Indian Fine Dine, Take out, Catering, Kitty Party Hall
This place Is a Hidden Gem!! They should improve the front of building sign because the food is the best indian food I've had in a looooong time. The atmosphere is amazing too... decorated very nicely. Will definitely return again :) we ate everything!
Went her eon a Friday eve, it was busy but not packed and the service was excellent! Very attentive, and pleasant, Thank you Karan! The food was amazing!!! So good! atmosphere was warm and lovely. Prices were very reasonable and fair. We're really looking forward to going back! Thank you!
My team ordered catering from Prince of Indian... the food, best we ever had.. all my staff really enjoyed it. The staff at Prince of Indian were very polite and took great care of us. The amount of food they gave us was amazing. We had a team of 45, and we could have served 80 people. Amazing Prince of Indian we will be sure to order again and visit the restaurant next time.
We had lunch here today. Decorations is nice but light is a bit dim. Maybe for evening dinner or drink will be okay. No other customers but the waitress keep missing to the back, so we have to wait a bit longer. Food came out quickly though. We had chicken briyani and tandoori tika. Briyani taste like fried rice, I think they don't use saffron. They probably use tumeric for coloring. No cardamom and cloves. The rice cool very quick, they should put the briyani in a clay pot or stainless steel pot to keep it warm instead in a plate. Tandoori tika is a bit better, it is in a sizzling plate. Taste is good but chicken breast is a bit dry. Sorry to say that we didn't like the food 😞 I hope they will improve the service and the food.
Loved that the portions were really big. The taste was phenomenal. The server went out of her way to bring food for my toddler first. She could see that my toddler was hungry. Really appreciate it. I went on a weekend and it was not too busy. Will definitely be back again if I am in the area.
We visited this place on a Sunday, expecting a wait. But surprisingly the place had few patrons. We ordered the dahi chaat, chicken bhuna masala, garlic Naan, roti and Afghani malai chicken. The food was succulent, especially the bhuna, which was spiced perfectly. The breads were soft and were cooked evenly. The ambience is beautiful, although I would prefer more light. The place is spacious with a bar seating as well. The staff is courteous and efficient. Definitely a must visit for the ambience and the delicious food.
After spending some quality time at Burlington Lakeshore, we decided to go to the Prince to India for dinner. The ambience is really good. Food was delicious. We ordered Dahi Chaat Papri, Daal Makhni, Garlic Naan, Plain Naan. Chaat papri was really delicious. Daal Makhni was a little salty which was taken care of, and they replaced it quickly. Quantity was good too. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
We went for lunch there and ordered samosa, daal makhni and paneer butter masala along with garlic naan, normal naam and roti and mango lassi. Samosa - 3/5 Daal makhni - 2/5 Paneer Butter masala - 5/5 Naans - 5/5 The daal makhni could have been better it was very watery. However, the paneer butter masala was really good. Will be returning here again.
Great food and service
Ordered through skip . Taste was horrible .
It used to be my favourite place earlier, but these days, food quality is just being ignored. I was a regular customer and always left a tip for the Gentleman who used to work here. Unfortunately, they ruined my dinner tonight and I won t be returning here again. I wish, I had clicked pictures.
Great food & large portions.
Hey poeple this is the best food I eat in Canada.prince of India.love
Best Jain Food made available - Very tasty food.. Butter Lachha paratha - awesome texture & taste...
Food was really delicious. It was our 3rd time we came in this restaurant. Amazing customer service and delicious food. Must try peshavri naan, fish and dal makhni. Environment is so peaceful in the restaurant.
If you are looking for authenticity and flavor and aroma, this is the best Indian place in the GTA. I am surprised why this place is any lower than 4.8.
Great place Definitely check it out Food
We ordered naan, Tandoori chicken, Madras Shrimp curry ,Hariyali chicken and mojitos Mojitos didn t taste anything like a mojito. Naan was super soggy and oily didn t feel like it was cooked in a tandoor Tandoori chicken, Madras shrimp curry and hariyali chicken all tasted horrible, none of them had authentic taste . We took one bite and left it and paid the bill and was about to leave. When the feedback was given, one of the waitresses became very aggressive and raised her voice. I will never go again to this horrible place nor I do recommend for any desi s. Reply for the owner- I had visited your restaurant on 26th October I have the credit card transaction for the amount of $89.10 billed at your restaurant. I would have appreciated if you had owned up to your poor quality of service and horrible food.
So i happened to try this restaurant about a month back just based on google ratings and yes the ratings do not lie (infact it should be a little more, closer to 5 stars). I have already visited the restaurant 3 more times since the last month. Loved the non veg platter and all the chicken gravy dishes (tried the vindaloo and bhuna chicken). There is one item that is not there on the menu but it is a star - try the masala fries (ordering this is kind of a ritual of us, goes great with drinks). Love the price point and value for money this place offers and the service is phenomenal even on busy days. Definitely 5 stars for me and always lives upto my expectations. Cheers guys, keep it up !!!!
Great samosa poutine
First off the food is amazing and it all just melts in your mouth and leaves you with wanting more. It was a rice with slices of vegetables for what we got and it added on to give it some variety to the flavor if I remember correctly. We had to wait 20 minutes but it was worth it in my opinion to eat such amazing food for the first time.
Ranjhana always serves so nicely..! Good place good service!
Amazing place, amazing service, even better food!!!!
Food was v fresh , not spicy ( perfect for kids ) , our server Jashan was simply amazing .
Food quality was so delicious whic i ordered amd the ambiance was also awesome.
Dining at Prince of India was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. As someone who s dined at many Indian restaurants, I can confidently say this one stands out for its exceptional food, warm atmosphere, and attention to detail. I opted for the Vegetarian Thali, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The variety of dishes on the plate was impressive, each offering a different taste, texture, and level of spice. The dal was rich and comforting, while the vegetable curries were bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. The portion size was incredibly generous, making it not just a meal, but a feast that I savored until the very last bite. One of the highlights of the meal was definitely the Sooji Halwa. It was the perfect dessert soft, light, and just the right level of sweetness. Each spoonful melted in my mouth, and it felt like the perfect finish to such a satisfying meal. I can t forget to mention the naan, which was absolutely divine. It was soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of chewiness, and paired perfectly with the rich curries. You can tell it s freshly made, and I could easily have eaten it on its own. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. It s clear that Prince of India takes pride in both the food and the customer experience. From the quality and quantity of the food to the cozy and welcoming ambiance, this restaurant truly offers an amazing dining experience. I ll definitely be back soon!
Place is amazing great food its very flavorful and perfect good service too never had a bad meal here only bad thing is I eat to much cause its delicious lol
Everytime we visit here because of food quality
We visit regularly mostly for their thali which is delicious and good value for money. However a few of their other dishes weve tried are amazing too.
Ordered the dahi papdi chaat - it was ok. The tandoori salmon was well made and was delicious. Ambience is nice.
Great food. Nice place. Friendly staff. Must visit place for indian food Food : 5/5 |
This is one of the better Indian restaurants I have been to. We ordered 4 dishes with 4 garlic naans/rice and it was more than enough for 4 people. Everything was tasty and had good flavours. Will go again.
Prince-of-India is the absolute best place in Burlington for Indian food! The various curries are made to your desired spice level. I prefer mild and they can accommodate any spice preference. Their menu is truly authentic and delicious. The naan bread is always fresh-to-order and hot out of the oven. Cannot get any better than this. :) For lunch, various Thali options include different kinds of curries, vegetables, naan, rice and dessert- it s a full meal with lots of flavour and great value. Lots of great dinner items too. Give it a try at Prince of India- you ll be so glad you did. Vegetarian options: Absolutely delicious vegetarian food- tons of options you will LOVE!
Amazing food and great service
A very unique restaurant with proper Indian decor and authentic Indian food. Will be a regular here!
Great ambience, good service, excellent food
My all time favourite dine in spot. Their customer service is great and the owner of this place is such a nice person!! Will recommend to everyone.
Great food!
Truly a prince of food. I really liked what I have ordered Karahi Paneer, roti and biryani. Everything was delicious. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job, very much appreciated!!
One of the best Indian places in the Burlington area, we are from the UK and used to different style of Indian food, this is the nearest we have found to what we get back home, food is very tasty and good portions, some of the best nan bread Ive tasted. Service is good, but not as forth coming as it could be and feel the need to ask for things like water and such. All in all its fantastic.
One of the best foods near Toronto. We ordered chhole bhature, soya chap Tikka masala, and kulacha with Lassi. Everything we ordered was delicious. Neither overly spicy nor sweet. Ambience was comforting and peaceful (probably because it was late). I will sure visit the restaurant, if I am in the area.
Delicious food, nice environment, well taken care by Ranjana. Must visit place.
One of my favorite Indian restaurants. Tasty and delicious food with great atmosphere and service. 5
Good food. Friendly service. Location is convenient. The portion size is big and we had leftovers. One suggestion I have is to cook the naan so that they are less crispy but that is just a personal preference . I would recommend for Indian food.
Wonderful/ambient atmosphere inside.. Nice decor and amazing food, the service is great Recommend
Awesome home style food best dal makhani, dal tadka and chicken tikka ever.
Food selection and quality was amazing! Very large menu, tons to choose from. We will be eating here from now on, on Indian date nights :) Friendly staff Delicious food, with good prices.
Amazing from food & above all Ranjana made our family evening so beautiful with her smile & dedicated service. Every moment was worth it Thank you Thank you Thank you
I visited with my family here.. The place was so tidy and clean. The person who was serving us was very professional, friendly. I really liked the food. I highly recommend this place if you want delicious food at a good place
Went in for take out and it took a good 5 min before I spoke to anyone and the place was empty. The food however is absolutely first rate. Best Garlic naan ever!
Yes, the food is very good BUT that s where it ends. They promote a full bar yet when I asked for a martini I was met with a blank stare and confusion . So I ordered a glass of wine. There are white tablecloths and it seems like it would be fine dining..NOPE. Our host had to stand up after 15 minutes to wave someone down and they were not busy. We arrived at 6.30 and about 7PM on a Saturday night a group of young families arrived with about 10 kids aged 2-10. They ran and screamed and acted like they were at a playground from arrival until we left at 8.45PM. At no time did anyone offer to move us or ask them to behave somewhat free for all with this group spread about randomly like it was their backyard. 7PM to 9PM Kids Party not ever returning. The food wasn t that good
Food was excellent especially the butter Naan bread with the tasty sauces. Waitress was warm and friendly and the service was excellent . We ate till we were bursting ,the food was so delicious.I highly recommend this restaurant . Vegetarian options: Tasty veggie options available .
A bit disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful but the food is not that great frozen veggies where used in the rice and didn t have much flavor and the butter chicken was okay but I feel like the portions are less than in other restaurants
Amazing food and served with love. Families returning from Niagara must visit to complete the trip. Food
Vegetarian options: Paneer butter masala is very good Food
Great Vegetarian options: Rice Food : 5/5 |

The service was slow, but the food is AMAZING! Love the fish curry and chicken tikka masala!!!
I cant say enough good things about this place. The food is delicious and consistent, staff is friendly. Highly recommend

Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Indian snacks! 1235 Fairview St, Burlington 4.5 stars #PrinceOfIndia #BurlingtonEats #IndianCuisine #EveningSnacks
Ordered from this place on uber eats, my order was subsequently canceled 1 hour and 10 minutes after placing it and waiting. Were left to order at another place at 8pm
I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The food was flavorful and expertly prepared, with a diverse menu to choose from. The service was outstanding attentive, friendly, and professional. The ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend!
The food here is so delicious, their pricing is decent and they have excellent portion sizes.
Tried biryani samosa chat and paneer chilli
We ordered daal makhani and paneer butter masala. Both the curries were delicious. Staff was also very nice and warm. Overall a nice experience.
really delicious food. must try chilly chicken.
Amazing food and great customer service
Amazing food! Always a wonderful experience. Thank you Prince of India!
Every time we want Indian food in Burlington, this is our go to spot. Authentic and high quality curry dishes. Naan is perfectly toasted and freshly made. Rice is delicious each and every time. Chicken is always marinated and cooked perfectly, never dry. Ambiance is true to Indian culture with Bollywood films in the background and Indian music. This place is a true gem with consistent flavor and service. A must visit in the area! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options Parking: Parking lot out front

Vegetarian options: Freshly prepared and tasty. Ordered veg food. Food
Nice enough food and staff, but the vibe was a bit dark.
Amazing and Amazing food. Must try Paneer butter masala and laccha parantha. Never had such soft lachcha parantha in Toronto. Chicken curry was mind blowing too. Hospitality was great!! Food : 5/5
Delicious food Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Food : 5/5 |
Delicious Indian food, nice decorations, friendly, knowledgeable service.
Well me and my wife agree it was the best Indian food we ever had and we ve had a lot of Indian food. Service was top notch all the way. Go give it a try!!
Jashan is very nice whenever we come she greet us so well and food is also delicious.
Very disappointed from the service by staff . ,,
Average restaurant from food taste standpoint Ambience is amazing Staff is amazing Food : 2/5
Went there today, waited at the door for 10 min even though its wasnt busy. And after we were seated we were never attended for at least 15 min. So we have to walk out of the restaurant without getting food. Service was very slowwwww. Never coming back again.
Too many TVs, too much music, absent service staff, table organization/cleanliness is only ok. Such a shame BC the food is GREAT!!! Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, gotta hope the kids like spicy food. Not ideal for little ones.
My family and I have been here several times. Food tastes great with lots of flavor. Service is good and will definitely come again.
We entered this plaza only by chance (while coming back from US CBP at Rainbow bridge) , to grab a quick bite to eat, never realized there was this hidden gem Prince of India. Usually we dont goto random Indian restaurants, as the food is usually not that great, but this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We ordered a bunch of stuff I.e. veg manchurian balls / chicken seekh kabab / daal makhani / Shahi Navratan Korma / laccha paratha/ garlic Naan. I am happy to report that every dish was great in taste & freshly made (barring the veg manchurian balls, that were too salty , so we sent them back , and I guess the same order was returned to us tossed in some sweet sauce). Overall it was a great experience, and although it is quiet far for us (Ajax), but we will try to go there again. Hopefully we will have better experience with veg manchurian.
The food is not that as great as what others reviewed. We ordered naans which were all burned. Chicken briyani were too salty. Puri were too plain and ingredients were not much. Service crews were fantastic and the restaurant is really cool place.
Love their food, always fresh, delicious and consistent. We ve tried all their chicken and veg mains - takeout and dine in - and are always more than satisfied. The naans especially are one of the best we ve ever had in Canada. Top choice for Indian food in Burlington.
First time trying, I must say I was very impressed with the Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala! Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. A must try in Burlington!
One of the best and authentic Indian restaurants. Very well prepared and flavourful dishes. Must visit. Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options. Their Dal and Paneer dishes are really good. Lacha Parantha is must. One of the best
We are first time eat dinner in new year but it was amazing food and good service best of my experiences this restaurant Vegetarian options: Paneer butter masala and dal makhni
Great service . Highly recommended
Ordered bhuna chicken, portion was really small compared to the price. Also ordered chili garlic naan and in the name of chilies, they put chili flakes in it. Atmosphere was nice but food is quite overpriced. Definitely not visiting again
We had take out. The tandoori chicken was amazing! So were the vegetable dumplings.
This place is the best in the town. The best chai I have ever had. The staff is amazing and friendly. they do great customer service. I am addicted to this place. I would recommend this place for sure. The atmosphere is so good. I love coming to this place I love their chai.
I always go there at least once a week . I really enjoy the atmosphere and the quantity and quality for food is superrr. I strongly recommend everyone to come here and enjoy their meal
Some of the best Indian food we ve ever had! The chicken harayali and kadahi paneer were excellent, and the gulag-jamun was exquisite
Really good food - plenty of flavor, got there late and it was not crowded but I saw plenty of delivers... so, it s really good! I stayed at the Waterfront hotel - 5 minutes drive. its worth it!
The chef in back is doing the heavy lifting for this restaurant because the service is one of the worst. Food takes very long to come. 35 mins to get the appetizers then 55 mins between the appetizer and the main course. We were party of 6, came with my family, so it stings a bit more because at the end of the day you go to place like this to have a great experience however we were robbed of that because of the bad service. I think the server name was Jashan or I might be wrong however she was very slow and kept forgetting our order as well(just write it down). Now the good part: the taste of the food except for the fried rice was phenomenal. Butter paneer, chilli paneer, dal makhani, assorted naans all of these items were delicious. Kudos to the chef, the food is exceptional tasting which is rare. Hopefully this helps! Vegetarian options: Plenty of very well known and delicious Indian vegetarian main courses and appetizers. Usually just the common ones nothing innovative however very delicious. Desi khana.
Good food and service was great. Overall pleasant experience.
Poor service
Good place to stop by for a quick bite
Always order tandoori chicken from here and find it the best in Burlington to add we order from here every week also loved their palak paneer shahi paneer almost everything we order is the best in town
Dal tadka was great must try.. Papdi chaat was pathetic ,too much tamrind chutney in it.. Needed a lot of extra curd to balance out the flavour. They were courteous enough to provide extra curd. Service was good.
Amazing food. Beat Indian restaurant in Burlington. Tandoori fish and chilli chicken are just best and amazing. Will recommend this place to all to have great Indian Veg and Non Veg food.
Good taste, right price, friendly staff
The restaurant who doesn t even give their employees their deserving tips. Went to the restaurant gave a employee cash tip i later find out the owner snatches it from employees. Really bad thing
Vegetarian options: manchurian, kadai paneer Food
Ordered spicy chicken curry, amazing spicy level as I like spicy food. tastes awesome.
Nice place with good food and service.
Amazing Indian food,mm
Went for my sons birthday. Will go back, everyone enjoyed it!
Panipuri is not good. Manchuria is very nice.
We ordered delivery on Christmas day because we did our family dinners early this year and didnt feel like cooking, and Prince of India did not disappoint. The food was fresh, hot, delicious, and perfectly spiced. The garlic naan was flavourful and perfect for soaking up their generous portions of sauce. The chicken and lamb were both cooked to perfection. The samosas were stuffed full and the dips provided were great. We will definitely order from here again and again. Thank you for making our christmas night.
The food was so delicious. The lady who served us was very pleasant We will definitely return. Parking: Lots of parking.
One of the finest indian food that i had in Canada. People who visit Ikea should visit this place too. You wont be disappointed with the experience. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. Especially the veg biriyani is a must try one. The flavour is really good. Parking: There are lots of parking in the plaza Kid-friendliness: The place is kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible
I went to this restaurant with my wife, on our wedding anniversary. The place is very well maintained, they have a nice decor where we can take pictures too. We have ordered chicken biriyani ( Yes, we are from south India ) and Chicken breast pakora . The chicken is tender and soft. The taste is very good. I have shared some pictures here. The pricing looks very decent compared to other restaurants as well. I observed that all the serving was made with plastic free cutlery which is a great step towards sustainability.
Vegetarian options: Great Food
Awesome
Prince of India is the best restaurant for Indian food that comes out succulent and delicious! The servers are top class. We are definitely coming back tomorrow!
Very nice ambiance- had a very good time with family and friends. Mango lassi and lemonade rock - appetizer quantity is bit less taste of food is awesome.. there is a small setup for photostage.. which is best idea if there is any special occasion it s a quick take photo stage.. overall nice experience
Amazing traditional indian food! The best Ive had! There is no buffet since Covid but they offer Thali (veg or non-veg) lunch specials every day at a very reasonable price. Lots of free parking. Cozy ambiance. Indian beer + and a modest wine selection. Great service as well. A must try! You wont be disappointed! Parking: Huge strip mall parking lot. Lots of choices.
The food is amazing!! I have visited this place so many times but let me tell you , the taste is always the same, fantastic!!! Their Paneer chilli is fabulous and I would highly recommend it. The food here is so addictive that you would crave it!
Came for the buffet .. which apparently was cancelled beginning of pandemic. So maybe the website should be updated. Food was very good though. Butter chicken - chicken was a little dry. Bread was amazing. Overall very nice. Service was friendly but a little slow, but only one server and it was a little busy. Overall great experience and decent value.
Good ambience, decent food.
Food quality is too good Amazing service with great atmosphere and friendly staff SPECIALLY CAME FROM BRAMPTON Food
Our food didnt taste that well, chicken Tikka sizzlers had hard meat.. food and service can improve a lot. Ambiance and place is great Vegetarian options: Lot of vegetarian options.. dedicated menu items
Best Indian food in Burlington. Take out or Dine in.
Great foof
Verdict: A true gem for Indian food. 10/10 rating for food quality and taste. We have been to this place umpteen number of times and it never disappoints. You will be given a warm welcome upon entry and seated well in no time. The servers are courteous and are willing to advise if asked for recommendations. Our favourite dish to order here is cheese chilli which is liked equally by all the age groups. The quantity and quality of the food is something which brings us here every time we are around. They have a lot of variety in non vegetarian as well especially chicken. We didn t like the mutton rogan josh last time. We like their snacks as well - samosa, chaat etc. If you plan to order tea, please ask them to put less sugar. If it is a weekend the food could take some time to arrive on your table, otherwise it s pretty quick. They have a delivery service as well so they are preoccupied with orders. Please note there is no buffet option here and it only has a la carte menu. They also have a bar with large television sets which is a great option in case one wants to watch live sports. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Parking: Since the restaurant is in a plaza, it has ample parking space. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant has flexibility to customize the dish for kids, e.g. mild or with no spice, etc. There could be some exclusion to certain dishes which cannot be customized. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a stage area and a ground level area as well which is wheelchair accessible.
Found this in a middle of a road trip because we were starving, and we were all pleasantly surprised. Normally Indian restaurants are a hit or miss for my family because were quite critical of the food. This place surpassed our expectations. Food was delicious, serving size was large, curry wasnt oily or watery as they at other places, and price is quite fair. I will mention that they did mention a buffet option online but that wasnt available when we walked in. Not sure if they stopped or its available during certain times/days of the weeks. Keep in mind that it seems everything is cooked fresh to order, so expect to wait at least 20 mins for your food. But the wait it worth it. We ordered the butter chicken, lamb madras, and their peshawari naan alongside their butter naan. Everything was 10/10. For those who dont know or with allergies, lamb madras is cooked in coconut milk and peshawari naan contains cashews, dried fruits, and coconut. Butter chicken is nut free. I went in a group of 5 and we couldnt finish everything. A lot more food than youd expect. Bill came to just under $15 per person, including tip. The ambiance gets 10/10. Beautifully decorated. This place is also super clean; one of the cleaniest restaurants Ive ever been to. The bathroom is the cleaniest Ive ever seen for an Indian restaurant. That was brownie points. Even though its quite a distance from where I live, this restaurant has made a place for us for special occasions. We will definitely be going back!
Ok the service is trash but the flavours and food is delicious, we just order take out since we know the service is bad. Can t beat the butter chicken!
We have been there couple of times and everything is good. Food is amazing it s spacious so good vibe. And they do offer drinks. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available Parking: Lots of parking space available in front of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Great food and good ambience too.
The food was just average. We got a thali and pakodas platter. Thali was 4 out 5 but Pakods were bad. The sever was friendly and accommodating. Overall an average experience. Food : 3/5 |
I absolutely loved the lamb vindaloo, the meat was absolutely tender and flavourful. I also loved the chicken fried rice !
Bhuna chicken, roti and lacha prantha were really good. Paani puri was ok.
Such a pleasant experience. The food is absolutely incredible! If you love authentic Indian food, this place is a must try. Loved it!!!!
Amazing place clean with go oh d service and of course amazing food.
Food Is delicious and Authentic Indian taste. Staff was very professional. Highly recommended place to have great Food.
Ordered chicken biryani from Uber. No cutlury provided thanks. Chicken = rubber You can learn how to make and serve food from Indian street vendors. They are far better than you. Food : 2/5
I have only ordered food through Uber from here so can t comment on service and ambience etc but the food is great. I ve pretty much tried everything vegetarian they offer and I loved everything, which is a rarity for any restaurants. Very good prices and great taste, something in between a home made and typical restaurant food!
Nice place, well accommodated. We tried lamb biriyani, chicken biriyani, veg pakora and mixed veg korma. Food was okay (a bit salty for us though). We were expecting more meat in the biriyani. The tea was not tasty and pricey compared to the standard restaurants.
Our family dined at this restaurant twice now and have been really happy both times. The food tastes amazing especially the methi chicken and harayali chicken tikka. The garlic naan is perfection as well. The atmosphere is nice and I really like the bar area. I recommend this restaurant if you re looking for authentic Indian food in the Hamilton/Burlington area.
Love this little restaurant. They have good quality food at reasonable prices.
Taste of real Indian food
Food was excellent. Service was good also. I went to the washroom to comeback and my food was removed. No explanation just gone. I would eat here again just might do take out next time. Food
This restaurant is located in a busy plaza with ample parking space. Food was delicious and this is our second visit. Overall pleasant experience but the service could be improved.
Vegetarian options: Dal makhani and many more paneer tikka also soo good Food
We found this place back in the spring and had one of the most exquisite Indian meals of my life. Everything was perfect, including the service. We had been back about 2 or 3 times after and it remained excellent. This time not so much. We were seated and from here is when it started going downhill our appetizer took 15 min and that s long for a cold app. It also didn t look anything like the photo on the menu. After that, we ordered the Chicken Tikka, which was incredible the last few times we were there. This time the dish was completely different, the chicken was tough and chewy and not charred at all. They had cooked lettuce with shredded carrot on top with some pickled onion which was still raw and clearly not picked enough. After this we had the Butter chicken and chicken biryani. The butter chicken was tasty but they seemed to have forgotten the chicken. It only had 6 chunks of white meat, which seemed to be just added to the sauce and not cooked in he sauce at all. They usually garnish it with some lovely sliced onion, cilantro and a swirl of cream. this time it was only the cream. The chicken byriani was again very sparse on meat. So sparse that they served us lamb mixed with the chicken. I guess they ran out and didn t think we would notice. The Naan was less then spectacular. It was undercooked and chewy. We couldn t even taste the garlic. The service was less than usual too. Our entree plates were left on the table after they brought next course plates out. We just moved them to the side. We sat and watched other customers who came in after us get their food sooner. We had to ask for more water, then the left the empty bottle on the table. Our server brought the visa machine over, dropped it on the table and never came back. I could go on but I won t. I have been a chef for over 40 years and have eaten in many many restaurants, I ve been a consultant and owner of my own restaurants and have opened many for others for people, all I have to say is that if your good enough to be rated one of the best of Burlington then you shouldn t let that go to you head. You should push and keep being the best year after year. You name is your brand and if you let that go because of one award. People will start to notice. Sad to see this place take such a nose dive.
Nice ambience to the place. They also have a party room. The food is nice and great service. Have a good selection in the bar as well.
We live about an hour drive away but having went for a dinner at Prince of India after a trip to Ikea a few months back we found ourselves today making the hour trip to Prince of India and stopping into Ikea afterwards as a bonus. The food is amazing. Service is great. They accidently gave us someone elses Naan which we tucked into before realizing we had ordered a different flavour so they waived the naan off the final bill and still let us finish it off so cant complain there!
All I can say is the butter chicken and garlic nann are super delicious, probably the best I ve had, little bit spicy in the butter chicken is perfect, also the nann are so fresh, soft and crispy, very nice!
Very nice preparation. Good nan.
Amazing authentic Indian food and great service :)
Tastiest Indian (Asian) food. Amazing Ambience. Polite and Sweet Staff. Must try Chinese. Paneer Kadai and Naan. Satisfying vegetarian options available. Vegetarian options: Satisfying vegetarian options available.
Vegetarian options: It is very hard to find exact Indian touch in vegetarian options when you are outside of your home country but they have proved it wrong. So delicious and full Punjabi touch Food
Outing with our moms for dinner. Amazing as always Parking: Parking can get busy because it is in a plaza, but it is free parking, which is almost always available near the restaurant. Food : 5/5 |
Our fav place to go when we crave good time and great Indian food. We always bring all our friends and family here and this restaurant never disappoints! Highly recommend!
Waited 40 min for 2 dishes, rice and nan Seemed to be a lot of take out orders Food interesting vegetable special didn t have all ingredients listed on menu. Ordered it med-hot spice level. It was mild. Shrimp vindaloo was the most bland vindaloo dish I have eaten. Told the server after we flagged her down. Didn t ask for drink order or refill water. Poor Indian food.
Great food but I wish they had more water at the table theyre service was great ptherwise

It was a wonderful place with a variety of food and a good amount of choices for vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: The staff was friendly and welcoming with the kids. Also they had kids chairs. They do not have a kid menu.
The food was fresh and tasty, the presentation was great and the service was fantastic.
Amazing food, definitely coming back to get more soon.
