8025 Taschereau Blvd, Brossard, Quebec J4Y 1A4, Canada
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, friendly & professional staff (just treat them nicely)! Very unique and authentic experience. Highly fast service speed, I received all eight of my dishes in the span of 20 min. Will come back again.
Even with a lineup, it's not that long. This spot has great selection of szechuan and cantonese dishes. Service is quick as well. Delicious!
We went there twice but found the food not good at all. And this time we ordered these two dishes which were super super oily. Each dish they put very little meat but tons of chili or onions that you didn’t bother to eat. And the beef was heavily marinated with baking soda which gave a very strong chemical taste. No idea why there were so many people queuing up. Would most of the people migrated here years ago and have no idea what quality Chinese food should taste like?!?! Absolutely horrible food and over-priced compared to other much better Chinese food on Montreal Island.
Nice place for Chinese food, especially if you speak Chinese. Lunch special menu is great value and bathrooms were extremely clean.
The interior decorations are really fitting for a Chinese restaurant. The service is friendly and really efficient. By efficient, I mean really efficient. It took less than 5 minutes for the first dishes to be served after we ordered. It's really amazing how fast they serve the food. The food itself is pretty good. The flavours are great and the food is also well prepared. I do however find that the portions are pretty small for the price they are charging. It's acceptable but still a bit small in my opinion.
Tian Fu is always a Brossard’s favourite for szechuan/canto food. The food hits every time we come here and whatever we order here. It’s really hard to go wrong here! For us, we always go for the egg drop soup with tender beef. Super flavourful!
My parents has been this restaurant before but i am 1st time. the restaurant is a bit small, the table space is tight, a bit hard to move. For the food, all dishes we have ordered is good. Hot and Tasty, not bad to have dinner here. Sweat & Sour Pork the sauce is great and great for other food too.........
Food was a little salty but overall good. Rice was overcooked and they replaced it after we let them know. We were squeezed in last minute before kitchen closes, making us feel the food was rushed.. we still had a good souper. Good. Bomb.
Extremely quick service. The food is decent, but tends to be a bit oily.
The best Chinese gastronomic restaurant in Montreal. All the dishes are freshly fried. They taste very good. They don t serve them directly hot (often not hot enough) like the dishes prepared in other restaurants. So come on, Tianfu, we Will visit often.
Excellent food. Good service.
Food and service are very good.
Authentic Chinese cuisine... for those who love it. The menu is in three languages!
Food: The dishes were heavily seasoned with MSG and overly salty, resulting in every dish tasting the same, lacking any distinct flavor or character. Despite the rising prices, the quality remains mediocre. I really hope the restaurant takes steps to improve the quality of their food. Service: During my visit, I witnessed a disturbing scene where a middle-aged man, clearly agitated, aggressively slammed a glass and hurled insults at a group of women at a nearby table, simply because he thought they were laughing too loudly. The restaurant staff, instead of addressing the situation, asked the man who seemed to be a regular if he had drunk too much and did nothing to defuse the tension or ensure the safety of the women. The staffs indifference was alarming. A restaurant that cannot provide a safe and comfortable environment for its customers is no better than a small gang operation. With such mediocre food and terrible service, its hard to justify paying premium prices for an unpleasant dining experience. I definitely wont be returning, nor will I recommend it to friends. Dishes: There is a lot of MSG and the taste is salty. Every dish tastes the same in the end and has no special characteristics. The price keeps rising. I hope the restaurant can strengthen its control over the quality of its dishes. Service: I witnessed a middle-aged man going crazy in a restaurant. In a noisy dining environment, he angrily smashed a glass at the woman at the table next to him and vomited perfume because he felt that the woman at the table next to him was laughing too loudly. Because the man was a regular customer, the service staff turned a deaf ear to the female customer who was insulted and attacked. He simply asked the man, Are you drunk too much?... There was no coordination, no communication, and no stopping of the incident. Upgraded, very aloof. A restaurant that cannot provide customers with a safe and secure dining environment is like a small underworld... I will not come here to have dinner with friends anymore.
An excellent Chinese restaurant. In fact the best Chinese restaurant Ive eaten at on the South Shore. Their shrimp wonton soup is really excellent. We also ate the grilled chicken with onions and peppers and the Singapore noodles. Everything was a delight. And the service is friendly and with a smile. I recommend!
Excellent Chinese dishes quite close to what we eat in China. Added 2024-11-10. Still so good.
Authentic Sichuan food, highly recommended
Such an mismatch of high price and mediocre quality makes this restaurant less and less popular, lots of customers opt to other restaurants instead, how pathetic!
I have eaten in this restaurant before and it was pretty good, so I ate here again today. I don t know if the owner has changed. The dining experience was very bad, especially the white meat with garlic paste. It was served directly from the refrigerator. It was completely useless. The taste was decent, but other dishes were disappointing. Whats worse is that the attitude of the waiter is also extremely bad. When we checked out, we asked for an invoice, but the waiter told us that she needed to keep the invoice. If we needed it, she would take a photo and keep it. Such a service attitude and handling method were really unacceptable. Worst dining experience Ive ever seen.
Impolite staff + mediocre cuisine = NOT GOING BACK. Went here for the first time for lunch with friends. Didnt have enough change so I left about 8% for tips. The lady behind the counter pushed back the cash to us with an attitude. I got pissed off and and wanted to walk away. She yelled at me All CIVILIZED people would tip at least 15-20%. We eventually paying the tips with credit card. On top of the bad experience, the food is not that impressive either. At least not worth your dignity.
We always come back here for the king oyster mushroom dish, which is one of our favorite !
It is very authentic Asian restaurant (Szechuan and Cantonese specific). The staff are friendly. Food come out very quickly after order. The food is tasty but a bit greasy for some people (but I am okay with it). Their signature Tian Fu fried rice is excellent and highly recommended. Price is decent. Reservation for dinner may be necessary. And they have extra charge for large table. So be aware. Call and find out yourself when making reservation.
The worst Sichuan Food i eat. Wont be here anymore It s neither spicy nor salty, and you have to pour the water yourself
they advertise to close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:30pm, there were 3 tables around 20 customers still there. But waitress refused to service claiming they are fully closed at 9pm and will not accept new customer after 8:10pm. please change your hour to 8:10pm, terrible customer service
Everything so salty
Great food and services
Todays beef cubes with black pepper and potatoes had too much beef tendon to chew. Hope it can be improved in the future.
Very poor service attitude
The price is $5 per dish higher than a few months ago. Parking: In front of the hotel.
Very disappointed, such a shame that they sell leftover food, very disgusting. this restaurant used to be good, now quality went down so much while price went up so much, I will never go again, wish there will be decent authentic Sichuan restaurant in Brossard soon, this one become a scam. Dont waste your money go here. Their price keeps going up so ridiculous now, go try somewhere else, the breakfast place near c&t changed owner and turned into restaurant, I will try and let people know, but I am happy we dont need to go to tianfu anymore!
Its ok, too salty and oily
Deliberately use the rice box to hold the soup. Not to mention that the whole car smelled like a bag. The store lacks the most basic respect for customers.
Very good food but very noisy.
There was one dish missing, but luckily the other dishes were generous and everyone was full.
Parking: Food is delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. Food
0 service
The hygiene is very poor, the food is terrible and the taxes are questionable.
The saliva chicken is delicious
Solid choice if you re in the neighbourhood. Food was great, would definitely come back.
Very good Chinese restaurant. Its busy every time I go.
Very fragrant and in line with Chinese tastes
Good food, loudly environment, poor service
Really great quality, taste and service. Even when really busy we were seated fairly quickly and dishes came out soon after we ordered. 10/10, no notes. Parking: Located in a strip mall, theres plenty of parking outside the restaurant.
Great Chinese food! Good service, food prep is very quick! Thank you!
Stir-fried vegetables are packaged, like big pot dishes, and only a little bit
It can be regarded as the best Sichuan food on the South Bank. I ate it three or four times a week for several months a year. I recommend the garlic pork ribs, boiled beef, and two-color tofu (forgot the name, the one with tofu and pig blood). Moonlight in the Lotus Pond , imperial concubine chicken. I often order these. I hope the quality will remain the same as there are not many good Sichuan dishes left in Montreal.
All very good! General tao very tasty !!! Becareful, waiters are very busy!!!
The decor is not welcoming but the food is good. Thats whats important...
Never come back! Not good food, services was so poor and so small restaurant!
Great Authentic Chinese Food to go!
This place is so amazing.
Great food! Good service and family friendly restaurant. New favorite place for Cantonese food.
Very good taste!
Food was delicious
Service was excellent. The prices are very affordable (17$ per person tax included for dinner!) And the food was very well seasoned.
Best Chinese restaurant you can find in Montreal and Quebec honestly they are really good with spicy would definitely recommend if you love Chinese food and have an open mind towards street food or spicy food!
The chicken is undercooked, the beef is undercooked, and the shredded potatoes are filled with mature vinegar. Even if your family is busy during the Chinese New Year, you won t be able to cope with it like this, it s the Chinese New Year.
Home-cooked food, the dining environment is not very good, the food tastes pretty good, it is 20-30% more expensive than Sichuan Weixuan across the road, but the variety of dishes is much more, it is a good place for friends to have dinner, but it is used for banquets The environment is almost boring. Home-cooked food, the dining environment is not very good, the taste of the dish is not bad, compared to the Sichuan Weixuan across the road is 20-30% more expensive, but the types of dishes are a lot more, a good place for friends to have dinner, but the dining environment is not good enough for hosting guests.
Beautiful good
good transitional chinese food in Brossard, very favorable, reasonable price, I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
The best Chinese food
Good place to chill
Theres no shortage of Asian restaurants in the area. Its hard to stand out. Food is good and service is efficient. nuff said. Food : 4/5
Very good restaurant. All excellent!
Delicious food with good price, easy to parking
No fuss dining ! You come, wait for few minutes, order , eat, leave The food is good obviously, which explains the non stop crowd on a Tuesday evening . Service is efficient The seating is very basic and tables are fairly close Tofu and brinjal dish is a must have We also had the bamboo shoot Pork onion and fried rice ( name was Yan chow? )
Loved the food here! Its the best Asian restaurant I have visited in the South Shore. Its a simple place, no-frizz, with a wide variety of authentic Sichuan dishes. I look forward to coming back!
Good food and good service. I go there pretty often and both kids and adults like the food. The only drawback is no reservation for people under 6.
True hidden gem Szechuan restaurant. This is the real deal! Authentic, clean, good service, and price!
Amazing food, quick kitchen even if they were super busy. Service was sub-par with difficulty getting glasses of water or utensils.
One of my go-to neighborhood restaurant. I tried many of their different dishes, but its a hit and miss situation. Most of their spicy dishes are good but the non spicy ones are not always good. I would recommend to someone who wants to try a decent Sichuan restaurant in the neighborhood. Parking: Its in a small commercial session do there are parking for the customers but it depends on the time of the day, i could be difficult to find the parking lot close. Kid-friendliness: Big place so a stroller can go in. Have many highchairs too. Will provide a special set of tableware for kids.
Affordable, busy... The taste is not as strong as Sichuan food, but it is suitable for the general public
The portion is sufficient, the price is good, and the taste is good, but the service attitude really needs to be improved.
It is compulsory to tip at the table and give yourself 15%. The law does not say that you must tip. The food is delicious but the service is not.
Best Asian restaurant on the South Shore. The food is delicious, the portions generous and the service excellent. I had frog legs with shrimp fried rice and shrimp Won Ton soup. My friend had general tao chicken, white rice and a starter of 4 imperial rolls. Having known this, me and my friend would have ordered a little less because we got enough for two people for two meals each. Very affordable prices. I highly recommend it
Excellent Restaurant, good seating , great service, amazing food choice on menu. Our first visit and an amazing discovery because we needed to find a restaurant exactly like this for food outings as a couple and with a group. Will be definitely going back with friends for them to discovery and new place as well. You will not be disappointed with the place. Vegetarian options: Lots of choices Parking: Excellent parking right in front of the place Kid-friendliness: Yes
The food is average. When the waiter served the soup, the soup was all over the edge of the bowl. I didnt expect it to be slippery when I took it out, so I spilled half a bowl of soup on the table. Several waiters pretended they didnt see it and didnt clean it up. They just put the dishes on top. They were speechless
Food is delicious. Will go back again.
The waiter said last call was at 8:30, but when he arrived at 8:05, he said he wouldnt be able to accommodate us anymore.
Never had Chinese food as salty
Eat it at least twice a month! The rest of the comments are redundant.
ridiculous experience their food was ok. but service is terrible. we were havong dinner, a few waitress were talking so loud . it was alright, but a minute later, they started talking about colonoscopy..... made me want throw up! I ask them stop it. they were not happy and no aplogize at all. never go there again.
Horrible service, poor quality food,
super fast this time and taste still the same as before. the price increases which is normal. this time the service is not that good but acceptable
Basic
Delicious
For authentic Sichuanese, the food is just average. Maybe the dishes we ordered happened to be the chefs weakness.
I really liked my first experience.
Excellent food but terrible reservation system First of all, if you are 6 people group... dont go. They dont accept reservations if youre less than 7. We were 6, so we couldnt make reservation. If you are 4 people... You may have more chance than 6 or 5 because there are many small table for 4. But if you are 5 or 6 People.. you have to wait some big table for 6 will be available. We waited for 1 hour while watching 4 people group who came after us got tables. So, I dont suggest to go there if you are 5 or 6. Food is excellent, by the way.
We ordered chicken fried rice and general tso chicken. Food is good for the price. Quantity is good. We went to front desk to pay the bill. I skipped the tip and made the card payment. The lady at the desk told me the customer tip is mandatory and you have to pay minimum 10% for server tip. I am not sure why the customer tip is mandatory here.
The taste is okay, but can you please wash the vegetables? There are a lot of worms in the salty pork bone and cabbage soup.
The food tastes good, one of the few Sichuan restaurants that is not too salty or spicy
Delicious but a little bit too oily.
The most cost-effective Sichuan cuisine in Nanan!
A cost-effective Chinese restaurant, I will come again, the service is good!
One of the cleanest and most beautiful Chinese restaurants in the south shore... unfortunately food was horrible
good
yummy food, it came out quick
17.99+tax for this little?!?! two half bowls! what a scam! the worst restaurant!!
Half portion for big price. Not recommended
Really bad! Super small portion for $17.99! Really not worth it!
Best asian restaurant on the shore imo. Very consistent with the taste and fair pricing.
Not the most friendly service. Food wasnt outstanding.
The cashier with a bad face cannot speak human language, I wish you a prosperous business
Good portion, good taste, good service, worth coming here often
Good Chinese food
Succulent, very spicy and tasty dishes. Generous portions and good value for money. The colors, textures, the scent of the dishes, WoW. Best Asian restaurant Ive tried. Attentive servers. Clean and pretty place.
The pigs feet taste good, but too salty, the spicy chicken is all leftover bones and tails, and they are fried too hot, the Maoxuewang pig intestines are a bit big, and the portion of the dry-pot beer duck is too small (a small stir-fried beef is added at the end, which is super salty) , made us wait for ten minutes, said he missed it) and asked us to leave a 10% tip
It tastes terrible. The beer duck and spicy chicken are all leftovers. The fat sausage smells like not being cleaned properly. A tip is mandatory.
Relatively low price for a reason. Terrible taste. Avoid by all means. Inexplicable taste, stingy ingredients.
Celebrated Mother s day with family there. Waitress recommended a veggie dish (water spinach) which was hard to chew, and also turned out to be one of the most expensive (it was not listed on the menu). The lady at the counter was cold and slight rude - and literally asked for tips
When you enter a Chinese restaurant full of Chinese people on a slow night (Monday) You know you re at the right place. Of all the dishes we tried, I d say the cumin lamb was superior, but we enjoyed the experience greatly. Even the service, which isn t a Chinese restaurant forte usually, was quite decent and friendly. I definitely recommend, if you can eat spicy food of course. While there was non spicy Cantonese options we went for the real spicy Sichuan dishes so I wouldn t know how they taste. On a side note, you can bring your own wine.
Very good
Tianfu is the most delicious Chinese restaurant in Montreal, with large portions and affordable prices. The pickled pepper chicken offal I had today was delicious and the portion was very large.
Taste amazing and authentic! But prices are really overblown in the past 2 years. Not only are the dishes way overpriced, they have also reduced the portions.
This is the kind of Chinese restaurant that Im willing to call authentic and am willing to drive all the way from Montreal Island to Brossard to enjoy! Yes, it is tasty , hot and spicy in Chinese way! If you like spicy and savory food as much as I do , I am highly recommended to you, my friend! My go-to dish has to be water boiled fish , this is a literal translation from Chinese name. You may find the name itself a little deceiving, there is literally a layer of red chili oil on top, but trust me, its youpo style, meaning the layer of red oil is just there to enhance the flavor of the Sichuan peppercorns , sheared garlic and red chili flacks . The underneath broth is super flavorful, packed with tons of umami of bean paste and all the good stuff. I would say it is 2/5 spicy level. Try it, and youll like this water boiled fish/ beef/pork style!
Great value, delicious food, just a bit too crowded sometimes.
Fantastic tasting food
Fu Qi fei pian tasted bland, barely any meat in general Tao chicken
Its a good Chinese restaurant. Its authentic. Yeah.
Wonton soup was also tasty.
They don t allow you to bring any food, so if your kids have allergies, don t gothere
Daily menus are displayed from Monday to Friday until 2:00 p.m. but the restaurant does not honor them. Its June 26 and were still giving the excuse that its the feast of St. John the Baptist. First and last time in this restaurant! I dont recommend.
Excellent Chinese restaurant in Brossard, a must, frequent visits guaranteed. Pleasant surprise.
Good BYOB spot. Best Asian food in the Montreal area Food
Place is dirty! Menu is sticky! Table is sticky! Bad service! Not recommended!!
My go-to restaurant for sure
The food is average, not authentic Sichuan cuisine. The only advantage is that the portions are large. There is a mandatory 15% tip, and most of the waiters have a grimace, and they are most likely being squeezed by the boss. I definitely wont go there a second time.
Good quality authentique Sichuan food.
Food is very good, service has had its problems.
Food was good, service was good, but room for improvement. Some of the food was a bit dry for example.
Tasty plates and very consistent. The service is quick and efficient. The portions are rather large and are designed to be shared, but I would recommend to order the same number of plates as the number of guests in the group, so the more you are, the more you can try! It has been our go-to dining spot for over a year now. Edit: It would be great to have another option than Hungry Panda for the delivery as they dont deliver further into South Shore. We couldnt have it delivered where I reside in St-Bruno.
Very impressive Chinese food Very different way they do the food Ive eat alot Chinese food since many years. But at this restaurant you will be find out another taste I recommend Food : 5/5 |
I liked the food. Its hot, spicy tasty fast. Price is not bad, I go for lunch special. $13+tax A lot of food are spicy so if you cant take the heat, I dont suggest this place for you. Also, it tends to get noisy/rowdy in here. Food : 5/5
It was too salty.
Noisy, food is ok if you like spicy.
Great food and simple fare! Have eaten here a few times and never disappoint so far . If you are not sure what to eat, they usually have pictures of dishes so you can have an idea of what you are ordering. For those wanting to try very Chinese ingredients like ducks cheeks, beef tong or intestines, they prepare them pretty well. But not everyone like the sound nor the texture of those .. they do also have regular dishes that will please simple eaters who do not want try something odd!
Good food and fast service. Very crowded and loud. Go there for food only
Great busy ambiance . Fresh and affordable.
The best Chinese food I have enjoyed. Very authentic
Again! The same dishes, the same taste.
Very delicious! I didn t expect to be able to eat such spicy pork liver in Canada and it s so delicious. The waiters and waitresses were also very nice.
Wonderful chinese food. My parents and my girls all loved it I ordered some spicy food which satisfies us, some non spicy food for kids. Both are good flavors. Highly recommend. Food
Tasty food and quick service! But the tables are so close to each other not enough space in this restaurant. Come here if you just want to eat some authentic Chinese.
Good food.
Good food
Often very crowded in afternoon, sometimes need to wait for 15 minutes. Very good reputations, very good food, very affordable price. For spicy lovers, just mention it to the waiters. Don t forget the tips, they deserve more than 15%.
Maybe you need 1or2 more waiters when you are busy. We waited a long time for a table (2 people), and long time to find a waiter to order food. Parking: they shared paring lots with other shops. sometimes easy to find a lot, weekends may hard to find
Food is not surprising but delicious and the service is nice
I think it is the best Sichuan restaurant in Montreal.
When I came to Montreal for the fourth time, I finally came to the Chinese Quarter.
Spicy but tasty. Service was fast. Need to réservé before cuz there à lot of people
Very bad experience, no care whatsoever for customers. Food was too salty and the wait was very long. They brought have of the order and the other half was ready literally after 30 minutes. The cashier was very rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. STAY OUT OF THIS PLACE
Always delicious and by far the best in south shore. I especially like their sweet and sour pork and beef fried noodle on so sizzling pan.
Great food slow service. Very busy restaurant. Clean. My first time here. I enjoyed the fried rice and hot and sour soup.
Very good! We had an excellent duck dish, the salt and pepper shrimp/squid was good. The eggplant dish was also very good but I was the most impressed by the chow mein. Easily one of the best Ive ever had.
Very good, delicious! Fast service. Simple atmosphere.
Food are delicious. Always line up during the dinner hour. May increase some waiters and waitresses in the weekend to help improve the customer service level
For those seeking authentic classic dishes, Tian Fu is the place to be. The menu includes all the classics, and the portions are generous.
Great food.
Very busy during the dinner hours. Food is very good. Service is average to good...most likely because of the volume of business. Atmosphere.....Asian Food : 5/5 |
Don t sell leftover food. This is the minimum.
Always good, take out or in, never had bad service and food is good.
There are no, but i will put zero. We order fried noodle and we ask not put shopsuy and they come to see us and say we need to charge you 3$ because you DON T want chopsuy?? It s ever this happen you ? How it possible?
So delicious
Very good Chinese food in the Brossard area
Enjoyed very much their food. Everything was tasty! We were 4 people! The service was also excellent! Thanks
Tian Fu in Brossard is a true gem for lovers of authentic Sichuan cuisine. The flavors here transport you directly to the heart of Sichuan province. The Mapo Tofu is a standout, perfectly balancing the numbing heat of Sichuan peppercorns with rich, savory undertones. The Gong Bao Chicken is another winner, showcasing the bold flavors characteristic of Sichuan dishes. The menu boasts a wide array of options, allowing you to explore the diverse and vibrant culinary landscape of the region. The ambiance is welcoming, and the attentive staff enhances the overall dining experience. Whether youre a spice enthusiast or simply appreciate the depth of Sichuan flavors, Tian Fu is a must-visit destination for an authentic and satisfying culinary journey.
The food tastes weird, $150 for 2 people is very expensive. On the other hand, the service is good. The meats are ok, the tomato broth is ok and mushrooms. On the other hand, it doesnt taste much... the most disgusting peanut sauce Ive ever eaten. The sauce choices are ordinary, but the vegetable choices are very good. Charge $10 when you dont like a food because its considered wasteful... Allow several hours to go to dinner. The concept is great, but we need more variety for the choices. Disappointed with the food and the price.
My favorite chinese restaurant. Taste and flavor is very nice. Men staff is kind, good service and friendly. If you like chinese food, Tian Fu is a must visit! Especially the bold flavors characteristic of Sichuan dishes.
First time eating there , the food was very good, price reasonable. All of us appreciated the meals.
