Thanks again Michael, Chef Anthony, Maya, James and the rest of the staff. CherryHouse was so accommodating, and served it out of the park! From the minute we walked in, we were greeted and served drinks and apps. Our meal came out, and was perfect. Drinks were excellent. Best Manhattan in Burlington. Can t thank you enough for the best Christmas Party. Can t wait til next year. Parking: Thank you to Michael and his staff. We had our Christmas party there tonight, and it was fantastic. We were a group of seven ladies that were excited to try Cherry house for lunch. Some of us had been for dinner and were impressed. Unfortunately our experience was not up to our expectations due mostly to a very unfriendly waiter. He seemed like it was an effort to wait on us. Even though we all enjoyed our food the whole experience at the restaurant could have been so much better. When we were leaving, the bar tender wished us well with a nice smile. Wishing we had him as our waiter! Follow up: I would like to add that Michael the owner followed up with me and he is obviously very committed to excellence since he has offered us a gift card in an effort to make it right

Went to the restaurant as part of a group dinner. No parking was available surprisingly so we had to park in the adjacent lot which was unfortunate due to the snow. Atmosphere is nice, just a tad dark and made for poor visibility. Food was served in three courses, I eat vegetarian and they had several viable options. I started with the butternut squash soup, it was savoury but a bit watery for what was promised. Overall decent but just wishing for a bit extra. For the entree I only had the option of the pasta. It was very well done and was full in flavour. I finished off with a carrot cake slice with some caramel sauce, it was good but the sauce was a bit burnt to the taste. I still ate it all though! Overall this was a great experience, not the place for me but I was pleased to eat and experience this restaurant.

We celebrated my birthday yesterday at Cherry House, it was our first time visiting. Its very nice and a little more traditional dining. If you are looking for something upscale this would be a good place to visit. Food

The absolute best Ribeye that I have ever had in my entire life. Great service and great food. Madison was awesome. She checked in on us often and made us feel very welcoming. I would most definitely be back if Im ever in Burlington again or even near.

Pricey, but a very nice place for dinner. Wait staff is very personable and attentive, but not overbearing. Food is delicious, and made with care and quality ingredients. Party of 2, 3 alcoholic drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 mains, 2 desserts and coffee/tea was $300. Parking: Extra parking out back if front lot is full.

You will not find a finer dining experience than the Cherry House! When I called Cherry House to see if they served Prime Rib Roast beef,which I knew was not listed on the menu, Michael the owner answered the phone as he always does and said Let me see what we can do. We had the most tender perfectly cooked roast beef with mashed potatoes, fresh veggies,au jus and yorkshire pudding. Michael made it happen because we asked! Anthony the chef came out to see how we enjoyed the dinner. Mattea, our server was attentive, fun and charming. Montana, well you will just want her to be your best friend! Cherry House is a fine dining restaurant with a traditional meets new technique style - its an experience and the food was amazing and surreal. Like most fine dining experiences, the food and atmosphere were above expectations, but service had some attentive issues. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this restaurant when you are ready for a high-end experience.

First time and it was amazing. Had the steak and shrimp with a sauce that I could drink. Service was amazing and just a great place.

Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere!

This is a great restaurant and business establishment. Michael (owner) was exceptionally trusting and accommodating for my dinner reservation. I happened to forget my wallet and he advised me to come settle my tab at my earliest convenience - never took my name or anything. In todays day and age with all the scams, untrustworthy people, and current state of affairs - he left it to me. I happily returned to settle up and will be back in the future! Thank you for the great meal and service.

Incredible on all fronts. The filet mignon was absolutely outstanding, and the buratta ravioli was one of the most unique and impressive dishes Ive had the privilege of trying. Even their complimentary bread is delicious. Our servers were highly attentive, kind, and able to answer our many questions. Im sure they had others to attend to, but it felt like all of their energy was dedicated to us having everything we needed. If this place is within your budget, I would strongly recommend giving it a try.

Great food and service

I have had the chance to dine at Cherry House several times now and have always had the best experiences. This weekend was no exception. Filet and striploin were both done perfectly! Loved the shrimp and scallops we ordered as our sides. Cocktails were great. Our server was dynamic, as usual. Thanks Cherry House for making our night a great one.

The service - food and atmosphere was 5 Star. We had the crab cakes and smoked salmon and both were divine. We ordered the 22oz Ribeye med.rare and it was made to perfection. That s is the best Ribeye I ve eaten in 20 years. We can t wait to come back. For someone acquainted with fine steakhouses in the states and resides in Dallas TX, I couldn t be more impressed. The Cherry House definitely fits in my top 3 restaurants of all time.

Celebrated a surprise 50th Birthday Party for my wife in the Private Room at the Cherry House. The food was excellent and their service is the best. Our guests had a great experience and my wife was thrilled. Michael Cherry should be very proud of his business. Thanks Vegetarian options: An excellent mushroom main course was made available.

I was so unbelievably surprised by this restaurant. We were looking for a steakhouse to eat at last minute and the kegs line up was over an hour so... We ended up at Cherry House restaurant. This place is incredible. Every detail from the greeting and seating, service staff, the menu and presentation, the quality of the food and skill of the chef. Everything was unbelievable. It reminded me of how Spencers was around 8 years ago. I had the strip line, my wife had the tenderloin. Both were easily the best steaks weve ever had. For dessert we had the baked Alaska. What an incredible presentation. Dietary restrictions: The chef was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions Wheelchair accessibility: We dined with a wheelchair and it was mostly no problem. The bathrooms with the double doors were a little bit tricky to navigate

Our daughters wedding was held last Saturday, September 21. The food, service and staff were fantastic. We had the time of our lives. Special shout out to James and Cosmos. We had our wedding here last weekend and are beyond delighted by how smoothly everything went and how wonderful the food was. Big shout out to James, for coordinating with me over the last few months to ensure everything was perfect. The food is to die for, undeniably the best wedding food Ive ever had (even though Im super biased as the bride). The guests were raving about how classy the venue was and how delicious the food is. The service is top notch. Michael Cherry, the owner, was very kind. No complaints on any level here. Id highly recommend eating here if you are a fan of fine dining. Ive been to cherry house multiple times and it never disappoints.

I visited this restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere and staff are both exceptional. The inside of the restaurant is dark and romantic. Theres a wide variety of alcohols if you re looking to partake. I think they could beef up their zero proof menu, however. I think there was only two options. I had the Caesar salad here. I was looking forward to it because of the photos of it on the website. It was disappointing. It didn t match the presentation in the photo, was too heavy on the garlic and the sauce. I also had the fish main option. It was okay. Fish was beautifully cooked and so were the vegetables but felt there was something missing. Creme brulee was perfection.

I do not usually do reviews, but I was really impressed. What a wonderful place! Cozy romantic atmosfere, wonderful staff and last, but not least, an explosion of flavours. Perfect for any special occasion. A must have experience.

We held my grandmothers celebration of life at Cherry House last night. When I started the process of finding a venue, they immediately stood out. We had accessibility requirements, the party room was on ground level, bathrooms right there, accessible parking right at the door. Then I contacted them and they immediately got back to me with package information and from there the process was seamless. James communication was superb, answering all of my questions and organizing everything down to the finest detail. Accommodating everything we needed including planning for an early arrival with expected bad weather. It ended up being a beautiful day but they still welcomed us early with fabulous drinks, friendly, hilarious, compassionate staff. It really felt like we were having dinner with a new extended family. The room was spectacular, food was mouth watering (get the bread!!!) and my grandmother would ve loved every minute of it. Thank you to the Cherry House team. You are a jewel!

I had the pleasure of enjoying a lovely lunch with a dear friend. We enjoyed a fine Italian wine, the Best Oysters we have enjoyed in a long time. Main course was Veal and scallops on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes and perfect veggies. Dessert was a mesmerizing Baked Alaska for two which we shared. The decor and ambiance was warm and inviting, customer service- top notch! Highly recommended and will definately return soon. Thank you for a memorable experience.

We had our wedding at Cherry House last July. The manager James is very responsive and accommodating. His entire team were so attentive and amazing on the wedding day. Excellent atmosphere and really good food!

Exceptional Ribeye steak! Really cozy atmosphere the patio feels like you are at someones home. They have all these cute sections big size tables and even hooks to hang your bag. We had steaks which were delicious very good meat. Ill definitely be back to try some more items. The indoor will be super nice in the winter months. Good place to bring a date or family. I wonder if lunch time is more business oriented given the location.

We attended for a birthday party with 12 guests on a Saturday evening. Like some of the other reviewers, I can say the whole experience took way too long. I m also not sure whose interpretation of fine dining is having water glasses filled every 10 minutes when few were actively drinking it, but in a private room full of guests it quickly became irritating. Beef carpaccio was fair, but the quantity of shaved parm on top was a little much, and the beef was not layered on the plate but literally stuck to it requiring scraping to eat it. Still good though. My ravioli with pesto sauce also quite good. My wife had the seafood linguine and none of the sea scallops were properly cooked. Raw, basically. By the sounds of it, none of the scallops ordered around the table were properly cooked. A waste of an expensive protein for sure. Lamb chops also appeared raw/undercooked but were apparently quite good. The real issue came when it was time to pay. Our server was relatively attentive and nice, but the billing per couple was a comedy of errors. We completely understand he is new to the restaurant but straightening this out took the better part of a hour with other staff required to clear it up.We sent the majority of our party home while we waited to pay. We also appreciate how difficult serving large groups is, but billing should be a straight forward process. Once we reviewed the menu prior to this night, and seeing the pricing I believe we expected excellence, but fell well short of it. The atmosphere is a bit tired, with chairs lining hallways only adding to the clutter. Service was slow and staggered from guest to guest. I think the fair thing would have been for two servers to handle larger groups to try and make dishes land in unison. Again, for less money it would not be noticed, but at this price point it s the expectation. To the proprietors, perhaps align the pricing of your offering realistically to the service you provide. When you inflate pricing to create an impression of luxury you need to be able to execute as your patrons will naturally be more critical with higher expectations. End-to-end 4+ hours to complete. Could have eaten at The Keg twice, and for half the money.

We had our mom s 65th birthday party at Cherry House recently and we cannot say enough positive things about the experience leading up to it and the event itself. Michael, James, and team went above and beyond to make the planning and event seamless and stress-free for us from start to finish. Not only was the venue beautiful (we were set up perfectly in their gorgeous Stone Room), the was food delicious, and the service was exceptional. On top of all that, our guest of honour (our mom) was treated like a queen for her day, and frankly, so were the rest of us. Thank you so much, Cherry House team, for making this milestone event an amazing one to remember always!

Just wanted to share our experience dining here. We went for our anniversary and had a fella named Gary serving us. Low and behold through conversation it was his anniversary too! The food was bar none the best weve had in Burlington. We had the surf and turf which was absolutely delicious. The real gem was our server. He treated us like royalty without hovering. Everytime we needed something he was there in a pinch. Cant say enough great things about this fella and this impeccable restaurant! If youre wanting ro have the best food, best service, best atmosphere run to this establishment. You wont be disappointed

This place is a hidden gem & my number one place to recommend to anyone I meet. Staff treat you like family and the food is top shelf The Chef is incredible & makes everything in house. Delicious food and fantastic wine, great service

My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary here and couldnt ask for a better experience. The atmosphere was phenomenal, the staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food was unbelievable (we had the avocado bruschetta, shrimp and scallop linguine and beed penne). The best part of the evening was our server - Morgan (ask for her by name, youll be happy you did). She was very personable, great energy and was an absolute delight on such an important occasion. Not only did she congratulate us throughout - she brought us flowers, desert and waiting 30 minutes after closing to make sure we were completely ready and relaxed. Can recommend her and Cherry House enough. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

Excellent meal and excellent service. My 6 oz fillet looked closer to 10 oz and was cooked to perfection. The servers never hovered but were always there at the appropriate time.

Beef carpaccio and lobster crabcakes were amazing. The scallops were super tender blended with an excellent seafood combination!

I get it that the price can seem steep at face value but once you finish your food I can almost guarantee that you will not regret it. We visit Burlington and like to try higher end dining experiences. We were 2 adults with toodlers . The restaurant didnt have the booster chairs and this made dining a bit more difficult. However the drinks we purchased were really good . However we were disappointed with the amount of salt used in several dishes the serving bread was heavily salted as well as our stuffed chicken entree the risotto was horrible it was like eating from a salt shaker . When we told the server there wasnt any empathy for the mistake. We did like the Cesar salad as well lobster cakes .

Fine dining without being overly pretentious. Not sure if this is each day, but the risotto was vegetarian which offered more options for those that do not eat meat. It was really good, too. Portions are good, food is delicious and the drinks were nice. The servers were fun and joked around.

We came here last night for my Dad s 75th birthday. Everything about our experience was top notch. We had the tomahawk steak along with a bunch of other sharing plates and everything was incredible, with a notable mention of the bottomless bread which I m still thinking about. To top it all off, our server, Jesse was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable on every single drink and menu item, as well as being so personable and lovely to talk to. I said to my family after he provided the best service I have come across in any restaurant. They also treated my dad to a nice birthday cheesecake to finish off. It is pricey but it s worth every dollar. We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is great, the seating area has a classy ambiance to it. The service is the best I ve ever received at a restaurant. From the welcome to the table, to the upkeep, everything was well thought out and executed. The servers were nice, and on top of things. They were very professional and elevated the experience The food is nothing to write home about, the carpaccio was good. But chicken and penne left a lot to be desired.

Beauty place. The food was amazing. Steak was done to perfection. Service was exactly what I expected and hoped for. Top notch. And they all work as a team, which made for a great night. The only complaint, which was not a fault of the restaurant, is that a group of 3 couples came in, and were seated right next to us - obnoxious to listen to for pretty much our entire visit. Vulgar, profane conversation, just no class for a place like this.

On Saturday March 2nd we hosted a Celebration event in honour of our son and fiancé s upcoming wedding in June. We had a truly wonderful experience! With the help of James our event planner and his staff at The Cherry House, they were able to accommodate 21 guests to an evening of fine dining, wonderful service and great ambiance. We are still hearing from our guests what a wonderful experience everyone had Saturday evening. I look forward to recommending The Cherry House to family and friends for future upcoming events. We would like to thank James and his staff for a beautiful evening.

I recently visited Cherry House for the first time, when my bosses and colleagues took me for dinner to celebrate my 15th work anniversary. Every aspect of the evening was amazing, starting with the warm welcome by the owner as we entered and the team of professionals that served us table side. (I highly recommend their signature drink called a cherry drop!). Everyone s dinner looked as delicious as it tasted, I had the veal and scallops and it was absolutely divine! We finished with their delicious cheesecake and baked Alaska, all outstanding! What a great experience, can t wait to go back! Shout outs to Chef Anthony, Michael and Jesse for making the night especially memorable!

Exceptional service and for the most part, food was great - the house bread was brilliant. My only knock was that the sea scallops had grit, which added a very unpleasant texture.

Some fantastic food, very happy with our server. Despite seating in a booth with a curtain and a barrier to the next table that went nearly to the ceiling, we unfortunately had to listen to every word from a neighbouring table, an issue dining out we have never had before. Perhaps an older group that needed to talk loudly and not the restaurants fault? We will likely come back again.

My wife and I tried combining her birthday and our anniversary celebration at Cherry House recently. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. Unfortunately, as we took our first sips of our cocktails our babysitter called to say our little guy was sick at home!! :( The staff were very kind and understanding, helped us get out quickly and even sent us with a traveller dessert. Really nice to see a place that actually cares about the customers. Well try again in a few weeks!..... and our little guy is feeling much better:)

The fish platter was excellent but the petite fillet was a little overdone. Management (Cosmo) quickly offered to replace it and followed up with a complimentary entree. Great service.

Arguably the finest dining experience I can remember. The food was perfection, the restaurant is beautiful but what really made the evening so special was our server James and the owner, Michael. Both are professionals in the truest sense of the word, experts in providing an experience of the highest quality and standards. Cherry House is a fancy dining spot where they go all out with the little details, like offering Listerine in the bathrooms and providing hand towels. Its a shame that some people will show up in t-shirts and $30 sweatpants and drop $250 on a dinner showing no attempt to look respectable. Sheesh. Despite that, on my second visit, the experience was top-notch. The staff was attentive and made sure our drinks were always filled and our orders were delivered efficiently. They brought out delicious in house baked bread, although we were a bit disappointed when the promised butter never arrived for the second loaf. The bread ended up being cleared away with the dishes, which was a waste. As for the food, I went for the Rib Eye and it was amazing. The 18 oz piece of beef was grilled to perfection, just the right amount of marbling, and cooked medium. It came with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and carrots that were cooked perfectly. I devoured the whole thing and even got to try some of the desserts ordered by others. Overall, it was a great dining experience at Cherry House. 5 stars.

Our party of 3 visited on Monday evening for the first time. Very appealing atmosphere and Mateja our main server was professional, pleasant and appropriately attentive. The food quality was simply excellent. We enjoyed the NY striploins and my Australian lamb rack was superb, the most flavourful Ive had. Top marks for fine dining and service!

Our first visit to Cherry House ..wow. We were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked in the door. An employee happened to open the door for us on our arrival..probably not routine..and we were introduced to the ladies at the reception desk. They immediately showed us to our table. Very elegant, comfortable decor. Our server, Mattea, was excellent and could explain exactly how each sauce or meal was prepared. The servers worked as a team so someone was always aware of our needs. I had veal and scallops..incredible..best scallops ever. Husband had the rack of lamb..also cooked to perfection. Had the pleasure of meeting the charming owner Michael Cherry. Our new favourite dining experience. Well done Mr Cherry!

This restaurant is beautiful. The staff were great. Im giving 4 stars because Unfortunately my food was a bit over cooked. The steak was well instead of medium rare and the lobster was a bit chewy because it was a bit over cooked but The appetizers were great and presentation was also beautiful. They did not have any gelato left which i was really looking forward to trying as we did not go too late. But still a beautiful place but i dont think i would return.

First of all I m going to start by saying this is HANDS DOWN the best food I ve ever consumed in my life ! Normally I go to restaurants and I walk away with a doggy bag but this I licked the plate clean ! The food was amazing and the service was 10/10 ! The servers were all lovely and very entertaining ! Montana was hilarious and her amazing beautiful soul made it a wonderful place ! Michael was kind and always checking in with us and he wasn t even serving our table ! Went out for dinner with friends and had an amazing time! The drinks were delicious and not watered down at all. Food was fresh and flavourful. My favourite part would definitely be the service. Our servers were funny and made the night special, definitely will be back here. 10/10

Great atmosphere, service was ok, always had to ask for a refill of drinks or bread, etc. Ordered the seafood platter and surprised only one scallop to go with the only 2 shrimp but lobster tail was big! My wife s steak was not cooked well done not even the second time they send it to her. We would have preferred a baked potato than mashed potatoes. Kudos to the owner who greeted us! Loved Jesse the waiter who came later to see how are food was! He made our evening! We will come back but be careful what we order next time!

Christmas dinner perfection!! We really cant come up with anything to be improved on. From being greeted warmly by the owner in the lobby, to being bid good night by our server at the outside door. Food, ambiance, decor, service, music....all a 10/10. We had a great time. Giant shrimp, scallops, lobster tails. Perfectly cooked and presented. Perfectly cooked lamb, steak and sea bass. House made bread. Worth every penny. Ample parking. Fully accessible.

My Husband & I have eaten at a lot of steak and seafood places that used to be decent but over the years have gone downhill - The Cherry house is NOT that place - You will experience the best high end customer service anywhere ! Visited twice in December 2022 and had an excellent experience both times. Our second visit was a large family function (19 of us) in the private room which I highly recommend. Our server was fantastic, the menu offers many great choices and the food itself was amazing. UPDATE: Visited again in Dec 2023 with our group of 21. The food surpassed that of last year. Truly outstanding! Parking: Lots of convenient free parking.

I got married here a week ago. The service, food and experience was phenomenal. All guests have been raving about the food for a week. Highly recommend for an intimate dinner or any celebration. The perfect place for anything! :)

I thought that this restaurant was absolutely beautiful. From waitstaff to the incredible Chefs behind the amazing cuisine I had whilst eating there, I felt warm and welcomed. The décor was charming yet sophisticated with gorgeous touches of rustic features, including the gorgeous light fixtures throughout. I would highly recommend the chicken, their steaks, and all appetizers on the menu.

My son, Chase, and I were in for a quick steak tonight for dinner. The Chef team cooked the steak perfectly and the sauce, mashed potatoes and vegetables were wonderful. Another amazing experience at Cherry House.

I took my son and his partner out for dinner here after they came in from a long trip. The ambiance is lovely and even though my boys were extremely casually dressed, we were warmly welcomed and given a lovely table. It really is a beautiful setting for dinner. The menu is quite extensive - something for every taste. The mushroom soup starter was amazing - velvety smooth, so flavourful and simply delicious. The bread....let me just say that we took what was left over from that generous helping home. The steaks were perfectly cooked to order, could not have been more tender and the fat perfectly rendered. I tasted my sons lamb and it, too was just perfectly done. Excellent meal, attentive service. When i didnt eat my grilled calamari, the waiter came over to ask if he could get me something else. Nothing was wrong with the calamari but i appreciated the offer - It was delicious and tender - but i had already eaten too much of their delicious bread. All good steak houses are pricey - but this is just another level of quality - without an outrageous price jump (although i did want to order the 3 jumbo shrimp app for $33 to see why... - next time). The owner was also around and popped in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. In essence, the meal could not have been better and i have put this on my list of go-to restaurants and highly recommend it whether for a special occasion or regular dinner.

My husband and I went here for date night and randomly found it on Google. We are so glad we did! It was absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing- especially the crab! Huge pieces and so warm. Their booths are great if you re looking for a very private feeling. The best part was our server Jesse. You can tell he has been perfecting his craft for as long as he had mentioned. His attention to detail and his mannerisms were top notch. The way he listed the daily features was like listening to a story (unlike listening to a server list them off like they re nervously trying to remember what the chef said). The owner Mike was also present and came around to ask how our evening was. We didn t know he was the owner until Jesse pointed it out and we loved seeing the owner so present. Would highly recommend.

It is an amazing romantic place to eat. The service was top notch. My husband loves to make new friends and can talk to anyone. These guys had all the patience in the world. Food, OMG!!! I had the lobster ravioli, Im telling you its worth every penny. My husband had the veal and scallops, I wanted his too. If you are looking for an anniversary dinner then I recommend Cherry House!

Top notch restaurant in all aspects; the food , service, location, hospitality and team. We had a great time celebrating my mom s birthday and all the planning done was perfectly executed. So thankful for Mike and James and of course our server Rick who kept all our guests happy !

Me and my friends had a great time there, the ambience was magnificent, the food for me was not so great, I ordered the salmon, and it came plain with one piece of broccolini....our sever (Daniel) though went out if his way to get me a plate of mixed vegetables to make up for my disappointment

Grilled octopus was excellent, as was the steak. Tomato sauce was a little too sweet for me. Rick was great at taking care of us. Interior was a little too dark, but seats were very comfortable.

This place is great for what it is. It is fine dining and definitely a nice experience overall. The food is good, we were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Our server and bartender Jessie was amazing and his hospitality was top notch. One thing to call out would be that the avocado bruschetta was a bit too salty and the food service was slow. The ambience is really nice and the decor is beautiful. Didnt really take a lot of photos as we were busy enjoying the dinner.

His vision reflects in the operation - and as a diner, I love seeing that. It just makes for better experience. Food and high products are the showcase. Japanese Wagyu, Baked Alaska, King Crab and more - the food and service are both well executed. There is a dining room side and bar side. I prefer the bar side. The atmosphere is fun and not pretentious. Good wine and exotic liquor selection. For example, 25 yr Scotch and Private label wines. With a professional and stylish design, I see families, dates, parties and corporate events all going on here. If you like high end experiences, this is definitely a place to put on your list. Make sure to ask for the private Quick acknowledgement to the staff - Jesse is a star, Alex at the bar, and Costa/James on the dining room side. All full of genuine hospitality and make us feel so welcomed.

My husband brought me here for my birthday and we were both pleasantly surprised by how lovely our experience was. Our food was very yummy and fresh. The service was good, but you can get forgotten about in the booths as they are more hidden. Although it s private and romantic. We really enjoyed our food and will be back.

I would never waste my money again(well over $500),at Cherry House. I ordered salad that when it arrived at the table was served in a pasta type bowl, swimming in watered down dressing. To add injury to insult the bacon in on the salad was bordering on burnt. The lettuce was so bitter it was surely old. My husband and Friend ordered a Chicken dish, when they arrived I thought it was squab. Hardly no meat at all. Save your cash. Just because a place looks more fine dinning doesnt mean it is.

Our family of 4 recently dined at Cherry House in Burlington and it was a wonderful experience. Loved our booth and the overall ambiance is warm and elegant. We kicked off our meal with a delightful seafood chowder that set the tone for the evening. The toasted bread with butter was a delicious prelude. The star of the show, however, was the steaks. The filet mignon and NY strip were cooked to perfection and left us craving for more. The Truffle Parmesan fries were the absolutely delicious as were the sautéed mushrooms. The Sea-bass with scallops was absolutely delish as well. Our server was not only extremely knowledgeable but also exceptionally welcoming and charismatic making the dining experience more enjoyable. However, the only drawback was the slow service, which is not typical for this restaurant as I have dined here previously and did not experience this. While the quality of food and service was exceptional, the cost of the meal for a party of four came to more than $500.00. Its undeniably on the pricey side, but the phenomenal food and pleasant staff do make it a worthwhile splurge for a special occasion. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly

We were coming from Montreal and they made us feel like we were home. All the team is thinking about all the details during the service. The owner was at the entrance to welcome his customers. Food was awesome. I can t wait to come back in Ontario just to be there for a second time.

The Cherry House restaurant is the best restaurant I have eaten at. The staff were very well prepared for our delicious dinner. We did not feel rushed and were seated next to the 15 foot Christmas tree and fireplace. I am a world traveler, and this is my number one pick. Parking: There is plenty of parking available here.

I hosted my company holiday Christmas party at Cherry House, after having dined here a number of times in smaller groups, and was so glad I did. The team helped me curate a custom menu for both food and drink, printed them with our company branding, and set a beautiful table in the stone room for the occasion. The food here is impeccable - I have tried almost the whole menu at this point and am continually impressed at how perfectly cooked, spiced, and presented every dish is. The cocktail and wine menu are extensive and the service is top tier. It was a busy Friday night, every table was full, but our server Maya never missed a beat. She was incredibly personable, knew the menu like the back of her hand, and was confident in making recommendations and food and drink pairings that made sense. The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and every staff member we interacted with were incredibly pleasant. The owner Michael and Head Chef Anthony both made an appearance at the table to ensure everything was up to my standards and I just really appreciated that extra level of consideration and how far the entire Cherry House team went to ensure our entire evening was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be joining them again - I love that they can do both small intimate dinners and host larger parties/events at scale and provide the same impeccable dining experience each time.

Met the owner and staff due to a medical emergency. Owner was compassionate and attentive, due to confidentiality issues can t say more, but if the owner is a reflection of the quality of the food and service, this place is one of the best.

I ve been coming to Cherry House now for a few years since it opened. Our work Christmas parties have been here the past 2 years and it never disappoints. In my opinion the best steakhouse in the entire GTA, the food is sublime, but it s everything else that comes with it to make it an experience to remember, the hand crafted cocktails are exquisite, the wine list is never ending, the service and attention to detail from the staff flawless, special mentions to James, Maya, Cosmo and of course Michael. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I m not sure it would be enough, if you haven t been you re missing out. Go and thank me later!!

Grumpy, unfriendly, totally off-putting waiters serving you dinner with an attitude. We hated it. After ordering a bottle of red wine, the waiter tried to trick us into ordering a slightly different varietal at $180 bottle of wine without telling us the price. I got a bad feeling and checked the wine list and thankfully caught that. The waiter looked uniquely unimpressed and snobby about it. The decor is tacky, circa-1980s but 1980s with no taste. The music was VERY loud. It was cheesy Christmas big band music. It was hard to think or have a conversation. Too bad, the food was quite good. But zero chance Im putting myself or my family through that experience again.

Exceptional experience, immaculate service; the chef is top tier and creates masterpieces for all palates with a concise and refined menu, which also includes kids items so no one is left out. Im well versed in fine dining, and this restaurant has a bright future for many decades to come. I highly recommend this venue for all occasions where you expect all-encompassing 5 star service, 5 star atmosphere, and most importantly, 5 star cuisine. My compliments to the chef and all staff that made my first impressions one of the best in recent years. Happy holidays!

Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, definitely recommend.

The food is amazing. Some portions are rather small so you do need to have am appetizer but it is absolutely delicious! The service is always great, courteous and welcoming. The prices are on the higher end (again, compared to the size of the meals) but some can say its worth it. Definitely a great experience dining here. Oh, and the bar offers a super wide variety of drinks!
