We waited a good 45 minutes to get our drinks and +1 hour to get our food, it was ok drink too I find it a bit expensive but you pay for the light and the location. There is a good vibe music atmosphere, the customers are creating a vibe and there is a big current of air when the Door opens

We came to Farsides by pure chance and honestly not at all disappointed. Amazing food, we had the chicken skewers, mango salad, pad thai, pineapple tao and braised beef. All incredible but if I have one dish to recommend it is the braised beef! A 10 star for exceptional service, our server Jeremy was great! As for the atmosphere, its quite a young atmosphere, with music thats still quite loud, so take it into account!

Where do we start? We already knew that JEGantic had taken over the Night Life scene in Montreal, but with this new jewel guess the South Shore is right around the corner. Personnally, this branch is way cuter and cozy than the Montreal one. Theres something about it that makes it less corporate. The food never dissapoints, my favorite is the Mango salad which definitely satiates an Asian palate. And lets not forget the impeccable and always consistent service given by Miléna, she makes the ride so enjoyable and worth coming back for more.

The group menu is acceptable but the price of drinks is totally overpriced, the waitress is cheerful but the 18 year old bartender who serves Oz de gey goose for $14 in a glass filled with ice clearly demonstrates my first and last experience time I visit this place.

Expensive for the type of food and quality. We are now at $42 for a burger with fries and a beer (excl taxes and services). We pay for the atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant. In short, we wanted to try it .

First and last visit to this recent restaurant in the Quartier Solar. Our young waiter was very present and helpful but the food is a real wash off. At $35 for fish & chips, I was expecting a really special plate. It looked more like two fish sticks with soft, elastic breading. In short, a flop. My $18 cocktail was not a success either. Sweet juice in a glass full of ice and no taste of alcohol. I dont understand the 5* reviews that sell the quality of the food

We went to Farsides Brossard last Saturday. The music was great, they even had a hip-hop dance performance. My mango salad starter was refreshing and my sirloin was delicious. We were a group of 10 people, and our waitress Amy was very attentive to our needs and very fast!

Having visited Farsides Brossard multiple times, I confidently say its the best spot on the South Shore and arguably in the greater Montreal area for a bite and a drink with friends. I had the chance to discover Farsides for my 30th birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! From the entrance, the staff is warm, the decor impresses with its elegance and warm atmosphere, thanks again to the manager Marco. My dish was simply delicious: the presentation was careful, and the flavors perfectly balanced. I had a grilled chicken salad with lemongrass, which was a real treat! The service was very attentive, it is an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or spend a pleasant evening. I recommend without hesitation!

We booked 3 weeks in advance for Friday. A group of 15 people. The restaurant had another group of around 20 people and around 20 customers, the waitress was ahead of time on the drink, we waited almost 30 minutes before the waitress came to see us! Another 30 mins before having our drinks, 1 hour before having dinner after having ordered, once the plates were served the waitress told two of our people that they would not have their plates because the group at the back had taken the last portions. Two other people have errors on their orders. The waitress came back to take another order that they still didnt have the portions they wanted on the menu, in short arriving at 8 pm and finishing dinner at 11:30 and the two people didnt have their plates yet..... I do not recommend

Pub restaurant with very good but LOUD music, almost impossible to chat with people. The atmosphere is contemporary and modern Parking: There are some free places outside in front of the restaurant. Otherwise, free underground parking 2 minutes away on Fridays after 5 p.m. and weekends, the rest of the week is chargeable

I wasnt a fan of the sweet pineapple on the burger. The staff made my burger again without the sweet pineapple glaze and it was absolutely delicious

Food was mid Drinks are delicious Service was bad Very overpriced for the quality When we arrived, the service was prompt and very nice. The waitress took time to explain some items to us and our waters were being refilled quickly. Our drinks (a$ap strawberry and ginger one) were amazing. Our appetizer was also delicious, the crispy pork belly. But our good experience ended there. The pad Thai was very underwhelming for 30$. The ribeye, which was ordered rare, came out medium/well. I put ribeye in quotation marks because we believe it was a new-york cut. The shape and the lack of fat on the meat were not indicative of a ribeye in any way. For 60$, this was insanely disappointing. We might have said something to our waitress, but she basically disappeared to take care of some bottle service with a group in the back of the restaurant. We (two people) were there for 1:30, while the table next to us who was 4 people with multiple drinks and 3 services, arrived after us and left well before us. They had a different waitress than us. To leave, we had to ask the hostess if we could please have our bill since we had been waiting with finished plates for 15-20min with no service. The waitress from the table next to us (with the patrons now gone), offered very nicely to bring us our check. We were very grateful and accepted. Before she could do so, our original waitress came to see us and said she would bring the bill asap. But asap seems to mean something different because she, again, seem to go to the back of the restaurant and we had to wait some more. Overall, we might have liked to come back with friends even if the food was mid due to the nice ambiance and good drinks, but we will definitely NOT be back due to the bad service.

More than ordinary meal for the price of $235. The starters: pork was overcooked (I hurt my palate a little), chicken wings ok. The tao was overcook which made the chicken very very tough. Fish n chips. Normal plate with two fish sticks and a coleslaw plus McDonalds fries. Canteen presentation. Pad thai, dry noodles lacked sauce and stuck in chunks. The drinks are very good. The whole place is nice and the staff is very helpful and kind.

The place is beautiful. I d describe it as a hip hop chic. There is a DJ in the evening and the music was great. The atmosphere is on point no doubt about that. The service was also good. The man who took care of our table was kind, friendly and authentic. The cocktails and food, I hate to say, was a huge let down. Also extremely over priced. We ordered the Mango Salad and although it was fresh it was bland. Then we had the Imperial Rolls and same thing , bland no flavour. We followed that up with the Pineapple Tao. Guess what ? Fresh but you guessed it , tasteless. We then ended with Thai Basil Rib Eye. This was probably the best dish we had. Steak was cooked to perfection. But the chimichurri and red curry to accompany the steak, I hate to be repetitive, was lifeless. No flavour. The cocktails were alright. Nothing wow. We had the Mango Ginger Smash and Thaiwaiian Gin Tonic. So if your looking to hang out in a beautiful spot, with good music, and overpaying for fresh but mediocre tasting food and ok cocktails, Farsides is for you.

Good overall. The pineapple Tao served in a braised pineapple particularly struck me. Very good with its careful presentation. The Pad Thai is well proportioned and suitable for one person. The Tamarind Glazed Salmon also struck me with its play on textures. Very pleasant for me. Slight disappointment for the 2 spring rolls at $14 before taxes though. I was expecting something a bit bigger, not two pinkie sized rolls. The room offers good potential for the atmosphere, and we will come back to see it with a fuller room in the future!

Service was quick, only because the entire resteraunt was empty (at 6pm on a Friday ). Waiter was a bit misleading, claimed that the dishes were expensive because they were big and meant for sharing, but the portions were insultingly small for the price they cost. Advertised the drinks as being stronger by having 2-3 oz of alcohol per drink but that s pretty standard . Food was good, just the portions were small and the price was a joke. Atmosphere of the place has no relation to the theme of what they are trying to serve. Was a pretty disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

I visited the Montreal restaurant four years ago and loved the vibe, portion sizes were worth the price, however post pandemic that changed. Fast forward, I visited this spot last Saturday, it was during their Soft opening. Place looks great, visually appealing, hip-hop vibe. limited menu for now which is understandable due to recent opening. However, food is quite expensive for what you get. Two mediocre chicken skewers for 14$, 6 chicken wings for 16$ (not the worst regarding pricing), and a general tao pineapple bowl minus the rice for 32$. In my opinion overpriced but I would recommend visiting this place and forming your own opinion. The service was ok despite the waitress returning to my table three times to mention the chosen drinks were unavailable due to missing ingredients. The drinks I did get to try were mediocre, again this may change later when the restaurant is fully set up.

I took the pineapple tao it was really really gross and disappointing. Barely any chicken , dry , full of oil , service was slow although the restaurant was farely empty. 9 items on menu i would expect more i DONT reccommend

A very questionable service, with incredible delays

I live in the neighborhood and was stoked by this new addition. Although it was their soft opening and the menu was limited, I jumped on the opportunity to try it out. The food was decent, the cocktails were great and the service too. My issue is the prices. This is not a fine dining restaurant by any stretch of the imagination but somehow dinner for 2 which included 1 cocktail each, 1 shared appetizer and 1 main course each came out to nearly 200$. 37$ for a pad thai with 3 shrimps. Its almost insulting. Needless to say I wont be returning nor will I recommend it to friends. Very unfortunate indeed because the place has the potential.

Probably one of the best chicken wings I have ever had at a restaurant. The service was good and I especially appreciated the staff being transparent about lack of experience. The disappointment came when you re told that the meals don t come with a side which doesn t justify 37$ for a general tao in a pineapple bowl. I m giving it a 2 star review only based on the price being way too far from what they offer.

Went for an early supper (group of 4) on their soft opening. Great atmosphere and service. We shared the Malibu sangria which was good, and I had the pad Thai which was mediocre. Both were absurdly overpriced. But the CHICKEN WINGS (if you like big, breaded, crispy, and saucy wings) are some of the best I have ever had. If I were to go back, it would only be for wings and music.

Very slow service. This may be understandable considering their recent opening. The prices are simply exorbitant... enough that we wonder if these are portions for two... 2 tiny skewers for $16, a general tao for $37. To make matters worse, they sell you rice for $7 more to accompany the general tao... a pad thai for $35. The pad thai wasnt bad but not for this price. Lets not talk about the drinks at almost $20 each... First and last time for me.

Super courteous staff and beautiful decor. We were well received and advised. My pineapple Tao was incredible! the plates and glasses are beautiful
