I booked a week ago for my friends birthday, I arrived on time as agreed. I was told that there were no tables available except at the bar despite my reservation made a week in advance, a big disappointment. We left.

The scoter was delicious, I recommend it. Excellent service from Alexandre, our sommelier for the evening. The only negative point I can say is the portion of the dishes otherwise 10/10

Thanks to the recommendations of our waitress, who is passionate about her profession, I was able to enjoy an orange wine which perfectly complemented my dish and added incredible depth to our gastronomic experience. The plates were great. I really liked being able to taste several dishes. For the atmosphere, the light was too low, we could not read our menus. The music was good and a little too loud. We are there to talk but we cant hear each other and we have to shout.

A must on the South Shore! Although the prices are about high average, the quality of the food and mixology more than makes up for it! The service is impeccable; several waiters/waitresses come by and ask if everything is to our liking and the water refilled every 3 minutes (fun fact: I dont I wouldnt die of thirst if it was every 10 minutes but we appreciate it! Original to share style menu; half starters (we took the homemade focaccia and the fried stuffed olives) and half meals (we took the truffle pasta and the crab pasta). Everything was excellent. The cocktail menu is concise but more than extravagant. There we find twists on our classics as well as creations from the chef. Large wine list still to be explored on our side. I asked the bartender for an off-menu cocktail of his choice with a particular spirit to satisfy my whiskey thirst; exercise which he succeeded brilliantly. Finally, the atmosphere is very nice; casual chic type with good music and a huge disco ball that spins in the center of the bar. Nothing too boom boom, but loud enough to get you in the mood. Ideal for a dinner with friends, but you will still have to raise your voice a ((minimum)) level. Nothing to damage your vocal cords, promise. I highly recommend!

Everything was very good. The only problem was waiting for our food (at least 2 hours before eating). If you improve this point, it will be an unmissable place on the south bank. I would still like to highlight the good work of our waitress. The spag crab is really good and special!

Warm and professional welcome from Gabbie, who took the time to explain the menu and specials to us. We had the Jerusalem artichoke soup of the day and the tuna starter followed by the duck tartare. It was good, although it lacked a bit of seasoning for my taste, but hey! A little salt and freshly ground pepper and that was it! Small hiccup: the cocktails (very good actually) arrived after finishing the soup, I would have preferred before... Its good, not too expensive and friendly, well come back :)

My boyfriend and I had dinner on the terrace. As for the atmosphere, it was particularly warm with its hanging lights and plant arrangements! What can I say about the service received! We received such good advice in terms of food and wine pairing!!! Besides, our choices were delicious, colorful, tasty and out of the ordinary! We are honestly ready to offer a 10/10 rating on our dining experience! A gastronomic pearl located on the South Shore, to discover!

First meal in Canada for us. A delightful woman waited on us and spoke very good English. She was fine with our not so good French. Our Italian white wine was perfect with our shared plates. Very relaxing after a long car drive. I would go again.

Me and 6 friends got there at 18h30, it took forever for the waitress to come get the order. The food arrived around 21h. We were starving and had run out of drinks. They offered us free deserts to share (3 for 7 people). I didnt have expectations of the place, other than being served in a timely manner. I would not go back there, the food was ok, nothing spectacular, but waiting sooo long to be served drinks and to get the actual food, was really frustrating. I also found it very expensive for such bad service.

Lovely physical resturant but the service is just terrible. It took like 2 hours to get our food, we are talking about simple dishes that would take me 15 minutes to make, it took them over 2 hours. It was very frustrating and the waitresses were not responsive to our repeated requests to hurry things up. To their credit they re offered one tiny keylime pie and two terramisu also tiny. We were a party of 5 so we each got a tasting of that complimentary dessert . Will not go again. Hope they get their act together as the ambiance and location are very nice.

I went to eat at the refreshment bar last Thursday, then I noticed that they had a big evening seen in the restaurant traffic and the short staff , although the wait for the drinks and the dishes was longer long, ALL were delicious, then the advice and choices for wine are sick! I loved my waitress, she paid attention to detail and to our table, even though she had a big evening! I really recommend La Buvette, not only for their menu, but for their wonderful atmosphere and friendly team. I think it happens to everyone to have big parties, we just have to be understandable, people do their best

Nous y sommes allés pour dîner. Le restaurant est super beau et chaleureux. Dès notre arrivé, le service était A1. Nous avons pris la table dhôte et tout était bon. Nous avons dégusté plusieurs vins et le sommelier nous a conseillé de façon impeccable selon ce que nous cherchions. Je recommande fortement pour tous ceux qui aiment bien manger et bien boire.

The food was amazing and so were the drinks and wine. We only ended up staying for 1h30 because we felt rushed by the waitress. after our meal we sat chatting with our wine and the waitress kept asking if we were going to order anything else. By the third time, we just decided to ask for the bills. The ambiance was great but It got a little dark in the restaurant for 9pm.

Hard to remember how it looked before as Element. They did a great job remodeling. Only major downside is their beer selection is awful (the place used to brew their own beer and now we have the obvious mega-brewery junk), at least they have good cocktails to compensate. Food is quite expensive for the portion size, but you have to pay for the nice decor, plus the food tastes very good!

The food was exceptional and what can we say about the service we received! Professional and attentive Parking: Huge and close.

We shared the snow crab pasta which was a solid 11/10! Creamy sauce (and dark because of the squid ink), pasta cooked to perfection, and the crab meat was sweet! The best crab pasta I have ever eaten in my life! As the waiter told us, they were making 3 servings tonight and that was it. Luckily we arrived early enough to taste it. The beef steak was excellent, cooked to perfection, 9/10 - however the homemade potato chips were soft and the sauce was bland, or maybe its because there wasnt much of it and that it was spread out and scattered in thin streams on the plate. Personally, I would have liked to have the sauce in a small container for dipping. As for that, dont add sauce, it increases the cost of the dish even though its pretty useful just to decorate. The burrata tasted less good than the Saputo burrata from the grocery store. The beetroot mash was excellent, and the toasted walnuts were fantastic. We had a starter of homemade focaccia, then another, the bread was so exquisite! And the butter was very good. We also had the tomato salad with crispy chicken skin, and it was, with the burrata, the weakest point of the meal. The taste of the eggs disgusted me because the mayonnaise was so garlicky, the tomatoes were good but nothing extraordinary, the goat cheese was okay, the chicken skin too (the chicken skin from a quarter of a thigh to benny tastes better, even if it is not dried and presented in chip form). The beer on tap (I took a Stella Artois, normally a safe bet) had no sparkle at all and was room temperature. A Stella Artois bought at the maxi next door for a quarter of the price would have been really, really better. The gin and tonic, which came in a glass full of broken ice with slices of cucumber, was exquisite, and tasted as if they had put cucumber syrup in it. My sister had a cocktail called, from memory I think, Monique s worst margarita and found it exceptional. Overall (considering taste and price) Crab pasta: 11/10 Tab: 8/10 Focaccia: 9/10 Burrata: 6/10 Salad with tomatoes, chicken skin and goat cheese: 5/10 Stella Artois: 1/10 Gin and tonic: 9/10 Margarita: 10/10 (according to my sister) Vegetarian options: The homemade focaccia is exquisite! Parking: Lots of places, very easy, free. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small sidewalk to climb to access, but the sidewalk slopes to the right.

I was on my first visit and WOW! What an atmosphere! We were welcomed by a very friendly waitress. Unfortunately I dont remember her name. (It was 5:30 p.m., Friday the 22nd. She was blonde) As we didnt know the way of the restaurant and there were 8 of us, we were able to reconcile both meals and wine so well. A whole variety of menus to share in a group....We will definitely return. Parking: So nice to park. Often for this style of restaurant you have to go to Montreal and immediately upon leaving its $20 for parking, often two blocks from the restaurant. Yes, long live the south shore

First time for me. Very beautiful decorations. Chic and tasteful. Small starter of fries arranged in a beautiful way. It was good but not a favorite. The shrimp risotto on the other hand was perfect. Our server Alex, his professionalism made all the difference, in our opinion the culinary offering needs to be improved in terms of diversity, it was OK in terms of quality but I would have expected better.. As for the food, it comes in a sharing formula and honestly, everything we ate was delicious! Personal favorite for the duck tartare and black cod!
