted for the beef tartare duo with sweet potatoes, while my boyfriend chose the beef flank with crispy fries. Both dishes were exquisite and perfectly prepared. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant, enhanced by a singer who created a friendly atmosphere.

The cocktails are excellent. Superb terrace on the second floor. Portions for starters are generous.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience we had at the Balthazar restaurant at dix-30 on Saturday July 27, where we were a group of 15 people celebrating a party. The restaurant offers free drinks for designated drivers, as indicated on your poster (supporting photo). My partner, who was the designated driver, had three non-alcoholic drinks. However, when paying the bill, I noticed that we had been charged for these three drinks. I explained this situation to our waitress, who replied that, according to her, only non-alcoholic drinks were free, despite what was indicated on the poster. She claimed that she had worked for the restaurant for ten years and that this rule had been in place forever, although she still charged for all three drinks. I insisted that the sign clearly stated all non-alcoholic drinks free for designated drivers. The waitress then informed me that she was going to check with the manager, but came back a few minutes later saying the manager was not available. She ended up telling me that she would remove the drinks from the bill for this time. Additionally, I noticed another error on the bill: we had been double-charged for a spinach dip. The waitress redid the bill, and I paid before leaving the restaurant. Unfortunately, once in the car, I found that she hadnt removed the extra dip.

Ok, place if you cant find anything else. Food was just OK, nothing amazing. Burger was a bit boring on taste. Fries are standard. Basically just standard food. Not worth the price. Also service was a bit slow but probably due to lack of staff. So not the workers fault, but maybe more management.

An excellent restaurant! We went there for the gangs end of year party. The Rib Mac&N Cheese was spectacular! I loved it! The Bloody Caesar was good but I didnt get any toppings like the others at the table :( I would have liked the waiter to offer the possibility of having a coffee / dessert but he brought us the bills hey well maybe another time!

We arrived before 9am and asked them to bring a cake as a surprise for our sons birthday, but they put the cake on the table and left without coordinating with us, and we were very suspicious. The waiters had tired faces and wanted to bring our order in a hurry and start cleaning up the restaurant. And we didnt have a good impression eating in this restaurant. The fries and tartare were not of good quality and we could guess that they were not fresh

Two of us ate beef tartares yesterday, and we are as sick as dogs today. Vomiting diarrhea wont end. Great experience at $150 to be sick, never again. If you are unable to keep your food fresh, remove tartars from your menu and focus on poutine.

I went for a drink with friends recently at Balthazar du Dix/30. There were four of us, and I loved my drunken afternoon. I NEVER ran out of water; the service was fast and efficient. Congratulations to Pascal and Olivier!!!

Le Balthazar (Dix30) is a very trendy place to enjoy a variety of local beers and some very well executed pub fare (and more). Beer prices are very reasonable for the area and the beer on offer, so if you are budget conscious, this is a viable option! I seriously enjoyed the bison burger with sweet potato fries. The serving size was perfect and the food was excellent - certainly worth the very reasonable cost. Honestly? This restaurant has an atmosphere that would cost you an extra $10 per person, easily. Great value and great atmosphere.

We were a big group and everyone loved their choices, everything was excellent, and the service was fast. We had a show afterwards. We were a large group and everyone loved their choices, everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Service was quick as we had a show after.

One of the toilets and the bathroom hand dryer was broken. The band is in the middle of the passage and there isnt really any space to enjoy the music or dance, it was a lack of respect for the musicians.

Four of us went there to eat with friends. The food was very good, the only problem was the waitress. It was maybe 7pm at night and the waitress was drunk on a Tuesday night. She was rude on three occasions, she was angry because she went around the table to order meals and returned to the last person, my friend said she wanted a starter and supposedly she had to start the bill again in full. Little tip, my big one, I work in catering and I ask if customers want starters. Then I asked her a question about a meal and she said, What do you think? in a stupid tone (if I ask you a question its to get an answer buddy). Finally, she came to apologize when we were paying because she admitted that she had been mean and that she wanted to be forgiven because she had been drinking. In short, dont go there if you want to receive a service like this

Its on the 2nd floor of a 10/30 building, welcoming hostess at the entrance, you enter a very large location with an atmosphere similar to sports bars, beautiful soft lighting, friendly and warm waiter who took the time to answer all our questions. Fast service, preferable to book to have a more intimate table (romantic dinner) otherwise a very large bar where you can drink and eat is at our disposal but it fills up quite quickly. Musical group and DJ according to a specific schedule. Ideal for festive evenings with friends and/or colleagues. Great discovery and it made me want to share it with those around me. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free menu Parking: We arrived around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening and immediately found a space in front of the front door, otherwise the free underground parking gives direct access to the building.

Disappointed to be Disappointed: mijoto that tastes too much like sugar, bison tataki too cold and too liquid (chimichuri very good), carbonara sauce...the base of the base: zero creamy sauce, too liquid as if the pasta had been rinsed, large peppercorns, small burrata and zero creamy...I am Disappointed since the place is beautiful, the atmosphere good although too dark. I will not come back unfortunately.
