Welcome to Rose Garden a traditional family restaurant serving classic Canadian breakfast, brunch, and dinner dishes since 1987. Our cozy and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff will make you feel like part of the family. Come visit us and taste the difference!
Great food and great service. Will come back whenever we’re bird watching across the street!
I popped in just before they were due to close, but the host was very accomadating, and although it was a limited menu, they still made a vegetarian meal for my wife whilst I had the beef sandwich. Large free car park.
It's been a while since I visited this restaurant and today my aunt decided we should visit again since it's been a long time. Our server was very sweet but a little bit slow on checking on us and bringing out the food as well as bringing the bill. It wasn't overly busy either. The food was tasty and the portion size was good. We just ordered breakfast for lunch. I've attached pictures of our meals. This place has been here for a while and the inside is pretty dated. The furniture has seen better days. We also had a couple of ants hanging around our table after the sugar jar. It's your typical diner style place. It's a nice quiet location if you're looking to just have a simple lunch.
Perfect spot for lunch during a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington. A simple choice for excellent food in a family restaurant setting. Photo is the Turkey cranberry brie grilled cheese.
If you're looking for a hassle-free dining experience without the mess of cooking at home, look no further. Rose Garden has everything to satisfy your appetite. I ordered a simple 3 egg breakfast and it was delicious. Rose Garden offers the comforting taste of home-cooked meals and the service is great too :)
The Fish and Chips looks good, it comes with tartare sauce and a lemon wedge. I like the crispy chips but more would be better. The overall size is smaller than before, perhaps the cost of food increased in the last 18 months! The fish is a little bit too greasy; the taste of fish is good. Personally, I like Fish and Chips come with coleslaw; but they took it away from the new menu, I hope it will come back in the new future.
Our food was excellent. Had a Greek salad and the bibimbap. The Greek salad tasted fresh, was a good size (we shared among 4 people), the dressing was delicious. The bibimbap comes in the hot stone bowl which not only keeps the food warm, but cooks the rice on the bottom layer. This ended up with some portions of the rice turning crispy, which was absolutely amazing. The bibimbap comes with a spicy pepper sauce and soy sauce, which elevated the dish. The portion of it was also huge, good value for your money! The service was good, the Korean lady working here is super friendly and you can tell she really cares about the restaurant and it’s patrons. They did seem slightly short staffed but we didn’t wait long for service or food. This seems like the kind of place with a lot of regulars, the hostess greeted someone by name at the front as I was walking in. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of in this place was the atmosphere. Feels a bit like you’re stepping into a diner from 20 years ago. The outside and the inside are just kind of old and has a grey feeling to it. Look past this and our experience was almost perfect!
This is a nice family restaurant. The food is different but good. The waiters are busy but take the time to be friendly. Even the chef takes the time to bring out food and talk to people to check if they like the food. The food is a good value for what you are getting. The place is always near full. We have been there a number of times after a visit to The Royal Botanical Gardens and we will continue to make this place a part of our routine when we go to there
This is heaven!
The place was packed, down staff, and our reservation of 22 got incredible service and excellent food!! They even cut and served our birthday cake!! Very impressed!! Try it out folks!!
Old style family fare with some Asian dishes too.
Good food, good service.
Terrible food and service. Roast beef was dry, hamburger and all fries were cold. 2 turkey dinners cold. Service attendant was rude and service was slow. For Thanksgiving you think they would be on par. Will not recommend or ever go back.
After hearing great things about Rose Garden, I finally got the chance to try it. Hubby had a hot turkey sandwich, flavours were spot on. I had the legendary Bimbimbap. It was all it was hyped up to be. Server immediately sat us down and drinks and food came out quick. We will definitely be back soon.
Everything Ive tried is wonderful
Was really good!
We were very impressed withe the portion size and quality of our breakfast. The service was excellent and we would certainly consider coming back when we are in the area.
We had a great lunch at Rose Garden. We hosted a group of 8 and all of our company enjoyed the restaurant and suggested coming back soon. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Old school style sit down resturant. Glad its here.
Went yersterday with my wife for breakfast. Took a long time for the waitress to come to take our coffee order even though the place was almost empty. My wifes cup had lipstick around the rim so I went to the back to cancel my breakfast order. When I told the waitress why....instead of an apology she blurted out in a hostile tone...Well, I didnt put it there! Then she tried to put ME on the defensive by accusing me of being too aggressive. This was ridiculous..no way was I anything but assertive. Walked out and wont be back. Who needs this bull???
My friend and I went here for lunch a couple months back while we were traveling, it was delicious and the staff were lovely, weve been looking for an excuse to travel this way just to get stop by again. Absolutely recommend the place to anyone in the area!
Good food, good atmoshere, good service.
Great food, great service, and very quick. Food was ready extremely fast. I come here with my coworkers any time Im working in the area.
This is a nice family owned restaurant and the staff were really friendly! The environment was clean and organized as well. One thing was the food wasnt as great as I would have liked and the cost was a bit high My dad ordered the turkey club sandwich and my mom liver and onions I tried the turkey club sandwich and it was good because it was real turkey (not deli meat) but kind of dry I dont really eat that kind of sandwich normally Im not sure if there should be more sauce though Anyway, my mom said that her liver and onions were good Ill take her word for that because I dont really eat that. For both they had fries and those were the best! Really good fries. The liver also came with a salad which was worth it. I had the wings which was a starter so it doesnt really come with anything except some vegetable sticks. The mild sauce was different than I normally see and so while it was good it wasnt what I pictured it would be. But I did pay $15 for them here and only got wings and a couple carrot sticks whereas I paid $15 at potato bar the other day and got wings, fries and pickles on the side
Waitress was very rude asking do you people believe in tipping said yes we do then she said because we didnt tip she had to tip the cook out of her own pocket cause they cooked our food all this with an attitude been here before no problems now never going back
Bibimbap is always so good.
Bibimbap with house-made soy sauce and gochujang; super juicy scratch-made burger. Our new go-to.
We stopped by for breakfast after a visit to IKEA. Pleasantly surprised with the friendly customer service, great prices and delicious food! We ordered Eggs Florentine, classic bacon and eggs, and a waffle with fruit. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are available
Good diner vibe. And they have a Korean dish! Bibimbap!!
Awesome local place that the regulars eat at.
Great food by
The food was ok but service wasnt very good at all . I asked for a salad to come with my meal and they forgot.another person asked for a drink and waited over a half hour for it. We were in a large party of 30 and we had one server.
I was looking forward to trying Rose Garden Restaurant as we frequent Cherry Hill and plan to go here with my kids. From the start we should have left. The beer glass had visible dirt around the rim, dark hair on the condiment plate and there were no other customers at 5 pm on a Friday. We ordered fish and chips. The fish looked like leftovers refried, incredibly greasy and dark. The fries resembled microwaved leftovers from the day prior. Incredibly greasy and limp, flopping over when picked up I couldn t eat them. Kindly the server informed us the manager took $3 off our bill for the uneaten fries. She also shared they have had many complaints about the potatoes but they had large bags to use up. My friend suggested they shouldn t be serving these, the server demonstrated the size of the bags they needed to use up. I understand using inventory but with multiple complaints maybe that decision should be reassessed. Twenty mins after eating I started to feel off. Although we were the only customers in the restaurant I didn t want to chance a tea so we left and went to another establishment. Another twenty minutes go by and I went home sick. I will not go back and strongly suggest avoiding this place.
Great neighborhood eatery. Awesome Reuben sandwich, food is always fresh and service is friendly and prompt!
Great place with wonderful service. I was there for a catholic womens league dinner with about 30 people and the service was phenomenal. The food is also great with big portions. I recommend having the schnitzel as its a meal you can also have the next day. Also there is alcohol but it still gives off that family restaurant feel. We will be coming back
I had the mushroom cheese burger and was amazed. Also loved their milk shake Will come again! Food
I ordered the burger and it was the best I have had. Been going since I was little and it has always had the best food at a reasonable price.
Great selection and Food is always amazing!!
The staff was friendly except for one person although a bit expensive for the quantity.
The meal portion although tasty was small fit for a kids meal , the service wasn t with a smile and a touch of attitude to say the least and the atmosphere very noisy. If I wasn t there with family for Mother s Day I would have left , I subject myself to first impression and after this experience I won t be returning anytime soon
A go to pick for Hamilton / Burlington area. Diner style, large servings!
Cheap and cheerful.
The food was okay. The tables were quite empty when we arrived. But we had to wait for quite some time before being asked for what to drink. The tablewares prepared for our table were not enough and we had to ask for another set. Our water cups were empty for some time and had to ask for water refill with a bit difficulty to find a waitress. The waitress would stand right by your table looking at how much tips you gave her and gave you attitude if it s not to her flavour.
Where to begin? The huge sign on the outside has the wrong time (off by 4 hours). First impression was that it was old and dingy. The tables were really beat up and sticky. The food came out quick but wasn t great. Potatoes were big and many were hard. Eggs Benny were slimy. Food had a weird taste. Service was okay. Asked to have 2 different kinds of eggs Benny and it was NO right away. How hard is it to change up a couple of toppings to put 2 different ones on the plate? We were totally willing to pay for the more expensive option. Prices were fine. Overall not a great experience and will not be returning.
Food was surprisingly really good - very fresh and big portions! We had the Greek salad + chicken breast and chicken fingers - we re not disappointed at all
Fast service.. great atmosphere amazing staff..food was delicious
Went here for the first time and will be back! The menu is huge and I really believe there is something for everyone. You can get anything from Breakfast fare to Korean dishes, to pasta and good old standbys like fush and chips. Despite how it was as it wss Easter, the service is friendly, helpful and accommodating. I had the Bibimbap and there was no issue replacing the beef with shrimp. Delicious dish! Vegetarian options: Had no trouble switching out items, saw different vegetarian options
This is a GREAT family brunch place! The atmosphere is calm and friendly, the staff are kind and welcoming and the portions are a dream!
I love coming here for the Korean beef stone bowl, its amazing!!
This place has the best waitresses in town!
Great spot for an Extended Midweek Family Brunch. No crowd, and The Server kept bringing us extras as we ordered more food, and kept laughing at and with us. LoL. Amazing Bibimbap!! Parking: At busy times parking may be a problem. There is extra across the street but its Of ay parking Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is level and the bathroom is kind of accessible. Someone will need to open the door for you though, so if youre on your own, you might need to call ahead with an ETA.
How did you know I was at rosegarden
Always good food when we go in. Every time my wife gets the Bibimbap a Korean rice bowl. She raves about it. The staff are very friendly.
We love the food here whenever we are in Burlington for walks in the RBG. We come from Toronto. There are always leftovers as the portions are big.
The staff are very friendly and attentive! It feels like an old fashioned family restaurant and home cooking. Large menu selection with something for everyone!
We have eaten here many times but today was my last. The food was good but the server was a little toquick for my liking. I had to ask twice for things because when I asked for ketchup she turned and quickly walked away before I could say vinegar and mayo for my chips and clubhouse. I thought that the clubhouse came with soup but she said no so I was going to check on the way out to see if I read it wrong anyway she never came back to refill our water or coffee so on a 23.50 bill I left her 25. She took it and turned away and turned right back and said is this wrong I said no. She said a buck before she could finish I said ok bring me the machine .she turned and I thought no way Im standing my ground that all I said that I have. She was not happy. Well neither am I with your service or asking for more tip.
Big menu and wonderful tasting food.
Always a great place to be, the staff and food is always wonderful could be busy at times but they will take care of your needs. Parking: Parking across the street.
Food pretty good food is very poor service we wait 10 minutes to be ask what we like and when we were ready to order she was by the cashier and we were to the other side and screaming asking us what would you like to drink and the worst thing is one server for the whole entire place thats ridiculous I asked to see the manager to talk to him and she came back with that response saying he or she cannot come out because he or she was busy
This is my godfathers favourite place. We come here every time we visit. Everyone is great and the food is amazing.
Surprisingly roomy diner. Open for Christmas Day breakfast! Eggs Benny was very good. Home fries could be crispier. Service very pleasant. Happy to visit again. Parking: A dozen spots or so IIRC.
Fantastic experience! We were attending a funeral nearby and we had a group of 10. They gladly were able to accommodate us. The service was great and the food was excellent. The bibimbap was popular at our table. It was unlike anything I ve ever had before and excellent! I will return for that dish. Other guests enjoyed the schnitzel, Ruben sandwich, Greek burger and chicken wings. Everyone was happy with their food. Decor is old school but we loved that about it.
Great lil place! They have good turkey dinners!
The only concern since the last visit was the music choice, swearing rap, and a bit too loud, which was difficult to talk
Excellent food!! I recommend the bibimbap!! Very interesting dish. Very reasonable too. Cant wait to return.
Good food. Very friendly staff and nice clean restaurant.
Great food, pleasant service , wonderful atmosphere, will definitely return.
Very friendly place. Food was delicious.
Great atmosphere in a classic restaurant. Even though striking into the Rose Garden is like going back In time, that doesnt mean the place is outdated. In fact, quite the opposite; in our challenging times the Rose Garden is way ahead of most other places by creating a simpler more enjoyable atmosphere that lets a diner forget everything going on In the world and just enjoy good food with friendly staff in a peaceful setting . And weekends are Prime Rib night . Oh! Best Hot stone bowl rice in the city!
Good food and great service. Will go there again.
We go there all the time. Got a club sandwich . Most of the btead was very burnt. The server took it back. She came back with only four pieces of bread and some chicken. Very bad service from the cook.
Excellent variety of dishes, fantastic service, great prices......YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!!! ITS GUY APPROVED
The server was friendly and attentive. The food was quick to arrive and very good.
Love meeting my friends there for lunch. Home cooked delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff are so friendly and service is wonderful.
Great family restaurant with a good selection to choose from. It s not fancy.. just an all around good quality place to eat. Vegetarian options: Lots of options as it has a wide variety of food I m a vegetarian.. the burger was good doesnt remind me of meat! Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant.. kids welcome
Excellent food and service! Hamburgers are home made and delicious. Some of the best fries Ive had in a long time. The menu has a variety to suit all pallets. Worth the drive Parking: Ample parking steps away from the RBG.
Great Julian salad. Large portion
Great place good food and service
We learned about this gem from a Burlington local and we are so happy we went. First off the food portions are large, so come hungry or take leftovers for lunch. The service is quick and quiet. We were seated on multiple occasions near the end of the night. We also walked in, so making a reservation is not needed. My one comment would be the decor is very outdated and feels like retirement home furniture. Otherwise, I d say this local family restaurant is consistent and filing for the price.
Perfect spot to eat after a morning with the toddler at the Royal Botanical Garden. Simple, delicious, diner experience. You get what you expect, which is comforting in a world of the unexpected.
This place really should be busier than it is. We thought it was a Chinese Restaurant based on the name, but once we looked at the menu we noticed it was more a family style place. Awesome food and good portion sizes, prices are also fair. Homestyle here means they roast an actual Turkey or Roast for menu items ( salads, sandwich etc) Please go try them out, Id be sad if they were forced to close.
Always count on a good meal
Great food and friendly staff. We met friends from out of town there and staff was amazing didnt rush you or pester you to leave. A great place and we will be back.
Always great food
Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options. I am vegetarian and enjoy eating here. Wheelchair accessibility: The whole restaurant is on one level. Bathroom is big enough for wheelchair.
Nice little spot with great breakfast at a good price.
Pretty good place for lunch. Homey atmosphere, quiet, good service and good food.
Mostly great food, occasional slips but have eaten there many times. great service and fair prices. one of the few places that serve a quality turkey dinner year round.
The best restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff is so nice, the restaurant is very clean. 10/10
Came here for dinner after our hike. We waited over 20 minutes and didn t even receive a water. The waitress was too busy talking to customers and not doing her job. We ended up walking out before we even got our order taken. Wouldn t come back here again.
Breakfast with my Sissster (not spelling error) Saturday morning. We try a different place every week and review. Lots of parking. Easy accessible entrance Classic eggs bacon sausage rye toast and coffee. Good but have had better. Waitress friendly and kind. Reasonably priced. Accessible bathroom needs work in terms of placement of handrail. There is an accessible stale. Otherwise give them try.
Good food. Service was a little slow. Prices average
Great holiday meals. Did thanksgiving here and Easter!
Disappointed. l ordered a fish and chips. The fries were well over done to dark brown and unpresentable. The texture of the fish was soft and mushy. For $16.99 one piece of haddock and fries is not cheap. For the same price Barangas on the Beach offers two pieces, same size and incredible beach view.
Thumbs up!!!!
Not busy but took waitress forever to come take my order....seem to be short staffed Vegetarian options: Have a number of options
Food was perfect. Service was friendly without being overbearing. Music not too loud. Vegetarian options: There are quite a few salads to choose from. Theres also a vegan burger.
Decent food but overpriced, especially the overcooked prime rib. Good parking. Ok service. Food
First time there. Delicious food and very friendly staff.
Nice little breakfast place. First time there, felt like home.
Huge portions, great service and friendly staff.
It was incredibly busy when we arrived and there was no parking. We had to park across the road In the pay and display lot. Fries were delicious! And club sandwich was average! Ladies working we re friendly!
Great lunch. Great stone bowl dish. Luv getting it there. Try it, youll like it.
Food was good and the staff was very friendly.
Yummy food. More home cooked type meals. Reminds me of diners from when I was a kid.
Had a great time. Food was great value, and very delicious. I got the Canadian burger and my girlfriend got the Italian burger. Both were very delicious. Parking was extremely unpleasant though with all the spots being filled so we had to park down a side street away from the location and walk up. Certainly worth it. Would recommend. Parking: Very few spots compared to the seating. Parking was available further away
Always great breakfast!
One of the best dolsot bibim baps Ive ever had! If you are visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens or Cherry Hill Gate, or just in the area haaa end your trip at this diner. Its mostly western fair, but the gem is the only Korean dish on the menu, their dolsot bibimbap. It comes sizzling and the rice crisps up perfectly. Its a great portion and when mixed the flavours are rich and delicious. I blame my brother for introducing this place BC now nothing else compares. Not yet anyways
Yum! Breakfast
We go for breakfest. Always good! Staff friendly!
Wonderful food, highly recommended as a diner, with some slightly upscale options on the menu, like the turkey cranberry and brie grilled cheese. I strongly recommend the bibbimbap. The house made coconut cream pie was also a hit. Just dont go for the atmosphere/facilities, go for the fact its a great unassuming family restaurant, with options for everyone in the family. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with crayons, good options and flexible staff able to accommodate your kids requests.
Dated restaurant, but great food, at good value. This is the place to go with your elderly parents after a visit to the cemetary. Food for everyone, including the grandkids. Try the hot stone bowl bibimbap. Homemade chili sauce included.
This is a cute little gem hidden away a bit off the beaten track, but the food is nice and the service is good. The prices arent that different from other decent quality restaurants, I have to admit that I was a little surprised at the $45 price tag for a 16-ounce prime rib but maybe Im out of date and thats just normal now.
A lovely diner experience. Tasty and BIG breakfasts, hot coffee, wonderful and attentive staff. Parking: Tight parking during peak hours.
5 stars for that range of prices. The service was above expectations and food and atmosphere just right. Great location and plenty of parking space.
We were so pleased to find this hidden gem! After spending the morning at the Rock Garden & checking out the scary prices @ RBG restaurant, this friendly little place was so relaxing with reasonable pricing. FASTEST. SERVICE. EVER! Its like the cook was listening in; we ordered Italian wedding soup, fish & chips, spinach salad with substitutions (food allergies), & bibimbop, & it all came to our table faster than McDs! We were shocked when she came back, thinking we had to change our order, not that it was the food already. Everything was delicious & fresh! The waitress just naturally checked on our table about a dozen times while doing her rounds. Yup, always had water on the table. They have Creemore among their bottled beers which shows their good taste Not a crumb was left on the plate! So yummy. The spinach was garden fresh & crisp. The fish was piping hot & a good size. Bibimpop was dellcious & piping sizzling hot. The hot soup disappeared very fast, not a drop left behind. The decor inside is very comfortable. The rose garden outside? Ok, needs some attention. The front door? Worst part! We couldnt find it! LOL The waitress ran outside when she saw us wandering around. Its hidden in a solid wood wall. This is now a must-visit place for us next time we visit RBG. Vegetarian options: The spinach salad is delicious & they can accommodate vegan. Its not really a vegan place but they are flexible. Dietary restrictions: I needed to have a custom dressing because of my food allergies & also they had to be careful about the contents, holding out the croutons. Definitely it was made fresh, not premade in the morning. They cut up an entire lemon just for me. Parking: Tons, tons of parking on their own lot. Well maintained asphalt. You do not even need to park near other cars if you want some space.
Had a nice lunch in here today. The lady who attended us is such very nice. I had the dolsot bibimbap and my company had the Greek burger with pesto and Feta cheese. Very tasty and lots of amount. I really like the crispiness of the rice at the bottomand lots of vegetables. The burger also juicy and delicious. Good combination with the pesto and feta. Lots of fries too.
Good variety of family restaurant style food. The waitress was very pleasant.
Two piece fish &chips. No lemon wedge :( pretty greasy, and fries soggy. And, no coleslaw! Ripped off!
Very delicious food.!!!
Went there after church. 4 of us. 3 got scrambled, sausage, taters and toast/coffee. One got over easy, taters and bacon. So ..bacon guy gets served first. Bacon looked like it could have been cooked way more. ALL the potatoes needed so much more grill time. Overall, not bad - sort of. Anyway, 4 standard breakfast plates with coffee/tea came to 67 bucks - 13 dollar tip brought it up to 80 bucks. A bit pricey but I haven t been out for a while. Server was nice enough.
Very tasty food, good prices! Its a familiar place. Food
Nice family restaurant with traditional meals. Nothing to rave about. Food lacks personality, creativity, TLC ... but it will head down the gullet and get converted to energy like any other food.
Wonderful place 1st time visiting with friends today portions are generous and priced reasonable. Will be back again.
I had a great Caesar salad my husband had turkey and cranberry sandwich and fries all good excellent server very pleasant and delicious food.
They known what theyre doing. Food is always on point and fresh. Parking: Enough parking. Kid-friendliness: Its a family diner. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs so it should be good.
Horrible customer service. Sat down to order a milkshake and got treated extremely poorly compared to the other customers because I didn t order a meal. When paying, I left a tip and the waitress said nothing, ripped the receipt out of the machine and walked away. Also there were dead flies on the window sill where I was sitting. Would not recommend.
Kid-friendliness: Fantastic with the kids! Food
Great service.
Great sandwiches and coconut cream pie!
Delicious soup and salad
Best coffee Ive ever had!
my party and i had the bibimbap and the mango salad and it was delicious. 100% recommend these dishes. our server was kind and friendly. not sure if the prices are common for the area, but a lot more expensive than places in toronto haha.
One of our favorite places to get Stone Bowl you have got to try it out when you are leaving or entering the city of Burlington!!
Great diner throw back to old school restaurants, real homemade food. Its always good eats and service is fantastic. Picture a comfortable neighbourhood restaurant from the 80s where is was always dependable.
Went for breakfast and the food is good, service was excellent. Very happy with the poached eggs.
We had fish and chips for lunch always good but they stopped offering cole slaw for some reason but all meals very good here and consistent.
Good
Aldershot hidden wonder
Great place for a nice dinner before going to the movies
Great place for breakfast.
Enjoyed very much. Excellent food at affordable prices
Good food and service. A lovely roadside diner
Great selection of breakfasts.
Food was very tasty. And the prices were reasonable.
Food is average. Vegetarian omelette is bland and pancakes arent fluffy . I wouldnt order either again. Stick to breakfast special
Great place great homemade food
Hidden gem! Get the bipbimbap and add lots of hot sauce for one of the best meals in the area.
I ordered the hot beef sandwich with sweet potatoes. The potatoes and gravey were the best part of the meal. The roast beef was cold cut meat, plenty if it but it tasted awful. No flavour. Another person in our party ordered a rubin sandwich. Did not notice that they put thousand island dressing on it. (Which is not normally put in this sandwich) no sourcroute, it was smothered between layers couldnt even remove some of it. Made it discussting. I tried it as well. The third person irdered pestromi it was fine. Parking: Plenty
Where else can you go to enjoy a burger or a (huge) bibimbap (possibly the best in the area)? Staff is super friendly and everything I ve had so far has been delicious.
Great service, great food, reasonably priced. Absolutely loved the Bibimbop
Our absolutely delicious bibimbap hot bowl + a schnitzel dinner w/rice, including a coconut cream pie dessert which is one of the best ever!! The staff are very kind and helpful, and will ensure you fully enjoy your meals & time there.
The Burger was great! This is a really nice family restaurant!
Decent food in a family-style diner with friendly staff. Standard diner menu with some interesting extras - we had a Bibimpbap and a Teriyaki Chicken dish - these were OK but a classic club sandwich or all-day breakfast might have been a better bet. The Teriyaki was good but it was described as stir-fried which it didn t seem like it was - more like grilled chicken on rice with steamed broccoli/carrots/green beans on the side - perfectly tasty (and probably healthier than a stir-fry!) but wasn t what we expected. Kids had home-made burgers which were exactly as you d expect in a diner, good size portion too.
Amazing Breakfast
Good food and goodly portions. Turkey dinner to die for
Poor service...sat waiting forever for a waitress. When we finally got our order, it was wrong. I used to come here years ago and thought I would bring my wife to a place that served good food and great service. What a disappointment...never again.
Great food, good prices and friendly staff. *Edit* weve been here 10 times and not once have we been disappointed. The food has been great and the staff is amazing. Cant recommend enough! Food : 5/5
This is a family business so the menu includes a variety of cuisines. The food is good. The atmosphere is ideal for family gatherings. I would not plan for romantic dinner here. This appears to be a popular place as tables were nearly full while I was there. It is a good place to dine after walking the trails in Hendrie Valley.
It was very pleasant.
Wonderful restaurant, the food is good especially the Korean hot bowl. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. Breakfast here is also great. Portions are fair to large so make sure you are hungry.
Reasonable prices and great menu selection
Good place for breakfast and lunch, family friendly
Honestly yummy Korean Stone Bowl Bibimbap. Marinated beef, several vegetables, rice and Korean Gochujang sauce, all mixed in a super-heated granite bowl. It s tasty, healthy and filling! They also have all the usual Western sandwiches, roast beef dinners and other western fare, but the Stone Bowl Bibimbap is really the star. My mother is vegetarian and asks for it without the beef. She says it s one of the best she s had!! The staff are friendly and the owners are genuinely nice. I love eating here when I pass by the area. Charming location just a stones throw away from the Royal Botanical Garden. Visit any time of day, but I love sitting in the dining room on a quiet snowy day and staring out the windows enjoying my Stone Bowl Bibimbap! Edit: Over the last several years, I have been introducing friends and family to the Rose Garden Restaurant. Each of them have introduced others to this gem of a place! I m hoping I don t have to wait 20 minutes to be seated in the future. Edit: Every time I visit, I quickly scan the tables to see what people are eating. I see people of all ages ordering the hot Korean stone bowl bibimbap. Here s a trick! Mix your ingredients together with the sauce and push the rice against the wall of the super hot stone bowl. Give it a couple of minutes while the rice gets toasted against the hot bowl. The slight toasting will give it a nutty flavour and an added texture to Enjoy! I ll have to try to remember to add photos in the future when the stone bowl arrives, I forget all about the photos until after I ve finished.
Was passing by on way back from Ikea and feeling hungry. See this place and did a uturn as it looked half full inside. Came in seated right away and our service was impressive. The food was fantastic and flavourful, not overly seasoned or dull. It tasted fresh and full of goodness. I enjoyed the schnitzel and Jenny the Salmon. Worth the money paid and we are lucky as after we were finished eating, the 2 servers here were getting rushed with others waiting at the door. If you are ever passing, its worth the visit to support local businesses.
Excellent turkey cranberry brie grilled sandwich
Loved the service the food and the atmosphere Love going there Every time in Burlington Want to go here Food : 5/5 |
Loved the atmosphere, and the Korea hot dish for lunch is a must try
Nice and clean restaurant. A little pricey for portion size. Atmosphere and menu geared more towards senior citizens therfore a wonderful and comfortable location for older folks to dine. Parking: Parking on either side of building.
