This is my go to for Indian in Burlington. The naan is a cut above the normal and the portions are generous and always well done.

We tried the dinner for 2 and it was excellent! Great portion sizes and we still had leftovers. The Naan bread tastes so fresh and the curries were very flavourful. I also enjoyed the vegetable pakora. A fantastic spot in downtown Burlington!

We ordered Chicken Tikka, momos and some naan. Trust me the chicken was stale, uncooked and tasted really horrible. More like rubber tikka than chicken tikka. The bread was just okay. You dont want to eat here at all unless you like being very disappointed with your food.

They have vegan options! Shout out to the sweet and sour eggplant!!!!!! Best dish ever and it s vegan. The staff was also very nice and were super helpful! Also the pokoras were very good too. Will be back for sure.

Always a great place to visit. Delicious food, friendly staff. Weve had lots of great lunch meetings here. Parking can be tricky to find but its not expensive to park at least. The butter chicken, korma, and vindaloo are great. Theyll make it extra spicy or not spicy if you ask. A drink menu would be great. We always just get water but would love a cheetah with lunch.

The staff here is amazing and they go above and beyond for service. Food was excellent especially the spinach paneer and the samosas. Will def be back but after I eat all my leftovers as the portion sizes are great. Probably the best Northern Indian restaurant in the GTA. My wife and I have been eating here for the past decade and the quality has always been top notch. Fresh ingredients and excellent customer service make this place a rare gem.

I came here by chance and I m so pleased that I did. Good authentic Indian food. I really enjoyed the South Indian curries. Garlic Naan was really good and crisp. Staff is super nice and made good recommendations that worked for me.

I ordered pakora 2/5, chicken tandoori masala 1/5, paneer tikka masala 2.5/5. Waiter s behaviour is very nice but i did not like the food at all. We drove 30 mins to try their food. Not satisfied at all. I paid 74 dollars but could not eat anything properly.

Ordered kadhai paneer, dal makhani, chicken biryani and kids meal butter chicken Portion size and taste was very good for everything we ordered. Onion Kulcha was soft and fresh. Tandoori Roti was thin and nicely baked. Service was a bit not-up-to-the-mark as the server missed a couple items we ordered but he made up with complimentary Gulab Jamuns for all 6 of us. Overall a great place to eat authentic Indian Cuisine with decent pricing for the quantity.

We ordered samosa, paneer makhani garlic naan. It was amazing, paneer makhani was little bland but as soon as we informed them, they fixed it for us and then it was perfect. 10/10 for the food and service.

Went here for date night and we were highly impressed! Food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Very fair prices and a lovely atmosphere for dining in.

We have dined at Amaya Express in Burlington since they opened and have always enjoyed our experience there. Since covid restrictions set in, we have used their delivery service which has been excellent. Always within the time frame given and very friendly service. The food always arrives piping hot and as delicious as ever. Well done to the Burlington team!

Dined at Amaya tonight. It is my favourite restaurant and my favourite Indian food. Lina, the owner is so nice and helpful. All the employees that we spoke with were also very nice. Food was fresh and delicious. I wish I could give 6 stars on this because it was so good.

Loved the food, especially the garlic naans TBH you can have a garlic naan just by itself, full of flavour and zing. All the curries we ordered were just delicious, cant have enough. Super friendly staff and very accommodating. The manager made sure we were enjoying our meals and if everything was all good. P.S. take on their recommendations and you wont go wrong.

We have gone to Amaya for years despite living 40 minutes away and we have always enjoyed great service and good food. We were shocked when we went for dinner tonight and the prices on the menu had dramatically changed and the portion sizes were noticeably smaller. We ordered the meal for 4 and the butter chicken had 5 pieces of chicken in it. The meal that previously came with 3 meat dishes now offered only 2 at a higher price. There is also no longer dessert included anymore. We understand the increases cost of food would result in higher menu prices but this was so significant that the value is no longer there and we won t return.

Portions size for the chicken and lamb biryani is extremely small for the price. There take out container is 6 inch diameter and 1 inch deep for $18 no way save your money.

So disappointed that I cannot order online unless the subtotal is $115 or more! Was ordering for myself and I can t leave the house tonight. Such a shame. I phoned in my order and thankfully was table to order without any problem. Food was delivered and delicious. Seems like it s a glitch with the online order system.

Veg korma was pathetic. Full of big chunks of undercooked carrots and french beans and watery gravy. Naan was more like a kulcha. Found a small stone in one of the dishes. Disappointed. Server was cooperative so giving 2 stars otherwise food was 0.1 star

Authentic Indian food. We always goto Amaya in Toronto for their dal makhni, palak paneer and Momos. Burlington branch has nice dine in restaurants and good taste with great hosts. Would love to visit again when ever around Burlington.

Its is the worst restaurant Ive ever been to. Momos should be dry inside but when I cracked open all the juice splattered all over me. The chicken kebab is worst. Taste like soya. Its not like we are new to indian food, so please stop making fool to indian person. And the worst part is that they even havent apologized and havent refused to take payment. Please guys dont waste your money here.

Vegetarian options: This place broke the records in terms of flavour, hygiene, ambience and customer service. We ordered kadhai paneer in main course and Momos fried for appetizer, I must say everything was unexpected wonderful. Well-balanced flavours and the guy who served us performed good job in serving whole meal course.

My husband and I went to Amaya Express last night for dinner and we were SO impressed by the food and the service. The food arrived piping hot from the kitchen, was so fresh, and had so much flavour. The portion sizes were generous and we had lots to take home. Our server was so nice and helpful. There are lots of vegan options on the menu which I appreciate so much. Amaya Express is our new favourite spot for Indian food and we will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: I really appreciated that the menu and our server differentiated between the vegetarian and fully vegan options on the menu! This is a cozy place for family gatherings and casual dinners. Service was good and the server was friendly. Food presentation was not as seen on photos. But food was good.

Weve gotten takeout a couple times now from Amaya and the food is always very consistently delicious and hearty. The portions are a tad on the smaller side compared to some of the other Indian places in Burlington, but the quality of the food is good. Support local during these tough times and order takeout if you can!

Very weak customer service. I had ordered 2 simple dishes which cost me $45. I asked for a non- spicy food and on the phone they told me they will make sure the food is non-Spicy. They delivered the food when it was written mild on it and it was very spicy. After I called them told me they cant do anything for that, just next time they will make it non spicy! I am not happy with the wrong information they gave me before ordering the food, manipulating and not respecting the customer, they were not polite and they said they are busy with other call and disconnected the phone without any respect.

My husband and I just ordered chicken tikka Masala today and just amazing! So authentic! We have never eaten at this Amaya location before but so good. The best one yet. Tastes like someone really cooked their home cooked love in a dish. We have eaten at a few amaya locations and never have they been this good!! We will definitely be back again. Maybe tomorrow. Dreaming about the flavors.

Worst Indian food. I ordered chicken kabob, chicken tikka masala and naan. Chicken tikka was basically chicken thrown in tomato puree; it has no flavor and taste like tomato puree. chicken kabob was under cooked and didnt taste good at all. Naan is most basic think every Indian food chef must know. their naan was so thick and taste like eating raw dough. Very bad food.

I always order for take out and food is always ready on time and is accurate to order. Food is delicious. They have the best samosas and they have excellent variety. At first glance, it seems expensive but I find it is great value for money due to the excellent quality and generous portions. Ordering a rice and curry is enough to feed myself for a few meals so it actually cheaper than eating at some fast food places. The Paneer Makhani, samosas, Lasuni Cauliflower are all must trys.

If you are planning to have dinner here on Saturday night make sure you place order atleast 36Hours before only then there are chances that they will not make you wait for more then 10mins.

Multiple times we have arrived to grab a pickup order made online only to find that the restaurant hadnt even started on it. If you dont want to check your website, dont offer online ordering. Food is also only average, though the location is convenient.

Ive been to this location of Amaya twice. Both times the food was excellent. The tandoor chef really knows his stuff. The varieties of naan offered here are phenomenal. Do not miss out on the kebabs either. I have also ordered catering from this location for approximately 170 people. The food was raved over by everyone who tasted it. Definitely one of the joints I would recommend if you ever have a craving for Indian Cuisine.

I have been to Amaya Express many time, and every time there is good food and great staff! Definitely a first pick for Indian food in Burlington, whether it be dining in or taking out!

We have been loyal customers for a long time, but recently our takeout experience has been very disappointing. I think as their customer base grew they kind of got spoiled. The portions are ridiculously small, the quality of food is lacking, I will definitely take my business elsewhere, they don t deserve our loyalty.

Big fan of their Mississauga location at Square One Mall so decided to try their Burlington location today. Super disappointed! Food was absolutely disgusting. Waited 15mns for their chana batura because it s always made fresh they said but there is no way what I got was fresh! The puri s were loaded with oil especially around the edges which indicated it s staleness right off the bat. The first bite proved the rest. Felt like I was eating rubber. This may work on other nationalities who don t really know the difference but will never work on people who eat this stuff regularly and know better! The chana was also horrific. Overloaded with oil, thick gravy and totally inedible. Again appeared like it was made days ago as the gravy thickens with time. Fresh gravy is light and runny. Save your money and don t eat here. If there was an option to give zero stars I would take it.

Very Bad pickup service : Always almost order i NOT READY for skip pickup. Waited half an hour for order pickup Have to press button at back door to call them several times and after that one of the staff member came and told me that it will be a couple of minutes. I reached back after 10-12 minutes, pressed button and another guy came and told me they just packing it. after waiting of another 15Min, I pressed button again and came with order and told me sorry for little wait. little? seriously? Also meanwhile tried to contact customer service, They told me that Restaurant stated that order is ready!! Very Bad experience for pickup! If you cant handle delivery, dont do it and save A LITTLE time!

We always enjoy our meal here great butter chicken. Very good and friendly service.

Great costal menu. Ambience is great as well, takes you back to India. Definitely recommended to soothe your indian cravings and seafood is a must try.
