Ordered Herbal tea, lemon , it was a strong black tea with no lemon flavour at all. Couldn t drink it. Was told that the lemon tea is black tea. My friend ordered decafe latte, it was old decaf, very muddy, adding milk did not help. First and last time I will come here. Very disappointed.

Would not give such feedback usually but its really HORRIBLE !!!!! OK its downhill has started... Used to be a good spot...but the new staff is horrible. We went here for lunch...firstly the order was not taken completely...secondly the coffee came even before the food although we told them to hold it until the food is done. We asked to take it back but they sent it back (coffee was horrible anyways as well). Would not recommend this until the staff is changed and who knows what is customer service.

Nice atmosphere, decent service, But Terriblemisu Cake Went to the Williams Fresh Cafe for the first time to have coffee and dessert with a friend. At the counter, I saw a row of cakes, and the Tiramisu cake stood out as Tiramisu is one of my favourite desserts. Once I got the cake, the dark powder topping and little ladyfinger biscuit were the only thing this cake had in common. I took two small bites and found it was dry and bland - not at all what I expected, given what I paid for it. I brought this to the attention of staff and was told they could replace it with another similar piece of Tiramisu cake or something I didnt want but would have to pay for. That was the best they could do as well as inform their bakery. I believe that if you sell any food, you should stand behind it and ensure it is top quality. Because Williams Fresh (would use that term sparingly) Cafe did not they get 2stars.

Being retired and like to talk I have daily group sessions with friends discussing world affairs. We all find Williams Fresh Cafe Brant St Burlington an excellent gathering spot . Amazing service and food. Unbeatable friendly staff and ownership resulting a pleasurable experience on every visit. We experienced many Burlington coffee shops over the years and none compair to Williams . To sum up, a great place for gatherings or a peaceful breakfast/lunch. Parking: Mall parking

I love this Cafe, the people, the food. The 2 stars is very temporary. I was there yesterday and was shocked by how dirty the glass dividers and the back of the booths are. You can see the dust from a distance. I was in a hurry, otherwise would have told someone on my way out. I will definitely change the review later.

I love this place!! Great food, good service. I live in Mississauga, but many times I make the drive specifically to eat here. My only complaint is that they close at 7pm, so you gotta arrive 6ish tops, in order to have proper service. I would come more often if they stayed open longer.

We went to Williams by chance on 1st Aug 2024 looking for a place to relax and have some breakfast. At the end we came out with a Wow What a great place it was. The food was excellent and the lady in charge was so nice and helpful. We had travelled there from Qatar to see our son and she took time off from the work and started explaining how Hamilton and the surrounding areas are and what places to visit and see. Her husband too was seated close by and was very helpful too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting that part of the world or driving through for a short break. Absolutely love this place!! I had a banana nut muffin and a raspberry lemonade that was not only amazing, but was served with kindness by Harold who completely made my day! Staff is so so nice which only adds to the cozy environment. Young girl named lee was also very kind to me and was making the washrooms spotless !!!! Overall, I love this place and it will now be a part of my self care day!

The staff is so rude they charged me for the wrong order and wanted to charge me more for the right order which I already paid for!!! and they started making up words on my behalf saying that I ordered something else and they refused to refund me my money. When I asked to speak with the manager she was also very rude and disrespectful she didn t let me explain the situation and asked me to leave!

I think the head waitress should get fired. She was also rude and complained about me using coupons off the app. I spent $10 on a sandwich and don t understand why she was treating me so hostile (the coupon was for a small free coffee). Even though the food was amazing the other Williams are also really good. Her sour attitude made me not want to come back to the establishment. Even though the other workers were just amazing making sure I was satisfied with my order if she didn t like something I did she would approach me and attempt to argue. I was going to order more but felt extremey unwelcome so I opted to leave instead of complaining.

Staff are great except for the manager. We didnt know that london fog and chai lattes are now made with a sweet sugar syrup instead of tea. We couldnt drink it and when we told the manager she said thats the way it is and just leave it on your table. End of story. !

Sitting in williams today I was served by a young guy who seemed new. He was doing a great job being attentive to his customers. Later on he was talking to a table of ladies who appeared to be enjoying his company for what appeared to be about 1 minute. All of a sudden this older lady who seems like the boss comes out and interrupted him while he was talking to his customers and says Corey, the bell just rang (the order up bell) in one hell of a rude tone, as such he was forced to say goodbye and sorry to these ladies and run the food. There was alot of people already standing around. Ive been in the service industry a long time and this is absolutely terrible management skills. If was was screwing around thats one thing but to be interrupted when connecting with customers is horrible. I hope this place sees new management soon and I feel sorry for people having to work with these types of people. (Update) someone made a small error which forced the server to make a small detour when delivering food. Apparently it was a mixed up order number. The old lady acted like it was the end of the world. you guys need to pay attention and got angry with them. The food made it to the right table and everything was fine. Lady if you are reading this you need to be a little more understanding with these kids. You should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourself.

Old white lady was incredibly rude. All the other servers were amazing but her. This is the second time I ve come here and she s been extremely rude.

TLDR: rough service asking for a remade drink. Would suggest anyone with anxiety tries somewhere else Had a terrible experience this week! Made a pickup order for a couple coffees, one a black iced americano that tasted like the espresso had burned or the machine needed cleaning. I went back in to explain and the employee (white woman with white/silver hair) saw me coming in holding the drink and seemed confused and annoyed. I explained the situation and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said There s no sugar in it. I agreed and she asked so what could have burned? I tried suggesting that the espresso may have burned and she told me they ve been making the coffee all day. I think I had a stunned and confused look because she then said If you want me to make you a new one I can but it ll be the same and you can taste it and tell me if it s different I felt entirely embarrassed. I said ok and she scoffed and went to make another drink. It took maybe a minute. She placed it down and said Try that, I did nothing different It tasted slightly better, so I said that and she kind of threw her arms up and was like well I don t know . I thanked her and told her to have a nice day then left.

The rudest service I ve ever received. Ordered an unsweetened matcha and after the first sip I had to ask for it to be remade as I could tell it had sugar. The young ladies making the drinks were very sweet and realized the matcha powder was already made with sugar and so I asked if I could change my drink instead. The girls seemed to have no problem but the old woman with white hair had the WORST attitude ever, going on about how ridiculous it was to ask for a matcha unsweetened and acted as if changing the drink was a big deal even though I had already paid. No fault to the young ladies but the old one should not be in hospitality! If someone is diabetic and can t have a drink with sugar they shouldn t have to hear her complain about it to other coworkers infront of them. Feel bad for any customers or employees they have to deal with her kind of attitude

Overpriced tiny $12 sandwich. Small size so not a good value. The service staff brought me the wrong one. Blamed me for ordering wrong even though the girl at the register spoke poor English. Manager finally gave me the right sandwich with a large side of attitude.

Lovely place for tea or soup, or date

As a visible minority, it was already uncomfortable being the only one there, but I also got spoken down to and humiliated in front of my partner by 2 white women workers because I pointed out that they got my drink wrong. As someone who worked many years in the customer service industry at managerial positions and is deeply familiar with industry standards of operation, it was the most baffling and blatantly disrespectful treatment I ever recieved.

Staff was nice, but they say on the menu vegan options available, but the woman helping us at cash didnt seem to know anything about it. It was disappointing since it says there are options when there doesnt seem to be any. I was with a group of friends, so it was a bit awkward just getting black coffee and no food. I hoped for one option, a muffin, something. Advertisement was misleading. Not the place to go for those looking for vegan food/options with friends.

They served me raw pastry. I was super hungry so I proceeded to eating most of it. The center piece was inedible so I finally told a server and she told the manager. They did nothing to make it right. Their excuse was that I have ate most of it and I should have told them before eating it. Yes! I should not have ate it because now my stomach is churning.

A long time favourite since the 90 s location near Pearson airport. Love their ability to customize a menu item. It can get kinda busy if you re using it as a meeting place to conduct business.

We had soup of day which was Spicey Thai and grilled cheese both excellent as we had a combo got a deduction coffee is always good. There are so few cafes like this in Burlington other than the usual fast food outlets Williams has such a varied menu and the desserts lok fabulous.

This cafe is a gem! The menu has a fantastic selection of food, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend this cafe - its a must-visit!

They are literally everywhere! Its the equivalent of Tim Hortons in terms of food and drinks, but I think its better. They do table service too. Small sandwich and lemonade to start the day! Large parking lot.

So I show up with my 5 month old puppy hoping to get some food on the patio Im told I can sit on the patio as long as my dog doesnt disturb anyone. Im left there for 25 minutes in the heat so finally I ask why i didnt get service or even a bowl of water for my dog. Sorry we dont do table service here. Or apparently bring water to puppies , or bring out a menu or maybe let the customer know he has to come in and leave his puppy tied up outside. Unfriendly is one thing but really a little water for a dog. Ad this place to very pet unfriendly

My daughter ordered food for me from this Cafe when I was sick and unable to get out. It was delicious and I had no idea the cafe was so close to me. Ive been there a few times since and I love the food. Had a smoothie and it was delicious and the price was decent today Im going there for the soup and sandwich on my way home from shopping.

Got a chicken Caesar wrap and an iced coffee, the wrap came with a side of creamy coleslaw and a half pickle sliced length wise, the wrap was loaded with chicken which was nice and tender not dry or over cooked, the Caesar dressing used is delicious, the coleslaw was not overly acidic and was nice and crunch, the coffee I got was pretty standard but definitely better than McDonalds wasnt able to pick out the flavor shots of coconut and vanilla but it was nice and sweet

A great place to go for a relaxed Saturday breakie. I love the ambience of this particular Williams location. Nice comfy booths and the staff are smiling and so friendly. It s within budget for breakfast and my egg platter came out nice and hot steaming, in fact. Oh, and coffee in their big mugs awesome. There s no hurry to leave. Just chillin with my hubby and son and enjoying a good meal and conversation on a rainy Saturday morning.

My wife and I met there yesterday for a mid afternoon lunch date. We had the roasted red pepper tomato bisque, it was excellent. I also enjoyed their Druxys classic corned beef sandwich.

I was hoping this would be my new go to cafe, since I m new in town. Service started off good, until I was verbally assaulted by one of the servers for forgetting to ask for almond milk in a drink. I had offered to pay for a new one. The manager I spoke to was very rude and condescending. He sits out in the open with a mess on his table. Still very distraught with how I was treated.

A great place to meet friends or enjoy a moment on your own. Every time Im in, it is busy, but still has a table or two open. Menu is not big, but meets many cravings. Staff are lovely.

Walked in here with my family. The cashier was sitting on a table with friends socializing. We were looking through the dessert area which had 3 desserts left. The cashier came to us and rather than greeting continued onto attending her personal phone. Disappointed we headed to Demitris next door. As we walked out of the place the cashiers friends sarcastically said have a nice day. Hands down the worst experience and a place run by a bunch of kids If the owners care to check this happened at approximately 3.40pm on Saturday March 5

Always inconsistent. The food is tasty but is never the same in terms of quantity and presentation. Just got home and half our order was wrong. Our fault for not checking but the front end staff are always so nice and seem to have it together we just trusted they had it right. The kitchen on the other hand is the exact opposite. The managers need to pay closer attention to the product being delivered. Not impressed.

Great staff, good coffee but the floor always needs a sweep, even at 11:00am in the morning.

The staff here are very friendly and polite and the coffee/ food is always of good quality. The only negative thing I have to say is that the overall appearance of the floors is untidy and dirty, even early in the day! Its obvious that they seldom get cleaned!! Washrooms were untidy with garbage cans overflowing and toilet paper all over the floor.

Great corned beef sandwiches

Food was great but I was disappointed to see how the two older ladies talked to their staff. They seemed very grumpy and unnecessarily gruff with them. I suspect there is a fast turnover of staff at this café.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and decided to grab a bite to eat. The chicken pesto sandwich was so delicious and all made fresh. We also had a chocolate twist pastry that was absolutely delicious. The coffee is great as usual... the staff was so friendly, happy and so pleasant. We did not realize that they were closing and the owner herself came to us and said please stay even though we are closing. :)

We went to this cafe spontaneously over the lunch hour and we found it just amazing!! They have multiple healthy options for lunch or snack along with a great coffee. We ordered one of their flavored latte and it was heavenly. Giving five stars to this cafe.. Positively recommended!!

I dont like complaining, nor do I ever give bad reviews due to fact it may just be an off day... However the older male Owners attitude towards my asking why is it that I have to pay more money just for hot water added to a 1 tea bag cup of tea was downright -dismissive -deplorable -and disrespectful to the point where even when I tried to get an explanation for his attitude, he maintained a staunch air of disrespect, turned his back on me, & went back about his business. Ive actually been going there for years (through, numerous different owners), and never had an issue or problem - but this was enough for Me, NEVER to go back, and also let ALL in my extensive circle exactly what type of disgusting temperament & attitude youll receive if a question to difficult to answer, is asked.

The staff were great. They were friendly, made me feel welcome and were more than willing to help explain the menu items. I ordered the Rubin sandwich. It was good, but a little soggy on the bottom, but that was likely from the sauerkraut. The interior itself was depressingly dark and dated. We couldnt wait to leave. I know its a cafe, but there was no warmth. The decor was very generic and almost hostile. Its not a place I would like to being my friends for an afternoon out, which is a shame, because the food is really good. Im not sure of the look the desiger was going for, but it feels more Highway reststop than a cafe. Once again, the staff were wonderful and were the saving grace of my visit

If you order iced coffee beware it comes insanely sweet, you have to specify you dont want sugar or sweetener, even though the description says nothing about that. No problem I would know for next time, except that when I asked about it the manager said it was my fault and they arent doing anything about it. Mistakes happen but bad management and no customer service isnt a way to ensure you have returning customers.

It was some hot day and my queen had a hankering for something cold to drink...well as we know Williams from many different visits... There were milkshakes just yearning to be down our seniors throats....we opened up throats to absolutely delicious drinks.... beautiful experience...oh yes there is a new improved ordering system happening. Well the phone is now available easily to connect with Williams. More good news, the techie guy and several staff members loaded the system for us.. no grandbabies around and Williams family of good customer relations sure was evident.. a good time, a fine experience? Absolutely...yes we love Williams...welcome back

Decent breakfast, fantastic waffles, very good coffee, very good value for the money.

Four staff sitting around on their phones when I came in. Ordered 2 sandwiches, still no food after 20 minute wait. I asked to cancel my second sandwich (hungry kid waiting in the car!). The sandwich I actually got (turkey club) was soggy, globs of mayo, cold meat. Overall terrible service, food quality, and no supervision over staff, who appear very young and unprofessional.

Friendly service. Decent food. Socially distant tables were appreciated. Coffee was lackluster and cake was stale.

A little busy inside and out. Cakes and cookies all look great. Our coffees were hot but not HOT. Vaccine and IDs requested, making and spacing respected. (No mask while eating, drinking)

Theyre doing an excellent job of ensuring you can have a good experience dinning in. Full proper checking vaccination (QR + ID), same lovely service as pre-pandemic. Thank you, starting to feel relatively normal again.

No covid screening at the door. I was there for almost 2 hours and nobody was checked.

Hands down the best frappuccino Ive had from a shop. If you have a sweet tooth, the Maple-Caramel Frappuccino fills both the sweet tooth needs and caffeine needs right from the first sip.

This is one of the weaker Williams. Covid seems to have had a big impact on this location.

I was meeting a friend for lunch at Williams and I was delighted to find their vegan option, wrap. It was delicious. The coleslaw on the side was a nice touch. This wrap was great.

What a horrible experience, the food was terrible and stone cold, the manager or owner is absolutely AWFUL! Because I complained my food was stone cold and wasn t happy she started arguing with me, so unprofessional! Won t be long until this place is closed down.

Ordered specialty coffees. The festive peppermint latte left a chemical aftertaste. The butterscotch mocha just tasted like syrup. Staff were nice and efficient though.

Delicious lattes. Service was a little slow... but then again, every place is running low on staff these covid days.
