Had three of the donairs to go. Puny , stingy portions, more of a snack size for $45.00. Used to be a good place but I don t see ever going back.

Cheap kind of donairs, not traditional. Fine if you like that. Not my first choice to get donairs.

Went to grab dinner with my mom! Fantastic food great portion size great taste! Staff was polite and friendly! Will absolutely come back again! You have to try it!

We found Sams 3 weeks ago and now have ordered delivery 3 times. Their hamburgers are the best and the fries and onion rings are also. We will be back.

Im eating Carnivore atm and requested the triple burgers be built on a load of lettuce. The gentleman gently asked if it was gluten I was trying to avoid because they offer a gluten-free bun. I replied, No, Id prefer no bun at all, if you can. He happily obliged. Had a triple and a chicken burger. A little on the expensive side (over $22 for two burgers, although one was a triple patty) but tasty, nonetheless!

Atmosphere is no frills fast food. But it was clean and safe. Food is awesome! Plenty and tasty. Parking: Place is a part of a strip mall so there is loads of free parking in front. Place is also on a major transit route.

One of the better burgers Ive ever had. My mom (who has a gluten concern) had great things to say about the gluten-free bun, where normally she merely tolerates gluten-free products. The staff was very kind and friendly as well, Kaumil in particular. Definitely recommend. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free buns are fantastic. Tastes like the real thing and holds together much better than is typical for gluten-free buns.

One of the best burgers in Burlington. Its loaded with pulled pork , make sure you grab a fork ! The bun is perfect, BBQ sauce on point. Service super friendly !

Favourite destination for speciality poutine from an affordable menu. I have tried their Cambridge restaurant a lot, and they have same quality of service here in Burlington. Whenever I am tired with old plain poutine, I come to Sams to reset my tastebuds. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for kids.

I got the Combo 3 with the burger a can of pop and some fries and it was delicious I really liked it the service was great they were nice and welcoming. I wish I got the combo 4 because the fries were missing some salt but over all it s a really good place to eat if you are really hungry. It s very filling.

Food is ok, meat was pretty dry fries were undercooked and way overpriced nearly 20 dollars for a donair wrap combo where the wrap is quite small. Sammy s donair is in the same plaza and they put 2x the amount of meat on the pita and it s way fresher. also they use fake reviews

First time eating here. I got the barnyard burger with fries and it was very tasty. Decent portions for the price and the burger wasn t dry and the pulled pork tasted pretty solid. Service was top tier for a fast food place. Cashier was friendly and they even checked on us to see how the meal was. Remember this is a burger joint, have realistic expectations and you will enjoy this place.

Came here for a quick stop, ordered 2 chicken burgers for me and a friend. They charged for every topping, meat was frozen, not made fresh and it tasted like burnt water. They use fake reviews too. DON T COME HERE.

First timers with our family. Saw a review on another site and had to try the cheeseburger and poutine. The burgers are amazing! Patty edges are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Similar to five guys but better! Son enjoyed the bacon cheese dog and we all shared the poutine with fresh cut fries. Well worth the price of quality! We ll be back. On a separate note, the washrooms were the most immaculate I ve seen.

Tried Sam s Grill for the first time, today. I had a burger and fries combo. Everything was excellent! The burger was homemade and tasted delicious. The fries were equally as awesome. I will be definitely coming back for some more Sam s Grill! EDIT: I saw on Skip the dishes they had a promo for a free Donair.. The restaurant did not honor it even though that was the reason I ordered from Sams on Skip. Furthermore the onions were cut way too thick on the Donair. Big thick rings of raw onion on it that dominated the whole taste of the donair. If you are looking for Donairs and you can find them open (which is hard) , stick to Sammys :)

Wow. Gluten Free burgers and dedicated fryer for fries were absolutely excellent. Prices were fair and food quality was top notch. Restaurant and kitchen area were very clean. Combos prepared and served by owner Kaumil, who has trained Sam s team in GF handling of food. So good to have a safe and tasty option for eating out. Much appreciated and we will be back.

We tried the breaded chicken burger, donair pita, and butter chicken poutine. All the food was very fresh and steaming on open. Everything was delicious with basically nothing to complain about. The chicken burger was exactly what my girlfriend had been craving for a while now, but had struggled to find anywhere else. The fusion style menu makes it easy to find something fun and tasty to try, while still having classics for those just craving something like a burger. A very crisp and clean interior, paired with nice friendly staff makes this an easy place to want to return to in the future. Can t recommend enough to anyone in the area to go and try.

First time trying Sams Grill, I ordered the regular hamburger combo which comes with fries and a drink . I also added cheese and bacon which are both a $.99 add on. The total was just under $17 which is comparable to other burger joints in town (burger priest, burger factory, burger tone, 5 guys, etc) The burger was very fresh and tasty. The bun was also a good size and held everything together nicely with little mess. I wasnt planning on getting fries with my meal but Im glad I did, they were absolutely excellent. I noticed they have a large selection of specialty poutine and I think these fries would be perfect for that I will definitely be back in the future! This place is very close to me, competitive prices, friendly staff, and has one of the better burgers in town compared to its competition. 4.5 stars from me If the cheese was slightly more melted on my burger and you had the option to toast the bun it would be an easy 5 stars. Although thats just my personal preference so I cant complain too much

I am glad I discovered Sam s Grill on New street at Guelph Line. I have ordered several sandwiches from them but my favourite by far is the chicken burger. It is always perfectly cooked, nice and juicy and very tasty. Make sure you get Sam s special sauce. Very nice and a little spicy. I m looking forward to trying the poutines!

This place is slightly above McDonald s Wendy s but significantly better in quality and flavour. I would rate it slightly lower than five guys but that is significantly more expensive It is always refreshing when picky kids finish their food. I would highly recommend giving this place a chance for anyone looking for good burgers or to take the family out for a meal. This is a place I would definitely revisit

My elderly mother and I tried this restaurant for the first time and we had a walk-in special that included a burger, poutine and a drink. The burgers were cooked to perfection, not over-cooked and not undercooked. Our juicy (not oily) burgers had lots of toppings, including the optional cooked onions, bacon and cheese. Poutine was good and plentiful, fries & gravy were tasty but the cheese was a bit cold so hadn t fully melted (in reality, we were just too hungry to wait for the cheese to melt). The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff members wonderfully cheerful and helpful. Probably the most important aspect of our dining experience was the absence of digestive distress after we ate, which means that the quality of their beef is superior..as were the other food items. We are looking forward to trying their all-beef wieners next!

Edit: manager gave me 5$ coupon when he couldn t honour my Groupon, franchise head office won t provide scanners. Got a Groupon for this place as a gift but since they don t have a scanner for the barcode they don t honour the Groupon unless you ve activated it already- which I couldn t do because it wasn t purchased by me. Food is decent fried food, but somewhat overpriced.

I take my kids almost every weekend to Sams grill! My daughter is always asking me for the milkshake and poutine and they are delicious. I also highly recommend their donair! Since Halifax donair will be going out of business soon I would recommend this place for your authentic Halifax donair flavour! Staff is always happy and pleasant to deal with and the food is always hot and fresh! Its a must try if you havent already!

I am sorry, but undercooked fries, flavourless poutine, over-salted bacon, flavourless burger patties and a terrible chicken sandwich add up to a 1 star review.

Very clean and friendly staff. I am surprised that the ratings for the smoked meat were 5 star as this was not the case for me. When preparing it they were going to toast the rye bread, this is not the way to make Montreal Smoked Meat and I let them know so they didn t. When I got my sandwich it was soggy as if it had come out of a package like the ones you buy frozen. I will be revisiting the restaurant to try the burgers and fries as the ratings for these seem to be excellent.

We enjoyed Halifax donairs today. Was very good but made great once i asked for hot sauce. Was given there home made hot sauce... so delicious. Took the leftovers home and had with fish tonight!! The staff was friendly, helpful and the restaurant is spotless and clean. I only rated atmosphere as 4 because we found it quite cold in the restaurant. Highly recommend Sams Be sure that you go to the right restaurant, there is one with a very similar name in the mall.

Food tastes good, recommend the donairs. Pricy for what your getting, its almost cheaper to not get a combo. Bit of inconsistency in prices , my aunt payed 30$ for her poutine, sandwhich and drink. And my moms and i got two donairs with a drink can and a milkshake for the same price? But overall I would say its good if your looking for a menu with variety for the family.

Tried this place on skip the dishes tonight. We had the pulled pork, fried pickles, chicken fingers and onion rings. Onion rings were battered which is a huge plus! Everything was great, would order again!

Their food is decent at best. My husband just ordered their 2 for 1 double burger, and when I went to go pick it up, they told us we couldn t get that deal. The worker got the manager on the phone with my and the manager was so incredibly rude and told me to dispute with Uber. Which I did, and received a refund. Honestly though, food is half decent (nothing out of this world) but extremely over priced. Never ever will go back due to terrible customer service. Will advise family and friends to stay away from this restaurant.

The food here is incredible. I lived in Halifax and I d been looking for somewhere that made an authentic Halifax style donair and this is the first place I found that does it! I wish the donairs were bigger but that s just me being greedy The burgers are also incredible, this has become my go-to takeout spout. I mean the reviews speak for themselves!

We tried Sam s Grill today based on a friend s recommendation and it is so incredibly good! We re always on the lookout for the best burger places and this is now our favourites near Oakville/Burlington. If you give it a try don t forget asking for Sam s sauce, absolute heaven!

The poutine was okay just canned gravy on soggy fries. Donair had this weird sweet sauce on it.

The poutine had canned gravy, which I like and fries...not that crispy and meh. The Donaire was way too fake sweet (surprisingly) and not good. The shake was too sweet as well. I was overcharged, showed the employee and they didnt make a correction. I think theyre new. He did call me over on the way out the door and took my number for the owner to call back. To be continued. In no way did this influence my food review.

This place is absolutely amazing! The best burger, poutine and milkshake I have ever had in my life! I normally don t finish large burgers but I ate mine so quickly and didn t waste anything. The food was so good I forgot to take a photo. The food was just so fresh and hot and juicy. You will not regret eating here.

Good burger and a good deal at $9.99 for two patties. Also tried the donair which I thought was good, but probably my favorite thing I tried were there new wings. Nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. At $12.99 for 7 they could get a little pricy, so hopefully theyll offer a larger option for a bit of a discount.
