Gave this place a try because I live in walking distance. Literally some of the best bone-in jerk chicken Ive had in a long time. Cant wait to try their other meals.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lenas Roti and Doubles, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm aroma of freshly baked roti and the friendly smile of the staff. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Caribbean dishes, and I opted for the curry chicken roti, curry duck with dhall and rice, and of course 2 doubles, which did not disappoint. The roti was soft and flaky, and the curry chicken was tender and full of flavour. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with vibrant colors and lively music that added to the Caribbean ambiance. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured that our glasses were always full and our plates were never empty. Overall, I highly recommend Lenas Roti to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Caribbean dining experience. Cant wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!

My entire family was there a couple of weeks ago and ate there at least twice for our vacation. We all agreed that it is the best roti and doubles we have ever had! My family is from Barbados and New York and have eaten a lot of roti and doubles.. I loved the boneless goat doubles...It melted in your mouth and was amazing. The service was amazing, the food was amazing and when we come back to Canada, we are definitely coming back here...amazing <3

The restaurant is the cleanest I ve seen in a very long time and the food the food need I say the food is sooooooo tasty and well worth the price!!! Picked up dinner tonight for my family and it did not disappoint. So yummy! My five year old stated multiple times during dinner how much he loved the food.

Excellent food and very friendly service! The chicken curry is particularly good. It can sometimes be a bit of a pain to park in the area and the dining area isn t the most comfortable but that shouldn t be held against establishment. If you are downtown or work in the area this place should be a frequent lunch location.

Oh my god was the first reaction I had upon receiving my food. Sorry to mention a competitor, but I thought a certain Hot Shoppe was the only place for roti in Burlington. Sorry folks, but I was wrong, Lenas holds her weight and then some as quite possibly the roti Queen of Burlington!!! (But you will have to try for yourself to see if you agree). I will happily elaborate. I visited on a Tuesday at 4pm, it wasnt very busy but not expected either. I was greeted very kindly by a lady I assume owns/manages the shop, if not she was wholesome, very courteous and obviously confident in the quality of her dishes. I ordered a regular sized boneless goat roti, dhalpuri (chickpea) style. I was scared to order a small as other establishments Ive been to in Guelph charge a lot for such little portions, so I opted for what I thought I would get a typical handheld lunch portion at $17+tax for the reg, but I was mistaken as I received a BRICK! A whole dinner meal the size of the entire paper plate it was served on. And trust me Im not complaining, simply impressed, as thats how it should be! Surprisingly oversized meals not disappointingly undersized (Im a hungry guy, shoot me for it lol). Anyways, this roti was not only large but tasty. Flavourful as Ive always known it to be, tasted homemade not factory made. Huge chunks of meaty yet tender boneless goat, such a savoury curry and the hot sauce was enough to make my face drip, as usual. However I suspect she may have went a little easy on me when I asked for hot, which well, look at my skin colour, understandably so, but it was still fiery enough to satisfy a heat seeker. I paired it with a Trinidad-based Pineapple soda, which had all the perfectly tangy and refreshing artificial fruit flavours I desired to balance out the spicy meal on a hot afternoon. This is one opportunity I always go with an exotic soft drink. And they had a LOT of options for Caribbean drinks, many of which Ive never seen before at any other shop. Im not sure if it just wasnt turned on yet, but there wasnt AC inside the restaurant and it was a little uncomfortably hot (I had just finished a long walk) but thankfully they have tables and chairs outside the glass doors like a little raised patio above Brant St which was perfectly breezy and refreshing. All in all, Lenas is 100% worthy of your next Caribbean lunch/dinner, I encourage you to give them a shot. Perhaps you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was to realize the Burlington roti throne may have been overtaken, or at least given some healthy competition. Monopolies are never good, but thankfully Lenas always will be! Cant wait to return for other staples like a regular Jerk Chicken meal next time.

Small little place off Brant street with a minimalist type feel, but the doubles are delicious and the jerk chicken salad was definitely worth the try. The medium spice for the doubles has a real kick but it balances the flavours well. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessibility ramp.

Very good roti, potato chana. Good spice level. Very convenient location and hours. I will be back often.

Ordered a roti, curry goat and 2 doubles. The service was great, but the chicken tasted like it had been in the fridge and reheated. The goat had very little meat and the meat that it did have was tuff and inedible. The gravy was very oily and the rice was completely submerged, which I also had to dash out. If Im paying good money for food, I dont think that its crazy to expect it to be fresh. To be honest, I most likely wont be returning.

My fav Caribbean halal spot in Burlington! The folks working here are super sweet and efficient. Shraddha keep up the good work! Regular doubles and jerk chicken with peas and rice are my fav meals to order. A must try if you re in downtown Burlington!

I cant believe this restaurant has been in Burlington for a year!! I have been looking for great Caribbean home cooked food for years and had to drive to Brampton to satisfy my cravings because I cant cook curry for nothing! (My grandmother would be rolling in her grave). The atmosphere was calm and the location was so clean and cheery. The attendant was so warm and inviting, friendly and pleasant. I had doubles and got a rice, dhal and curry goat to go, and it was so good!!! The pepper sauce had the right amount of heat. I was doing a little dance while eating my doubles, fuss it was good!! Thank you Lenas for coming to Burlington!!!

The jerk chicken salad bowl is amazing! Very flavorful, spicy and with fresh ingredients. Even the mild is quite spicy so be warned if you don t handle heat well. We re definitely hooked on this place.

I tried Lena before but this lena Roti location was horrible specially parking. Taste was not lena Roti level. My suggestion is avoid this restaurant

Had delivered to my apt. First time! Will not be the last time! The chicken Doubles were amazing as well as the boneless goat roti. It came on rice and not wrapped but defo not complaining! My bad. I love that Lenas is open later unlike most Jamaica / Carribean spots. Small menu but its all you need!!

Stumbled on this place, and the food was amazing!!

My wife and I were staying at the Pearle hotel and were craving Caribbean food, and we are so happy to have this option in downtown Burlington! We got the jerk chicken dinner and goat curry dinner, and both were spicy, filled with flavor and cooked to perfection. It hit the spot! next time we are craving Caribbean we know where to go!

The Doubles are very tasty, however make sure you have some time set aside. The place gets busy and your order may take a while. But definitely worth the wait.

Just had their Lamb Roti for the first time and OMG, was it good. Perfect blend of spices, meat was delicious and very well cooked and the Roti was perfect. I got a medium and it was huge. The lady serving was very friendly which made it a great experience. Definitely recommended. Ill be back. Said Id be back. Had the same again. Sublime. Fantastic.

Let me tell you! I grew up with trinis...and the curry goat was fire! The ladies are so wonderful and kind. This place is spotless and clean...the smell oh the smell reminds me when I was going to a cook out and the goat was cooking in the garage in a massive pot over a burner. The pepper sauce is amazing and would be great in a chow! Maybe in the summertime they will have some along side with some achar. Delicious! my new favorite spot. Thank you See you again very soon

We were referred to Lenas Roti recently after feverishly trying to locate a Roti Shop in Hamilton, being relocated from Toronto. On1st calling the Burlington location, we were greeted so very pleasantly by REN, who guided us through the menu. After receiving said information, we had decided to visit the location. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the visual appearance of the restaurant and its layout. We were then greeted by PANM, (Miss P), a most pleasant personality and welcoming guide, who provided taste tests as to enquiry, to make a decision, followed by REN. Being Trinis ourselves, we were very aware of what a good curry content should taste like. This was pallatibly wonderful, then decided to order 3 dhalpuri rotis, one chicken, one jerk and 1 goat returning home to savour. The experience was absolutely delectable. We will return for a most delicious and pleasant experience, both culinary and atmospheric welcoming. With much thanks to REN and MISS P, we will certainly recommend Lenas Roti to family and friends. I was so happy to see this restaurant open up here in Burlington. Even though she is not my mum her cooking hand is just like home in my heart.

I had a double and chicken roti. So amazing!! And peardrax to top it off. So yummy. Fast service & lots of options. The inside of the restaurant was really hot, but it definitely added to the vibe. Great music too. I will totally be getting my doubles from here going forward Food : 5/5

Good place to get Roti.

The jerk chicken and rice and peas are not worth $15+ they dont serve peas but beans instead. I ordered with NO added spice and the plate was freagging spicy hot and I was not able to eat it due to allegies. Dissappointing

AMAZING. food and staff was awesome!!! We ordered doubles with a side of buss up shop ( oil roti) The ladies there were so kind and hospitable. They offered for us to try the goat curry broth with my roti and gave of some pepper sauce on the side. Very nice experience. Food : 5/5

We tried the curried chicken, veggie platter, and doubles and everything was delicious! The portions were well-sized and great value for the price. The curried chicken had lots of meat, the doubles were flavourful with just the right amount of heat, and the veggie platter had enough food for 3 of us! The staff are all super friendly as well :) Highly recommend!

Authentic Food

I just moved to Hamilton from Toronto and I cannot find any good food from back home. This spot does not disappoint real authentic flavors. The heat is amazing. It literally burns my mouth usually when they say it s hot. It s not even a mild but this place if it s hot, trust it extra hot. 10/10 love always coco

The food is amazing. You need to try the doubles they are fantastic and if you get the rice extra gravy is a must! The staff was super friendly and took thier time to explain everything on the menu. I would highly recommend coming out here!

One of the best places to have Doubles in GTA. Their distinct mix of spices and chutney is what makes the difference. They have a decent place for dine in as well.

Visited the location today. First I want to say that I m Trini2dbone, have been up here 34 yrs and I have tried many Caribbean restaurants that sells roti, doubles etc this place is da best! Doubles amazing just like back home, roti melts in your mouth soft like butter. It recently opened in Burlington and it s a must try you wouldn t be disappointed guaranteed you will be a returning customer.

My wife and I stopped in today and we each had their excellent Chicken Roti. A nice bright location with friendly efficient staff. As a rule we dont frequent chain restaurants but this restaurant is an exception. Good home made style Rotis. Good to see a new location with a busy takeout and dine in business.

Worst doubles for a Trini place. Chicken Roti is full of salt, no seasoning, dhalpurie has way too much Jeera - just ate raw Jeera. Sad was expecting more.

Absolutely the best Caribbean food in Burlington. Not overwhelming spice rather a good blend of tasty spices. Mango Chutney is the best I had. Jerk Chicken absolutely good. The veggie combo is my go to now. Trinidadian food is awesome. Vegetarian options: Veggie stuffs more tasty then meat here.

Really had high hopes that we would finally have a good Trini shop here in Burlington. Chicken roti flavour was nice and great cuts of chicken. Chicken was dry and the roti fell apart and couldn t even be held. Potatoes would have appreciated in the curry as they would have helped to soak up some of the moisture and likely have prevented the roti from falling apart. Doubles were too wet, too sweet, and very heavy on the Shado Beni. Pepper was the right level of heat, but was all heat no flavour, which as a Trini is disappointing as a good pepper sauce is a staple in every household. Overall, the chicken roti was very tasty and good value for money. The doubles @ $3 each are IMO overpriced for what you get. I will likely try a plated dinner next time as the curry would have gone great with rice. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options to choose from! Parking: Street parking is available out front and around the corner. Wheelchair accessibility: Mall front is wheelchair accessible

Amazing service and incredibly authentic! Our public school hosted our first International Food Festival where we ordered and showcased 40 Doubles with 4 different chutneys that the Manager selected for us, the doubles finished in less than 10minutes! So happy to have a delicious Trini place come to Burlington. The food is fresh and tastes authentic with lots of selection! The chicken curry, and doubles are excellent.

Better Jerk Chicken than Jamaica. Seriously. Spent two weeks in Negril and the jerk has been toned down for the tourists. We had the spicey hot chicken on the bone. It made my nose run in a good way. A good favorable hot - rare to find. It included a double for free. Not sure I enjoyed it to tell you the truth. It was mushy and didnt enjoy the spice. But the jerk chicken was to die for.

The food was fantastic. I asked for extra spicy and indeed it was spicy enough. So good! Hidden gem.

I ordered the curry chicken roti, and I have to say I m very disappointed. The Roti skin alone was falling apart, not because of too much gravy, but the texture was very doughy not palliative the curry chicken fill-in not too sure what kind of curry mixture they use not enough spices seasoning flavour was very poor. A lot of chicken, however, it tasted as if it was boiled instead of cooked down. I did also order doubles have to say was very on point as for curry chicken went straight in the garbage

Really pleasant staff ready to serve up any tantalisingly delicious menu item. Jerk chicken bowl with right infusion of spices that takes you to the Caribbean and back, the double with chickpeas and a curried chicken wrap with a balanced touch of spices. They had quite a few juice drinks from the Caribbean as well Grace coconut water but the best was that tetrapack Grace peanut punch. Parking: Metered parking available on Brant extending both ways from the entrance to the building. Had to drive a little and return before parking became available.

Large chicken roti is very big and it tastes delicious. The service was very good! They were very polite, smiled lots, and even gave me something to try. Their doubles are also incredible, and again the serving size is great! Best Caribbean food in Burlington, and far better service than the other places too. Highly recommend!

Wife and I had Curried goat roti and curried goat with rice and beans. Xtra hot. Really enjoyed them both. Went back in and bought chicken roti for the mother in law too.

We tried Lena s for the first time today and really enjoyed it! The service was exceptional. They were so friendly and kind, offering us extra cutlery and plates for our kids. The food was yummy, made fresh per order. And, reasonably priced to top it off. We ordered 3 chicken roti and they were so filling. Definitely recommend!

We love love Lenas Doubles and Roti. We usually purchase from the Financial Drive Location in Mississauga and service is always amazing, food scrumptious and delicious. Was driving in the downtown area Burlington and saw there is a location on Brant Street. Will definitely be coming there as your Burlington location is so much closer to our home. Guys you absolutely have to give this place a visit and I am sure you will become a fan in absolutely no time. Vegetarian options: Being vegetarian I usually get Channa and Aloo Doubles or Channa Doubles Dhalpuri and BusUpShut are our favourites (it is the most super soft melt in your mouth roti) Their Chataigne is absolutely amazing and their Curry Mango I also get the bagged treats when I go there Currants Roll Kuchela Sugar Cake Fried Channa (Snack it is spicy but we love it) Dhal and Rice (gotta try that next) Their menu is loaded up with so many of my faves: Okra, Pumpkin, Curry Mango, Channa, Channa and Aloo Too many choices One thing is sure you will not go hungry! thats for sure Parking: Brant Street is a super busy place but there is lots of municipal lots with reasonable paid parking and there is street parking also with street parking meters.

You shouldn t have East Indians running a West Indian store on the weekends they don t take Lenas business seriously. I called on Sunday July the 30th 3 times and the phone was hung up on me someone kept slamming it. The 4th time I called no one answered. I just wanted to place a small order for pickup nothing serious. Unfortunately after this service I went to the store physically to see what was going on. I was let down by the quality of the food I had received. My roti didn t look fresh off any grill nor did the bhara of my doubles , it tasted like precooked reheated food we take for lunch from home. This tasted nothing like the Lena s in the GTA. You don t even have pholourie ? Skunt bai

Have only ordered in, but the food is absolutely amazing! The goat roti is fantastic, the chicken on rice is perfect, and the doubles are so good you might forget the rest of your meal.

The food is delicious

The service was good but the food left something to be desired. $17+ for the regular size jerk and rice and peas plus a pop. Ive eaten a lot of jerk chicken in my life but never with rice this colour. The taste was OK but it didnt taste like carribean jerk, mostly coriander. Left disappointed.

Always fresh. I usually stop by and get their doubles. Great food without feeling too stuffed after. Give it a try if you ve never been here, won t disappoint!

I visited this place for the first time. And for sure, I ll be back. As soon as you enter this clean place, you feel hungry. I got the jerk chicken roti, and a piece of cassava cake. Yummy!! I parked on the street, but they have parking on the side.

Noticed Lenas during a visit downtown and had to stop in. The smell was amazing. What a treat! Amazing rotis (goat and chicken) and cant wait to go back. Please open up in Dundas. If I lived in Burlington I would be a regular. If youre eating burgers and fries, or frozen fried foods from chain restaurants AND you have this place, youre missing out on the good life. Let me tell you, everything comes freshly made to order. Their specials are understand and the portions are worth the wait. I ordered a small curry goat roti and the portion was massive!! This was my first time here. My friend suggested that I needed to try this Trinidadian spot as they have such fresh food and ice cream flavours that youll come back for. The coconut and soursop ice cream was so flavourful. Im sure well be back for the food again. Might I suggest you try a double. Descriptions of some of the items are included around the shop. The ladies behind the counter are so sweet!

Have been there a few times now, every time is the exact same experience, warm welcoming and fast service. We love the flavors. Not just my family loves this place, all my co-workers love it too. From the doubles to chicken salad and roti, nothing we dont like about it. Hope it stays the same.

Oh my I have been craving doubles for so long and I stumbled upon this while driving and drove around the block. Such good flavour. Right spice and sweet and chewiness. Everyone was on point.

One of the best rotis I ve had in the GTA. Should change the name to juicy roti because my roti was so juicy. Also had a double, and it was double the flavour of other doubles I ve had. Would Come back 100%.
