Main dining bar is on ground floor. Basement games room is not accessible, however.

Huge bar area with a patio on Brant St. There is also a large dining space. I normally go for lunch and drinks and I always have the Dorito Salad! OMG! SO GOOD! Ive also had the fish tacos which are yum but messy. The staff are lovely and never get anything wrong. Its very woody (tables, chairs, bar). If you are looking for something high-class, this isnt it. But, its a great space to watch the game with friends. Parking is pretty easy with green Ps all around.

Wednesday Night wing night was fantastic with many flavor choices. Joe Dogs accommodated our large group smoothly. Definitely be back! Great prices and awesome service.

We host our daughters birthday party here. This place is absolutely amazing. The food is super good, and the host goes above and beyond. I highly recommend it to anyone. Parking: Municipal lots ,free in evening and weekends, same for street parking. Also paid parking are very low cost.

Friendly staff and good service

The manager outright refused to entertain us when it was only 11:45 PM. It says online that they re open till 2 AM. He made us leave from the patio yelling at us that we were to leave and he would not allow us in. He even slammed the door in our face aggressively. Personally I did feel a slight hint of racism considering he didn t even wish to look at me and my friend. I ve been to countless places in the world and by far Canada is one of them but this made me lose trust in its people. I would not recommend anybody going here and if somebody I know would wish to go here, I would apprehend them and convince them otherwise.

Friendly welcome, quality and quick service, and great food. The cheerful atmosphere and the tireless, smiling staff provide late-night service, unlike many businesses in Canada.

The food is overpriced and it is not worth it. The worst thing about this place is that they have a retro arcade in the basement but you have to rent it and it costs a minimum of $300. Dont they know they have an endangered species in their basement? This place is unfair and overpriced. I dont recommend it.

Menu is very disappointing, however if you are just looking for a nibble it could be good. The chicken wings were $19 and you only got 6 on a plate with some celery & carrot sticks, but the Cobb salad was worth the money since the portion was massive. Depends on what you want I guess. The server while we were there seemed annoyed and didnt give off the best vibe.

Joe dogs was in the past such a great spot for breakfast and lunch. Terrible service and disgusting food. Our food was cold and served wrong to our preferences. Our server spent more time talking to the regulars instead of serving customers.

My son and his friend and I went to Joe dogs on Saturday night I am 63 years old and because my son was paying for my drinks I assumed I didnt need my purse which I had my ID in it. We took Uber to Joe dogs and when we got out of the Uber we were asked for ID I told them I was 63 and I had no idea on me and they said it didnt matter they were very rude to us. This was a treat for me as I never get out and I have to say how disappointing I am that they treated me this way Im almost a senior and they had to be so rude and would not let us in. I will never go back after being treated like this.

Very noisy on a Friday afternoon

Great night out with the family. We came through the back entrance, and were greeted by a manager. We asked if we could have a booth with the video games for our two children 3 and 7 year olds. We picked out booth and within 2 minutes the menus were on the table and our drink orders taken. The server was great and super nice and playful with our kids. The food was great, we got chicken strips and fries, deep fried pickles and side cesar Salad for the kids. I had the 40 creek burger and my wife had the zesty dorito salad. The food was excellent. Lots of tvs to watch the canada soccer game and the UFC fight night. All in all we had a really fun time.

Service and atmosphere were great, but I literally got GLASS in my drink and waited up at the bar for 5 minutes and no one even came up to me, all i wanted was a refund. It was cool, but i d think twice before going again i guess

While sitting at the bar and the bartender Jammed a debit machine at me before she even finished taking the order. Wanted to order food but was not given a chance. Even after asking about it was not able to get a menu. To top it off the drinks were not right.. over all a very disappointing experience.

I came here with my friend the other day, unfortunately the patio was full so we went in and sat at the bar, We previously got handed a free sample drink prior to entering the bar and did not have a bag...but some how the manager saw and ran right over to us. he rudely told us we need to put our outside drinks in a bag because they could lose their liquor license, which is cool and I totally understand but to approach paying customers in such a rude manner was disgusting and disrespectful. He has zero customer service skills and should not be working in hospitality with an attitude and customer service skills like he has.

Staff was useless, drinks were mediocre and pretty sure I sat down and immediately contracted an std. I ve never been to a bar where the staff watch you accidently spill a drink and then continue to watch you clean it up while staring at you like a deer in headlights. If you re young and dumb, this could be the bar for you!!

Please remove loaded potato skins from your menu. A baked potato cut into 4 pieces ($14) sprinkled with a few green onions is not potato skins. Sad and very disappointing. Will not return.

Parking: The parking is behind the building in a municipal lot but you don t necessarily know that until you see the signs! Recommended dishes

1. I called to make a reservation for 15 people on the 15th of March. Asked if they had wheelchair accessible area, and they said yes . 2. Upon arrival, we were seated in a small area in 2 separate booths where my wheelchair friend had to abandon her wheelchair because they didnt have any area where we could all sit together at a regular table. THIS WAS VERY DIFFICULT FOR HER !! Also, there was NO RESERVATION UNDER MY NAME. Whoever answered the phone that day when I called just left us hanging!!! 3. How the hell are you supposed to talk to anyone when the music is so loud! ??? This was a reunion for a group of employees, and we could barely hear each other!! I am very disappointed in the fact that we were led on to believe we could have what we asked for and what one handicapped person required.

The food, staff and vibe are always amazing. I love coming to Joe Dogs! Best place in Burlington! I ve been enjoying this place for decades, literally!

I visited this bar last August, hoping to catch a CFL game, being Canadian and all. However, when I asked the bartender to put it on, I overheard the bouncer telling her, Were not putting on preseason football. Despite clarifying that I wasnt asking for NFL preseason, they refused. Instead, they had tennis on, which was a disappointment.To top it off, during another one of my visits, when I went to pay with my American Express Centurion card, the manager saw the name Nikki and asked if it was my moms card. The manager didnt bother asking for my ID or any confirmation that I was actually Nikki. Since he questioned me about my name you would think he would? It was almost as if he didnt believe I could have a Centurion card and seemed bitter. Completely unprofessional behaviour all around. Havent been back since and have been telling everyone about my experience.

Edited to add details: Thanks for responding! We ordered the chicken fingers/fries from the kids menu, and the nachos. It took me a bit to figure out why something like nachos was able to turn out badly, but I brought most of our food home and realized that the nachos tasted quite burnt; they didnt look burnt though, so maybe they were in the oven with something that had been burnt..? Unfortunately, both dishes were lacking in seasoning as well.

We had a group birthday party last night it was a blast amazing place food and very lovely employees, I do not know the name of the manager in charge that night (March 2nd) but he was really decent gentleman Maddy took care of us and the night was a memorable blast for all of us because of her.. thank you very much Maddy there are no words to describe how amazing you are..

Slow service

I liked this bar for the first hour, then a much younger crowd than I am came in, the music was turned excessively loud and it was sadly no longer enjoyable. Too loud for my tastes. It was a Friday night, so it may not always be this way. PS they have a good selection of Cesear cocktails. Parking: Located on the (east) side of the building.

Terrible service, even as a sports bar you would think the service would be customer oriented and friendly. Throwing a couple beers on the table and walking away does not constitute service. Even just a smile would have been nice.

If I could give half a star I would. First of all, if youre going on a Friday or Saturday prepare to not be served. The bartenders are EXTREMELY rude. It took me over an hour to get a drink which whatever, I can understand on a busy night. However, I did not tip because I was given attitude and It was a small bill anyway. The bartender literally told me she was now refusing me service because I didnt tip.......Like what if I accidentally pressed no tip and it was a mistake...to refuse service? Also they tried to fight my friend in the line when he was simply just asking why no one was getting let in when people were leaving. DO NOT GO HERE.

Great atmosphere after the Chilly Half Marathon. It was busy but the service was still great. Only reason I give it a 4 star is because I found the cap from the Sriracha bottle in my fish taco. The manager was very quick to come over and right the situation, with humour I might add (nice touch ). The meal was discounted from my bill. Ill be back next time we are in the area.

Great Time with Great Wings and Pizza!

Terrible experience. Large pizza 18.99 Then $6 extra for each meat item And $4 extra for veggie . So I got pepperoni on the whole pizza , One half was bacon Other half was mushrooms . Costs 18.99 + $6 + $6 +$4 = $ 34.99 for large Pizza 17.99 for eight wings ( a pound ) And 3 half pints where $24 Grand total $ 77 bucks . Before tax . $93 with the tax Totally gouching people Listen I know covid was hard on small Business. But no wonder people are staying home and drinking at home and making their own food . Not a good experience Over $100 with % 15 tip . For large pizza 8 wings and 3 half pints . Items charges were almost as much Pizza . And barely any items on it . Not the Joe Dogs I remember from 10 years ago . I would give Zero stars but it wasn t an option . I might even pay to get it ... lol . Why not I just paid $16 for pizza items .

I recently visited this establishment with two friends and was extremely disappointed by the service we received. We were denied drinks by a server who claimed her manager said we were too drunk to serve due to a stumble even though none of us were stumbling or showing any signs of being overly intoxicated. When we spoke to the manager, we discovered that he had no idea why we were denied service, and there was a clear lack of communication between the staff. It was frustrating and unfair to be judged based on false assumptions and to be denied service without any valid reason, especially when the call made goes against several smart serve guidelines. I cannot recommend this establishment based on our negative experience.

Great service on a busy night. Wings and sweet potato fries hit the mark. Great atmosphere for a game.

Overall, it wasntbad . I like to go and enjoy their Caesar cocktails every now and again. Until most recently, when I went they served it in a small whiskey style cup instead of the regular Collins glass. Probably could have still enjoyed it if it wasnt overpacked with ice, or atleast stirred. 2 sips and it was gone. Thanks for the kids sized drinks for the same old regular price.

My roommate and I decided to try this place before going to a movie. The staff was very friendly and suggested somethings to try. However, I didn t like the fact that our nachos were burnt and we paid $15.00 for 1 pound of wings (when there were only 7 wings). Our enjoyable dinner was also disrupted by a large family sitting behind us, whose son kept screaming loudly because he was losing at his game. Most likely will not go back to their establishment.

Had a great experience at Joe Dog s for my birthday! Loved the patio which was dog friendly! They even brought a bowl of water over for my dog right away, didn t even have to ask for it! The food was great and big portions the fajitas for two were tasty with leftovers too! At the end of the night they even gave us a complimentary desert for my birthday! The service was also great!

horrible experience we re visitors from Virginia and the first time in this restaurant. The server ( KATIE) treated us rudely and made us feel uncomfortable, refuse to change a drink as according to her they re all the same!!

Table of 3 sat at noon, didn t acknowledge us , watched servers walk by and serve a table sat beside us. Few mins later , our drink orders and app order was taken. Waited until 12:30 , not even waters brought to our table never mind the drinks we ordered. Got up and left. Service has always been a hit or miss but really get it together.

I was there for a retirement party and it was a fun time. The staff were very friendly and the drinks went down refreshing. I did not order any food, so I cant say much on that, but from what my friends ordered, it hit the spot and they were all happy. A great place to stop in as they have this tekee bar outside, and thats a good place to hang out and lots of seating. Enjoy!

I am absolutely adoring the new chefs menu. I LOVED the roasted veg sandwich and if you get a chance, try the arancini balls because they are now my new favourite food. The guest I was with also ordered from the elevated menu and WOW!! What an amazing experience. The Caesars are awesome too. Ive never had a bad experience here. The tiki bar is definitely a fun experience as well!

Been to Joe Dogs quite a few times over the years and even go in with my softball league as they sponsor a team. Always enjoy my experience. However I went in barside on Sunday with 2 girlfriends for a round after dinner. Everything was good; bar wasnt very busy yet as it was still pretty early. Were paying our bills and mine for 1 beer is $8.76 so I put down my payment which is $10.75 because I like to bring the servers tip to an even toonie; 25% tip. In my wallet though I only had 2 quarters, 2 dimes, a 1 nickel to do this. The server comes back over after weve all paid and loudly and rudely gives me back the 2 dimes and a nickel. Stating here you go, take this back, we dont count this here. My 2 gfs were taken aback by this rudeness immediately. For myself I had to process it. Im a server and would never have the audacity to be soo rude to paying guests tipping 25%. Curious if this is how staff is trained in the establishment or if was just the choice of a self entitled young server who needs to be trained a lot better or perhaps let go. Was served Sunday August 13th at roughly 9pm, sitting barside on a 4top table.

Love this casual atmosphere restaurant

Food was not good, all 3 of our meals tasted bad. Kids hamburger meal, steak salad, pizza and wings. Pizza was so thin the toppings wouldnt stay on at all and half the pepperoni was not even cooked. The hamburger tasted mushy. The steak salad dressing was just unsettling. Wings were good but we got 7 wings for 17$. On top of it all our hands and arms stuck to the table. We have come here a few times before under the previous owner and it was amazing. Im not one leave reviews but this was very disappointing.

Our server was great, the fish and chips not so much. Overall a nice place, Im guessing this was a one off with the food. It probably wouldnt have mattered if I wasnt as hungry.

Was disappointed with this place. Arrived around 10:50, and the server took a long time to serve the table. Order drinks and asked if kitchen was open. Server came back 10 minutes later with menu and said she checked and it was open. Placed order for the food server, came back again and told us kitchen was closed. Was also not impressed that all the tables on patio still had dirty plates left at the tables with guests still sitting. Would not recommend this place.

Went recently , food came out hot and delicious, serving staff were quick, and friendly, and the band was fantastic!

Very entertaining dining area each booth comes with a small tv and a gaming system to enjoy whilst you wait for your drinks and or food, which should take no longer than 15mins (from my experience). Surrounding you is your typical vintage bar atmosphere with many TV s showing whatever sport is playing. Food is nothing special but slightly better then your typical neighbourhood bar. Service was adequate.

Joe Dogs has some very good wings. Their patio is one of the nicest for a bar/restaurant in B-town.

Great source for a party in the rec room

The bar/restaurant area is good. Food is great, prices are reasonable and staff have always been friendly. Unique to Joe Dogs in the Underground and all the retro video games. Weve used it 3 times for staff events and its been perfect.

Went on Friday night. Great atmosphere, dj was great. Ordered chicken wings and beer. Wings were great! I was surprised with the lack of local beers on tap..there were none. Would have been a 5 star if they did.

We rented the basement for a party. With open bar The spread of food was fantastic and delicious. Lots of variety .our server/bartender was friendly and fast .the atmosphere was lively. And the Retro arcade was addictivally fun it brought back some nostalgia. we will definitely come back in the summer to check out their patio .

Went for bday drinks with friends. Classic bar food, drinks priced ok.

Loved it but moving around the arcade games they all seemed sticky.

Food was great, the service was excellent. The only issue I had was the music volume. Call me old but I like to converse with friends and it was difficult to do this here.

We decided to have our Christmas team luncheon at Joe Dogs (as this location is near our workplace) and really enjoyed the dine-in experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the different dietery restrictions of our team members. The food was also delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back for future team outings. Thank you! :)
